Very clean rooms, surrounding area was not loud. Very close to a lot of restaurants and other stores. Only issue was the A/C being very loud. But I would still stay here again

We arrived late, but the young man who checked us in was very helpful and kind. When we went inside our room, the AC was not cooling. So I called the front desk and asked if they had a fan because the room was not cooling enough. The front desk clerk brought a large fan and he was checking the AC and he immediately said that since the AC was not cooling that he could move us to another room. Which he did, he moved us to another room, and the AC in the other room was working beautifully. I don’t remember the name of the young man that helped us, but he went above and beyond. We checked out at around 10:30 in the morning and when I turned in the key, the young lady at the front desk apologized to us for the AC, not working in the first room. She also thanked us for giving them our business and for us staying regardless of the situation with the AC. The next room that we stayed in was very clean and very cool and we slept very comfortably. Thanks to the clerk for everything he did for us.

Room smelled musty. Property overall needs repairs and updates. Bed sheets has stains on them. Room was fairly clean but could have been better. Didn’t use pool but pool looked very nice.

I like the location, good AC. The bathtub was cracked, and it had tape to cover it. The room had an unpleasant smell even though we were not in a smoking area. Just didn't smell clean.

We were in Portland for a softball tournament & knew we would spend a minimal amount of time in our room. Place is within 4 minutes from sports complex. No hot breakfast is included but its surrounded by places to grab a bite. $153.00 for 2 nights was well worth it. I would book it again for our next tournament in Portland.

It was close to the Portland Sports Complex. - I was really let down by my experience at this hotel. The price was surprisingly high given the quality of the service and amenities. The breakfast was below average, and the coffee was weak and barely drinkable. Front desk staff—unfriendly and unhelpful throughout my stay. To make things worse, the ice machine wasn’t working, which was a small but frustrating inconvenience. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and won’t be returning.

The upcharge for 4th of July weekend. ?‍♂️ Beds only had 2 skimpy pillows each.

They cut down some trees and blew the pool area while we were there, some dirt got into my eye and because of that it's still swollen.

Clean facility as well as pool. Pool very important to me. Breakfast was disappointing. No eggs, no sausage, no toast, no waffles.

After paying for the room online , when I got to the property there was nobody at the front desk to give me my key. Several calls and ringing of the bell at front desk and still got no response.

I like the bed it was comfy The room smelled like mildew the room was also humid the heater didn't work and the breakfast was only cereal and yogurt but the yogurt was warm and the juice machine smelled like wet rag the juice didn't taste good

Got there Saturday night and they told us they won’t clean the rooms until Monday. The bed had a bad smell, good thing I had air freshener so I sprayed the bed and slept on the feet end of the bed thinking they would change the sheets when they came to clean rooms. Monday came and they didn’t even clean our rooms. They just gave us fresh towels . Definitely won’t be staying there again.

I do not recommend this hotel. This is an outdoors hotel, the stairs were rusted. Let’s talk about the room, the restroom door would not shut, the mattress was hard, the AC was loud and the toilet kept running, and to top it off, no coffee.

Hotel was barely cleaned, and had minimal supplies. The "breakfast" was dry cereal and a yogurt. That's basically it. I know it was a cheaper hotel yet I still feel robbed.

Hotels used to be full service everything. Now they're just a place to sleep in a dirty bed. Won't be using this hotel again. Room needed updating, worn fixtures, cracked sink counter. Many construction workers stay there, so they clean out the basic continental breakfast foods and coffee very early...there was no one around to replenish food or make more coffee.

Staying at Day Inn by Wyndham Portland was a last minute decision due to auto mechanical problems while driving through the area. After contacting Hotel.Com and successfully completing a last minute hotel reservation, the end result was a fabulous experience. The Management Team at Days Inn by Wyndham were very helpful and accommodating. The facility was very clean, parking area very well lit and marked, and the hotel room was perfect, clean, and very comfortable. Accessibility to their WIFI was easy and readily available. The room had plenty of complimentary coffee packets ready to be used. Really an enjoyable experience! I would give Days Inn by Wyndham Portland a "10!"

My stay was good, checking quick and easy. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Noise was not bad either. Proximity to things needed was quick and easy to access. Hotel is older, but can tell it was recently painted and updated.

It’s was a very nice and clean room. The fan in bathroom did not work and mini fridge was leaking but overall the night was good. They need to update the laundry facility. Machines looked old and damaged.

There was no carpet in the room. While the tv was HD most of the stations were not. Free WIFI was great. Coffee in lobby was available 24/7. Bed was comfortable.

I liked the bed and hat was it. The room was muggy and the air conditioning was not working properly. It was pricey to say and the breakfast was horrible. While eating the guy at the front desk had the tempature at 83 it was crazy. The property is also not taken care off. I feel ripped off.

Okay, so we arrive at our hotel (that I reserved about a month ago) at 4:30pm on a Sunday..front desk ignored me upon arrival and answered 2 phone calls. We were told there would be a 30 minute wait until our room was available. What could we do, right? So I ask her if there's a restroom I can use. She says "this one is out of order." So I said "well, do you have a bathroom we can use then?" We were given a key to go to the fitness center. There was no air conditioning, it was very unkempt and there was urine on the toilet seat. After we finished we went back to ask if our room was ready.....which it was. So we go in, to find 2 nails on the bed (like from walls or whatever) room smelled like paint and carpet was damp. Great tv selection though! Wi-fi kept going in and out of service, refrigerator was not as cold as it was needed, and the door would not open/close properly. And there was issues with the shower drain because when I went to shower, it was as if I was taking a bath as well. Bed was comfortable. But I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Glad we only stayed for one night..

The bed was very comfy but, the next morning, there was no way of sleeping , because the cleaning people were so loud & inconsiderate of the customers staying there!!!!

Had an issue the first night we arrived and the hotel manager moved us to another room without waiting. I am very appreciative of the service.

Very cute little hotel. Stayed very quiet despite being surrounded by spring breaker teenagers. Great gym!! One day housekeeping didn't come which turned out to be an over site. But the staff were quick to correct that the next day. Very good experience:)

It was an emergency trip. I booked late in the evening for late arrival (11:00 PM ) Check in was trouble free, and check out was equally pleasant.

Beds were comfortable and no smoke smell. Bathroom floor was dirty and needed tile repair. Reported to desk.

I was all good, only thing I woke up (3:30 am) to what I thought was raining outside noise, it turned out there was a leak in the restroom ceiling it lasted for about 15 minutes. I called front desk that morning and they changed my room for the next night. with no problem. I will staying there again.

Our stay was wonderful. Everything was nice and clean. Hotel was close to many attractions. Will definitely stay again.

Nice breakfast, clean rooms, nice pool area. We had a pleasant stay. It is conveniently located between Corpus Christi and Port Aransas. HEB and Walmart are close by and Restaurants as well.

Nice and clean hotel with a lot of restaurants near it. There were a lot of workers that stayed there so I would recommend for families. It is a nice hotel if your going between Corpus and Port A.
