    The staff who handled the breakfast was amazing as well as housekeeping!! However everything else wasn't!! Checking in was not easy since the phones were down so couldn't get in contact with anyone for assistance. The carpet in room and hallways have many stains. The tub was so clogged & took hours to drain. The toliet continues to run after being flushed for at least 20 min. Then on top of that there is the construction and loud banging that's made it hard to sleep. Overall I wouldn't recommend or stay at this location again despite how good the staff was.

    I love staying at Homewood Suites at Crabtree. My only complaint is that the side door entry has been broken since my December stay (2025) … meaning that your room key ostensibly unlocks the door but when you use the handle, the door is still locked and won’t open. People have devised ways to keep this from happening, but that creates security issues. Please, Homewood, get the door fixed properly for the security of your customers.

    Was in town for a family event and traveling with other family as well who also stayed. My first room, we had those little white flies coming through the vent in the living room area and our toilet wasn’t keeping enough water to flush so we requested a room change. The staff was very accommodating and switched our room which had no issues. My only complaint is when booking, we weren’t notified of renovations going on. We only got a notification before check in on the Hilton app. I understand the hotel is going through changes for the better so I would definitely stay again once the renovations are completed. The breakfast staff was also very helpful and nice!

    In the morning, the breakfast was very limited, They didn't have any Decaf coffee out, no forks, no coffee cups. When asked about decaf, the staff said if we want some, he will make it???

    Location Everyday I asked for fresh towels and wash cloths to be delivered to my room. I received fresh towels delivered twice. There were times when I would ask the same front desk worker for fresh towels, I was told as soon ask they are done washing I would receive some. She never delivered them.

    Large room. Convenient location Staff during check out was extremely rude. Walked up to the counter to check out and the employee standing there never once acknowledged me. After a minute they just pointed to a basket that had a key card in it. Never once said thank you for staying there, have a great day, hi, get out, nothing.

    It is a hotel property that is actively in the process of improving. Staff is prompt with fixing or correcting an issue. During my entire stay, I've seen consistent improvement. No hotel is perfect and this hotel is aiming to make sure guests are well taken care of. It is really quiet, so rest is achievable.

    It is good for the money. This property is in the process of upgrading. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Management is very helpful and personable. It is quiet, so rest is possible. They are working to improve breakfast.

    Horrible stay, the toilet has a silent leak (flushing all night), the tub spout comes OFF!, the shower walls are cracked full of caulking, beds squeak. Hilton, i like your brand, so instead of spending my second night on room 407 I moved to the TRU up north which was much better. BTW the pool is a swamp.

    My issue the overall experience The hotel itself had an bad smell I had to bring air fresheners into my room and keep the windows during winter to air the room out The heating and cooling vents was nasty I did not want to turn on the AC unit for the Heat did not want to breathe any of nasty stuff. I visited the area quite often and I would never stay at this hotel again.

    Breakfast was inadequate. Everything was fried and unhealthy, no yogurt no fruits there were no coffee cups. The hotel ran out. All carpets and upholstery. Need a thorough cleaning. The stairway next to our room had a constant marijuana odor all day and all night long. Staff was seen sneaking smoking outside. All exterior doors were down and keys would not open them.

    New management changed their policy the day of my reservation. Would not allow me to check in and it was new year eve . Whether you live close or coming into town do not book ! The room smelled badly, it was not very clean, the ice maker didn’t work and the toilet wouldn’t flush. Maintenance came once about the toilet and then I just gave up. There was no coffee or any hot food twice when I went down for breakfast and it took forever to get things restocked. I would never ever stay at this hotel again. Maybe not even this chain. Only high spots were a morning front desk staff who at least apologized for how many issues I was having and another food server who snuck and got me a coffee cause she felt badly I’d been waiting so long.

We had three people staying in the room and requested more towels for 4 hours on Saturday. She took several plates of food back to front desk on both mornings causing the paying guests to not have any to enjoy. You need to train them better to treat your customers better before you lose them!!!!

