    Hotel is being updated with new everything from top to bottom so what has been completed looks great albeit the construction dust on the floors which will only last a short while. Loved the new walk-in shower, new carpet, new remote controlled window shade, new TV, new linens, and so much more, including newly paved parking lot and new pool furniture. Updates are in the final stages. We are not great breakfast eaters so cannot review the breakfast fare.

    We loved this hotel. We only stayed one night but the staff was super friendly and the rooms were very clean. It is a bit away from civilization it felt like but that wasn't a deal breaker.

    Location to where we are visiting Wasn’t told that major renovations were going on. Didn’t receive the room that was originally chosen by the hotel for some reason so had to take a downgrade because the husband wanted to stay on the first floor for access to the coffee bar. However when he went to get coffee it was all cold (including the not water for tea) maybe because of the renovations. And lastly our bathroom smelled like a sewer and the smell got immeasurably worse after flushing the toilet.

    Facilities Tube shower did not have a nonslip mat it it and tub was very slippery. My wife slipped and almost fell, but did not. You might wish to invest in sometime to prevent slippage.

    The location is convenient to the I-10 interstate. It’s clean, well maintained and it seems safe. The bed was very comfortable! The bathtub fixtures were a bit wobbly, but other than that, it was really a nice place to spend the night.

    The front desk told me that my room, number 323, had been renovated. But it had not been done properly: the air conditioner left a hole such that there is tremendous noise from the highway. It was exactly as if there was a window open. It was impossible to sleep. The bathroom had also not been fixed up, although that is a minor complaint compared to not being able to sleep.

    The hotel and all it's facilities were clean. Everyone was extremely friendly and courteous. The hotel was having work done which didn't bother me or disturb me at all. Whether it was current or previous work the hotel some very poor work done to it. The bathroom door in my room would not stay closed be the knob was a full inch off from the cut out that keeps the door closed. The elevator was a visual mess from what appeared to unsatisfactory prior work, looks like it had been that way a long time.

    This property currently does not live up to Hampton standards in any way. The lobby has half-laid tile with separation stakes still sticking up—an obvious safety hazard and an accident waiting to happen. That alone should be unacceptable. Adding insult to injury, the nightly rate is wildly out of line with the condition of the hotel. Charging full price for a property in this state feels unreasonable at best. I’m also very disappointed in Expedia for representing this hotel with photos that clearly appear to be from when the hotel was new—or idealized renderings of what it hopes to be. What’s advertised does not match reality. I’m a loyal Hampton customer, which makes this experience especially frustrating. This property should either significantly reduce rates during construction or close until it can meet the standards Hampton is known for.

    It was under construction, and I had to pay full rate which was totally unfair makes me think about not using Booking.com ever again It was under construction and torn apart. There was workers heavy equipment. In the way we couldn’t park my moving truck.

    Inside rooms with hallways No food or restaurants right by the hotel. Had to go about 5 miles into Quincy for food. Complimentary breakfast was not great. Hot food was lukewarm. Bakery was just so so.

    I am a hhonors club member. I had spaced on registering as such. I am usually quite pleased with Hilton properties. Perhaps I am used to staying in their Club level rooms? We had a pet with us. The pet fee was $50. Twice what we paid at a different chain the nite before. The room had a strong smell of whatever cleaning agent they used. Our pet sleeps in a portable kennel. I assume they needed to clean the room for some issue. The plumbing fixtures were loose in the shower and the tub did not drain at a rate fast enough to keep up with the water from shower. They need to flip their mattresses in the room. The elevator door closes very quickly and hit my wife as she was entering. Quick so ok once you know what to expect. The hardest part of the stay was the fire alarm in the wee hours that startled us awake. The good side is it is amazingly effective for waking you up. Bad side is it is difficult to sleep when your heart is racing. It was a false alarm caused by an automatic environment monitor. I assume it has been rectified. This stay just wasn’t up to the standards I would expect from Hilton or Hampton. I have stayed with their brands many times and see this asa one off bad experience. I would stay there again as the other things I saw made me think what we were experiencing was unusual. The staff were great ,friendly ,pleasant,helpful even in the middle of the night. The morning coffee and breakfast area was well done. The grounds.lobby and parking were very good.

    I needed an overnight stay that would be close to Tallahassee. We stayed one night. Check in was easy and the clerk was professional and cordial. It is right off of 10 and there was nothing around it. I had to drive into the town Quincy which seemed unsafe. Very few places to eat other than McDonald’s and sonic. The hotel was clean as was the room . The bathroom ceiling had water damage. The furniture was dated. Normally I don’t complain about these things but I’ve stayed at Hampton inn and know the quality they are capable of. This is why I paid more. The breakfast was good and checkout was easy.
