    The staff were friendly and cordial enough. Ice machine on the 3rd floor was out of order. There are no microwaves or mini fridges in the rooms so plan accordingly. But I didn't pick this facility based on amenities, just needed a place to lay our heads for the night. For the intended purpose, this place worked just fine. Beds were actually pretty comfortable as well as the provided pillows.

    We ended up inadvertently leaving our phone charger and the staff actually called us to let us know and see if we wanted to donate it, we were already too far when we realized it to turn back. Staff was fantastic, the floors needed to be cleaned better and for one night it was fine.

    I would not stay here again. I thought Red Roof Inn PLUS would be an improvement on a motel but it was not. First the neighborhood was sketchy. Homeless people across the street in a vacant lot (they did have a night security guard.) There was no where to go to eat within walking distance. No mini fridge. No microwave. The towels were paper thin. What appeared to be black mold in the a/c unit. Paint peeling on the bathroom walls. Paint scratched off in the room. You get what you pay for so I shouldn't complain. At least I had a bed to sleep in.

    I wasn't expecting much and got even less. My first complaint was I was informed they'd be keeping $3 of my security deposit & compared it to a resort fee. A small amount but an unexpected insult when Expedia claims they are presenting "total" cost. Other minuses where a rather sketchy neighborhood and poor water pressure. But worse was room air conditioner had an impossibly loud compressor motor that woke everyone up when it turned off and on making it impossible to get a good night sleep.

    The bathroom was not clean..human hairs on the shower walls, and other unknown stuff that I had to use a disinfectant wipe to clean..floors in the room were just plain filthy.. With hotels , you get what you pay for..an extra 20- 25 dollars per night can make all the difference..I was trying to cut costs...

    The room was clean one of the only properties that do have a Bible in the stand major plus, but that’s all that I liked about this property. The staff is very rude and be cautious as they are looking for any vehicle that they can tow. The staff are very unprofessional They probably have all of their family working there and working together with local tow truck companies for extra Christmas cash for their own pockets and benefit. sharing this to inform all .     I made the mistake of booking a stay here, and I would strongly advise others to avoid it. The neighborhood is extremely sketchy, something that was later confirmed by the police, who I ended up having to call. The photos on Expedia are very misleading and make the property look much cleaner and safer than it actually is. We checked in at 5pm and was packing up our things at 11:30pm. We were in bed going to sleep when there was a loud and aggressive banging at the door like they were the police. I was already on edge staying here so this just heightened my anxiety. I looked through the peep hole and there were 3 to 4 men at the door announcing they were security. There was no way I was going to just open the door under those circumstances with no prior call from the front desk, no warning,just multiple men banging on the door. They started jiggling the door acting like they were going to come in so I called the cop. Let them know the cops have been called and instead of stopping and waiting for cops they continued. Cops finally showed up and escorted us to our car so we find another hotel to stay at. Expedia was no help and is for the company not the customers who are keeping them in business. Even after explaining the circumstance they decided to go with the hotel and only refund me 2 days vs 3 days I paid for. The next day I found reviews that they do this often and they even entered someone’s room without permission so be careful!

    The staff is great but the hotel is not! The location is terrible and unsafe for families. No fridge or microwave unless you pay more. We upgraded rooms and the new room had dirty towels hanging on shower rod, hair everywhere, moles in shower, stains everywhere.     The area is not the safest, and parking is questionable. Very loud and dirty. The elevator was full of graffiti. Our room was so sticky it was as if someone had mopped with juice. The bed sheets were stained and clearly dirty. There was a black shoe print on one of them. And red drops on the sheet

    The Property Isnt In The Best Neighborhood, The Drive Into The Property Made Me Question What I Was About To Go Into. Thankfully The Inside Was Very Nice And Clean. The Rooms Were Spacious Too. There Are A Lot Of Fast Food Places Around. Unfortunately I Had A Bad Experience The First Night Where The People Next Door Decided To Have A Party, Playing Music So Loud The Walls Trembled And A Woman Singing And Yelping Like She Was The Only One In That Building. They Started At 1a.m.And Didnt Shut Up Till 8a.m. We Didnt Get Any Sleep And Didnt Report It As Nowadays Im Terrified Of Retaliation If They Had Found Out I Had Reported Them. While This Isn't The Hotels Fault, I Wish People Would Be Mindful Of Others When Staying At Hotels. I Stayed There 2 Nights And Thankfully The 2nd Night Was Much Better. I Think These People Booked The Room Just To Throw A Party.

    All the motels in Phoenix were running $500 plus a night and they were getting booked up fast. I finally found the Red Roof Inn Plus that had decent reviews and wasn't going to break the bank. I booked a King room. A day later, I found out my granddaughter was coming with us. I messaged the motel and asked if i could get a double bed room or a rollaway bed. They accommodated me immediately with a double bed. After we got to the motel, we found out the next morning that the shower head was broken. We were able to shower but the water wasn't spraying well. We told the front desk and by the time we got back ro the room that evening, the shower was fixed, the room was cleaned and fresh towels were in the room. This motel treated us great.

