I had the pleasure of an overnight stay in the neighborhood, and it was quite a pleasant experience. While the bed did creak a little, and the room appeared somewhat dated, it was clean, and the sheets were fresh. I would appreciate it if the carpets were newer or a hard surface floor. The room's layout was very well thought out, and the air conditioner functioned perfectly. I appreciated the amenities and toiletries provided, including a safe, bathtub, hairdryer, microwave, and fridge. Overall, my expectations were exceeded, and the staff was exceptionally helpful. I also appreciate the fact that no pets are allowed except service animals, as I am allergic to cats and dogs. The room feels clean, as I am extremely sensitive and I did not have a reaction. I would gladly choose to stay here again.

Its location to the Stanford hospital was perfect. It was very clean. No loud neighbors and staff were amazingly friendly both at check in and check out. Parking was a little narrow and we experienced a rude Tesla driver that parked in the middle of the parking lot driveway while having a conversation with someone in the car.

The continental breakfast was actually better than expected. They had cereal, milk, juice, hot chocolate, bagels, Belgian waffles, sausage, yogurt, and fresh fruit like apples, so there were plenty of options for everyone in the morning. The only downside was that there were no elevators, so carrying luggage or traveling with kids can be a bit difficult if your room is upstairs. Other than that, it was a great value and we’d definitely consider staying again.

The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was great. The staff were professional and polite. The only issue we had was our air conditioning system quit during the night and displayed an error message when we tried to restart it. What was strange was that the system started working about 7am the next day. When the system quit it made the room stuffy and unpleasant. I mentioned it to the staff and they checked the unit later that morning. Our second night the unit worked properly.

The room was clean and staff was very pleasant. I did find it interesting that the breakfast included meatballs instead of bacon or sausage on the 3 mornings I ate there. I appreciate having access to a laundry room right on site. We have stayed here several times and have booked it again- it’s convenient for our trips to Stanford Hospital.

Stayed for 4 nights. Place was clean. Bed was good, pillows were flat and awful. Even though we were away from the street there was a lot of street noise. Room very stuffy unless air conditioner was running, which was also noisy. Nothing that the motel could do about the noise. Breakfast was average. Brewed decaf only available one morning.

The room was nice-sized and comfortable. It was helpful having a refrigerator that included a small freezer, along with the microwave and keurig. The location was convenient and easy to get in and out from. The only downfall was how loud the footsteps from the room above us were- it was extremely loud.

This is an old motel that has been updated. It was ok, nothing special. It was a very dark room, few lights and on the first floor we couldn't open the blinds (people walking by).

We have stayed here before and it was ok. It was a decent cheap option. This time was a fully different experience. I will never stay there again. The outside door to the room had problems opening and closing. There was a gap between the door and frame. Bathroom wasnt very clean. Also looked like a dog had chewed on the bathroom door. Stains on the sheets. The first floor room we had was beyond loud. You could hear every single noise from above and next to us. Sketchy people staying there and strong marijuana smell.

Location. I had the king sized bed and it was the perfect firmness for me. The pillows were also the perfect firmness. I usually take melatonin for sleep but forgot it and I slept well in this bed. My 16 year old daughter had the sofa bed which she states was “Alright” and gave it an 8/10

There was a good free breakfast. The sofa bed mattress was stained with who knows what so we couldn’t use it and the walls are super thin; it was hard to sleep.

The manager was very helpful when Expedia refused to amend my stay (and told me it was the hotel's fault) and was able to help meet my travel needs without a lot of fuss. It is conveniently close to Stanford's various medical facilities. The room was clean. The free breakfast and parking are super convenient. I will definitely be keeping them in mind when I inevitably need to return for future medical care.

Very clean room, basic amenities but served the purpose of our stay. Be prepared for road noise and noisy neighbors. Not much in the way of nearby food so Uber Eats came in handy.

Everything was great! We will be back every time we have doctor’s appointments at Stanford. Breakfast was good and everything is clean and kept up. And the price is great as well. Very happy we found this Inn.

Breakfast was kinda gross. Bagels were stale, eggs were powdered and sausage was “veggie”. People above our room must have been playing football in their night all night because of all the noise. Price was great. I guess you get what you pay for

Breakfast included eggs, pork, tator tots, cold cereal, waffle maker. Some days had caffeine free coffee, some did not. We stayed 6 nights and the room is very comfortable and spacious. Our key cards didn’t work half the time (not kept with anything magnetic). Convention location. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We stay here whenever we are in the area. It is very centrally located for our needs, near to Stanford and the rest of the Bay Area. The staff is friendly and helpful. Some one here likes to garden, as there are always many plants, especially roses.

