The machine to get water was "out of order". The coffee machine was "out of order". I had to get written instructions on how to change the input on the TV before we could get it to come on. Our truck got a huge ding in the door that was a little upsetting.

The hotel did not include a slip resistant mat for the shower. The shower was very slippery. We had to put a towel on the bottom for safety. When we told them about that when we checked out, they said we had to ask for one. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and never had to ask for a mat for the shower. To me that’s a safety issue. It’s a lawsuit waiting to happen. Include the floor mats with the room.

Good price. Bathtub was slippery. Be careful. Ice machine wasn't working on our floor but was able to use one on another floor. Rooms are clean. Some furniture shows wear. Overall we will stay there again.

It had a dog area for my service dog. The bed wasn't bad. I didn't really hear the traffic from the freeway which was nice. I did not receive the refund of $50 that I was supposed to get after the check out. The front desk girls were not very friendly at check out. It was a place to lay my head for the night.

I stayed there for almost a week. Property is ok. Near amenities. Convenient location. Will stay there again if the price is right.

Stayed only for a few hours and that was not enough time to observe and comment about the property and overall service level. But, from what I observed, I guess at least they should have liquid cream with the coffee. Especially since they don’t have any breakfast offerings, at least they should serve a better coffee option.

We got 2 rooms- one was clean and smelled fine the other smelled awful and was dirty. The check in takes a very long time because in addition the regular paperwork-you must show your driver license and have it photocopied for every person staying in the room- this process took much longer than it seems like it should have for 4 of us. We were already exhausted and this just added to it. Any staff we dealt with just seemed annoyed that we were there. I would definitely not stay here again.

Front desk person (unknown name, afro-hair) was obviously not interested in greeting a new patron because He was rather "quick" with checking us in for the first time. He Volunteered no information on or about the location of the room within the building. Absolutely NO ATTENTION/CONSIDERATION given to our PHYSICAL DISABILITIES and NO EFFORT TO ACCOMMODATE OUR LIMITED PHYSICAL MOBILITY, as requested in our INITIAL RESERVATION, as we were assigned a room on the 3RD FLOOR (which in itself was no issue since we had access to the elevator) however, the actual room turned out to be an excessively long walk nearly the full length of the entire building on the third-floor. That room accommodation was the FURTHEST FROM THE MAIN ELEVATOR (room number 349)! Can you imagine the physical stress WITH LUGGAGE?? The Room REFRIGERATOR WAS NOT WORKING with the temperature control set on High. Upon notifying the Front Desk Staff and requesting a change of room assignment (the same individual who checked us in), we were told that sometimes if WE would just "JIGGLE" the control knob, it usually works for fixing the problem. I guess we were "fortunate" because the "jiggling" of the temperature control knob finally got the refrigerator working. This room (#349) provided Two separate beds with mattresses having the comfort of sleeping on the equivalent of "cardboard-covered-plywood boards." The bedframes are METAL with corners protruding, (hidden from sight by the sheets and comforter overhang) which for an UNAWARE GUEST, provided very, very PAINFUL BRUISING to our lower legs (shin bones) upon making contact with those Bedframe Corners the first couple of times while moving around the beds. Lastly, we had to place towels inside the Shower-tub, on the tub floor, to help prevent slipping while standing and taking a shower.

Staff acted like they didn't want to talk to you. Check-in behind glass and gave off an unwelcoming feel. There was a car parked outside our room window that began to play music very loudly at 12:30am. We put up with it for about an hour before calling the front desk 4-5 times to get it addressed before the front desk said they would go out and see what's going on "themselves" about 3:30am when it finally stopped. I don't think they even tried to do anything about it before then because we heard them go out and back in after our final call.

The evening staff girl was very friendly. However, the luggage rack was bent previously. The door deadbolt did not work. The shower curtain just barely kept water from leaking. The shower curtain rod was too high. There was dirt/dust on the entertainment center.

The parking is easily accessible and the air conditioning worked well. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The room cleanliness was just ok. The pool looks nice but we didn't use it. Allowing pets was great and there is a very nice grass area for pets. They also supply animal was bags This stay was a lot better than my previous stay just a few weeks ago. The location was not bad for going to the Mayo Clinic and there were restaurants and grocery stores not far away. The area is a bit sketchy but we haven't experienced and issues.

