The room smelled like roach spray. The tub had hair all over it. I understand the price was low but so was the effort of the upkeep. Sanitation is a must these days.

The room was decent, had children in the above room running and jumping and screaming most of the night .

Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Had to get a new key every night, not sure why the key system wasn't working. Had no shower curtain, even though I asked every day. Room could have used a good pressure washing...

Room was nasty, floors were sticky and the bedding was dirty. The pillow was yellow! There was not even a microwave in the room and the toilet paper roll was used and in the floor. DO NOT GO HERE

After returning to the office, I was reassigned to what I was told was one of their “nicest” rooms. That was honestly alarming given the condition. The door was damaged, didn’t fully close, and the security latch was broken, which made the room feel unsafe. The TV and remote were also unreliable—we had to unplug the TV just to turn it off. The room had a very strong bleach smell that lingered for hours, which made it clear it had been heavily cleaned, but it didn’t make up for the overall condition. Beyond the room itself, the general environment of the property raised serious concerns. There was a noticeable amount of suspicious activity, and it did not feel like a safe or well-managed place to stay. I would strongly caution others before booking here.

No breakfast, location near busy highway This was the worse place i ever stayed, bathroom ceiling paint was chipping and falling on the floor. Commode seat was to big for toilet, electrical socket were broken, cigarettes burns in bed cover! I told the owner/manager that they need to shut the hotel down! I am also going to report them to someone in VA. It was terrible! I do have pictures, but not sure how to send to yall

I called ahead to see if I had to pay a security deposit for the hotel and the front desk clerk proceeded to tell me that she had to cancel my reservation because the rooms did not have working air conditioners, and she would provide a refund and then the next morning when I attempted to get my refund the front desk staff blatantly lied and try to deny my refund saying that I could’ve checked in and they would’ve helped me with the air after threatening to sue them. They finally gave me my money back.

Absolutely the worst service ever. There were poop stains on the sheets when I tried to cancel they locked me out of my room and only refunded 3 of the 4 nights.

My wife and I had a terrible experience here. We booked the room as a non smoking room only to get there and have the room smell heavily of cigarettes. After seeing the state of the room, we decided to not stay the night and ask for a refund. While talking to a receptionist, they claimed that the smell was from the upstairs neighbors and brushed it off when I brought up the burns in the sheets. They then refused to give a refund and would not budge. Don’t stay here if you want an enjoyable trip.

Was able to book last minute. AC worked well. No lamp, no trash can, toilet ran entire time and dresser drawers wouldn't stay closed.

Very Accommodating and Close To The Venue For My Event

Privacy, amenities, and very good value. Staff was passive aggressive, lots of bugs, and the fire alarm goes off in the middle of the night on some nights. It can take a while for them to shut it off, and there are no refunds.

Hotel was close to the wedding I was attending. Check out was easy. Sent me to a room that wasn’t ready - door was open, trash still there, sheets undone. Put us in a different room. The sheets and towels had stains on them.

First off the hotel tried to check me in by charging my credit card that was on file before I was even there to physically Check-in. Because they could not charge the card. I had on file to hold the reservation. They canceled my original reservation. While in route to the location For my Stay, I had to panic and redo a new reservation in order to get a room for that evening. Otherwise I had nowhere to stay. After checking in the room was in poor quality floor was sagging. Lights did not work no towels to take a shower, The TV was broken and would only be on one channel. I could not turn TV off without physically getting up and turning it off. Overall, the money I spent was not worth even $20 for that stay. They are not supposed to check you in until you are physically present. And they tried to charge the card and check me in when I hadn't even left my home yet. Therefore, because they were unable to charge my card. They canceled my reservation. Had I not called to let them know I was going to be late. Additionally, I waited 30 minutes for the office manager to get off her phone as she was conducting a personal conversation before she would help me. When she finally started tge check in, she acting like they could not find my reservation because they didn't want to honor the price then because the price was so low online they charged me a $25 deposit. The towels in the room were dirty the Bed had stains on it and was dirty

The heater in the room didn't work. The drain in both the sink and the shower were clogged and I had to buy drain-o and cleaning supplies to make it sanitary enough to shower in. Everything!! Spent 70$ didn't stay longer than one hour. Tried to get her to fix the lock or move me and she told me to rebook knowing it would charge me again if I don't get my money back from booking.com I'm going to start a class action civil suit.