The Atherton is a recently reimagined boutique hotel. It was clean and provided a complimentary breakfast. There was a small hiccup with our room when we first arrived and upon learning of the issue they made things right in a most professional way. Rooms closer to the check-in point are a bit noisy, but at the back it was quiet. Overall it was sufficient for our needs. It is close to downtown Redwood City which made accessing the fabulous dining found there super convenient! It is close enough to San Francisco to make it a quieter choice for a weekend getaway while still being able to see the sights! Staff was excellent and knowledgeable. Good stay.

A dressed up Camino Real motel. Nice bed, large room. The shower only goes up to warm, not hot. The breakfast was freezer burned stuff heated up. The walls are thin, so hit or miss on your fellow guests - we got hit hard by a next door party from midnight to 5 am the 1st night, the 2nd night was a puking biker, but the third night was perfectly quiet. Toss of the dice.

The staff were fantastic. The bed was clean and comfortable, the bathroom area was clean and pleasant. The sofa bed was falling apart, the room felt a bit grimy and smelled like air freshener.

EVERYONE on the staff was friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast was varied and delicious. The room was updated with quality materials. The room was cleaned every day so that each time we returned it was in the same condition as the first day we arrived.

We’re frequently in Palo Alto area for medical appointments and Atherton Park Inn has been one of our top choices to stay. Great rooms, easy parking, and reasonably priced for an expensive area.

Always like this hotel. Stayed many times. My son tried to use the gym but most machines are broken. Pull out couch is not comfortable. But staff are friendly. Service is good. Will come back again.

We booked on Expedia, and got a room (#222) that was next to El CX amino Real, a very noisy street. We asked for a quieter room and hotel refused. I got very little sleep. I suspect other rooms were ok, but what's the point of getting a room that we can't sleep?

This hotel is run well. We’ve been here a few times and the beds are comfortable and just right it’s nothing fancy but it’s clean and fairly quiet and spacious. It’s a good value.

This place is fine and a decent value for the price. It is very clean and the staff is friendly so it’s good if you’re just looking for a place sleep. The breakfast is okay but nothing special. It is two stories and has no elevator. My room’s ac system was very dated and did not work well. I asked to have it serviced but no one ever came to work on it.

Itʻs a perfect, convenient location. I did feel it couldʻve been a little cleaner as the sheets on both beds had stains. However, there are many amenities with free breakfast, the ice maker, and a coffee maker, fridge, and microwave in the room.

Conveniently located. Large room.

The staff is extremely loud all morning long. Banging on walls around you and floors above you, they relentlessly make loud noise! They were even cleaning out trash cans right outside my room door all morning long! Then they insisted they had to come in and "clean" after I'd been there for 3 days. I don't want staff coming into my room with all of my belongings present, sorry. I also don't want to move all of my stuff every 3 days just so they can snoop through my room. I canceled the rest of my stay because it felt like I had no privacy at this place. Don't stay here if you want to sleep in in the morning!

The breakfast was great. Our room was big and comfy. They even have a washer and dryer.

The only negative is that the cable television subscription should. be upgraded from what appears to be the low. cost basic programming. Only. important as I stayed for 5 days.

Terrible WIFI, very inconsistent. Old tvs and remotes, only offering basic cable is just being cheap, and no streaming apps. Come on, it's 2025.So many other hotels in the area offer these as a standard. Not a good choice for business travellers or familes. I won't be back.

We had a 2 night stay while visiting Stanford medical. Our room was clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The price was good for the area. The breakfast was tasty. We would stay again.

Very helpful and polite front desk staff. Parking is plentiful and good for large and small vehicles. The morning breakfast had great waffles and hot meal and cold meal options. Overall a great experience.

Comfortable and clean. We will continue to use this hotel when we have business in town. The breakfast bar and have the typical tasty but not really healthy options. On the second morning there were even less options and no orange juice. Also, housekeeping started pretty early. They parked in front of our door. It would’ve been nice to sleep in after a medical procedure but their talking precluded that. Office staff very nice and efficient

Always our go to place when we come for medical procedures. Clean and spacious with good rates. I did notice on this visit that there was a lack of shower towels in the bathroom compared to normal.

Black mold in the bathroom, no extra blankets, TV did not work, although fixed quickly by front desk clerk.

Gym key didn't work one morning and no staff was available before 7:00 AM and lobby door was locked with a bike lock, so couldn't use the gym. "Inn & Suites" implied a hotel, but it was definitely a motel. Door being right on the parking lot meant it was louder than I thought it would be.

We had a great stay here. The staff was nice and welcoming. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The included breakfast was great! Dining area was clean. We would stay here again!
