Room was clean but basic. No microwave. Very little coffee. But met our basic needs for one night. Next door to iHop.

Staff excellent!! Very knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant!!

Drunk, loud people were in the parking lot. One of them was urinating. We had to wait outside for 3-5 minutes to check in (no one was at the front desk, and the lobby was locked when we checked in). The front desk lady was chewing gum. Inside was clean and spacious.

The rooms and interior hallways were absolutely spotless!! as a matter of fact, during our stay, they were cleaning all the carpets in the hallways as well as the rooms. We will definitely stay there every time we’re in the area. Rooms seem to be recently remodeled.

The staff were friendly and attentive. My only complaint is that there was not a microwave in the room. Otherwise, our stay was great and if the owner decides to put microwaves in rooms, I will book again. Otherwise, I will be staying elsewhere.

Room was clean, location convenient but I was interrupted at 9am when check out is 11am by a carpet cleaner who told me I had to leave soon. There was a do not disturb sign on door, but the person knocked and walked in the room. Not a nice experience. Not even an apology. Won't be back!

The halls have a smell. Probably old carpet. Echo in the rooms. Water pressure wasn’t the greatest. AC is loud. Bed not as comfortable as expected. If you just need somewhere to sleep because of a flight or something it’s okay. But I’d pay 20$ more for a nicer hotel. Was t horrible just below my standard.

Parking lot hard to get out of due to Veterans avenue being a one-way street and very busy. Great air conditioning! Unfriendly staff while checking in. Didn't tell us you get 10% off as a guest at IHOP. Found that out when checking out. Otherwise room was clean. Watch out for staying on ground floor both nights were horrible with noisy person upstairs making noise between 9:30 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. complained. Not much happened obviously, they did it again the next night.

I stayed for 6 night and had a few wishes: that the pool was heated so I could exercises, that the people upstairs from me were quieter. Otherwise, I would stay again.

The air-conditioning was functional and easy to use. I noticed a burning smell when the heat was turned on. The bed wasn’t great, but serviceable for a short visit. There is only one ice machine in the pool area, which was inconvenient. The staff were friendly and pleasant to interact with. Early check-in was a plus. There are an only few food options that are a walkable distance in the area: IHOP, Pizza Hut and Chick-fil-A.

We rented the room so we wouldn’t have to drive all the way from Dublin, California to Redwood City for an early morning. Doctors appointment. They accommodated me with the accessible shower like I asked, and the check-in was fast and easy. The room was clean, and the bed was comfy!

This is definitely not lux Accommodations, You will not find a mint on your pillow or breakfast. The ihop next door provides good food at reasonable prices. This chain of motels serves working class folks who cannot afford a $200 a night room. The pool area was nicely landscaped. No microwave in the room although there was a coffeemaker. Very small refrigerator. Good bargain.

This hotel is way better than it looks. It’s super clean and close to everywhere.

The location was very good -15 mins away from Redwood City Center The only thing I didn't like was the WI-FI. Never managed to connect my notebook and it constantly dropped my mobile so I couldn't use it as a hotspot too. The ISP company who's contact were given out to me didn't pick up either.

Seemed like they fixed up rooms a bit since I have been there last! 2 bed room though was decent size! I had trouble getting air conditioner to stay on constant fan way but I kept the slider open! Also first night I did not have hot water, but was fixed the next morning.

Every time I come to the Bay Area I stayed at the Good Nite Inn for several days. It is practical as it is next to 101. For longer stay towels are changed every day but this time the garbage were not emptied and the coffee not replenished. I have noticed the room has been painted and they have added new patio furniture. Clean place friendly staff.

It worked for me but be aware that there is a lot of traffic noise in the rooms facing onto the 101. For light sleepers like me that is a deal breaker. I moved to a courtyard room and it was fine. Comfortable beds and pillows, a fridge in the room but alas no microwave. I would stay again!

My room was on the first floor. Hot water came quickly and hot enough. The room was clean. Towels were fairly new. The bed was comfortable. The room had a mini fridge but no microwave. I stayed at this hotel because I needed to go to SF CBD in the morning. I knew the hotels in downtown were much more expensive and difficult to find parking spot. The stay worked well. I recommend this hotel.

