The property was well located for us. Tucked off the main Capital Street, quiet in the evening but accessible to everything. Great up to date king room. Very clean, and modern,. Breakfast offered hot and cold items, coffee bar , fresh fruit and choice of cold juices. Would highly recommend for everyone, We would definitely rebook.

The workout facility was good. We asked for better pillows, and they provided us with those. We felt very unsafe at the location. We were asked for money on the elevator up to our room. The pillows were huge and very hard. Most of all, the location was not good at all.

The room was clean but the floor felt a little dirty. There were a lot of people who seemed to live there and gathered a lot at the pool area & were drinking heavily.

The property and room were clean and for the most part very well maintained. There was a lot of noise from outside rooms throughout the night. The glass shower door also didn’t close all the way, which made the shower leak. You can see there was some water damage to the the floor and outside door because this. The bed was SO COMFORTABLE!!! and the AC was fantastic. Also great water pressure in the shower!

I enjoy using the pool whenever I can and the [pool was open and clean and many chairs and loungers available. The breakfast was quality with some hot foods to enjoy and fruit available. Shower had really good pressure. Pleasant stay.

Parking was not safe, there were people loitering outside yelling and screaming, waking me up at 1:30am. They were looking into cars and hanging out in the parking lot. The rooms were decent, the beds were clean, I even checked for bedbugs and couldn’t find any. Overall, it was an average hotel experience at best.

I booked a King bed, but when I got into the room the door does not lock. I came and told the front desk lady and the way she looked at me seemed like I was annoyance. I am traveling by myself, and I want to be safe. She then told me there were no Kings available, so she offered to put me in a room with 2 double beds, luckily, I was only there for 1 night. The floor to the room was a bit sticky (so make sure you bring slippers) the walls looked like someone opened a can of soda after they shook it.

Our room had a strong cigar smell, which made it impossible to stay there. And since everything was booked we were not able to switch rooms. All our clothes was stinking like cigarettes next day. After talking to receptionist (Cassandra) next day, thankfully she was able to find a room to move us.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Convenient location, the staff was incredibly nice, it was great having free hot breakfast included every morning and around the clock coffee, and every part of the facility felt extremely clean and well capped. I would definitely recommend!

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The light switch and toilet seat were broken. Also when we arrived there were two police cars out front investigating a “misunderstanding.” I should have left then.

Breakfast is good. Gym is decent for workout people, it has enough weights, treadmill, bike and elliptical. I have stayed there multiple times. So far, the staff has been friendly and I don't have any issues for the price. For me the location is good, lots of restaurants, etc.

The elevator did not work well. There was a sign up about what to do if you got stuck in there. I just took the stairs after the first trip in the elevator. The gym was pretty small. Other than those things it was good.

Bed comfortable, hubby didn’t like the pillows because he likes thin pillows. Shower is everything ESPECIALLY if you like hot showers 😁 Staff awesome. Will visit again.

This was a quiet hotel, and it was a good stay, but some of the items needed updating, and the breakfast wasn't great. The bathroom door in our room kept sticking and made a loud noise if you tried to open it. The shower dripped constantly. Nothing was bad. It just needed some maintenance here and there. One of the elevators was out of service.

Easily one of the best, if not the best La Quinta I've ever stayed at. My room was great! My bed was very comfortable. My pillows were just the right mix of firm yet soft and there were several of them. As opposed to just 3 pillows on one king size bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful

However, the rest of the staff were courteous and accommodating, making up for the stolen charger. Initially, I had a noisy neighbor, but the staff promptly relocated me to a quieter room that was immaculate and comfortable. The hotel's proximity to Raleigh's amenities, including hospitals, restaurants, and entertainment, was a significant advantage. Additionally, the parking lot was well-lit and secure, making me feel safe. Overall, I was impressed with the hotel and would recommend it to others. Before choosing this hotel I actually visited 8 hotels in the same area. It’s amazing how gorgeous the other hotels looked on line. Different story when I went to visit the hotel myself. 🙂‍↕️

Theres no Hot Tub that I saw. The shower was amazing but there could have been brighter lights in the bathroom and the room. It was not really bright. The bed was also comfortable. I would stay there again.

Great staff, hotel was very nice. Breakfast was good. Perfect for value ?Naz at the front desk was very kind and helpful when I checked in. Good for a brief stop as a business traveler. Had laundry, fitness center, all the things that you would need. If you don't have a car, the area can be a little bit sketchy and not very walkable. Lack of sidewalks seem to be the theme around here. But you could still get to a nail salon, post office, and restaurants within walking distance.

The room was super clean and spotless! The ladies at the desk when we arrived were absolutely lovely, so friendly and kind. We will return.

