Lovely hotel. Can’t beat rooms on the ocean. Too bad the pool and pool facilities are under construction.

Woman who checked me in was rude and condescending. I booked through Expedia originally and asked if I could add a day to my stay. She tried to tell me she couldn’t honor the rate or keep me in the same room until I explained how ridiculous that sounds…and this woman appeared to be a “manager” Ridiculous, even her co workers and valet guy were embarrassed!

This is a jewel of a place! Everyone was EXTREMELY, OVER THE TOP PLEASANT and COURETOUS. EXCELLENT Food, Service, and the room was VERY CLEAN( a must for me). Not your average stay at the beach, which was just steps out my door. An Elevated Beach Experience ⛱️

This is a 5-star property. Through no fault of the property, we had a disappointing experience. In our travels through Florida, this was the one stop where we were to golf. It's the sole reason we booked the property. We were there 2 nights and one full day and it rained most of the time. Driving range, practice greens, and course was closed. No shopping or restaurants within walking distance, so it wasn't the most convenient place to stay if not golfing. What service they could provide was excellent.

I love this place. In spite of terrible weather, and it being off-season, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. You won’t find a place to stay in Jacksonville with a better, more professional staff there to help you. I highly recommend staying in this area if you come into town. There are plenty of food options, and the beach area is well-maintained and beautiful.

We had a great trip. We did have a problem with the first room. The TV wasn't working properly, kept pixelating. They did their best to fix it but was unable. Although this became rather frustrating having people in and out of your room they moved us to another room. They even compensated us a late check out. The room was beautiful with a stunning view. The check in staff was wonderful and helpful once there was a problem. It was very cold during our stay but still enjoed a walk by the beach. I would stay here again.

The inn is beautiful and the rooms are amazing. Very modern and we had a great view of the golfing range. The staff are friendly and amazing. The kids heated swimming area very clean and so is the adult pool and hot tub. The facility is very clean and far exceeds my expectations! Would come back again!

We went for a staycation and it was an amazing time and have already booked our next visit. We ate at the Golf grill which was a surprising treat! Our server was so sweet and the pianist played Happy Birthday for my mom. We ate breakfast at the Main restaurant and it was so good and they entertained my kids. It’s a luxury resort but super Kid and family friendly. My mom and I took a break and went to the spa. We wished we had stayed at the spa for longer. It was huge and so relaxing and the best spa I have been to. Cant wait for our next visit.

Great restaurants, spa and beach. All the waiters and staff were friendly and helpful. If I had one complaint, it’s that you have to pay to rent an umbrella and chairs per day, on top of the daily rate for the room.

This was our third stay in past month. All first class and unusually friendly at all levels. Parking gets a little hectic at crunch time but staff ready to assust.

the beach was beautiful certain employees were discriminatory and racist towards my wife because she is South Korean..very shameful..the hotel wouldn’t apologize but instead only offered excuses..

This is my new happy place... palm trees golf swimming and dining right on the beach. Staff is top notch and realy helped us in a pinch.

Me and my wife came for a weekend trip and will be back to spend a week. There is a lot to do here, and we just didn’t have enough time to do it all. The room was very clean, the staff friendly and helpful. We will be back.

I have been coming to PVI for over 25 years and it is still the most service oriented hotel around. But the recent price escalation has made even this long time fan give pause to repeat visits. Let me reiterate; my only knock on this fine institution is the very steep room rates coupled with so many added costs that I have to reconsider returning.

We have stayed here several times and rank as THE best resort we have ever stayed at. Not disappointed again this year. First class service and they treat you as valuable guests from the moment you arrive. The beach is right outside your door and if you request a chair and an umbrella, it is set up in 10 minutes or less. Have never ate at the restaurants on site. Just too many other awesome restaurants nearby who serve fresh local seafood. We will definitely return and appreciate being treated like royalty while are at the resort!

The property and staff is wonderful. I selected this venue for my wife's 60th birthday. I read how their Spa was world class. Unfortunately, the Spa is booked weeks in advance and I wasn't aware of this when I made my reservation. Had I known, I would have chosen another facility that might have spa availability.

The room was a partial ocean view with a balcony and it was the best partial view I’ve had. The rooms were large and extremely clean - I am very picky when it comes to hotel rooms. The beds were comfortable staff was helpful and welcoming. Overall it was a great experience. I would absolutely stay again!!

I did not realize there were different buildings with various rooms. I booked a standard room and found myself in a little building far away from the main building which was quite a walk if you dint drive to the main buildings. There were 3 buildings overall. The main building only had a tavern for dining. The building I was in had no restaurants or eating facility. The other building across the street had one high end eating area and a diner which was first come first serve.

Good breakfast in the Inn dining room. Very pleasant waitress. We thought that we were staying in the main historic inn. We were sent to the back of the resort.....in a musty room that was very dated. We went back to the main resort, where a very nice desk assistant upgraded us to an ocean room. We still would have preferred a room in the main inn where we had originally thought that we were staying. However, Alexis Baldwin was very nice to try to make it a better experience. If not for her, we would have checked out. We had dinner at the beach restaurant, which was nice. However, to us, the beach units looked like Howard Johnsons from the front.

Room was great. Service at golf restaurant not good. Tennis courts were just average. Fencing old, old balls scattered on our court when we arrived for our court. Our court was not groomed for our morning play. Courts were open but said we couldn’t get a reservation until later. Very frustrating.

First room did not have a working heater. We received a complimentary move with upgrade for the inconvenience. New room was walk-out to ocean, just incredible. The beach here is spectacular, perfect for running and playing. The Golf Dining Room left some to be desired in the service department, especially when you factor the included 20+% auto added service charge. Overall I would come back in a heart beat!

I have been coming here for 25 years and PVIC never disappoints. The service and attention to detail is second to none. Covid has hampered them a little but I’m sure they will be back to their normal perfection very soon.

We have to bring It upstairs ourselves . The old tv didn’t work for the bad weather. Room smell funny , sink at bathroom didn’t drain. Rooms need a makeover ASAP We were advised about dress code for restaurant and when we arrived, were the only ones dressed according to the rules. Very expensive room , expensive restaurant, DONT WAIST YOUR MONEY!!!

Room was dated. Location was perfect, footsteps from the ocean. Food was delicious. Our reservation for chairs and an umbrella required a follow up. We would stay here again. One of our children forgot a sentimental item in the room and it was mailed ASAP. Great service!!