The rooms were large and updated. The staff were very friendly. It was located with easy access to freeway and centrally located between SFO and Stanford. Would have been nice to have handicapped accessible ramps from the front entrance rather than just the back or around the far right side. But at least it had ramps in some places.

This is the third time I’ve stayed at the Good Nite Inn and all of my other experiences were great. I stayed for 6 nights. When I got home from work on the third night, I noticed my bathtub had a little bit of water in the bottom of it despite not being used (I had used the gym showers, I shower, I swear). The next night when I got back from work, house keeping had been there because towels were thrown in the bathroom, but the water had filled up more in the tub now with dirt and hair and muck. I went to the front desk and was told maintenance wouldn’t be in until the next morning, nothing else said. The next night I get home from work, the water is gone, but all of the muck and hair is still on the bottom of the tub. Housekeeping came and nobody cleaned anything up, I was left with a shower/tub that was so gross, it was not usable. Maintenance and house keeping both ignored it. Really disappointing after j brought it up to the front desk

We travel to Redwood City for Stanford medical. This was an excellent value for the area. Clean, easy to get to by car. IHOP right next door. Not super walk-able but perfect if you have a car. Lots of parking. We have tried several places and this is now our go-to for the area.

Check in staff was great, particularly because I was checking in at 1 AM. Room was clean with nice amenities. New television and refrigerator. The body wash and shampoo were in a container on the wall but seemed to be decent quality. Nice little balcony. Property was convenient to the freeway and only 15 minutes from SFO.

Great property, easy parking and super nice front desk. Nice big clean rooms! Impressed initially but the one sad thing was I found a cockroach crawling around in my shower :( Besides that the hotel was actually surprisingly better than expected, I just couldn’t get over the cockroach!

This property is very close to the freeway off ramp, did not hear it much from my room VERY close to on ramp, no microwave in room, one is available near from to desk outside of building. The wi-fi was spotty for part of my stay. Dining options are really two choices, IHOP next door, and a Chick Fil-A across a busy eight lane thoroughfare. I guess you could call an all nite gas station a dining option with food to go. This property was too far from downtown, even with occasional bus service. Must have a car.

The hotel is OK. I was inconvenienced by being locked out of my room at 9a. When I went to the front desk, the young lady wasn’t too friendly. She gave me another key, and that one didn’t work. A manager/maintenance man came by to let me in and said my key didn’t work because I was checking out that day. I asked why would I be locked out at 9a if checkout is at 11a. He replied “that’s just what happens. “ No apologies, no friendly smile, just a straight face. The hotel is OK, but the non friendliness of the staff made the stay not so great.

The room was clean and the staff was pleasant. The phone in the room did not work (no big deal but it was sticky and old with no dial tone). The problem was the noise and the beds. The beds felt like cardboard . But the rudeness of the people above us was excruciating. Thin walls forced us to listen to elephant level stepping /running/jumping until about 2-3 am. The front desk claimed the hotel was full and couldn’t move us , offered to call the room but I assume they never did. Horrible night. Very disappointed and the price was a joke for what we went through.

Not being a resident of the West Coast (California), I was expecting customs to be the same as found in the mid-west of the country. They changed the sheets once during my 6-day/night stay. Here at home, it's nightly. I have no understanding of why that was.

The room was very clean basic amenities were fine. The only complaint I did have is I could hear some noise upstairs above my room. I was just trying to get an upper story room if you don’t want any noise or people walking around above your room. Otherwise, I would stay there again as I go down many times a year for business.

My room is large and clean, beautiful sparkling pool and mature trees to look at on my balcony. It’s a hidden gem. Easy to get to work! Happy staff to great you. It’s my favorite Bay Area hôtel.

The beds are very uncomfortable. We both woke up with our backs and hips hurting. The first room we were in smelled musty and I discovered a lot of mold near the sliding glass door but on the inside not the outside. So the room felt very neglected obviously staff had to of smelled this. We were moved rooms after showing them a picture. I like the balconies. The rooms are very clean other than our refrigerator having something yellow on the bottom and an overwhelming smell of onions. Sometimes at night there are some sketchy looking people walking around the parking lot. You don’t see cameras in the parking lot which is concerning.

Was pleasantly surprised with room and amenities for the price I paid for the room. Maybe could have uses a little bit warmer bedding. Don't like to run heater all night.

