Clean and nicely maintained. Parking was totally inadequate.

Very clean and the staff were very helpful and courteous. Would stay there again if need be.

The only con is that we have to pay for parking per day.

When I arrived on Friday, the room was very nice. It was a one bedroom with a separate living room. Each one of those had a TV. The one in the bedroom worked fine. The one in the living room would come on, but you couldn’t select anything. I had to have somebody come up and figure it out. The next day, my family and I left we had food in the refrigerator. We came back five hours later and the refrigerator was off not working at all. This is a full-size refrigerator. We were unsure if any of the food in the refrigerator was still good. It was not warm but only cool. I figured it out and the breaker had tripped. I went down to the front desk to report this and the person there didn’t seem to be overly concerned. But the refrigerator did continue to work the rest of the time we were there.

Everything was great as far as cleanliness and staff very helpful. I would definitely stay here again. Only thing that needs to be changed that I had an issue with was, I got to two rooms and got them connectingto each other. My dad did not know as I didnt either, and he locked his room door from the inside and walked out through the connecting door to my room. When we got back to the hotel we couldn't open his door and the hotel couldn't either. They said that we cant lock the room through the inside and walk out through the connecting door to the other room. No one mentioned this to us. They didnt have means to open the door that night till the next morning at 10am so they told me. They did offer us another room but all of my parents things oxygen machine, medications and clothing were in their original room. Finally after a while they did find a key that could open my parents room. This definitely needs to be rethought and fixed because if my mom who is not mobile with out assistance would of been in the room herself and this happened it would have been a serious problem. Other then that great hotel.

A pretty nice property overall, though there was a tile in the room's bathroom that was loose... Staff was accommodating. Other than that, I found the breakfast here to be lackluster. ONE waffle maker split among several guests is ridiculous. Having to wait 15 minutes for someone to make 3 waffles is a bit irritating (though that is not the other guests' fault).

Everything was great,,,,, Except that the breakers kept tripping?? First it was the refrigerator, then the kitchen outlets, then the dishwasher and garbage disposal, and the the A/C !!! I was able to reset most of them over and over again and some stayed on!? But they have a severe electric problem!!

The location and proximity to local restaurants and shopping. Staff was accomodating and moved me to another room after the issues with my first room Housekeeping was horrible. Urine stains were on my toilet and the dust floated which aggravated my allergies. None of the electrical outlets worked in my room. Not being offered a discount or any comps.

It's a older model hotel in need of a few updates. The furniture was in bad condition and I had ants in my bathroom and a few ended up on my bed.

Location was great. Room was spacious and comfortable Waited at the front desk for a good 5-10 minutes. Front desk lady finally appeared and seemed cold. She didn’t seem too happy.

The staff was nice and said the mistake was made on hotels.coms end. The incident made me stressed, worrying if the money would be refunded to my card. They really didn’t believe me at first but I showed them my receipt from Hotels.com and showed them tge alert my phone had received from their hotel. I also had to wait 5-7 minutes upon arrival because the girl behind the desk said she was new and didn’t know how to do check ins yet, she made a call to someone but it still took 5-7 mins before two people who were able to help to arrive, don’t know why someone was left to run the front desk with no knowledge on how to check-in someone. Warning to people, make sure this doesn’t happen to you, I was lucky because I caught it when my phone alerted me to the 2nd charge to my card. They charge $3.87 per night for parking and don’t build it into the fee shown on Hotels.com but instead bill you after the stay. I wouldn’t stay again, especially considering what I paid.

The property was in the ideal location for us. The breakfast was not very good. It was free, but the eggs were not good.

The bed was very comfortable and the room is a great size.

Clean. Room layout was efficient. Large shower is a plus. Swivel tv is always nice. Kitchenette area is convenient and fridge is a decent size.

I came to Dallas for my best friend’s funeral. I left my phone in Florida. It’s so hard to do anything without your phone … no contacts, banking, messaging, email, passwords. Lupita was at the desk when I checked in, I don’t know what I would have done without her. She fielded a couple phone calls, helped me with the hotel computer (I couldn’t access any of my personal accounts without my cellphone to receive authentication codes); she was a great supporter. (The woman who came in the next day was almost evil, wouldn’t even call a taxi for me). The room was great, amenities great, Lupita fantastic. And the bunnies in the back in the evening were adorable!

Kitchen cabinets were dirty and the sink stunk every time you ran water. On top of that the cook top and fridge did not work. When I called, I was told to flip the breaker. The fridge came on but the cooktop never worked. When we left the next day and came back the fridge was off again and all our cold stuff was no longer cold. We pulled out our sofa bed and old dirty linens were still in the bed. The front desk told me “I’ll put in a note but housekeeping isn’t here today”. Not exactly the experience I was hoping for. Also note that deep in the details you get charged daily for parking. The king bed was comfortable and clean.

