The location was amazing as far as being able to walk to events and grab something to eat. The problem was people walking by very noisily all hours of the night, as well as, trash trucks and vehicles. While the air conditioning was very cooling it was so loud it kept waking me up and eventually I had to turn it off to sleep.

Parking was safe and convenient

The water does not get hot, ac is old and very loud in the room. The toiletries were all empty.

We loved how clean the hotel was & how close it was to NC State’s campus. The parking garage was also attached to the hotel with plenty of parking so that was super convenient.

Also, I discovered that our room phone did not work when I needed to call the front desk.

The hotel was clean, staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious. Perfect if you are spending time at NC State as everything was walkable. Good restaurants were just a short car ride away.

Staff friendly. Paid extra for a suit. It was located directly in front of the clock tower which went off every hour. Also super busy loud street during the day and night. The cleanliness of the was pretty average as well

Really enjoyed my stay. Staff was very friendly and kind. One thing I was not happy about was the shared microwave. Having to leave my room to go downstairs to warm up my food was a little inconvenient. A few other residents had to wait in line to use this one microwave in the entire hotel. Honestly think that problem needs to be adjusted. Otherwise I enjoyed my room and especially the ease of parking.

I was a little annoyed that heaters weren't turned on the patio, and when I asked if they could be turned on, I was told it would happen under 51 degrees, yet it was about 45 outside. I was surprised to also have to pay $15/day to park! It was in walking distance or a short drive to a lot of shops in the Village District which was nice, but I would probably pay the same to stay at a more inclusive spot next time.

We've stayed here before. The location is perfect for us. Nice of you of the clock tower close to everything. Great little coffee shop downstairs staff was great. We bring our dog absolutely no problem whatsoever. Plenty of places to walk. I'm not complaining but I must say the TV remote had to be the hardest I've ever used. Me or my wife could figure it out. Other than that, loved it

The shower didn't get warm until we complained to the front desk. The parking garage was closed at the front desk level, which made us nervous about the safety of our vehicle.

Clean, quiet room. Close to restaurants. Gym was decent. I was on a higher floor and opposite from the bell tower, and didn’t hear anything (per some of the reviews I’ve read).

I liked everything, it was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. It was easy to maintain a steady temperature too. Slight sign of mold in the shower stall, only in the grout. It was barely visible though.

Check in was easy. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The hotel bar and lounge was also very welcoming and there was lots of space for relaxation while sipping a cocktail. Parking was a bit tight and we had to go to their overflow which was on the side of the building but overall this was a good experience. I would stay here again.

Modern Shower has horrid pressure. The AC units in the rooms sound like a train. It is 2025 why are hotels using AC units from the 1980s?

The shower in our room was broken and the room with the shower had no place to put your towel or clothes other than on the floor.

The place was clean, bed was comfortable. AC was horrible as well as the stuff. I have never stayed in a hotel where I was not greeted or talked to. No one ask how was my stay, did I like it. No one say bye have a great trip and we hope to see you again. Very disappointed. Do better Marriott. Don’t hire kids that don’t know how to work in customer relations. Awful! AC was not existing. Literally. And we stayed here in July. It’s NC please have good AC. Stuff was horrible.

The food ideology is extremely outdated. Oh- and there's no indication how much any of the food items cost.

We were there Thursday through Sunday, and despite the fact I requested it, there was no service in the room. I had to get towels from the front desk myself. The swimming pool was closed as was the weight room.

After traveling for 4 hours, my room wasn’t ready at check in time. I waited 30 minutes and after getting my belongings up to the 6th floor and ready to relax, I open the door and it’s still dirty from the people before. I’ve never had that experience in my life.

The air conditioner in the room is an old fashioned amana-style box from the 1990s - the size of a low bookcase. It was extremely loud- unusable at night when trying to sleep. I’d stay somewhere else next time.

The carpet was really stained and stuff looked dusty.We were in the suite.

Property is very well located, particularly if you are planning to visit NCSU. On main transportation line. Staff were very fiendly and helpful, including in addressing a couple of special requests. The property does need some updating in decor and things like carpet. There was a very loud fan/vent in the 6th floor hallway. The lobby bar is excellent, if a bit pricey (which is probably typical of a hotel bar). Overall a very good experience.

Service was attentive, room and clean and comfortable, view was outstanding.

I was not impressed with the look or condition of the hotel. The flooring seemed worn out, the air conditioning unit kept us all night by going on and off. It was loud and not well regulated. The room was really small and the price was really high.

This is the second time I have stayed here. I love how close it is to NC State and my student’s apartment. Its location allowed our family to enjoy so many of the restaurants on Hillsborough. The parking garage is very convenient. Honestly, my only complaint is that the air conditioning is extremely loud and wakes you up every time it turns on and off.

It is convenient to allow access to Pullen Park if you have small children and walk to Cameron Village. Overall, the rooms are not updated and show age.

Our day was absolutely amazing! We came for a basketball tournament and the hotel staff were extraordinary. Their service was impeccable. The rooms and beds were comfortable and clean and just provided a wonderful weekend stay for our family. We loved the location. It was close to shopping and dining. We could not ask for anything more. This will definitely be our go-to place when we come to Raleigh.

Everything about the hotel and stay were great except for the hot food order. The cook was nice but it took forever and unexpected ingredients were added to make up for things they were out of without asking. But the ingredients seemed to be of decent quality.

The staff at this Aloft were some of the best and friendliest I've ever met. Between the desk crew, the kind bartender, and the guy doing maintenance who said hello, I felt like they really prioritized customer service.

Such a comfortable and luxurious feel to this amazing hotel! My girlfriend and I had a wonderful room with a great view, and not to mention the staff was incredibly helpful and well-mannered. Drinks were great at the bar in the lobby and the location was perfect! 10/10!

Room was ok. Had a mini fridge, but no microwave. Bathroom grout needs to be cleaned better. Empty alcohol bottles were left under table by elevators. Front desk staff (at checkin) were not very friendly and did not inform me that you had to use your room key to access the elevator. Maintenance staff were very professional, helpful and friendly.

Our only issue is that the windows are not thick enough of sound proof to mitigate the noise that’s outside. We couldn’t get any sleep the entire night. Let alone the morning.

After coming here routinely for downtown events for around 10 years since you’ve been open, will not be returning. This hotel was too overpriced at $600 a night. That’s how much I paid for a cliff-side, island, 5 star hotel on our honeymoon. This is Raleigh. No parking (when paying extra $44), it was noisy until 2am due to location, some of the shampoo dispensers were completely empty, poor bar selection, front desk staff were always distracted and required help.

This is our go-to hotel when we drop off or visit our son at NCSU. Location can't be beat, clean, modern, super friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean and quiet. We absolutely love the lobby which has huge sliding doors that open in good weather to balcony overlooking the NCSU Bell Tower. Pool table, board games and a really cool bar. Check it out.

Rooms r small and carpet needs replacing. Also some floors had residents Bar lounge didnt open until 4. Many of these thing probably due to proximity of college

Many things I liked about this hotel--very clean, fun decor, and friendly staff. But it was a steep price for a three start hotel. I liked that I could purchase breakfast in the hotel and coffee is free, but neither was very good. And if you're trying to be eco-friendly, get rid of the plastic water bottles in each room.

Thr rooms are a little tired, they could use some freshening up. The bed linens were very wri. The price for the room was expensive!