Loved our room, and the gentleman who checked us in was really cool. What's more, having an IHOP 20 feet away was really convenient. I wouldn't honeymoon here, but for sports or other weekend trips, this would be my first choice.

Temp control was weird. Blowing hot air then shutting off 2 min then blowing room temp air. I got booted off wifi for downloading podcasts apparently. I could not reset or fix this. Room layout was good. The tv was weird like most hotels taking 5 s to change channel w no guide data after I changed it from spanish to english. Beds had no comforter, three pillows, and 2 sheets. Shower was best part of stay. Hot w good pressure. Soap dispensers barely gave out any soap. Fan in bath worked but still need to open door to get no fog on mirrors. Checkout was easy and uber found us easily. Overall decent but wifi might be a problem for you.

The place was pretty good for the price. I felt like there was some dust on the white sheets though. But I’d stay here again if I’m in the area. It’s a good hotel.

The room was big and everything was clean. It was very quiet although we were facing the parking and the road. Check in was easy and we enjoyed our stay. You get what you pay for and I thought it was a good deal for the size of the room. I wish they had a micro wave but they had a nice size fridge.

This is a very convenient location for me. So this was my second stay here and I would stay again in the future. This is a popular hotel so don't wait to the last minute to book as it may be full.

Very clean room. Staff was helpful at check in and check out. This is a nice budget motel. Shower worked but was small. Bathroom was clean but small. No closet was a bummer but they did have a small fridge under a smaller than usual TV. Right off the 101, not a bad place but not ritzy either. If you understand what you are getting it will work for you.

It’s ok. Flair-wise, it’s somewhat reminiscent of a motel even though the aisles are closed off. Right next to the major highway 101 and another major road on the other side. The room was spacious, clean, and likely recently renovated, so no complaints there.

Comfortable and clean room with easy access to the freeway and airport. Our room was quiet and spacious.

Parking spaces are limited on a weekday night. We weren’t able to get a spot until someone left. Wait time:5 mins. If he didn’t leave, we would have circled around for quite awhile. Left for dinner 7:30pm and back at 9pm.

Checking in and out was easy. The only complain I have is that AC is really loud. Room was clean and has a lot of space. Would come back.

For a modestly priced place, this motel exceeded our expectations in all ways. Staff were great in answering all our questions. Beds comfortable. Bathroom and all scrupulously clean. And the windows were amazing at shutting out the noisy busy road. Only quibble noisy HVAC thing. noisy

I had a room right next to the exit door to the floor. Extremely noisy. James at the desk said that next time I stay to request a room in a different spot.

This is definitely not a fancy hotel by any means. It is bare basic what you need- a bed, a bathroom, working heat/air, tv- that's it. BUT it was clean and my check in was fine. I'm giving it a kind of low rating because it was SO loud. I was put in a room right by the exterior entrance/exit door so literally alllll night you would just hear loud crashes as people came through the doors and they would slam shut. It was very hard to sleep. Also, the sheets have been used for longer than needed- lots of piling, and there was no blanket...just multiple sheets layered on the bed. If it wasn't for the loud doors and inability to sleep, it would have been perfectly fine. Additionally, note that if you're leaving early in the morning (I left at 4:30am for a flight) there is no one on staff and no way to checkout. I kind of pushed my key card under the door, but no other checkout options that I saw.

The property has been renovated since last visit. The smoke and odors have been reduced. You can’t blame property management cause folks refuse to follow the Rules. It was safe, room clean (no unwanted pest)! The IHOP for breakfast was delicious with senior specials. Thanks everyone 🙏

The staff checking in and out were very friendly. The property is a bit dated, but the room was clean, quiet at night and nice and dark. There’s a large slider with a small patio, but the curtains blocked all exterior light. For one night trip, this met our needs fine.

Check in was a breeze. Parking was real close till I had to leave for a while and the place filled up. Rooms here have always been clean.

The staff checking in was very friendly and helpful. It was very conveniently located off the freeway with an ihop right there. There was plenty of parking available. The room was very spacious which was nice and had a cute little balcony set up. It was a nice place to stay to be close to Filoli to see the Dambo Trolls exhibit.