Hotel was near and clean. Had a microwave and fridge, which made it good during a snow weekend. However, no one came to change towels or dump trash without asking. No one even cane to ask if the room needed to be serviced.

The room was great, however, the ceiling needed to be painted as it was cracked and looked like paint chips would start falling any minute. You saw the kitchen staff refilling the breakfast items. The front desk when we checked in had to wait on them to come up from the back room.

Ms Cassandra at the front desk is amazing! I had a minor issue with my room initially, and she fixed it immediately. The room itself was clean, bed comfortable, AC worked great, but Ms Cassandra really made it a wonderful stay after a very long drive!

The main issue is the shower has an inch of a drop off on the shower floor right where you exit, which seems very dangerous. Everything else was just so unkept. The breakfast was good, but the staff didn’t clean up as people left so the area was a mess. The staff was helpful, but not friendly by any means. That kind of a thing.

Its a very basic no frills hotel in the industrial part of Raleigh but close to downtown. Very little amenities nearby. The breakfast is decent. Rooms were clean but bit noisy between the rooms. Ok for a night or two stay. the washer was not working properly during my stay

We let the front desk know and they switched our room immediately but the new bathroom had the same issue as well.

The room was clean on the surface. After being in there for a few hours, I noticed it could use a deep clean. We stayed in room 309. There was no foul odors. The previous occupant left an earring on the bathroom floor. If the floors had been mopped and swept properly it would not have been there.

This property has modern rooms, absolutely loved the shower! Staff was super friendly and the guy that made breakfast did wonderful. The rooms were great! We thought this was a very dog friendly hotel, but when we arrived I was asked if they barked. When I made the reservation on Expedia, I never saw a place to mark that we were bringing two dogs. The only oatmeal available had sugar in it and all of the cereal was sugar coated as well. It was an ok place to stay - I would stay there again for one night.

Staff were kind, the room was clean. Breakfast was great. Only issue was that the shower water was coming out oddly and even though it was adjustable, it turned off when I tried to change it to the way I’d like.

The rooms have been updated and mine was very clean. Linens were nice and fresh. The only exception was the couch. It had a terrible smell and my black light indicated fluid so I didn't sit on it. All staff were very friendly and helpful and they all said hello when I spoke to them.

Did not use breakfast area. Room was in excellent shape. Front desk was helping someone in the phone with a bunch of cancellations, but she asked them if she could check me in. She was very efficient! Comfortable bed!!

I did not enjoy my stay at this property. My room door wouldn’t close or lock properly, which left my belongings unsecured when I went out for the evening. The toilet also did not flush properly, and the bathroom light blew out during my stay. I have video documentation of my complaints. Overall, the experience was very disappointing and did not meet basic expectations for safety or comfort.

First room had a couple small roaches, they weren't able to get me another room as there was no vacancy (understandable), the first two nights in that room were only bad because of the noise from other tenants and their dogs. Final night was in a better room until about 12AM when I was awoke to an extremely loud, rhythmic banging noise, likely coming from the laundry machines near my room. Apparently that was Laundry day because that ridiculously loud noise went off an on until 7AM. Overall, staff was great, the walls in the place are paper thin, the worst part about this hotel are the people who stay there

Room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. I would recommend a stay here.

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, shower was nice and had hot water. There is also microwave and refrigerator included in the rooms, the lobby was nice and clean, the front desk staff was friendly. The only cons I have are: The sheets and pillow cases did have stains but possibly could be better with the use of Clorox or other deep cleaning products. Also the elevator door is a little shaky so it does make you a little nervous but not terribly noticeable. Overall a great quick stay!

The hotel smelled good as soon as I walked in the door. My room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfy and looked like it had a matress encasement. The only downsides were I wish there was more overhead lighting, especially at the room entryway. I think the bathroom could use some updating or renovation. It was a small bathroom and I didn't like how the door barely had enough clearance to open.

Food was ok air was good

I stayed on the third floor. The only thing I could complain about is the TV, most hotels I stay at have a smart TV option so I can just log into my stuff, this one had the basic cable package and as weird as it sounds, it was hard to change the channel. They also offered Dove shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the bathroom, which my daughter absolutely loved. I have to come back for Raleigh next month and I will be staying at this location again.

Clean room nice staff

I stayed two days. After first day, housekeeping didn't service my room: They didn't make the bed, replace the coffee packets, or change my towels. Apparently they never even entered my room. Loud talking was coming from the hallway during the night; it seems from hotel staff because it occurred often during the night.

Property was well maintained and clean. Lots of noise from other guests and very early garbage collection made sleeping difficult. Area surrounding the property seemed somewhat unsafe.