Easy highway access, plenty of places to eat, hike, visit. No refrigerator, would be a huge (!) improvement. Grocery store across the street.

The access road to get to the Inn is not marked or lit at night so I passed it the first time and had to circle around to get back into the driveway to the Inn. No breakfast, two coffee machines but only one worked. Sign posted on the elevator upon check in that said the elevators were down for a couple of hours for maintenance, the sign was still up five days later and we had to carry our luggage and gear up and down to the third floor everyday for five days, guests were helping each other with luggage as there was no staff to assist. The TV went out on the second night and I had to troubleshoot it as the hotel staff was unable to get it working. The air conditioner sounded like a monster truck idling in the room all night. Dog poop in the public areas outside so watch where you walk! Most of the shops and eateries nearby close early. Elevator never worked the whole time we were there.

Elevator was not working for our entire 3 day visit. Pool area not set up for those to enjoy the pool-no table and chairs to sit at. There were 4 lounging Adirondack chairs for the entire pool area that were secured to a fence so you had to ask for them to be moved. No pool towels. Some of the staff were nice and helpful others not at all.

I poured myself a cup of Mountain Dew and put it on the nightstand, next to my bed, as I watched TV. About 15 minutes later, I reached over to grab my drink and there was a cockroach crawling up the side of the cup. I called downstairs and told them I was leaving. I had a hard time getting my remaining days credited back. Never will I stay there again!

Tv always had to be reset. Remote batteries bad. Water softening made soap impossible to wash off.

Staff was courteous. Rooms were kept up at a bare minimum. In a 2 double bed room, one bed was made and the other not made, if made at all. The ice bucket was only maintained twice in the week we were there. Towels were replaced consistently. Everything worked in the room. I'd say its a basic room, definitely not fancy. Wifi was fine though we didn't use it for anything but scrolling social media and watching videos.

At first sight I was a little worried but the room was pretty clean and it didn’t smell bad like some hotels that try to cover up stank. Everything worked well. Mattress was pretty comfortable but the pillows were not. No fridge, coffee pot or microwave. Coffee in the lounge area though. We were lucky enough to stay on the opposite side of the freeway so it was quiet. We didn’t use the pool but it looked nice. It was affordable and I would stay again.

Generally a clean facility, fair price, friendly staff, beds are "okay." Fridges/microwave ONLY in specific rooms, like "premier" (make SURE before you book! Very disappointing for us.) Shower / tub surface perfectly smooth, risky to stand up; you must lay down a towel in there to avoid slipping; Pool not heated at all; so cold it was unpleasant (I saw one person in there the entire time; I tried it and gave up.) I would stay here again if I had no other choice; it's not "bad," but the issues I raise are important.

Certainly what I expected. Surroundings challenged by presence of locally unhoused population. Yet property was in remarkably good shape. Tile floors in bathrooms, security clearance in place with locked entry doors throughout. Overnight stay was disturbed by someone pounding loudly at 4am one morning. Proximity was why we chose the property and reason why we were satisfied based upon what we paid compared to other luxury accommodations in the area.

The staff wasn’t friendly, didn’t explain anything like were our room was or anything like that. When we got to the room the remote control was broken and when my son tried to watch tv the controller didn’t work so we were not able to us the tv. Just a overall bad experience.

The room was decent. Good enough for a shower and to sleep, but not to lounge and relax in. The desk chair upholstery was old and torn. The remote control for the tv didn’t work even though I followed the directions that was provided. The check in attendant was not welcoming but did his job. The check out attendant was nice. Might stay here again if the nightly price is discounted.

Rooms are good, but I had a poor experience with the booking person. I booked for pay later and they cancelled it stating payment haven’t gone through. Also they mentioned some random card number which is not the one which I linked. Now I had to payment double the amount which I was booked. So embarrassing and last min I could not argue with the receptionist.

First night I stayed the person that checked me in made me feel like I was a burden. The other days the staff was friendly and welcoming.

The television did not work , no shampoo, and staff was not nice or welcoming . The room was clean but the bathtub was too slippery.