    When we checked in we were given the wrong room keys and surprised the occupants when we opened the door. Had to return and get keys for another room which left the check in person as well as myself confused. The rooms are only cleaned on Tuesdays and Saturday’s I was later told after we ran out of towels on Monday. Could not get clean towels unless we brought the dirty ones to the lobby for an exchange. The rooms have no mini fridge or microwave or exhaust in the bathroom for that matter. The ice machine on our floor is out of order and the elevator and lobby lack a/c. Also if you are looking for anything besides coffee in the morning you are out of luck. Makes me wonder what the Plus+ in Red Roof Inn is all about.

    Not a safe area of town, especially traveling with children. No breakfast offerings and graffiti in elevator. The staff seemed friendly. Got in after 1am after our flights were delayed. Chose to find a different hotel in a safer area the next day. Solo mom travels by with my two daughters, I felt uneasy with the area. No safety concerns per se in the hotel, just the neighborhood.

    The slowest service I’ve ever experienced. Unprofessional staff. Broken amenities and was gaslighted about it. The room smelled like chemicals and bleach and staff acted like they couldn’t smell it even tho it was pungent. The staff was unorganized when I asked for a replacement remote so I could at least watch the TV. Everything was wrapped in plastic baggies which was so odd. I cancelled my stay 10 mins after I saw the state of my room. Just awful.

    I’d call this a C-minus property. The check-in was smooth but that was the high point. Moderately clean but worn. The room was ok - two tables and some chairs. Bed was so-so, same with A/C. TV was functioning. Bath had hot water of adequate strength but tub drained very slowly. Oddest of all was no fridge or microwave.

    Where can one begin with such a review. You can go ahead and evict the thought of comfort by its classic definition. Leave the constraints of class and dignity at the door and enjoy the Red Roof Inn Plus+ style of comfort that carries a more relaxed connotation. Red Roof offers more than just a room to lay your crows nest. It offers an unforgettable experience that can be found no where else. Overall I would be doing a disservice to not emphasize how much I recommend this EXPERIENCE to anyone wanting to escape the law or pick up a sickness that allows them to skip work for a number of days. Red Roof Inn Plus is hands down one of the places I've stayed in my life and it's an event so perfect I wouldn't dare ever stay there again to taint my view of an already unforgettable experience.

    Very dirty rooms. There were two used washclothes hanging on the shower curtain rod when I got the room. There is dust at every corner and 1" from every wall all around the carpet. Damaged refrigerator. Nasty and cheap soap bar that it is just greasy and makes the sink scummy. One of the beds was broken and sagged so much I could not sleep on it. They also bribe people for good reviews in exchange of discounts, so don't believe the 5-star reviews. They asked me to do a good review in order to give me a room with a fridge which I absolutely needed for my dogs food, so I did it. I will never stay here again.

    I was not able to check in. I arrived at 1:47am in the morning and was told that I did not have a reservation. And if I wanted to stay there I would have to pay for the room and a deposit. I would not recommend Red Roof as a place to stay to anyone that I. Know. The man at the front desk was not polite, and at that time of morning after traveling was not accommodati, was not willing to assist me with clearing up the issue. Even after I showed him my reservation online.

    The front desk lady was so rude. I was checking in late at night after leaving adv situation and she made a rude comment that I was talking to fast. I explained I had bad anxiety due to what just happened and apologized. She sighed and rolled her eyes. I asked her why she did that and told her that was rude. She denied it called me a liar and told me to leave. I told her I would have to charge my phone to order another uber she kept on with confrontational statements said I couldn’t charge the phone. I explained that I had to order an uber and I wasn’t going to walk the streets with my child this time a night looking for a place to charge the phone and plugged it into lobby outlet she called security on me. I explained it to security and they were understanding and stood by while I charged it and ordered the uber. Never again will I stay at this hotel or attempt to. I couldn’t believe she acted that way especially in front of my 11 year old son who just wanted a safe place to sleep and was so tired I had to wake him to leave and come there.

    The surrounding area is very unsafe. The male Night Shift attendant was very nice. But the manager was rude. She was very ugly and rude. The electricity went off in our room on one side of the wall. We could not watch TV. They offered a room for us that night and I told him we have too much stuff to move and I was tired after working at 12 hour shift and they said they can move me in the morning and in the morning when I wanted to move, she was rude and put me out and told me I should’ve switched rooms that night. Yes she did reimburse me for the other night I paid but for her to kick me out like that was unacceptable. As a travel nurse, I’ve never had that happen to me and all the hotels that I’ve traveled in five years. This was very unacceptable.