Walked in and the room was okay, nothing fancy when staying in a motel. However, walked in the bathroom to the bathtub full of milky water… Told the front desk that it was stopped up, even took a picture of it to prove it, and was told that it would be fixed the same day while I was out. Came back and it wasn’t. Luckily, I could wash my hair in the sink, which wasn’t a big deal. Just wish that management would take better care of their rooms.

I had a reservation there I went into the room someone else was sleeping in the bed went back down to the check in office I got stuck in the office over 10 minutes due to the main door had locked me in couldn't get out I went into Panama mood ASAP the manager had to uncrew the lock off the door,3 incident was when i got off work i wasn't able to get my room due to the door messed up I went into another room this was the 4th time I went into another room thus was was moody,smell urine,plus it's was under rentavation.i asked for a refund i was told that I couldn't get no refund. I went to another hotel in paid more with better service there. Please don't stay there it's very poor Expedia will allow them to put in false information for the property if you looking what you see its not what you are getting...

The room in general was very run down. there were only a couple outlets, the bathroom light did not work and the cover was off with exposed wires. The tub was very nice but the door had to remain open to shower. The tv/remote did not work. we could get the tv to turn on but had no options for stations. the 1 outlet by the bed was closer to the window than the bed, and our things would not stay plugged in. There were cobwebs in the corners. Overall was not impressed. Would not recommend this place to people.

I would not recommend this establishment for accomodations. The staff does not answer the phone when you call.The room was dirty, the air conditioner cover fell off the unit, the toilet paper holder fell apart from the wall... not to mention 2 big roaches sighted in the bathroom! Apon our arrival for check in it took staff 20 minutes to even help us.We called from the room at least 4 times to complain, but never an answer. We were charged a $50 deposit when we got there... I had already paid for the room prior to our arrival! Not happy at all! Do yourself and your family a favor.... book somewhere else!

There were roaches, sewer flies and spiders in the room. It smelled awful. The fridge was leaning and also had bugs in it. The tv did not work. The floor was sticky and dirty. I went to the front to be moved. The second room was better, but still had an awful smell. One of the beds had cigarette burns in the blanket. The bathroom door was damaged at the bottom and taped together. The aesthetic of the outside just looked run down and unkept. It is across from a recovery center so I believe some people live here as well. The parking lot had broken glass in it. The front door of the “lobby” was broken. It was just overall terrible. My kids didn’t even want to take a shower. I will never stay here again.