There were a few spots in the bathroom that were dirty. The back of the bathroom door had stuff on it and I cleaned whatever it was off of it. There was also something on the side of the sink that I cleaned off with a rag. Other than that we had a good stay and experience.

The location was good. Parts of the hotel (near elevators, hallways) were humid & stuffy. I overheard a customer being moved to a different room due to an air conditioning problem in their original room. This is Texas....you gotta have a good working air conditioner March - November. I was extremely disappointed in how obviously dirty our room was. Then there were cracked floor tiles in our bathroom and in the elevators, which looked dangerous - and accident waiting to happen. The dark brown sofa in our room had blatant stains, hair and crumbs on it. The desk/table in our room had fingerprints, smudges and streaks. The curtains had fresh stains and would not close all the way to block out the lights at night. We brought food to cook on the tiny stove top in our kitchenette but were disappointed that there was only 1 frying pan that was not a non-stick. Definitely will not stay at this location again.

The parking recapture charge is not disclosed at the time of booking and hits your credit card after your stay. Classic jerk move. I hate that stuff.

The room was clean & the bed was soft but thats about all. The lady who was there at checkin was fantastic, the overnight person was rude & acted like we were interrupting her. I purchased the room for my son & his new baby and wife. He is military & just got back from 3 yrs overseas. They had just spent 30 hours on multiple flights & it was 2 am by the time we got them in their room and settled. They were exhausted but starving & bought microwave meals from the lobby to eat. Cost them the price of a fancy restaurant. When we went to use their microwave to heat it up, it wasn’t working. I went down to speak with the person at the desk. She was very rude and just acted like I was interrupting her personal phone call she was on. I explained the situation and asked if someone could come look at it or if we could please get another room. She didn’t even attempt to come up to the desk, she barely stepped out of her office area and immediately said no. They didn’t have maintenance available until morning, ok, understandable. No, they didn’t have any other rooms available, even though she didn’t even attempt to check the computer to confirm it. She did offer to heat the food for me in their employee kitchen but I couldn’t be there to see her do this. She was also very rude to my son and dil when they purchased the food. She clearly is only there for a paycheck and cares nothing about the customers or her job. We will never stay here & would recommend that you don’t either.

Christine the Assist Manager is very unprofessional. We asked her why didn’t our room get cleaned. She replied with a really bad attitude totally unacceptable. This was my 2nd stay at this hotel and I WILL NOT be rebooking. We are here for a death mad she was very cold.

Checked it around 4:30 on friday after a couple hours i asked staff for a fan due to the room not cooling off. By 10:30 we had to pack all our belonging and be transferred to another rooom due to the room not cooling off. Once transferred we notice Saturday that the microwave did not work. And come 2am sunday morning the AC in our new room stopped working. Staff was friendly and helpful but this facility definitely needs some upgrades. The sofa bed that my kids slept on had so many unknown stains on top of that the bed was so hard i had to ask for multiple blankets to soften the bed up for them. Over i was dissatisfied with my over all stay at this location.

For it being such a nice hotel it wasn't quite as clean as I would expect as well as the sink not draining properly. The AC/heater also blew right at the bed which made it uncomfortable.

I was really disappointed in comparing it to the Hyatt Place in Garland that I usually stay. I like the hotel accommodations better than Hyatt, but that breakfast could be a deal breaker.

I really loved the kitchen and living area. It had everything you needed, and the hotel overall was clean and updated. The bathroom was lovely as well. The breakfast was warm and fresh, and the kitchen staff kept it clean and stocked for the guests.

Nice hotel that was easily accessible. It's just a little ways from Central Expressway (75) on the George Bush Turnpike. My only complaint was the picture of the room on Expedia was not the room I received. I was expecting a two room suite and that's not what we received. I am an early riser while my wife likes to sleep in. I had hoped to do some work in the other room while my wife was sleeping in the bedroom part. I had to leave the room and go to the hotel lobby. Not the worst thing, of course, but I would have stayed somewhere else had I known the room we'd be getting would not have a door separating the bedroom with from another room.

I enjoyed staying here, the place was very clean the staff was very nice and they also have breakfast every morning as well as a laundry room. If I ever go back to Texas I will definitely choose this hotel again. Great experience you won’t be disappointed.

Additionally, one of the rooms we rented had a non-functional TV, and the other room’s HVAC system failed to cool the room properly, making our stay uncomfortable. When we checked out, the manager was unavailable to address our concerns or to extend any gesture of goodwill. This experience was quite disappointing, especially considering the standards we have come to expect from Marriott. I hope you can address these issues and prevent them from happening to future guests.

