They canceled my room because of my arrival time with out calling me, arrived to the property and they told me they canceled my reservation. They said they could rebook my reservation for a higher cost then what I was going to pay, plus also my a early check in fee as well I was very upset so I left and drove back home. Very upset about the whole stay and was not happy.

I honestly did not like a single thing about this motel. Even before checking in, my experience was horrible. I arrived about 20 minutes before check in time and I was met with a line all the way outside the doors. When It was finally my turn, I was greeted with a very rude front desk employee. He asked me to write a review and give him a good review before I even checked in. He told me where my room was at, and to use the elevator. When I got to the elevator it was out of order. Once I climbed the 3 flights of stairs to get to my room, the smell of urine and mold was horrible as soon as I opened the door. The carpets were filthy, and there was no shower curtain in the restroom. The sink was clogged and there was dog food in the closet. The bed sheets were visibly dirty. It was a horrible, horrible experience.

It was close to the children’s hospital. There were so many stains on the carpets and holes in bedding and I had to remove all the sheets and blankets from the bed to put on the sticky floor just so my grandson can crawl around.

This motel is DISGUSTING!!!!! When we got to the hotel they did not have my booking. They said it was a problem I would have to take up with Booking.com and then they made me pay for another room. We did not even stay there because it is so disgusting and filthy and scary. I would take them off your booking site because they are AWFUL!!!!!! EVERYTHING!!!

hotel is an old embassy suites that has been run down. They are trying to slowly renovate the rooms, but they need a LOT of work. Building and rooms need a lot of maintenance. Staff on the other hand was actually AWESOME to deal with and very helpful.

the only thing was the proximity to where I needed to be in the Vally ! Where do I start ? Very dirty !!! Pool absolutely disgusting. No shampoo and the one bar of soap was awful and burned my face . Wifi was very spotty . Stains on furniture and carpet . 2 of the 4 elevators didn’t work. Smelled of cigarette smoke . Women who appeared to be hookers around and there was one room advertising tamales for sale on signs throughout the property and signs on the door. Just weird . Rooms are large but gross . Staff is unreachable about any issues . If I had to stay more than a night I absolutely would have done why I could do make other arrangements.

Nothing It was in a bad area. I did not feel safe at all. I checked in late and there were a lot of shady people walking around outside when I checked in. When I went out to go park out back and enter through the “security” gate. It wasn’t locked and propped open. The rum had a musky smell to it. The room was so cold and I couldn’t get the thermostat to warm up the room so I ended up in sweats socks and a hoodie sleeping under blankets that I wasn’t sure were clean. The shower in the morning was so hot I couldn’t shower. I finally figured out that if I ran the water in the sink long enough the shower water cooled off (20 minutes!)

Deposit. It's a new thing to have a deposit at motel 6 . Also, the $25 early check-in fee is ridiculous.

I had no hot water for two days

There was random hair and toilet paper on the bathroom floor upon arriving to my room. The re was stains and burn holes on both beds white bedding. There was an unknown fluid stuck on the armor and table/counter tops like nobody has wiped down in years. There was no soap to wash our hands. The sofa and chairs were covered in gross looking spots I didn’t feel comfortable sitting on them without laying down a towel. From the outside the hotel looks nice and so does the pool area however during my stay the pool was filled with debris and the hotline water was yellow and also filled with even more debris (so I didn’t even get to use those). This hotel isn’t worth 60$/night let alone the 128$/night I spent. It is filthy in the rooms. But a pretty courtyard

This was, by far, the worst place I have ever stayed. It was filthy with cigarette burns everywhere and mold and peeling paint in the bathroom. Both the exterior screen window and the balcony screen door had been pried out of their frame before and sloppily re-set. Absolutely repulsive. I stayed one night because it was already when I checked in, but then escaped to a real hotel immediately in the morning.

I e machine was far away. Not so good part of town. Old hotel, seems like they were doing some work on the plumbing.

On the other hand Shevit who works in the office in the morning is fantastic , she listens to our problems professional always has a smile , try's to get results. April I think she's the manager is also Great , helpful, professional but can get a little loud. I'm not sure about this other lady's name but I think she supervisor of the maids. She is very rude not helpful treats us customers like were trash, for instance :i oat my room in advance for weeks this lady will sometime come barging in the room asking are we staying really ! Look at the schedule woman or can she read? Also the chairs in my room are old and worn out , she was passing by one day i ask her can we get new chairs she didn't acknowledge me kept walking and said "Wr don't have " she could have stopped to llook at them and said something like I'll check right.

Holes in end table, trash still in waste basket, carpet stains from entrance through to the bedroom. Original furniture, curtains and carpet from the eighties. Wallpaper peeling. Several outlets did not function. Very sketchy place, did not feel safe. Don’t believe the pictures online.

They sold my room to someone else even though I had a reservation

There was a ton of block mold in the bathroom and there was no hot water so I had to take a cold shower and they failed to disclose that they didn't have hot water when I checked in. Absolutely unacceptable! This place was terrible.