    Customer service was good and the area was great. Very close proximity to nearly everything that was in the weekend plans. I loved the digital hotel room key and the convenience it was. Upon arrival, it was some leaking ceilings so it made me slightly nervous about my stay. Ideally for the price I was expecting my room to be slightly bigger than what it was. I booked a king suite with a balcony, however, very big rats were spotted from the 5th floor balcony. Made the stay slightly uncomfortable but because we were so tired and traveling all day we opted to stay and just ride things out and make the best out of it.

    Room is definitely lacking; the whole hotel needs to be renovated. It looks old and smelled old. Elevator was out and we had to walk all the way to the other side to use the elevator. Our bathtub got stopped up.

    Staff was very disrespectful and unprofessional. There was a mix up on their part of my reservation. Apparently there was another Stephanie Cooper and I was giver her reservation and she was given mine. The night shift came upstairs screaming for us to get out. Was very rude and unapologetic. When they realized that it was their mix up they were very nonchalant and dismissive. The next morning I spoke with management and I guess they spoke to her about it so she made up a lie on my mother and had us thrown out into the snow. I’ve never expect anything like this before . I’m dealing with chemo and my mom is helping me she is 71 years old. This establishment should be closed down. Drug use and everything else goes on there but we were thrown ours. Tell me how is that balanced? Anyhow I found a different Hilton and hopefully this will be better

Apparently there was another Stephanie Cooper and I was giver her reservation and she was given mine. The night shift came upstairs screaming for us to get out. Was very rude and unapologetic. When they realized that it was their mix up they were very nonchalant and dismissive. The next morning I spoke with management and I guess they spoke to her about it so she made up a lie on my mother and had us thrown out into the snow. I’ve never expect anything like this before . I’m dealing with chemo and my mom is helping me she is 71 years old. This establishment should be closed down. Drug use and everything else goes on there but we were thrown ours. Tell me how is that balanced? Anyhow I found a different Hilton and hopefully this will be better

There were no luggage carts, huge red stains on the carpet, and housekeeping didn't clean the coffee pot from the previous guest (terrible surprise first thing in the morning). The "kitchen" was subpar with no spoons and only one fork. There no condiments with the breakfast and the eggs were cold. One elevator was broken and the check in staff was rude.

First they didn’t have any extra sheets or blankets for our pull out sofa so we had to pull sheets off one bed and make due for two nights, then there was a water bug in our bathroom, most of the gym equipment was in operable and the final straw was when my husband went to work out at 530a Monday there was a homeless person sleeping in gym. There was never anyone at front desk and didn’t have a manager available ever but they did respond via text. I requested a full refund due to the inconvience and only credited me one night. Still fighting with Hilton to get reimbursed as this is so unacceptable. This property needs to do way better. For a Hilton property we were VERY disappointed

    The lobby, terrace and dining area nice. The rooms really old and not clean. The doors, the handles, the baseboards, the rails in the closet all are in real need of a good scrubbing for sure! I think the whole suite needs to be deep cleaned!

    Staff were extremely friendly. A few amenities such as the ice machine were not available and the breakfast are had a select few options. When we got into the room that we waited 15-20 mins for ( checked in at 6pm) the beds had yet to be made. It was about an hour until the rooms had to be made and then we did not have towels or wash clothes to shower and was told we had to come downstairs to get them ourselves. Overall would rate my experience 5/10.

    I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and after I requested multiple house keeping service to my room and repairs to toilet , they never came. They would come and just make the bed, never give me clean sheets and pillowcases after I’ve requested it multiple times.     The place is totally run down. Arrived the power was out. Dogs barking on our floor. Found dirty clothes and towel after room was cleaned. Pool not covered and pool area unkept with leaves and debris. A huge fallen tree sitting across the dumpster. Just really poorly maintained property for Hilton standards.

    The rooms are dated, carpets and furnishings were stained. The first set of room keys did not work for either room (had 2), had to get new keys and to open the door had to turn handle up, not down as normal. Attendant said they have issues all the time. (well then why are they not fixed?) When the AC unit kicked on it made a terribly loud banding noise every time, enough to make you wake up from sleep. The second day, went to the desk to get clean towels and was told until we brought the dirty towels back to the desk we could not get clean towels. Attendant refused to give my wife an extra towel only 2 allowed per room. I have NEVER been refused a towel in any other motel. Due to the AC unit cycling on and banging I got very little sleep, Very disappointed with the property and I will not go back there again.

