Check-in was a nightmare. There did not appear to be any staff, front desk or otherwise, on site overnight. Check-in was done via a kiosk in the lobby with someone who appeared to be off site. The sound quality was some of the worst I've ever had the misfortune to hear, dropping out randomly, and I had to ask the young lady on the other end to repeat almost everything multiple times.

It was clean. Amenities like TV wasn’t working. Shower handle was misleading identifying Hot when actually Cold and Visa versa. Did not feel welcoming due to additional towels access and having walk to staff, to turn in old towels for new one. That’s was sooo tacky. Not even in a regular Motel 6 which barely has anything and no kitchen did we have to do this. I would not come back unless desperate for a room during another Vollyball tournament season.

No smart tvs here but these people are nosey and expect you don’t have close to no visitors. If you do have visitors, you are expected to report it to the front desk and present your identification card. There are cameras everywhere. They will kick you out before checkout time.

California law dictates that hotels, motels and rental units must meet basic health, safety, and habitability standards, requiring that they be clean and free from vermin or filth. Under California Civil Code § 1941, rooms must be maintained in a sanitary condition, and if they are not, you have grounds to request a refund.

Just a bad location room was dirty sheets and pillows had stains staff no help crazy party that night was so loud I just ended up leaving and booking else where that night didn’t even say an hour and it was bad just respectful came back in morning got deposit because that’s all I could get back for this horrible experience

I did not care for the virtual check in. I only received two pillows even though typically when I stay at a motel 6 extended or not they gladly give me 3 or 4 pillows as I checked in as 2 adults. And did not receive extra towels like I requested, motel 6 is not supposed to charge extra for my pets, but each dog I brought was an extra $10.00 so I spent an extra $20.00. The kitchenettes need to provide a dish soap dispenser. As we forget ours and used the complimentary little bars of soap. The bath tub did not fill as the open and close stopper did not work. The window in a handicap room should not have the lock on the top as I could not reach it to open my window when the smoke alarm went off when I was cooking. No ice bucket, not sure if there even was an ice machine.

Smelled like a run down motel from the 1980s Furniture looked like they found it at a garage sale. I was there a total of 3 hours out of a stay from thursday Night to Monday morning. I want my money back!!! I went .7 miles away to la quinta inn. Immaculate rooms, staff is actually a person on site, not some guys face on a kiosk in some other country. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

I've stayed here probably 10 times over the last year. I know their staff well. Everyone there works as a team and that's an excellent way to get stuff done. The rooms improve each time I stay and it's easy noticing the effort the owners put in every day. In Sacramento, if you're looking for clean, comfortable and everything in the room was there and working for usually the best pricing around, plus you get a full size refrigerator and a 2 burner stove top and microwave. I'll be there again very soon. The lowest priced stay with kitchenette in Rancho Cordova / Sacramento .Most importantly, in the 30 + nights, I have never seen a bug in the place. And I wouldn't be there if it did.

Great room with kitchen, friendly staff, but limits stay to 28 days. Had to move out for 48hours before coming back again. We are staying there while the apartment is being repaired for water damage.

Seems as though this property was purchased st s discount due to the fact that it is very stressed, and no doubt did not expect this double digit inflation when planning the remodel. The lack of ammenneties anff Rd stressed condition of the property seems to be driving customers away, rich compounds the problem. I am certain these people are going to turn this property around.

Well they're starting to get to know me and I'm happy about that I like the fact that I get my deposit every morning when I leave That there no rooms with tubs anymore because I love to soak in the tub when I can

There were a few roaches in the hotel room but that is to be expected in CA. The room.itself was very clean, thevstaff was helful and friendly. I would recommend the hotel. Have already booked a future stay there.

Stayed for a week. This is my 3rd time staying for week. This time shower water never got hotter than lukewarm, if even that. Not once was my room cleaned by staff. Not sure if they even do that. The plus is that it's a quiet area and you should get a quiet night's sleep. Plenty of restaurants and stores close by.

