The carpet in room was very wet, had to be moved to another room, also TV was disconnected from cable. Employee had to come from front desk move wall unit away from wall reconnect cables. Them we were moved to another room due to wet carpet

Very friendly staff and absolutely great place for our dog to stay. They treated him on like a king. Even had a small doggie bag.

Didn't have time for the breakfast, but the mat inside the room was dirty, the room smelled and was dirty and pillow was so hard I had a stiff neck for the whole day. Told my company no longer to book here ever again.

I thought the stay went well. I really do not expect great things during my stay. The room was clean, the water was hot. Breakfast is passable.I refused maid service as I was just staying 2 nights and was occupied elsewhere

Check-in was great, very friendly and efficient clerk. Room was not up to usual Hampton standards. Mattress was terribly uncomfortable. Air conditioner was so noisy we had to keep turning it off through the night. Sadly, only got about 3 hours sleep. Bathroom had stained wall paper, short on towels for 2 people, fixtures were rusty.

Great hotel! Super friendly, helpful, kind and happy staff. The indoor pool was super helpful. The rooms were really clean and beds were comfortable.

The toilet in our room was clogged in the morning and we hadn’t used it all night. I booked a double queen through Hotels.com, but when I got to the hotel was told that they oversold that room so we ended up with one king which was disappointing overall, the staff was very nice and pleasant, but I was disappointed in the condition of the hotel.

The breakfast was pretty good. Staff was very friendly. They charged you for parking. And charge you an security deposit which will be refunded in 7 to 10 business days, which was mentioned when booking.

Room was dirty as hell. Sheets where stained with what looked like blood and other stuff on it. The sofa bed dirty under it. You can tell no one vacuums under it or even moves it. Carpet is nasty as can be. Entrance to the room and bathroom had a half as to no mobbing done. The edges of the floor/corners had build up from poor cleaning. Pool had a grease looking coating over the top of the water. Im definitely not staying at a Hampton inn again. Or even recommending it at all!

Clean room, fridge and microwave were appreciated. No soap in shower but i always being my own anyway. We were in an accessible room which I hadn’t expected but it was all fine.

The Inn was fine, but I take exception with the fact that they choose to charge $15 for parking. I get the parking fee in a busy urban setting but this place is hardly in a downtown area. The parking fee was not advertised when I booked and if it were I would have booked someone else.

The room was great and my mom and I had a great time while there. We had a great location, close to the elevator and ice machine. The location is also great as it was in the center of where we were going. We had an issue with other guests. They were loud and eating/drinking in the pool. There were also some that were being loud in the hall and playing with the elevator and staff wasn't able to do much to resolve the situation. There wasn't much for breakfast and the area is too small. I would love to see more hotels with gluten free options too. I ended up eating something that had gluten and felt horrible all day.

good stay, reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area. Staff are always very friendly here, as well as helpful. Only issue I ran into was there was no body wash or conditioner in the shower, so please just check those after every stay. Thank you!

Staff was super friendly, but property is old and smells musty. Shower had great pressure and beds were comfy. Really good pillows and could log in to my Netflix on the TV in room. My 12 yo daughter wouldn't eat anything at the breakfast. Breakfast area is super crowded and small.

The breakfast selection was pretty good. I was extremely pleased with the cleanliness of the bathroom and bedroom. Those are the 2 most important things to me. The front desk staff was super personable, as well!

Quick access to our room. Covered drive up (raining). Breakfast was good. Fire alarm bell went off throughout the building, unexpected, no reason given, at about 10:45 pm, while in bed entering sleep mode.

Quiet hallways-my sleep was not disturbed by inside or outside noises. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. The bathroom was clean. There were plenty of towels. Good lighting in the bathroom. The room had a place for my suitcase. The hotel had a nice little exercise room. I used the treadmill the morning I was there. The equipment worked perfectly, the room was clean. Cold water from a machine was available-but there were no cups that morning. I filled my own water bottle. The breakfast was nice. The area was clean. There was adequate seating. No towel bars in the bathroom-only hooks to hang the towels and washcloth. The bathroom fan was very, very noisy so I didn’t use it. Lighting was poor. A good light next to the bed, a good small desk lamp and a good overhead light in the entryway. There was no central ceiling fixture. I I arrived late evening and left very early in the morning two days later. Seeing the contents of my suitcase was hard. That area of the room was very dim. I certainly didn’t want to put my suitcase on the other clean bed that I was not using but there I would have had the light from the lamps at the bed. No on had replenished the cup supply in the exercise room. The area is isolated. I did not have a car. I used ride share while I was there. If I needed dinner, there was no place within walking distance to get anything.

