Beautiful resort, would come here again!!!!

Loved our stay at The Wigwam. Everyone’s was friendly and helpful and our casita was large with a great bed. Will definitely stay here again!

This property is stunning. Listening to the birds while drinking coffee at the little table out of our back door was an amazing experience. And the room at check-in was spotless and most of the staff was lovely and helpful. The gift shop has everything and even sells suitcases and the nearby restaurants are really good, including Papa Paul's Brick Oven Pizza & Pasta and Old Pueblo Cafe (the most amazing veggie fajitas I have ever had). The reason it's a 4 and not a 5: Check-in was not great as the worker was not helpful and rushed. On the Sunday we were there they closed the adult pool bar/food early "cuz they were slow." Not good. But not blaming the pool workers who were very kind. The room cleaning, which we would have skipped if they had mentioned that option during the rushed check-in, was not good. So odd. And there was a smashed glass on a sidewalk that I told 3 workers about and all smiled, thanked me, and did nothing. Again, so odd. Overall, beautiful with some bumps.

The check in woman was amazing. The pool was great. The bar and Litchfields was awesome as well. Only thing would be to add more carts to move people. Where you park/idle for check in could be better marked for parking and maybe lanes for checking in and one for valet?

Staff was truly outstanding makes me want to return. The exterior of some buildings need to be addressed. The food was fine, the outdoor adult pool was great and the staff made sure that only adults were allowed in. The rooms were clean and very spacious.

The Wigwam is such a beautiful place and the staff all made me feel like a princess. Food is outstanding and support for our meeting was excellent. I’ve been there several times and noticed the property needs a little “fixing up” now, which hopefully can get done in the summer. I’ll go back again because it is a special place that honors the history of the Valley and the beauty of the desert.

The Wigwam staff was very friendly from when we checked in, servers, pool staff and at check-out. The resort grounds are beautiful. The family pool was nice however there were people eating poolside and their cups and food ended up in the pool. Our room A/C was not cooling. After 2 hours I texted for a maintenance engineer who was prompt. He had to clean the filter. It was completely clogged. The air began to cool immediately. We discovered later the safe was not working as it was low battery. The water leaked from the shower stall sopping the towel. There was a base to a phone but no phone. At 3am the morning of checkout the smoke detector started flashing. The alarm didn’t go off but I couldn’t go back to sleep. They need to make sure each room has a PM schedule. The golf course is maintained but not our room. It was disappointing. I was expecting better quality especially for what we paid. I shared this at checkout. The front desk staff member was nice but did not offer to share with the GM for follow-up.

Little bit of a step back in time, but my family loved it. Food at Litchfields, room service and breakfast at wigwam bar was great. Will definitely go back.

Always love to stay here. Love the whole vibe The front office was rude, dirty looks and made us wait just standing there for over 5 minutes by just yelling from another room unseen that they would be with us in a minute. Then came up very rude. Kinda put a bad start to our stay.

Only here for a quick one day/night stay but was grateful for all the little luxuries! I was upgraded to a fairway room and it was just like a mini retreat. I was able to get in an early morning workout and grab breakfast at the Wigwam bar. Loads of golfers there but it also has a family friendly vibe that encouraged me to look into bringing my entire family! Lovely!

The staff was very pleasant and upgraded our room and gave us complimentary dessert for the wait on our room check in, which was not an inconvenience. We also received two mornings of complimentary breakfast! Beautiful hotel! We’d definitely come back!

Housekeeping woke us early and tried to enter when we were in the room. Shower and bathroom were very dirty.

The room was modest and the bed was comfortable. The signage around the hotel was hard to read at night, need to either be lighter colors or a different font.

We waited for 30 minutes at an outside table (Wigwam bar) and just left, as no one came, though they said "they'd be right with us". Also, staff there on other days was very unfriendly. Red Allens Restaurant had a much better vibe and friendly staff. Great manager checking on everything as well. Food tastier there than Wigwam restaurant. Litchfield restaurant was nice, but quite pricey. As we were walking to dinner, a staff member told us to walk on the grass and not the sidewalk, so staff golfcarts and don't hit us. Weird! Everyone at the resort walks on the sidewalks, so not sure why he stopped us. Odd. Grass was muddy due to the irrigation, so we walked on the sidewalks anyway..just annoyed why he told us that. Toilet leaked so had to move to another room where the shower leaked out onto the floor. The second room was not as nice as the first one. Put up with it rather than move a second time. Golf and tennis was great as well as the food.

