Pool was igloo cold Jacuzzi jets wouldnt come on AND it was disgustingly filthy nasty I wouldnt couldnt even sit in it, put my feet only. When I asked the attendant when were they gonna clean it she said “maybe today” I immediately got out the jacuzzi! In the small room, the bed was comfortable & soft……. The shower had a crack in the ceiling and was leaking water— the WHOLE TIME. Check out suppose to be 11 am; however as my hubby & i slept (naked) with the tv on, we didnt hear the silent knock of the housekeeping sooo she began to WALK in our room at 1004 am … I immediately jumped up and ran to shut the door. When I went to ask the desk attendant how did this happen, the housekeeper laughed????? This was NOT funny to me & my husband. This was the worst hotel experience Ive had since 2021! I am very disappointed in Tru Hilton in Garland!

When my daughter and I arrived check in was very easy. The man and the front desk was very friendly. The staff at the front desk, were amazing for the 5 days that we were there. The breakfast was fresh and the lobby was always clean and smelled soooo good whenever you entered it. I bought a watermelon and had to ask if I could borrow a big knife and the front desk even helped me throw away the watermelon rind so I wouldn't have to have it in my room. They were all so helpful. Especially the woman when I checked out 4/19/26, she was amazing! Thank you for such a great experience.

The staff were kinds, but it felt like the basic level you'd expect. The room was decent, though the floor/ceiling seemed thin since noise from the room above carried easily. There were some construction cones and debris around the property with no active work happening which I found odd. The breakfast and bar area was pretty small. Overall, it was a decent stay for business, but not the best if you're looking to unwind.

The man who checked us in took entirely too long. We were kept by the counter for more than 5 minutes waiting for our key card. When we went up to floor 4, we found our keys didn’t work and had to return to the counter.

It took us 45 mins to get checked in because they had one person working. Also, the bed because it was caving in at the center on the end of the bed and it was super uncomfortable. The pillows were also super flat and hard to sleep on.

They charged me for a “data service” then couldn’t tell me what it was and said it “had something to do with Expedia”. I contacted Expedia customer service and they said it is a fee from the hotel and not something from Expedia. Unacceptable.

Loved the location. It was 10 minutes from my family. The hotel was clean and the room was equipped with a mini kitchen. The pillows were not comfortable but the bed was comfortable. I would stay here again. I felt at home.

Even though I had to wait in line behind a couple of other people, I was acknowledged and knew they were aware that I was waiting. Then I was greeted with a smile and taken care of quickly and courteously. My room is fabulous! I have no complaints. I highly recommend this hotel if you need a place in north east Plano to stay

Staff was very accommodating! I came from out of town to have surgery and they were happy to let is check in early and gave us a room on the 1st floor next to the side door. They were happy to meet any of our needs. The best hotel stay I have ever had!

My kids and I had a great spring break stay. The hotel was kids friendly with heated pool, nice breakfast options, and very clean. My kids enjoyed their stay.

Very easy to find very well located quiet area

The general portion of the hotel appeared to be in good condition. The breakfast had a variety of options and the options were good. I was in room #219. The room needs some 'attention to details'. The floor in the bathroom was lifting and the grout was missing in some areas (picture attached). The floor section from the kitchen going into the living area was also lifting and separating (picture attached). The pillows should be thrown away - thin and not comfortable at all (picture attached). The sheets would not stay on the mattress (I believe the elastic had nothing left and would not stay in place) - daily I would try to place the sheet on the mattress with no luck. On the morning of my checkout, the sheet was not on the mattress corner at all - at which time I noticed blood multiple blood spots on the mattress. I unfortunately did not take a picture of this.

The only problem was the one key that didn't accept the code. Another one did replaced the faulty one.

Convenient location. Not mentioned at check in, but one of our rooms had a space heater because the unit in the room was not working. The space heater did not have a thermostat so the room got very hot. Also, although the drink menu was displayed, the bartender did not have the ingredients for any of the drinks not even the one she offered me.

We had a great two day stay here! The room was very clean and efficient. Loved the mini kitchenette and the fact that there was a sofa bed. The staff was friendly and breakfast was great! We will definitely book this hotel the next time we are in Plano.