They never changed the bed sheets when we were gathering our belongings at the end of our stay, we checked the bed to make sure we didn’t leave anything and in between the bottom of the sheets were peanuts. We had snacks with us, but nothing with nuts were allergic. So that’s to say that the bed sheets were never changed

Breakfast was very good We had to move from the third floor to a room on the second floor because the TV did not work. The charged to park for a second car ($30 for two nights). I went to Tahoe and drove my own car up and back down to Sacramento and my husband came from Pleasanton to Sacramento! (an extra $15 per night to put a piece of paper on the dashboard)!

I had a small issue using my PayPal debit card for the deposit, but after moving some funds I was able to secure with my cash app card. I chose this hotel for the indoor pool so my daughter and her friend could go night swimming, and the pool stays open untill 10 pm. Overall l it was a good experience.

There was a mosquito in my room that I killed, but it did bite me. The staff was nice and the place was clean overall. I don’t like the sheet they have on top of the comforter it is scratchy. Their coffee was actually really good for being ripped coffee, but they didn’t have any dairy free options and I’m lactose for the creamer

We had a very nice stay. The staff was very friendly and very attentive. The complimentary breakfast was ok.. not the best but not the worst. Only part I was not happy with was being charged for parking.. they don’t have a garage or valet so why charge customers to park.

Overall our stay was nice. We fit free parking from the hotel staff because it was my husband's birthday. The only thing I have to say about the hotel is that they need to do better with the cleanliness of the rooms. Very nice hotel. Very nice staff.

The bed was comfortable enough. Although, we had to request more pillows. The T.V. viewing was NOT good. Dish network is NOT good ! I must say that the breakfast buffet was a disappointment ! There was hair all over the bathroom floor, like someone got a haircut in there. I was switched to another room and had the same problem in that one. The only offer was a lint roller to clean it up.

The rooms were clean mostly. Just some areas you could tell housekeeping doesn’t regularly wipe down like lamp shades, base boards, the tv etc. The towels and beds were good and clean tho. The beds are firm. Pillows are soft. Wi-fi isn’t free unless your’e a member. Parking is $15 per night. They also hold an additional $100 for incidentals but they refund it quickly after check out (they say 1-3 days but mine was back in my account 40 minutes after I checked out). The location is nice. It is right off the 50 so traffic is always loud. The staff there are wonderful. Very professional and friendly. The pool is nice. Breakfast is delicious and they have great breakfast hours (6am-10am).

As previously mentioned, the facilities were clean and the room amenities were in good order.

Shade and tv remote in my room didn't work but maintenance came right away to fix. I didn't like the open shower with no curtain. Floods the entire bathroom.

Enjoyed our stay

The hotel was very humid and not as clean as I would have liked. The pool had a lot, a LOT, of chlorine in it. It made my eyes red just to sit near it. The staff was great. The proximity to local shops and restaurants was fantastic!

The place it self was great. The staffing was good. The problem was the hotel manager not refunding me anything for a bad night. I came back to hotel around 1:40am and realized my room was flooded with water. Found out it was cause by another hotel guest in another room from their toilet water supply line. So my room smell like toliet water and flooded couldnt use the bathroom it was flooded water had to try and sleep with the smell and water. Ask for a refund and the hotel manager justify no refunds in my incident for one night. That wasnt cause by me. No one knew what happened til next day. Because it was late 1am. They kept it on the low. But just know the manager wont refund if any incidents happen. Everything else was great. But come on my first time there and there was incident cause by someone else. Like give me a break.

The warm greeting with a smile as we made our way to the front desk. Check-in was super convenient. The rooms were excellent. The front desk made sure we had a good stay at the Inn and kept in touch just in case we needed anything. The breakfast was A grade. I think if I keep writing then there'll be no end keep praising Hampton Inn. Thank you so much team at Hampton Inn. Excellent customer service provided. I surely will stay here in future on my next visit to Sacramento. Keep up the good work. Take care till the next time we meet again.