Really nice hotel with three golf courses. Only played two of the courses red and gold liked them both but gold was better. Nice room decent location lots to do locally. Several pools to use that were quiet as hotel seemed to have lots of conference people not families which was good for us. Would love to stay again one day.

The only downside was the shower in our room flooded the bathroom which was really unpleasant. It seems that the shower door didn’t seal so every shower resulted in standing water in the bathroom. If we stayed any longer than 2 nights it would have been intolerable.

The GM and staff at golf course went ABOVE AND BEYOND OVER AND OVER. The signage to find your way is lacking. I spent so much time lost on property!! Is there technology that could help with this?

We came and stayed for our honeymoon and truly had the most wonderful time. The Lemond’s spa experience was wonderful and the services provided were excellent. The resort was very clean and nice and quiet. We liked how relaxing it was. Will definitely be booking again for family vacation and future anniversaries.

The room was very spacious but there were two roaches and no amenities other than the shampoo and body wash in the shower area. Will not return to the Wigwam mainly due to the poor quality of service received from the staff.

The main lobby is so quaint, there are lovely rooms where you can get a drink sit and chat, privately or with others. The pools are wonderful! There was live music at Litchfield's last night and the food was terrific. We have lived in Arizona for 30 years, stayed at many resorts in the Valley, and keep coming back to this one!

Property was clean and wonderful, felt safe with my family of us 4 girls traveling together. Very convenient to several places/choice to eat. Close to get anything you may have forgotten to travel with. Restaurant on site was wonderful. Only 1 pool was open when we visited, and it was fine. I do wish the adult pool would have been open though. Next time

Overall we had a nice time at the Wigwam and loved our room and the restaurants at the resort and just outside of it. The resort grounds are beautiful. The only downside was that the adult pool was closed in the middle of August. This was one of the reasons we chose to stay here for my birthday. So that was a bummer to learn when we arrived. I thought its fine and I could enjoy the pool that was open with the water slides full of kids, but after only 10 mins in the pool I hear a kid say "do you guys know your swimming in my spit, i spit all over there" on top of the pool already being pretty dirty like it hadnt been skimmed in days, so that grossed me out. I know all public pools can be gross but that made just get out. So i didnt even get to enjoy the pool. The staff were very nice and the room service was quick when we requested it. Thank you to them!

Some rooms have been remodeled and are amazing. Original rooms are till just as great. Gym is a bit outdated but you get your workout in, and that's all that matters. Pools are awesome...cool water even on 115 degree days of Arizona.

Customer service was great! I had a problem with one room smelling like sewer and was upgraded to another room which was great however, the A/C didn't work well enough to cool the room down because how old and small the A/C unit was for being in Arizona heat. Would have been nice to have the A/C work better, however the staff was very nice and as helpful as could be under the circumstances.

We tried Red Allens bar and feill on the property and the food was awesome and the staff was superb. I didnt want to leave, The hotel staff were so nice. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone that visits the area.

Gorgeous property and great dining options. Check in was seamless and we received a room upgrade to a casita without asking. The room was spacious and comfortable. It was nicely renovated and very clean. We ate at both restaurants on the property and the food and service were very good.

Adult pool closed for private party so we had go to kids pool! A bug on my pillow! Black dust fell over toilet from ceiling vent! Shower leak down on floor by toilet! Steak restaurant closed and pool grill very limited! We won’t come back again!

Well-wasnt pleased. We went for my 40th birthday and was told at check in i had been upgraded to a suite. Went to use the pool until my room was ready-at 4:30, still hadnt been notified, went to check and they didnt have my room ready & they had no idea why. Then a regular room was available. So because i had to get ready for dinner plans, i went ahead and took that one. Didn’t get my room until 5:20 when check in is at 4. I was disappointed in that. Also-the adult pool was closed and wasn’t notified prior to check in. We stayed here for our wedding & loves it which is why we came back but highly disappointed this time. Don’t know if ill go back

The facilities are clean Nice place, but the amenities (pool, spa, etc.) are spread out. Be prepared for some walking to use them. The rooms are nice, expect for a charming experience, but do not expect a truly modernized one. The major inconvenience is that the distance to the parking from the room was pretty far (with bags). The steamer I was provided didn't work. The bed was extremely comfortable!

