AC has one setting: full throttle (or off) and it’s right up against your bed. Avoid.

Nora and Deborah stood out in particular—both were attentive, communicative, and handled a busy environment with ease while still making sure every guest felt taken care of. Everything ran smoothly, the service was top-tier, and it made the stay that much better. Highly recommend

The man who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. he suggested the safest place to park our car and gave is restaurant suggestions. The breakfast staff was very nice and for a quick breakfast, it had some really good choices.

Everything was great until we tried the tv, they offer streaming but when we tried to cast our programs, there was no internet service. Thus we were unable to watch what we wanted and the number of other channels available was very limited. We were not happy about it.

We stayed one night with three cats. We had a room with a king-size bed and a den with couch and a desk. There is plenty of room to let cats spread around. The continental breakfast has fresh fruits besides banana. The front desk had fresh cookie in the evening.

My check-in rep was very nice…however, nothing the staff can do about it but was disappointed when I was made aware that I wouldn’t receive point credit for my stay because I booked through Orbitz.

Front desk was efficient and sweet. The room looks decorated from the 1970s but not in a good way. Extremely dated and ugly. I’m disappointed. Pictures online can only show so much. Bed seems ok but the shower has absolutely no pressure. I don’t feel like I got all my areas clean. It just seems not worth the price I paid.

We stayed in Redding for 1 night, the hotel was perfect for our needs. Easy off of the freeway, safe area, super clean. There is a great little place to eat just across the parking lot called Dills Deli! Awesome BBQ and food! Great service there and just steps across the parking lot from the hotel. Would definitely stay here again, and eat at Dills!!

Breakfast was very good. The elevator was broken and room on second floor. Staff was super nice, carried bags up to room but with bad leg, I struggled getting up and down.

The hotel was great, quiet and very accessible location. When we arrived we had 2 toddlers and lots of luggage, and at check in the manager, Brett, offered to carry our luggage up the stairs to our room. It was so thoughtful and really helped us get settled. We would happily stay again!

Friendly staff! However, the elevator was broken, so I had to carry my luggage up the stairs. Normally, this isn't a problem, but when you have lower back issues, it's not ideal. Rooms are small. but clean. No coffee maker, but they have 24 hr coffee and tea in the lobby. Nice to have a microwave and a small fridge in the room. The bathroom is a good size and the A/C works :)

This is a limited review because I didn’t take advantage of all the features. I was happy because I got first floor room in the back close to an access door to a parking lot. I wasn’t happy about the $15 daily parking fee though. Overall my stay was trouble free and that is what is most important to me.

Pool was great Breakfast was all you could want. Tucked away from the busy parts of town, although right by the freeway, it felt safe and close enough to drive for food or shopping.

This was a great stopover spot for us, and the room we had was massive for a family of four, with a small lounge area too. Great little pool and the breakfast was excellent in the morning. There wasn't much around but it was a perfect stop over hotel on along journey.

Once in the room and taking a shower Midway through the shower the water turns off. Again the front desk was very nonchalant about this. I did explain to the front desk that I had just drove 15 hours with a 1-year-old and this was beyond inconvenient.

Property is very quiet even though you're close to Interstate 5 but you do not hear the noise. Have a nice hot breakfast and everything is clean in the staff is very nice. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again

The property is nice, the staff is excellent, the price is very good. I alsed for and checked all the boxes for a handicap accessible room and it is not. My partner can not use the toilet or shower and his wheelchair will barely fit in the room. Adter speaking to the properties employee she said that Expedia dis not book a handicap room

Across the street a great deli and ice cream store. No highway noise. Good breakfast included in the rate.

The hotel and our room was clean. Staff were nice-friendly and attentive. The noise from adjacent rooms came through clearly. I could hear the person talking on the phone, and room above us we could hear them walking around. Shower was very powerful with no adjustment.

The property was 2 Star max. Inexpensive looking rooms and amenities. Lots of kids running up and down the halls at night. Breakfast not that appealing. The staff however really came thru for us. My wife left her IPAD in the room. When I called about it they had found it and expeditiously arranged to ship it to us. It arrived 3 days later. That was awesome!