It was convenient to the highway and to my daughter’s house. The staff was nice and tried to help with the issues. The shower never got warm & the water pressure fluctuated from low to medium. Same, even when taking showers at different times of the day. The TV never turned all the way off-it was a light gray, which lit up the room. They told us to unplug it, but then it wouldn’t come back on. They said maintenance would come try to fix it, but they never came. We were needing to watch the weather, because of an upcoming possible ice storm & we were traveling.

The rooms are very nice and clean.. Spacious and the room we were placed in had a kitchenette fully loaded! They even had things you could borrow from board games to rice cookers!! Only thing i didn’t care for was the beds were sunken in a bit and only one shower door lol made it cold but loves the room! we will put this hotel at a 4 star and will be coming back

Everything but the condition of the carpet, tile beds and pillows was great. Room 310 needs to be completely gutted and redone with new carpet, beds, pillows, bathroom tile. However I cannot speak more highly about this place, they have a full kitchen with garbage disposal, sink, dish washer, knives, forks, spoons, micro, full fridge, plates etc in the room it was great. The other cool thing they do is allow you to cook on new Webber genesis out by the pool that they supply. There’s a huge gas grilling area, they supply seasoning, tongs, gas all you need is food. Really cool place

There are definitely similar properties in the area that I prefer to stay at compared to this Marriott. The King suite was incredibly small and the carpet was not vacuumed before our stay, bits and crumbs all over the floor. Biggest problem was the a/c unit. It would turn on quietly for a few minutes, then start making a loud rattling noise, then would be quiet again. It constantly woke us up during the night and even turned down, the room was rather warm. The outdoor seating area with the fire pit faces the main road, not a nice and quiet place to hang out. The free breakfast was a nice perk with fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, eggs, waffles, and breads. Overall, would choose a different hotel.

Modern and nice!

Also the front desk clerks, especially Anna, were very friendly and accomodating to our every needs. Just wish they carried Diet Cokes in their grocery items. (They only carry Pepsi products.)

Room was nice. Breakfast was average. Area behind hotel is a little sketchy. One business was loud with motorcycles but quieted down after 6.

It was our first time staying at a Townplace Suites before and we had a perfect experience! EVERYONE at the hotel were extremely friendly and accommodating. One evening our bartender also helped us with our air conditioning (and she did it with a huge smile on her face)! The staff really seemed to work as a team. The amenities were great, kitchen in room was really a plus and the experience overall was wonderful! We will definitely be back next month!

The biggest thing I would change is the incredibly awkward location of the TV. I’ve never been to a hotel that didn’t place it at the end of the bed(s). Very strange to have it off on the side on the wall to the bathroom instead.

I called ahead to let them know it would be a late check in on a prepaid room and they still gave away the room. We ended up with less bedspace so someone had to sleep on the floor.

I loved staying at this hotel. Very modern, clean, nice amenities (the little kitchenette was great!) The beds were very comfortable, the pool was clean and cute. There was a nice patio area to sit outside to enjoy the nice weather. Breakfasts were very good with multiple items to choose from and the coffee was delicious. The laundry room was clean and modern. Finally, the staff were all super friendly and helpful. I'd highly recommend this hotel!

The carpet had not been vacuumed. Visible dust pockets around the room like Cobb webs. It was horrible. The limited breakfast choices. The sausage tasted old and just gross. I choose this property specifically it was advertised as hot dining options. Those options were powered eggs stale muffins and oatmeal waffles. This is a continental breakfast.I will say all staff were 5of5 just very kind and helpful. House keeping staff said “no speak English” when I ask for fresh towels. I took the towels off their cart. I do not recommend staying here. I honestly had to take a towel and wipe the Cobb webs of dust off the furniture. I had no choice but to keep my house shoes on while in the room. It was like walking on a gritty floor. Everything counts for me when I’m paying 110.00 plus dollars per night. I suggest that these rooms are signed off on cleanliness including vacuuming floor and sweeping dust cobbs off around the furniture. I had no choice but to clean the mess up as I have severe allergies.