The room was horrible..the stove was broken I tried to turn it on to cook my dinner and the knob was broken it was on high and I couldn't turn it off..there were homeless laying on the street in front of the building..I booked a week and stayed 2 nights..I have a 9 year old and have her on the weekends..this hotel is not safe for children..I felt like I was staying in the projects...will never stay there again...horrible

The night staff was very rude, even after paying for 2 weeks of stay, front desk called security saying i never paid, then added on a 50.00 security deposit. Something they didn't do when i first got to the room.

The hotel is the cheapest in area, so you get what you pay for. The staff is good. The area and rooms do need to be worked on. But again, it is what you are paying for. You will have a safe nights sleep. I will be back if I need a room for week.

Maids and managers will keep calling your phone and knocking on door, even after notification of staying or leaving. I gave it an extra bump in rating because I know this property just changed hands and the new owners are trying to turn it around. They were super nice and accommodating. The beds were clean and comfortable and it's a great value and good location. However the facility does need work which I know they are planning.

We had to clean the room before entering. We went to dollar tree to buy supplies to mop the floors. Surprisingly we only seen 2 bugs within the stay. There was nats and flys. Better than most places but if you're on a budget just deal with it. Beds were clean. Housekeeping was nice and came a few times during our stay. Having a fullsize refrigerator and microwave was convient. Maintenance fixed the electric stove stop so we can prepare meals. My family slept good here. This was the most affordable stay for our length of time near Sacramento. I prefer this area over nort natomas.

This hotel has improved some, it was worse when it was under another brand name/ owner. You can tell that they are making improvements. The room is VERY BASIC. Small towels, no shampoo, just two tiny soaps. My room's padlock was missing (just a hole) and the flap-type safety bar is missing too. so nothing to prevent someone from coming in if they have a room card.

Manager had no customer servic skills. he was rude at check in. No one came to offer cleaning or fresh towels. Did not specify diet charges olehen paying online for a week. And a staff member was very rude to my son and did not believe he was staying in a room and was made to show proof.

This is a clean, basic hotel, a good value for the money. My room was clean, had a small kitchenette, with regular size fridge, two burner stove top, microwave. The hotel used to be another brand, and I see an improvement in overall appearance.

They are really trying to remodel and upgrade the rooms and security. Always clean fresh towels on demand. Any issues and they are quick to fix or resolve. They a to please the customer

Room was clean but bathroom handle would fall off when I turned on water. Used syringes in elavator. Wa not asked about pets and unaware of 10 dollar charge a day for pet. And had to pay extra 70 at check in that I could not afford. Piles of garbage by office and could not understand employees we had language barrier.

Room had roaches in it. The shower floor top layer was lifted up when we check in. Ask to get another room and they had no rooms with 2 beds in it which what l needed. Even 2 days later I asked about again and the same thing was said. It seem like they did not make an effort to accommodate us and on top of that one of the desk people was rude when l brought the dirty towels down to get clean ones. Talk to me crazy and told me that they were too dirty and I used them for cleaning. They also changed the bedsheets with dirty ones and when they finished cleaning the room they didn't close the door completely.

The people there were very nice.Unfortunately , they just Took over the hotel So no ice Machine, And other things.

The room smelled. The floor was sticky, like it hasn't been mopped in years.

Karina - Front desk manager was nice and apologetic. She is was kept me from leaving.

There was obvious water damage to the floor in the bathroom, which was not repaired properly. The toilet was completely slanted towards the shower. There was no face towel, shampoo, soap, and the plunger in the sink was inoperable. The floor in my room looked like it has not been mopped in at least a month. Conditions of the hallways and elevator were reprehensible. I’m very surprised that the health authorities have not shut this place down yet. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

The room i was given was in the back of the facility and the hallways leading to it were filled with a horrible odor that i would relate to the smell of beer can recycling facility. I got to my room only to realize the interior door handle was missing so i was given another room with no soap or shampoo of any kind and no blanket, when i asked for a blanket i was told they were out and that people steal them.

There wasn’t a blanket on my bed. I had to go to Walmart to get a comforter. The office staff said there was only one housekeeper and nothing was washed.There was no cup in the bathroom. No soap in the bathroom. There was litter and cigarette butts everywhere outside. My room smelled of smoke, even though there is a sign that says there is no smoking on the property. The first room she gave me was full of garbage and other people‘s belongings. Overall a dump.