    The room was fine, it was clean, the hallway looked under construction with wallpaper hanging off and floor trim pulled up, but it wasn't an issue. There was only 1 elevator working. The biggest issue was NO TOWELS on the final 2 days. They wouldn't make exceptions to policy and give us pool towels, they wouldn't give us towels from unoccupied rooms. Their concern was for people using the pools and new people renting rooms the next day. Well...WHAT ABOUT US?? We were there for a WEDDING and couldn't take showers!! Ridiculous!

    The property is in a corner with a very dirty outside entrance. Shady people walking around and 1 working elevator. Front desk people were kind upon checking in but not around whenever I entered.     I read reviews that were saying this was an awful outdated hotel. Yes it is a bit outdated but my room was way larger than I anticipated. One of the elevators still isn't working. The veil fan made a lot of noise if I turned it on high. My carpet in the bedroom portion of my suite was torn. The sheets are all that thick and the pillows weren't great. I would stay here again but would request the same room since I k ow what to expect.

    Cleanliness and property condition just ok. Staff likewise not stupid or hostile, but not really into their jobs. Kitchen in the suite had the standard minimum but want very nice. Water temp and HVAC worked well. One of two elevators was out, so the waits were longer than they should have been but not terrible. I somehow expected a better breakfast but it was pretty dismal two star standard. Bedroom door and some outside doors close but don't actually latch unassisted so they are often unlocked. Other guests were friendlier than in most hotels, greeting us in passing, in a nice way.

    We booked a two bedroom suite last minute on the way home from a trip. Room was pretty run down and furniture in common area was dingy and looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in years. The bathroom door in the king bedroom didn’t close at all. The door was damaged and swollen. The bathroom door in the other bedroom closed but was very difficult to get back open. Beds were ok but pillows were awful. It worked for the night but I definitely wouldn’t stay longer than that. From the outside of the hotel and for the price I had much higher expectations for this place.

    The elevator has seen better days. The side door was impossible to open. The pool was very dirty, pool furniture looked 20 years old. The halls smelled. We lost all water pressure at one point during our stay. The gym was located in the creepy basement and all the equipment is old. They had a peloton that did not work.

    Upon arrival, we awaited a lady to check us in. When we arrived at our 4th-floor suite, it was warm, even with the thermostat at 68 degrees! The fan above our bed ticked like crazy all night. We had only three total pillows, and they were very flat. I did not sleep well at all! At breakfast, we had egg pancakes & wedge potatoes. There was no protein (meat). Overall, it was not a very exciting stay. The pool was also filthy. We didn't even bother going down. Not what one would expect from a Hilton-run hotel. Disappointed.

    Maintenance guy told us the property hasn’t been touched or updated in thirty years and is desperate need of renovation and repair. Worst stay ever. Broken elevator. The one that worked was finicky. We walked up seven flights at one point. No air conditioning in the hallways, only the rooms. Rooms don’t get “hotel cold,” but at least have AC. Saw two roaches on our floor’s hallway. Mattress was a mushy trampoline. Zero support. Ceiling fan was clicking and clanking all night. Pool was filthy. Breakfast sub par. It’s a shame because the bones and grounds are good and was probably a really nice Homewood when it opened. We told the front desk about the lack of AC in the elevator and on our floor and she acted like, “it should be working,” but seemed completely uninterested and said “yeah people said it was up there lol” and when we told someone else they acted like they had no idea what we were taking about yet the very helpful maintenance dude said, “oh we haven’t had AC on the floor for a while now. They discontinued the fluid for the units. This whole place needs so much work.” Oh really? Then you should either be closed, disclosing the truth, or offering severely reduced rates.