Dallas at the time was in the midst of severe storms, DFW was temporarily closed and the hotel experienced a black out. the hotel clerk "found" me another comparable room and i was required to pay over $400 which was said to be "just a hold". I checked out 6/2, inquired about the money on hold and was told it would be released in several days. It is now 6/10 and the money has not been released from the temporary "hold". And the hotel was paid in advance by Expedia and again by me. this is very distressing and i am feeling like i was scammed!

Great stay, staff is very courteous. Room is spacious. Only issue was that there were lots of dog hairs in the room on the sofa, the chair and the carpet.

Nice clean room. Staff was attentive, carpets seemed newer and very little wear and tear on the property. I would stay again.

We were extremely satisfied with our stay here. With two kids under 5, they accommodated us with every request, and the kitchen was a lifesaver. Truly recommend for any length of stay.

BE AWARE, there is a "voluntary" daily parking fee that is not disclosed but added to your final bill. It was explained to us that it is to pay for the parking garage next door, for the Marriott. We obviously opted out, did not leave a good impression at all.

First time been to Texas. I stayed at so many Marriott hotels in other cities in the past. This one makes me feel like home.

AC quit but on Thanksgiving day, they were able to locate a service person to correct it. Rooms fit our needs perfectly. Very pleased with our stay and looking forward to returning.

We used the pull out sofa bed during our stay. It was clear that the cleaning staff has neglected to clean below the cushions when it isn’t used as a bed.

Hotel was conveniently located. Easy access to the highway. Hot breakfast was nicely prepared every day with a nice variety.

Beware- there are two Residence Inns in Richardson/Plano and both are adjacent to GBT. it creates confusion for the guests. I’m told that mixing up locations happens regularly so why not fix this with a slight name change. Despite my frustration the room was lovely and met my needs.

Room was not clean at checkin, we were gone all day and it still wasn’t clean when we returned. The shower was especially bad photos of it are attachéd this was old grime and mildew

Stayed for one night 08/14/2022 at this nice, new and redesigned Residence Inn. Checked out and learned my catalytic converter was stolen. No security or cameras around the building or parking. $2000 cost and all the manager offered me is a heck of a discount on my next stay. While getting my vehicle repaired, met a man that had his stolen the same night at the Courtyard next door. STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

Also the breakfast items are the same throughout our stay of 3 out of 4 nights so far. Could definitely have a variation of hot breakfast items. Other than that, the service and the location is perfect for our need.

The hotel is incredibly well kept. Breakfast wasn’t the best I’ve had at a hotel but wasn’t the worst either. Plenty of parking and they have a huge area for dogs behind the building which was very convenient.

We had a short one night stay but everything was easy and the staff was very polite. Thank you!

The bed was comfortable. The room was spacious with walk in shower. It also had a full kitchen, so more than one night would have been great to use. The couch was dirty, looked like it had lots of spills on it and needed to be cleaned. We did tell front desk when we checked out. Continental breakfast was like most others.

Great stay while I was getting home renovations done. The kitchen area was great so I was able to prepare meals and not have the extra expense of going out to eat. The work desk was nice and roomy and still allowed me to "work from home". Breakfast was fresh every morning.

For starters, they use the "COVID crutch" some hotels have fallen into. Missing conveniences like folios and office supplies in the rooms, and no daily room cleanings (except by special request). Despite the staff's claim of "we got rid of these because of COVID concerns", every hand sanitizing station on the property was empty, and none of the employees wear masks. Likewise, the breakfast buffet is still at 50% (at best) of what it was. "We have bagels for you... oh but no cream cheese!". No fresh fruit at all, and a limited supply of breads and pastries. Basically, if it expires or goes bad and you can't reserve it for weeks on end, this Residence Inn has decided to stop stocking it in their morning breakfast. When I see all these shortcomings at a hotel, I think "you're not being concerned, you're being cheap". Shame on you Residence Inn Dallas Plano/Richardson.

Great service, great location to get to all shopping needs, quick easy access to freeway & the gym very equipped with all right equipment to use for what you need! I will definitely stay here again when I’m back in Texas.

Would reccommend to anyone who needs a little more than just a room.

The room was not cleaned very well and required me cleaning several items to make my stay more comfortable.

Always stay here when traveling to plano. Love the room designs (has a large office desk that I use) we stay here about 6 months and have for the past few years.

The room was awesome; bed was so comfortable, and kitchen was great. Definitely all the comforts of home while on the road for work. All of the staff was really courteous, polite and friendly. 100% would stay here again if traveling to the Plano area.

Room set up was awesome, staff attentive to you even called room to check on you and see if all is ok.

Always great staying here. Free Breakfast is a and they only hold $20 for incidentals.