Property in need of some TLC. very dirty outside areas -trash, etc. Interior room furniture in need of repair (chairs).dings in walls, etc. Although property non smoking several people smoking outside of rooms, on stairwells, etc that was brought into room via AC/vents. No toiletries in room , elevator and fitness center closed

The hotel is a “studio” as well and the local low lives stay there. Drugs, loud, dirty, unsafe. Do not stay here.

the front desk staff is amazing, it's not their fault that the grounds are not kept up by maintenance , the employees that clean the room do bare minimum and it shows. what it states online is false advertising there is nothing offered at this facility other than the pool for guest the rooms do not have coffee pots they do have microwave and refrigerator but beware they are loaded with roaches

I attempted to chatting with chat help and had no resolution as the customer service stating diconnection only to pop up and then ended out communication.There was not one clean area. Parking had some very sketchy vehicles with dust on them ( looked abandoned) and broken windows.it looked as if there was no cleaning service. Many hotel doors looked damaged with bend doorknobs, wood missing from door.

I was assigned a room that was not prepared for guests. The bed had no linen, the room was dirty, and the bathroom had no basic toiletries like shampoo. Concerningly, the fire alarm had been ripped from the wall. I didn’t stay. I would not feel comfortable recommending this hotel to anyone.

Absolutely nothing My family and I were staying there in between landing in Phoenix and going to Yuma the next day. My daughter and I showed up at the hotel right before check-in. I know the neighborhood it was in was not the best. I pulled into the parking lot and saw a car missing its tires and wheels and up on cinderblocks. I saw a bomb homeless person sleeping in the back parking lot against the fence. I saw two men trying to open the door and the hood of a vehicle. I saw a woman come out of one of the rooms, pulling her top down. This is not an environment. I want to expose my minor children to let alone did not feel safe staying in. I spoke to the clerk over the phone and she told me she couldn’t do anything for me because it was booked by a third-party. Your ad on booking.com was misleading, I would like a full refund as soon as possible or I will dispute the charges. I appreciate your immediate attention to this request.

No breakfast was available Well I was there for a few weeks I experienced no water in my room and least 4 days a week with no notice. Only one elevator worked. No laundry room problem getting towels or sheets . THEN MY RIDE WAS LATE AND I DIDN'T GET ALL MY BELONGINGS OUT OF ROOM TIL 11:18 AM AND THEY KEPT MY DEPOSIT. VERY UPSET

Parking was easy. The conditions on the interior were bad. There was dog excrement on the sidewalks, elevators were dirty.

This place is so gross. Walking into the lobby weed smell. Rooms smell horrible even tho its a "non smoking room". It still smell like an ashtray and like mold, everything was dirty and old looking. Loud people outside with the "security" guy. Beds.... One was hard as a rock, the other one sank to the floor. Don't be fooled with the nice pics of this nasty place. I'm so grossed out. When I checked out.. they didn't bother to ask how was my stay. I'm sure they knew. This place needs to be closed down.

Had an issue with Expedia not booking my room after my package deal! This stay was booked up and not able to accommodate my room, to no fault of their own. The office attendant Harvey was great, helped me get lined out for another place!

Not good starting with checking in had us waiting exactly at 3pm and had a super long line and only one staff member checking everyone in and in room we never had cold water to shower water was always super hot. We only stood there one night and left the following day couldn’t stand not taking a shower with super hot water when the outside temperature was 107* we will request our refund immediately.

I arrived after travelling internationally with two children to find out that the motel cancelled my reservation because they “ could get more money from other people” I showed my confirmation from Expedia and the guy at the front desk said well call Expedia so I did and they called the front desk but the guy refused to answer the first time Expedia called, he answered the second time and ended up saying all he could offer me was a room for twice at the price I had initially booked for he then hung up on the Expedia representative. We overheard him on a phone call with his manager who was saying it’s money over people. We heard other people having similar experiences at the front desk. We heard the man offer Some people better rates if they gave promised to give him a good review. This was a horrible experience and I would not want anyone else to ever go through it. Please don’t consider staying at this property.

The place was not very clean. All sorts of riffraff was staying there making all sorts of noise all night long. And they never returned my deposit.