    Upon checking in front desk personnel where great, but there weren’t any luggage carts to assist with a family of 4s 3 night stay except a broken one that someone tried patch back together with electrical tap, so we made do. After our check in the kids wanted to get in the pool, so off we went to the pool to find a very cloudy pool and trashy looking area, once the kiddos got out thank goodness we brought our beach towels because no one keeps up with that just like the pool. We return to our room that was hot because the AC wasn’t working and the living area floor was wet and squishy 2 feet out from the outside wall, I notified the front desk and the young lady said she would move us to another, so we collected our belongs and made 4 trips form old room to new room to move our belongings. But thank goodness the ac was working in this room and the king size bed slept well, but of course I had to to the front desk aging at 11 pm to ask for bedding for the sofa sleeper where our 2 small grandsons would be sleeping and more towels because they left 2 towels for a room that sleeps 4. Saturday morning we go down stairs to get our breakfast and of course it too was not being kept up with us and had to wait twenty minutes for stuff to be restocked but the coffee was good and off we went to spend time in angier to spend time with family, on Sunday we went to church with family and run a few errands, upon returning took kids to pool it stunk like fish and was cloudy ew and there’s more

    Property is o where near what they claim online. Doors all falling off showers dont work carpet is disgusting, beds are horrible had to sleep on the floor and had a better sleep that way, had no towels in either bathroom or toilet paper called and they made me come down from the 5th floor to get them myself, will NEVER come to this hotel would rather sleep in my truck or under a bridge.

    Upon check in the staff were not welcoming or accommodating. The hallways smell like urine. The elevators are not air-conditioned and staff will jam in there with a cart which would be okay if there is room for thr cart. Room was clean enough, only 3 pillows. Bed linens were rough, piling could definitely be refreshed. Mattress is also super lumpyThe fan is appreciated in the room but was loud due to being loose. Outsidr area was lovey. Pool chairs are FILTHY. Pool also needs to be cleaned more often. Power outlets in thr lamp were loose/unstable. I stayed at the double tree across the street last night and switched because this site has a pool. I will go back to my usual non hilton hotel further down Glenwood- cleaper, cleaner, friendlier staff. Also there is a family reunion they are great but the chicken/fish truck could have been in the parking lot. As someone with a severe allergy, i would have preferred to be notified with simple signage so i could have entered/exited from a side door, hopefully the smell dissipates before breakfast and breakfast does not disappoint. I'd like to be contacted to discuss growth points or any possible misunderstandings, I do prefer leaving positive reviews. I would have gone to staff directly but the staff at the desk weren't welcoming.

    My room conditions were very good. It had comfortable seating and bedding. It was clean. The shower worked great and did not leak water all over the floor when the shower was in use. I did have a hard time sleeping the first night with the air conditioner constantly cycling on and off. It was loud but I must have gotten use to it. The staff was very friendly especially the person in charge of the breakfast, however, breakfast just was not very good. It is probably the typical hotel breakfast but it is just not that appetizing

    One of the two elevators was broken which made for longer waits in this 7 story hotel. Sometimes 2 cycles needed due to the elevator being full. The working elevator was slow, but the doors closed too quickly - the timing needs to allow for people exiting the elevator to move out of the way.

    Most of the staff was pleasant but 1 was not, he was rude and short. I sent my daughter to get towels since there were not enough in the room for the 4 of us. The front desk gentleman told her there weren't any. She cam back to tge room and I called he then said he'll let housekeeping know and they'll want the ones back that were used. I told him to make surevthere was 4 towels then since we may want to shower the next day. He hung up. The ice maker in the freezer didn't work, the stive top was nasty, there was some sort of sticky mess on the ottoman and pool was dirty, cloudy.

    There’s also a large pool in the backyard, set in a very photogenic spot surrounded by nature. While it wasn’t perfectly clean, our kids swam and had a great time. In the evening, it was just lovely to relax and watch the fireflies – a peaceful and memorable experience. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful and included in the stay. A special thanks to the cook – she puts real care into her work, goes above and beyond for each guest, and truly made our day.