Close to airport. Easy check in. There was no one there to checkout at 4:03 am, but was able to slide keys thru the window. Nearby places to eat and not too far from downtown where there’s more options. Room was clean and everything was working. There was just no microwave in room.Overall, it was an excellent stay.

It was a nice stay. The person at the front desk was really helpful in getting us a room that was comfortable for us. He was also very helpful in letting us know where some good food in the area. The room was okay. It was comfortable enough for the moments we were there.

Nice place

We only stayed there for two nights and were out during the day. The room is very spacious for a 2 1/2 star hotel. We didn't use much of the facility or explore the surroundings. But I feel it's a good value if you need to visit the bay area for a short trip.

There is no closet in the room. Just a hook on the wall with two coat hangers.

Excellent for the price, front desk guy was a bit out of it, and it is extremely noisy sandwiched between 101and Veterans Boulevard, but this is the budget winner for this area.

We were visiting Filoli a few miles away and booked this inexpensive hotel. I settled on it, because of the high customer ratings. My partner and I were very pleased with the accommodation and the staff. The establishment is getting an entire makeover, and everything was clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend it, and stay there again. By the way, I normally stay at Marriott!

Staff was great. Beds were really uncomfortable. Everything just seemed really old and tired out. Ended up leaving early because driving and sitting in the car for 11 hours in the middle of the night seemed the better option than another terrible night of not sleeping. We were right. But again, the staff was awesome and were doing the best they could with what they had to offer

Great place for the price. As others have said, the rooms seem recently renovated and mine seemed very clean and spacious with high ceilings. Shower has great pressure, best I've experienced in a while. Nice pool that's 8 feet deep, don't see that often either. My room had a great location behind the pool - very quiet with balcony overlooking the pool. Other rooms overlook the parking lot and I imagine that's not quite as nice. Laundry facilities cheaper than nearby laundromats. Pool was never crowded. Housekeeping is relatively minimal (fine with me). They replace towels and empty trash but don't replace sheets. All in all it's a pleasant place to stay in general and especially for the price.

It's overall a decent hotel for the price and the staff are very friendly and they have good coffee in the morning. It's nothing special but for the price it's a clean room and the bathtub and other things you expect to function a room such as the air conditioning work.

This updated hotel (old Howard Johnson’s) was very clean and comfortable. Comfy bed, plenty of free parking, even a little patio. We were in a quiet corner and our only complaint was the sound of footsteps in the room above us which started earlier than we wanted to get up. Clean swimming pool; pretty tiny - good for dips not laps.

We asked for extra garbage bags, we were told they were out, how does a hotel run out of garbage bags? Dogs barking at night, besides that, the room was clean and roomy. Bathroom was clean. There was no breakfast available at this hotel, just coffee. Needs more than 3 pillows to a queen size bed for 2 adults. Better options for TV channels please.

Rooms are spacious and clean, however they lack some basic features like coat hangers and cabinets in the bathroom to keep your stuff. I had to replace my room key card twice which was a hassle, but the staff helped me promptly replace them. Overall a good experience.

This is a great simple hotel that is very conveniently located, clean, comfortable and safe. The staff were great. My little frig turned out to be a freezer so I called the desk and that day maintenance came and fixed it and my food was cold but no longer frozen. Yay! And I struggled with the card key and the gentleman at the desk was so kind and sorted me out (it was all in the wrist) and was never impatient or unkind with me. He just helped me. Parking in convenient and food is near by. I would stay here again.

The first room we were in smelled of pet urine so bad we asked to be moved. The customer service desk person was very rude and questioned me whether I had pets or not which I did not after a quite rude experience. We finally were able to move rooms.

This was not our fist stay, we appreciate check in process, cleanliness of the grounds and rooms. We were disappointed this time with the bed, very uncomfortable) and two dogs in rooms close by barked continually for hours.

This is the best value in the Bay Area. You get a comfortable bed, refrigerator, fast internet and a pool. It’s not a 5 star hotel but for less than $100 a night it can’t be beat.

All the staff has been really nice. Hotel is clean and comfortable. I’d say just good basic accommodations at a fair price.

Enjoyed my stay in this area as well as this hotel. Well maintained grounds. Nice pool area in a courtyard area so very private. Close to downtown and the Caltrain for day trips into San Francisco. Room was clean and well appointed. Would definitely stay there again.