    For it being $230 for two nights I expected a little more decent of an area at least. Not having a fridge in the room or breakfast either kind of sucked for that price. When Expedia says “what you see is what you pay” it’s not the case. I had to pay an extra $75 for a deposit when I checked in. I gave them an extra star just because it was pretty clean but that’s about the only nice thing to say. When I asked if they offer a later check out the response I got from front desk was “we filled up last night so we are kind of just waiting for everyone to get out.”

Coffee maker with no coffee Iron board very dirty A lot of knocking and banging noise and screaming from the next room. Doors at office are filthy elevator disgusting The carpet and floor were filthy the back of the beds are filthy. Front desk at check in were just fooling around while there was a line waiting to check in. We came back from the event and we tried to get extra soap and towels but the wait to even talk to the employee was exhausting we just went up our room and slept couldn't shower because there was only one soap 2 towels for 4 people? You gotta be kidding me ! I've stayed at red roof in and the experience was very different this location just not it you can tell the there was some weird stuff going on there if you have small kids or women do not stay there alone!

    The hotel itself was located in a very shabby area with homeless people all around it, when getting there we were greeted by the rudest host Luis ever. Could not provide any solutions for us but did issue a refund so thank him for that, ended up staying at La Quinta hotel down the road much cleaner and was so much nicer and even upgraded us to a suite after asking us how our day had gone and we had vented to our host. Never attempting to stay at red roof again.

    Not sure if they play good cop bad cop here but checking in the people were pleasant. The one lady actually GUESSED it was my birthday and upgraded my room to a single king. We had 3 rooms. We asked for a noon check out and they said no problem. Until 11am came and the knock on the doors and phone calls to the room saying if we stay til noon we will get charged. That was never said the day before. I quickly got my things together and went downstairs and told them I was out and they should get their $#!+ together. She said it was a new guy working yesterday so you get charged for staying late. I said that was bs to tell us of a charge after the fact. I will be disputing it on my CC bill. Then she said the leader of the group already came down and now it’s ok. Well, what good did that do for me? I’m now rousted from my room things packed in hand and not showered. So F this hotel. If you hate your life , stay here.

    Booked a reservation through Expedia. Another family member booked there as well through their website. After check in, my family member calls me and tells me they had to cancel their reservation because the room smelled super bad and it just wasn’t very clean. Fortunately, they were able to get a full refund. However, when I called I was told I had to go through Expedia, which I completely understand. Unfortunately for me, they only agreed to give me a partial refund, which was only for the second night. This is completely unacceptable. I understand it was past the cancellation date/time, but I don’t think it’s right that you guys wont give me the full refund as it wasn’t on my part that I had to cancel. You guys need to keep the place clean so things like these don’t happen and be more flexible when things like this happen. Manager Isabel you need to be more understanding on these situations

    Stayed in a pet friendly room. Smelled like cat urine. Showers were very dirty, did not shower there. Floors were sticky in certain areas. (Wood floors) The area outside didnt feel particulary safe. There were a few people, (either homless or drug addicts) hanging out by the parking lot. They did have a roaming security that didnt seem too motivated to do laps around the parking lot. If you are just going to sleep and arent caring anything valuable in the car then it doesnt beat the price. Only stayed one night to split a moving trip so was paranoid with the uhaul.

    It took forever to check in because the staff was more interested in chatting than getting me checked in. One in the room I realized it wasn’t the suite I booked. Had to go back down and argue with them about my reservation. Even after showing them the receipt of my booking a suite, they argued that they didn’t have it in their system as a suite. Thankfully we were eventually able to get the right room. The place is really run down and not a lot of amenities.

    The Elevators were broken. We were placed on the 4th floor. The entire stairwell (all stairwells) smelled like animal urine. Our room wasn't cleaned, wasn't swept, dirty towels, used soap amd plastic bags onnthe floor. The bed sheets had hair on them and stains. The toilet kept getting clogged.     Booked two rooms for a one night stay at this location. Based on the reviews, I expected that the area might be a little rundown, but many other reviews said the rooms would be clean. I personally would not recommend a stay at this location. When we arrived, the building was very rundown on the inside. It feels very much like an old apartment building instead of a hotel. The front office staff was very friendly and helpful when I had to request a switch for my parents’ room. I had booked an accessible room for my parents because of their health conditions. Unfortunately, that room was not clean. There was mud on the floor and what appeared to be a noticeable amount of blood on the wall in the bathroom. When we reported this, housekeeping denied it was blood and did not offer to clean it up. The front office staff switched the room, but there were no other accessible rooms available. My parents ended up just having to deal with trying to navigate a room without the added helps. Good price, friendly staff, but I would not consider this a clean or updated facility. I would not stay again.

    Was woken up at 2am to be told my the hotel manager we had to leave before 11am . When asked what the reason for . The suspected we where smoking vapes pens in the rooms. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE IN THE ROOM SMOKES. She said she had a smoke detector that told her other wise and she needed us out at 11am . Tried talking to. Them to explain this was a mistake . But all I was told the manager was not available . We had booked for 2 day and was told the security deposit and a 200$ charge was charge to my bank card for smoking in the room .