    Maintenance seems to be lax multiple guest in our party had rooms with water damage or standing water, musty smells associated with water damage. Elevators were having issues. Some of the electrical outlets and phones didn’t work in our room but overall seemed nice.

    The property is in need of renovation & updating. The lobby is very nice but the rooms were sub-par. The elevator had been out of operation for more than a week.     We have stayed in multiple Homewood's because they have been consistent; except for this one. The entire hotel beeds to be updated and repaired. Breakfast hours were 6:30-9:30 but there was little to nothing left by 8:30 with nothing being replaced even though there was still an hour left. The room had a light with a switch we couldn't find so we had to unscrew the bulbs, the kitchen area had the basics for plates and utensils, but not enough if you needed to prepare even a small meal in your room. The location was convenient but otherwise, disappointing from a name we trusted.

    Check in was supposed to be at 3:00 but we couldn't check in until 5. Room wasn't cleaned well. Dirty bar of soap in the shower. Breakfast was not good. The orange just was watered down, no cream cheese for bagles, biscuits were hard. Door to room was loose. Didn't feel safe.

    Not a five star review because of the front desk staff customer service. We arrived close to midnight and staff member walked out from behind a door with a pleasant look on their face, literally until the moment we made eye contact. From then on they were dry, short, and appeared annoyed. Not sure what provoked the change.

    The staff were so friendly but that is the only nice thing I have to say. The room was disgusting. The first thing we walked into the room a piece of wall trim fell off the wall and scratched me all down the back of my arm, the carpet was dirty, the shower had mold and mildew in it and the exhaust fan was falling out of the ceiling. Then when we were walking out the side door two rats ran in front of us. We rented this hotel to be able to enjoy the pool and it was completely empty. We were so very disappointed.

    The room was adequate. I thought since it was a Hilton, it would have a higher standard. Everything was clean, the staff was friendly and it was quiet. However, the air conditioning did not work well and it was not air conditioned in the hallways. Made for a musty smell. We had to rearrange the room to get the sofa bed out, which made it a challenge to get around the room.

    The property is dated and needs a lot of updates and overall maintenance. The biggest issue for us was the weird humidity and mildew smell that they tried to cover up with green tea essential oils. The room itself was hit or miss on cleanliness: mold in the shower caulking, dead bugs in the windowsills, thick dust, and stained carpet, walls and furniture. Deadbolt didn’t lock, we had to put a chair against the door for a minimal security measure. Additionally, we weren’t told about any youth sporting tournaments. At 11pm on our 2nd night, our neighbors arrived and I woke up to my headboard shaking from children going wild in the next room. I reached out to the number provided for help but didn’t have a lot of success. Only one questionable elevator. The pool was overly cloudy with chemicals, not well maintained, and landscaping was overgrown. The mattresses were terrible. Only 1 waffle machine. The staff was so nice though and brought linens for the sofa bed. Really, if they weren't so nice, we would have given less stars.

    The hot water only worked once a day and that was in the morning between 8am-12pm so it prevented us from being able to take a shower once we got in and settled for the night. The stove in the unit was broke and didn't work, the elevator was broke on one side of the building so we had to walk to the other side or use the stairs to get to the top floor.

    However, there were a few issues that affected our stay. The windows in our room didn’t close completely ( room 612) , and the outside noise made it difficult to sleep. We also didn’t have enough towels or any bedding for the sofa bed, even though the number of guests was clearly indicated in the reservation—we had to request both. Additionally, the Hilton app check-in feature was useless, which was a bit frustrating. Overall, the hotel has great potential, but a few details need attention to improve the guest experience.

    Staff was very friendly, however the hotel was not worth what I payed. The pictures were very deceptive. The entryway was nice, and smelled delightful, however the elevator was my first red flag. My room smelled so bad as soon as I walked in, dingy and old. The ceiling was falling, the floors were stained with what looked like blood and other things. The walls were stained with finger and hand prints. And worst of all, ROACHES! The room was gross. I didn’t even want to sit on the couch. Or lay in the bed. The front desk was kind enough to offer me another room, but I just wanted to leave. I hope they can make some updates, it was 100% not worth what I payed.