Very happy with the location and EVERYTHING about this hotel. We were greeted warmly. We stopped using hotels.com for a bit as it felt as the rooms we were given were the smallest, least desirable. This did NOT occur at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Redding. Our room was perfect!

Quiet Our rattling air conditioner kept waking us up !! It was really noisy.

The breakfast was indeed very good. We were on the side facing the highway and the sound insulation could be better. You could hear trucks during the night.

The hotel was excellent and exceptional, however booking.com was so bad. I am still waiting for a response from them on why this reservation did not go through Fairfield Inn side. Very poor customer service from booking.com I booked this room 2 weeks in advance - but when I went to hotel on the day of booking, I was told reservation not found on Fairfield Inn side and they helped me to get booked in a smaller room at different hotel after waiting for over an hour at midnight. The hotel was excellent and exceptional, however booking.com was so bad. I am still waiting for a response from them on why this reservation did not go through Fairfield Inn side. Very poor customer service from booking.com

We arrived after 3 am to our pre booked hotel! (due to an over ambitious driving goal)…but the front desk was the nicest we encountered on our entire 10 day vacation and sad we only stayed one night!!! We asked for a late check out, which was granted without hesitation! The front desk gave use water and a bottom floor room! Our room was large, the bed/pillows super comfortable, and the linens were the softest we had after staying at multiple hotels! Loved the location, wished we had time to try the ice cream shop next door! The best customer service we experienced on our trip!!!

Also, the breakfast was slightly above average for the area (and had almond milk!) but it didn't have regular oatmeal (my favorite) only the heavily sugar varieties. Missing the only must have breakfast item for me sort of sucked. Overall a decent stay, but I wouldn't make this my go to unless there really wasn't anything else in the area.

Walls and floors are thin. Had to bang on wall late at night to get people to lower their voices--- they woke me out of a deep sleep. Then we had foot stompers above us with kids running back and forth. We were here five nights.

The Fairfield Inn room and facilities were very clean and updated. We enjoyed our stay. We wish it could have been for more than one night.

Property was perfect! Clean, super breakfast, checkout at 12 and overall, couldn’t ask for more! Thank you, Marriott, Fairfield… you get all the details right.

We really enjoyed the young man who was working. He was pleasant and cheerful. Owner is lucky to have him!

It was a nice two day stay at this property. We were there with kids, and the place was comfortable and cozy. There was breakfast and all day coffee which was a nice touch. ... Overall nice stay and good people.

Clean and quiet

I stay here regularly throughout the year as it’s a halfway point to where I’m going. I’ve never had a bad experience here. Something new that they’ve added to the rooms which I love is the new mini fridges now have a completely separate freezer on top with its own outer door. This is a huge help to me!

The beds were way too firm, felt like sleeping in the field on a military exercise. Besides that it was great.

It is right off the freeway and easy to find. There is also a lot of parking. There is a deli and ice cream shop near by.

Very well managed and friendly and helpful staff. While the free breakfast was good, the food and drinks available for sale at the hotel were minimal. (No wine for sale). There are no nearby dining options.

Fantastic location for a stop over. The staff Andrew was over the top friendly and accommodating! The breakfast was a notch above the regular breakfasts included places. They greet you with a cookie and they also had free beers and appies between 6pm and 7:30pm! Wow! Truly amazing!

Good breakfast. Outdoor Pool was still closed at the end of February.

Very thin walls. I would only stay if i was on the third floor. You hear every step and door slams. Not very well designed for sound. Super noisy if there is a floor above you.

We loved the morning breakfast options they served. Hot and cold items. There is a great sandwich place and ice cream shop walking distance. Great place for our needs this weekend.

I was relocating to Spokane WA. My sister and I had been driving for eleven hours when we pulled in to your location, it was after 3:00 a.m.. Rachel was great about getting us checked in and helping us out; parking close to our room and grabbing breakfast before we continued on the next day. This is why I love Marriott!