Upon doing research on the internet for pet friendly locations this location was recommended. I booked on hotels.com and proceeded to check into the hotel. After traveling all day I failed to see the sign on the window "no dogs" I assumed all was well seeing how the website specified "pet friendly". I was never asked if I had any dogs nor was it addressed online for an additional fee, of which I would have paid. I got settled and while bringing my dog (boxer) into the room, my boyfriend was approaching the room when the lady in the office (red box braids) yelled. "Y'all gotta check out, you can't have dogs here". Meanwhile he enters the room to tell me we have to leave. We immediately started to make other arrangements to take our babies elsewhere. About 10 minutes lapsed when there was an extremely hard bang on the door. Upon opening there was a black car with 3 occupants and the office manager. My boyfriend trying to explain we were preparing to take them somewhere. She was very demanding and aggressive outside the door. Telling us it was too late and she was deactivating our room key and evicting us. Upon doing research on the internet for pet friendly locations this location was recommended. I booked on hotels.com and proceeded to check into the hotel. After traveling all day I failed to see the sign on the window "no dogs" I assumed all was well seeing how the website specified "pet friendly". I was never asked if I had any dogs nor was it addressed online for an additional fee, of which I would have paid. I got settled and while bringing my dog (boxer) into the room, my boyfriend was approaching the room when the lady in the office (red box braids) yelled. "Y'all gotta check out, you can't have dogs here". Meanwhile he enters the room to tell me we have to leave. We immediately started to make other arrangements to take our babies elsewhere. About 10 minutes lapsed when there was an extremely hard bang on the door. Upon opening there was a black car with 3 occupants and the office manager. My boyfriend trying to explain we were preparing to take them somewhere. She was very demanding and aggressive outside the door. Telling us it was too late and she was deactivating our room key and evicting us. This place has non running partially dismantled cars in the parking lot (more than a couple). The rooms are outdated. There were visible holes. The bed coverings had several obvious cigarette burn holes. You might say I could have asked for another room but I highly doubt it would have been any better. This is not a place I would recommend at all. I am not extremely picky like some but this was definitely not a good choice. I knew it was not the Hilton but this doesn’t even deserve the ratings it has been given.

This property was disgusting. There were roaches in the room and in the lobby when checking in. No closet to hang your clothes, no hangers, the fridge was at room temperature, no place to charge your phone. Everything felt dirty - I didn't want to touch anything.

kept getting locked in bathroom something wrong with knob kids had to freak out just to stick something in door knob to turn it very scary they didnt know how to get out of room to get help..very scary had to walk them through a coaching on how to unlock door while i was locked in.. now what if no one was here no one would here me and i told the attendant i was very scared she acted as if i were lying..i told her i did want room another night since my stuff already unloaded i asked could i have some type of discount she says nope..that’s horrible

I've been staying at this hotel for months it's the same thing as the AC doesn't work as a cable doesn't work every night you can't even get the staff to accommodate you on anything booked for a week here for 375 and they still haven't came and fixed the AC or the cable and told me it's not refundable

It was okay. Enough for an overnight stay in the city. Check in was very quick and easy. The room needed upgrading. The ceiling was peeling in areas, a light over the sink didnt work, the bed had a bed spring box that makes a loud noise if you hit it, the walls was peeling, the bathroom had crayon marks on the door and the toilet made a high pitch sound when you flushed. The walls are very thin for next door and the people above you. Itwasjust cheap and convenient for an overnight stay to visit ODU.

The rooms are very old and damaged. They smelled like cigarettes and there were cockroaches everywhere, even in the beds. The mirrors had cracks on them. Floors were very dirty and the toilet paper has to sit on the toilet because the dispenser was missing. The window curtains were also damaged and not hung correctly because of the damage.

DO NOT STAY HERE! LISTEN TO ALL RHE COMMENTS. I ended up not staying at all. Asked for non-smoking room and it was sprayed with men cologne to mask the smell which did not work. Had my asthmatic nephew with me and my 7 yr old who is alreagy allergic to the smoke smell. They were not going to survive the night there. I asked for a new room and when I went in to check I could not breath with the amount of smoke smell there was. On top of how dirty and disgusting the room was. To make matters worse the door would not close. It looked like some one tried to break-in. RUN THE OTHER WAY!

This place was the worst we ever stayed at. Blood on the bathroom door, toothpaste on the sink, earwax/hair stuck to the walls, gross dried muck on the table. The toilet paper was open so we used our own. We used our own blankets and such and used hand sanitizer often. It was a last minute decision to stop so slim pickings but seriously do not make the same mistake we did!

Lady at the front desk was very kind. The room reeked of cigarettes, the bathroom ceiling was leaking, walls are paper thin, people were inconsiderably loud all thru the night. Didn’t get any sleep at all.

The place looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for years. There’s a bunch of insects on the floor. I honestly would rather spend the night in prison in that place again.