They charge $20 for 24 hours of charging an electric vehicle. Not all employees know how to turn the charging station on. When I checked in, the front desk assisted with making the charging station active. When I woke up in the morning and asked the front desk to turn the charging station on she said no one had told her how to do that. I had to tell the front desk employee the process for turning the charging station on. The charging station is slow. For a Tesla it requires 8 hours of charging to reach full charge. Training and communication between night and morning staff needs to be completed. I checked out at 6:15 am with the overnight front desk. I turned in my keys. At 11:35 am the hotel called me and asked if I was checking out? So the front desk person I turned my keys into at 6:15 am never completed my check out? I was also charged a $50 deposit which was never returned and the room was left in impeccable condition only needing to do light cleaning and laundry of towels etc.

It was a place to sleep so if you just need just basic, it's fine. The bed was very hard, the ADA shower had a floor that was icky, (I can't speak for bathrooms in other rooms) and the lady on staff at night was not very friendly but maybe she was having a bad day. The heat and AC worked fine.

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean. There was a smell in the hallway. The room was small, a child could hardly squeeze between the bed and the wall. There was no table, chair, desk, or luggage stand to put anything on. They were skimpy with their towels. There were only 2 in the room when the room was booked for 4 people.They would only give you one extra towel at a time. The neighborhood/area was not the nicest, with litter, and sketchy people (not on hotel grounds). We were traveling with children so I would not recommend if that sort of thing bothers you.

Bath tub was so slick i slipped and almost fell several times. The tub floor seemed weird with a sloped bottom. The desk chairs looked like wolverine got a hold of them. The tv was way too small. The hallway smelled like weed. The whole place seemed drab and dreary with a much needed refresh. I picked the hotel because it was a Wyndham affiliate and thought it would be nice. Disappointed.

The overall condition of the hotel was good. The rooms are more renovated than the halls. They still have carpet. Rooms do not. The deposit at this hotel is minimal compared to others. There are unhoused people in area but I didn’t seem to come on to the property so we didn’t feel unsafe. The beds aren’t very comfortable and there are two small pillows per bed. But it wasn’t terrible.

Dangerous noxious fumes in the room. Suspect mold from heating system. Stayed one night and left also located in a very blighted area of North Phoenix. Surrounded by homeless people. This place should be shut down.

The hotel was close to the fields that our kids were playing on for the weekend so booked it. The stay was ok. The check in guy hardly spoke to me but I’ve been met with worse. The room was decent, could have been cleaned better, there was what looked like dried blood on an outlet but I didn’t inspect closer, but again we’ve seen worse and for more money. The best are not comfortable and you’re given 2 flat pillows per bed so added to the uncomfortable sleep. It was quiet and though the lot was full at night I hardly actually saw other people so didn’t feel crowded. Overall it’s a hotel lining the freeway, but could be better.

Upon arrival the evening service desk individual had zero customer service skills didn’t greet nor provide welcoming service (reminded me of eeyore from Winnie the Pooh) Elevator interior floor was ducked taped together everywhere. Our room felt like a hotel room from those cheap 50 dollar night sketchy ones. The bed was not comfortable at all and the pillows…..Jesus the pillows….felt like a compressed loaf of bread and the more you lay down on it the flatter they got.

Room was alright but pillows were pretty bad. Vending machine stole $4 from me after freezing after Apple Pay was accepted.

We stayed at several budget motels on our trip, and this one was the closest to a step above "budget" in terms of cleanliness, amenities, appearance, comfort, etc. This was my favorite motel. I would stay in a Red Roof any time!

Good place for the price would stay again

The front desk staff were all lovely. My room was spotless, there was cleaning and polishing going on all the time and it shows. The pool looked sparkling.

Staff is helpful and friendly and the house keeping is wonderful.

Beds were hard and uncomfortable.

Clean rooms, great hospitality, except around the area, in the parking lot was not too safe. There were quite a few homeless and other sellers of drugs and such. There was security around so we were safe. Thank you for having us stay at your hotel!

They did welcome pets I didn’t have any but did see others. There were no activities but overall the hotel wasn’t bad. We felt safe there no homeless were hanging around the building. Also seen the police driving around building. The pool states open year around but there were no chairs to enjoy the pool.