The property is beautiful. I definitely didn't feel like I was in the city, even though I was very close to it. We had garden king rooms, and there was another guest in the room next to us. There are doors that separate the rooms and it was very loud in the room next-door. I could hear their TV the whole time it was so loud. That was terrible. I did not sleep hardly at all, which was very frustrating. The sinks in the bathroom. When you would turn the faucet on, water would just fill up on the countertops so I had to keep the towels up there to soak up the water. The shower door doesn't open in a very easy way either. Not the best design.

Great place…safe and so clean. You can telll the hotel is aged however it was charming and very safe. Service was impeccable and staff were very friendly and helpful. We will be back for our next staycation

First of all I love the Wig Wam. Been there many many times. This time was the worst. I was charged $350 for one night. Hotels.com said the nightly rate was $179. The pool was extremely cloudy and I ended up with a rash!

Clean rooms, Personable Staff

Pool staff was fantastic!!

The room: The Door was hard to shut. Hard to close curtains, letting too much light in at night. While entering the shower, I slipped and fell, pulling my groin area because of the slippery shower floor. Water drained slowly. Mold on the shower window.

The spa was excellent Litchfields was overpriced and living on past glory. They nickel and dimed every food item being allocated. The service was rushed, and the food was average.

Pool was the best part and the workout area also the Wigwam Bar and grill dinner options were good. Limited breakfast items need more options. I expected it to have more amenities for kids other than the pool. I also experienced a room not so clean from the outside of the door which needed attention and the bathroom area. Toilet wasn't clean tub had a cup from prior guest. workout room not clean.

Bugs crawling on us while trying to sleep

Overall a really great property. Had a very historic southwest vibe. The staff was friendly, the room was updated and spacious. The tower pool was pretty hammered - the water was nasty and bathtub hot. The oasis pool was much nicer but doesn't allow children which should have been made more clear at booking. The exterior of many of the buildings are in decline/fairly worn out looking but the interiors are good.

The Wigwam runs like a well-oiled machine, with attentive service and thoughtful execution throughout. Exceeded expectations.

Everuthing was great except the pool was hot.. it qas 112 in phoenix that weekend but there is no point to cool off in a pool if it is hot.. hope they can resolve this issue. Would make the dtay 9/10

We contacted front desk and quickly they had someone come check. They had to put in a work order but not until next day. For that evening/night they brought us two fans to help cool down suite but fans were so loud. Engineers came following morning but not until I called again to remind them. They changed out filters and helped a little bit but glad we had fans I guess. The last day that we were there we requested a microwave and they advised us it would be $25 for a single day. You figure for it being an almost 5 star resort they’d just bring one to room. Disappointed with that situations. Restaurants were really good and staff was very attentive. Overall stay was good with the exception of the little things mentioned above that would’ve made a difference in our opinion.

This resort was in the perfect neighborhood. The grounds were incredibly well kept and staff were all very helpful.

Property is beautiful, rooms are spacious and really lovely in the design. Like all the places to eat. Pool is beautiful, but was pretty murky. Wish they would clean it a bit better.

I wish I had taken the time to look at the map then I would have asked to be closer to the adult pool. 1 adult check in and I’m closest to family pool so had a walk to get over to the other side of the resort I will know next time as I’m sure there will be one

Absolutely amazing

Ice was very hard to find, actually never found it. But staff brought a bag of ice to our room.

Wish Litchlields dining restaurant was open on Monday and Tuesday.

The resort was very well kept up from the property grounds, to reception building, to the room everything was very neat and clean. We stayed in a suite and the room was beyond expectation, the shower was amazing, very comfortable and clean bed and bedding, the side room was very spacious and comfortable, definitely good size for a couple having a get away or just trying to relax. I will highly recommend this resort to all family and friends as well as I will return in the near future. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I left my iPad in the room after leaving the resort I called and they had security go to the room and retrieve my iPad for me and security held onto it until I returned to pick it up. Very professional and respectful and handled everything very great couldn’t ask for a better experience!!

Beautiful and tranquil property with superb service!

Wow! Great! We liked so much

It took 15minutes to check in and I was the only one in the lobby. I asked for a quiet room and the receptionist put me in a room right next to a reception dinner with a live D.J. and hundreds of people. I went there for peace and quiet. The phone in the room did not work so I couldn't call the front desk without using my cell phone nor room service nor house keeping. Parking was far from my room and I am handicap unless I used valet which I am unable to.

I have stayed at the wigwam many times and always enjoy it!

Great resort for a sports oriented family getaway.

The staff was not very welcoming. In addition, there was no help offered for our luggage, no bell service. Lastly, prior to my arrival, I requested a room that was handicap accessible and none was provided nor was I given a comparable room.