Good stay will stay here again

This is a great place to stay. We were very comfortable, especially after a very long trip to get there. The room was very clean. The bed comfortable The front desk staff were exceptionally and very welcoming. The breakfast was fine.

Hotel was nice, with an in-house pool, but crowded during certain time, only few options for breakfast.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Very clean and quiet surroundings. The food attendant was also very gracious and kind.

Good hotel. East parking

We enjoyed our stay… the only hickup was there were 4 of us.. only two towels in the room…(that’s ok… we can call for more towels in the morning) … when we called in the morning we were told they didn’t have more towels…😳 They did send us some pool towels… and the stay was great.

Overall a nice stay. Plenty of parking and pet friendly was a plus!!

Big crack in the wall mirror in our room with tape to hold it. Unflushed toilet with urine and a huge wad of TP. Sawdust and paint flakes all over the hallway. Poor selection of rip off priced snacks. Noise from the hallway and from the room above. Nearest convenience store is an 8 minute walk.

We left a very important possession behind after we checked out and the staff was quick on retrieving and keeping it safe until we returned an hour or so later. The service and hospitality were great. We also chose this hotel because of the pool and breakfast which was very much needed after a long vacation.

Hotel is nice and comfortable

Towel was dirty so I had to go to front desk to change it. The shower floor was even with toilet so water would run to toilet that would make toilet use uncomfortable with floor full of water after shower. The sink water would drop to floor as well.

Nice staff. Heated pool. You have to pay $15 extra for parking. Mediocre breakfast, good coffee. The floor in our room was dirty.

All of the staff were great, breakfast was great, our room was clean. The only downfall was the bed.. it was extremity firm and the bedding was a bit rough feeling.

Mattresses aren’t as comfortable as the used to be.

Great location and indoor pool my kids had a great time

Great little property. Clean, tidy, and great for families. The bed is not the most comfortable, but it worked. This was an affordable stay and worked well for what we needed.

The staff were all friendly and great , the free breakfast was excellent.

Bathrooms are a bit dated. The handicap shower sprays water all over the floor. Makes it slippery.

Upon receiving the room we were displeased. The bathroom floor had turf all over it and clearly was not vacuumed before it was handed over to us. The room stunk like sweat and dirt and just felt generally unclean. Not a fan.

Dated suite with remodeled bathroom was an interesting combination. Breakfast was early, which is great for my schedule with very hot coffee but the juices we watered down along with the oatmeal. Eggs, sausage, potatoes and waffles were plentiful but the bananas were over ripe, not the usual high standard of the other Hampton Inns.

I loved it here

Very convenient location. Less than 10 minutes to Mather Sports Plex. Small but nice indoor pool for swimming year round. Free hot breakfast is good with the make your own waffles and sausage, scrambled eggs and potatoes. Bagels, toast, muffin, oatmeal and cereal too! Only down side is you have to pay for parking.

I've stayed here before on business and it was a good stay then and an even better stay this time around. Check-in was super easy and quick and the front desk staff was professional and friendly. Our room was adequate and most importantly, the shower and water pressure was great! (We had problems at the La Quinta nearby). I would recommend this hotel. Good value and a pleasant stay. (Next time we'll try the indoor heated pool).

The biggest plus that I would highlight is the staff really prioritizes the customer. We booked through expedia and Expedia had made a mistake with our reservation. Hampton staff were kind and made best efforts to remedy the situation. There is someone at the front desk around the clock. If you are coming in late you can call the desk to let them know your eta and they will check you in with no issues. The place is clean, the beds are comfortable, and they serve breakfast every morning. I don’t have one complaint. Will definitely come back.

When we made reservations, the parking fee was not mentioned, we found out about it at check in. I feel like this information should be disclosed on the reservation page. There are signs in the parking lot that nobody is responsible if your vehicle gets robbed….yet you pay parking fee…

The room was not the cleanest. Bathroom especially. The pillows were awful. I had my kids with me and none of us slept good at all. The staff was amazing. Friendly and courteous.

Stayed at the property May, 2024, and it was great. 6 months later November 2024, it was a full 360 downward. Carpet was horrible throughout the property including rooms, elevator was horrific and both rooms after complaining about the animal odor both smelled like animal. This is what happens when hotels are pet friendly. I couldn't believe the downward turn this property took. The result, I did not stay and will never stay again.

Bed was old & creeky. Bathroom wasn't clean.