Room was clean enough but very dated. Staff was friendly and available and made sure guests were attended to and amenities were made available. Linens were clean and comfortable and beds were comfortable.

It was fine. Exactly what you’d expect from a cheaper room. We were happy that it felt safer than most in an area like the one it’s in. We never felt unsafe. Bed is fairly comfortable especially seeing as how we normally stay at a bit nicer places. Would recommend for the price for sure. Don’t expect a 5 star when paying an affordable price.

They made the reservation and told them that I was gonna later because I was driving from California to Phoenix when I got there the guy was so rude. I literally had to beg for him to like let me sing once I’m there the key doesn’t work. I’m trying to open the door three girls open the door. One of them smell like weed in the other one pupils were dilated and they were Literally druggies. as I’m attempting to walk into my room here comes another pothead. I just felt really unsafe so I went to the front and I just dropped apart them. I don’t need that I drive 11 miles away from the freeway that I was at when I was inconvenient in every aspect. Definitely not safe to stay specially if you’re traveling alone and a woman.

the guy with the curly hair that works at night shift is super super awesome very kind and has made a wonderful impact on our great stay at Red roof inn on Bell.. and this other cleaning lady that is super super nice.. we would stay longer we just can't afford the price

The room was a very average room but for the price it was pretty good. The bathroom door didnt have a lock and the air conditioner took forever to get cold but other than that it wasnt too bad.

It was a good stay.

Everything was good until I took my suitcase to the car at 5 am. I had forgotten my room key and couldn't get back into the hotel. I pounded on the doors and yelled repeatedly but no answer. I drove to a store and borrowed a cell phone to call the hotel and no answer. No one was at the desk when I needed them. I was outside for 40 minutes in the heat in Phoenix. I was really upset.

After a nightmare experience at another hotel in another city, Red Roof Inn was a total lifesaver. From the moment we checked in, the staff was extremely friendly, the room was spotless, and everything just felt right. It was exactly the reset we needed—comfortable, clean, and welcoming. This place turned our trip around, and we’ll be choosing them first next time.

I have an issue with this hotel. The only reason I booked here was because your site showed they had EV charging available. When I arrived, the front desk was not helpful, didn’t know what I was taking about, and dismissed my request. I drove around their parking lot and found the EV charging parking spots, but they didn’t work. I would’ve stayed elsewhere, especially because this hotel was in a bad neighborhood and was out of my way. The whole point was the convenience of free charging, and that didn’t happen.

Everything was great! No issues or problems. No homeless crowding the area..so that was a plus!!

The entire property reeked of marijuana smoke, especially around the entry, but it wasn't bad in the room. It took a long time to get a clerks attention to check in, in the early evening hours.

Blah! Duct Tape on the elevator floor and light didnt work in Elevator. Coffee was water. Vending machines had stale snacks.

the sheets were stained, there was a vomit looking stain on the TOP of the curtain, maintenance came in ONCE even though the sign for cleaning was hung after we left for the evening. the one time they “cleaned” the room the bed was half assed made.

Very quiet and staff was very helpful

I chose this hotel bc it was close to the highway. The bathroom was the only clean room in the double queen bed. The floors were dirty, the beds were hard, the pillows were iild and hard and I fould a long brown hair under my pillow. The a/c was very noisy. You have to park further away if you are using a moving truck. Difficult to get back to the highway with a 26' truck

The property was at a dead end road, although had an access to the main highway. The pool area was located on the back side of the property, which allowed some privacy. There was plenty of parking on all sides of the property, the facility was located within a mile of dining and shopping options. The room was open and provided a desk for work, having a coffee maker, tv, fridge with freezer, open closet, and sink area.

Better than expected

They originally put us in a dirty room. In the morning they asked for coffee in the lobby (obviously there was no coffee made) we were told from whoever was at the front desk that they didnt know how to make coffee!!

Staff receptionist was quick and efficient. Room was nice, clean and equiped. The only issue was that it was real noisy coming to 1 am the noise settled abit. Alot of kids screaming and running down the hall. Outside was decent not bad for the location next to the highway