Don’t stay here. That’s all I’m going to say.

I got what I paid. Staff is friendly and responsive.

The property didn't look like the pictures. It was a disgusting crack hotel where junkies were lurking outside. It was a scary experience where we were terrified to step outside. It was a hectic journey to find our room as the hallways were winding. We ended up having to leave after 30 minutes as the places smelled terrible and had very shady people on the grounds. This hotel should not even be on this site, I would not recommend anyone to go there!

If you are traveling alone this is not the place to stay at..

Ppl at the front desk were inexperienced to say the least. Trying to check in took forever, and the whole time we were waiting we got to enjoy the profanity riddled conversation by the staff in the backroom at full volume! The entire establishment was absolutely disgusting! When i say disgusting i mean horrific smell of urine everywhere, trash left all over, dog excriment on the walk ways that no one ever cleaned up! Just over all filthy! The room wasn't clean, lamp was broken and hanging by a wire, fridge had no rails in door they were all broken off. No knobs for the stove burners. Found cigarette butts under the bed. Overall just nasty, unsafe, and to be honest a bit high in price for what you have to deal with

No soap and no cups. Who travels with soap and cups? I occasionally bring soap, but cups??? I got 2 from the front after she told me they weren't that kind of motel after I asked why there weren't any cups. The bathroom door had no handle on the inside. That meant getting locked in unless you were with someone, and limited privacy. The toilet was clogged. Needless to say, that wasn't fun. I have to admit, the kitchenette was great and the bathroom very large, but we didn't use the kitchenette. Why spend so much on infrastructure and skimp on soap, cups and pillows?

The Public Health Department Needs to be made aware of this place. They don’t clean the grounds. The rooms were cleaned poorly. I complained about the trash urine homeless people and nothing was done. I get the price but it shouldn’t take for you to stay at a Marriott to don’t have to see urine and filth as you go to you paid room. ALso it’s not safe the security door to the rooms is broken anyone can come and go. The stairs is like leaving in the projects. Graffiti flirt etc…I did call to complain nothing happened. I took a video. DO NOT GO THERE IF CAN AFFORD A BETTER PLACE.

Actually none. The place doesn't look like what's been advertised on line. Everything is opposite the place is so dirty, elevator is nasty and the stairs smell pee and some dog's poo. No soap in the bathroom and no blanket on the bed. There's no kitchen stuff. And what makes it worse they don't do housekeeping, when we get to our room there's some garbage from the previous people who stayed in that room. I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone at all. It's a shame.

There are people living in this hotel. Roaches, bugs, chewed up cabinet, burn holes in sheets and smelled of urine. Absolutely horrible.

The property was extremely dirty smelt like urine. The first room we got got only had a sheet on the bed which was stained. The floor wasn't cleaned. The air conditioner plug looked like a huge fire hazard and didn't work. The towels looked like shop towels and I'm pretty sure there's bed bugs The least of the problems was all the activity till early in the morning The rental agent at the front desk was very nice and accommodating when I requested another room

Currently in a tight spot with my mom. Home Towne studios gave us a place to lay our heads and cook decent meals for an affordable price. All staff were nice for the most part. The night clerk Sh’koyia really had a welcoming aura about her. She became my escape to get a breath away from my mom for a while during our stay . Hopefully I didn’t annoy her too much but she truly had and inviting demeanor & gave a listening ear as needed. I consider that over the top hospitality services

You get what you pay for the rooms are nothing special. There are no comforters on the bed. Just plain old sheets. The pillows smell like sweat. There's a lot of homeless people hanging around in an out of the rooms and all around the hotel. I almost didn't feel like my car was safe to be parked. Set a hotel because of all the getto thugs that were there.

I know the girl at the front desk is a mom doing her job but that location is completely unsafe and the fact that there was just some random guy sleeping in the lobby and she was like asking him to get out so she could close the door so she can leave her baby in the office is just be on me.