In town for a soccer tournament. Clean, friendly staff, excellent breakfast approved by a 12 year old boy.

The staff was very friendly to work with our schedule for check in. We weren’t sure when we could check in due to unknown time of baby delivery at nearby hospital. They made it easy!

Only complaint is the blinds do not completely block out the lights in the parking lot, making it difficult to sleep.

I am giving an average review because of the front desk staff. Everything else was fine. Our room was on the 2nd floor just to the right of the entrance. A man who was not a guest at the hotel was parked right below talking very loudly after 10:00 PM. We tolerated it for awhile but I eventually looked out the window and he just waved. Unfortunately he was talking to the front desk staff who obviously knew the man so there was no point in complaining. After this continued for about 45 minutes I did call the front desk and asked that the man talking loudly below our window move on. The women at the desk said he was waiting for another guest and she would have him move. Why he couldn’t wait in the lobby or park elsewhere instead of disturbing the guests is anyone’s guess. Unfortunately there was no one at the front desk when we checked out or I would have let them know what happened. Front desk staff is the face of the company and this was poor representation for the brand and management.

You have to ask for a room cleaning, they won’t just do it, that’s fine, so I asked, but they never came. So I never got towels or had my room cleaned. My fridge was unplugged and I didn’t notice it when I arrived late so all my stuff went bad. My phone didn’t work. I had to call with my own phone and they said they didn’t have me listed on the property. I was in The room. Would never recommend

It was a lot of 304 action going on around the hotel and people sleeping in cars

I stay at this location often. And all my stays have been very pleasant. Rooms are good size and very clean. I love that they don’t have carpets. Feels like home away from home. I am usualy late for breakfast but when I wake up early I do enjoy it. Staff is very nice. All over I would definitely recommend this location of La Quinta Inn. Not all the same. I had bad experiences with different locations but this one is very good.

What I like is quiet and closeness to the highway. What I didn’t like that I will be charged $15 if I check in 1 hour before 3:00pm. Also I didn’t like the floor room was sandy. Wish if they include light fake clothe feet slip.

Quick stay for a great price!

Front desk staff was very helpful. Despite the pool being closed, they happily unlocked the gate so we could sit poolside and enjoy the cool evening with our dog.

This is our second time staying at this hotel and it has been great experiences, very clean, and staff was cordial. The only thing I would change is the very hard pillows.

Really enjoyed our stay at room 202. Beds were really comfy, heater/ac worked just needed to hold and release the gauge when going up or down, show great pressure and temp, very clean, delicious bfast: eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt, bagels, waffles and more, lobby coffee and water, friendly staff, nice gym, pool, large fridge, and my only noticeable thing was very slight wear of the hotel, but the chair in our room smelled of funk. Like shoes. But rest of hotel they pumped fragrance. Would visit again.

First, I called to check if i can check in one hour earlier, but the front dest wasn't even check for me just straight forward answer me said "no", about two minutes later a lady called me I guess is from booking department, because I was accidentally called them instead of front desk. she told me I can check in earlier. They have room available. Second, when I noticed all of their yogurt expired, I tried to let the kitchen staff know, but she doesn't understand English, so, I let my 10 years old daughter talked to the front desk, because I don't want anyone accidentally eat the expired food, but when my daughter told her the yogurt expired she just simply told my daughter to get the other one!

Very clean which is the biggest thing for me. Front desk was quick and not very friendly but not rude either. Only there 1 night so didn’t use other facilities. This is my 2nd time here. Will stay again.

The property appeared to be relatively new, perhaps 3-5 years old, but was showing signs of neglect in the rooms' cleanliness. In our room, the wooden floor was sticky.

We had the unfortunate experience of being next to a room in which the occupants stayed up past 2:30am - going in and out of the room, slamming the door, which reverberated off the wall/headboard of our bed, and talking so loudly that we could hear everything they were saying. They also had children that were up that late. When we finally called down to the front desk, the employee said they were aware and were about to come up - which was long after all the commotion got going (it started around 11:00pm). I know the hotel can't control for people's initial inconsiderate behavior, but this was egregious, we lost hours of needed sleep, and it ruined our experience.

It was a decent value. The bed was comfortable the room was clean enough. It was a little loud but it was fine for the price. The staff were very polite and helpful and I would stay here again if I needed to.

This looks like a nice, new hotel but it has issues. It was quite a disappointment. So much air freshener on the lobby floor, was literally sickening. The first day I commented and he unplugged it but the next 2 days, they refused to do anything about it. Hard to eat breakfast with that stench. The elevator glitches, so that’s fun. And the toilet makes a loud horrible noise before flushing. Cannot recommend.