Subject: Formal Dispute and Refund Request – Motel 6 Booking To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally dispute the charge of $100 for a hotel stay that I booked through Expedia using Affirm financing due to my flight back to New York City being cancelled because of severe weather conditions. Because of the unexpected cancellation, I urgently needed accommodations and could not afford the additional nights at my previous hotel or the extremely high airline rebooking costs. I therefore booked a stay at Motel 6 through Expedia. Unfortunately, my experience at this location was unacceptable and far below basic health and safety standards. Before arriving, I called the hotel and was informed that early check-in would be available. However, when I arrived, I was told the room was not ready and I was forced to wait in the lobby for nearly two hours. During this time, the staff would not even allow me to use the restroom. At approximately 3:00 PM, the receptionist stated that the room was ready and collected my information. At that time, I was suddenly informed that the water in the room was not working. This was extremely frustrating because this information was not disclosed while I was waiting in the lobby for hours. Once I entered the room, the conditions were disturbing. The room had a very strong odor and was extremely dirty. The carpet, stairs, walls, and bed sheets were covered in stains and appeared unsanitary. I have photos and videos docum

I trued to contact hotels.com immediately both via a call and live, both the way was too much waiting time at least 50+ minutes waiting time. This is the worst experience I have ever had. I will never book a hotel from hotels.com to motel 6. Customer service should be much much better and convenient for the customers. The staff of the motel 6 were very rude and aggressive.

Terrible. During the two days we stayed there, we couldn't shower because the shower had no water; the sheets were visibly stained, the cleanliness was poor, the sink was clogged, there was very little toilet paper, and they do not provide daily housekeeping. When we requested repairs, they did nothing and didn't offer to move us to a different room. The man at the front desk was very rude—he even kicked us out of the hotel. Check-out extremely early. We wouldn't go back there even if it were free.

The good. Price is decent. The walls are concrete so it is super quiet between rooms. Plumbing works. A/C is the best. Rooms are very very big. The downside. It is very dated and run down. Everything you see in old 70s motel is what you see here. It’s old. It has that old Reno smell. The guests here are a bit… not bad but just… ya know. Would I stay here again? Maybe. Charged me additional charges but when questioned about it they said they didn’t charge me that and the place had a foul smell. The pool was filthy. The elevator didn’t work. They had holes in carpet and attempted to patch it. Dirty pillows and sheets, slept on top of the blankets. The shower had no hot water. Floor of shower was DISGUSTING! The room smelt as if I had been in a house of a former chain smoker who lived there for their whole life! No large trashcan in room. Only one remote but two TVs…. Definitely don’t recommend! The guy at the desk tried to have me do a google review so he could make some kind of commission off it before we even saw the hotel room….

The photos online make the place seem much nicer than it is. The rooms are a bit run down, theres no shampoo or conditioner provided, the pool looked dirty, the elevators were broken, and questionable characters frequented the area. It said no smoking on the property but it regularly smelled of different types of smoke around the lot. Theres not any usable WIFI despite jt being advertised. I wouldnt stay here again. They also under-refunded my deposit.

Dirty rooms, pool was not usable due to dirt and debris. Jacuzzi was marked as in repair so that was also unable to be used. There was a hole punched through the bedroom door. Bedroom door had hinges that were not attached. Torn carpet dirty carpet. No in-room coffee or hair dryer.

Lady assistant manager offered a full refund as we were not comfortable nor felt safe. We took 10 min to figure out what we should do and find another hotel ASAP. Then took another 15 min to find the lady assistant manager to get the refund. We were denied the full refund from male manager stating we spent 30 minutes in the room and therefore they will charge one night accommodation.

The front desk person informed me they just had a murder on the property moments ago and did I still want to check in. Apparently police had arrested the shooter and I was tired so checked in and went to sleep. Lots of sketchy characters and rooms under remodel but no major problems. Pool wasn’t clean.

Lack of cleaniness in room as well, hair from previous guest in shower and sink area. Cheapest option during busy travel time in Pheonix, large room was the only plus.

The parking per a resident who had been there for two months said there had been a few break ins in the back of the building parking area. I parked along the side but was suspicious of a few people sitting in their cars as if they were waiting for someone or something

My mom had heart procedure at a heart hospital 2 blocks away, hospital called it a homeless hotel. People where coming and going all through the am hours. Which we could hear because our room was right next to an iron gate that creaked opened and slammed closed every time..

This weekend was packed in Phoenix and they released my rooms after they were reserved. My sister was handcap and i had my senior dad with me and we had to stay in our vehicle because there were no rooms avaliable

There were cockaroaches everywhere and the room looked dirty and the beds looked very old and dirty. The TV did not work and there was no remote. The phone was not connected to the anything it was a fake phone. There was questionable substances on the couches and in the sink. There was hair all over the shower.

The nicest thing I can say is that it’s not the worst place I’ve ever stayed. Of course, 20-some years ago when I was young and foolish, things like cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal didn’t matter as much to me as it does now. Look, I know I chose a Motel 6. My husband and I needed a place to lay our heads for a quick night’s sleep after a long, delayed flight. We honestly didn’t think it would be that bad. But we were wrong. It was that bad. We were prepared to eat the $$ we paid for the room and go sleep in the car. The room, which is was spacious, smelled like weed and body odor. The walls were swollen in places and the bathroom ceiling was moldy. We found two electrical outlets that worked. The one beside the bathroom sink did not, so after my Luke-warm shower I dried my hair in the “kitchenette.” Our vista through our first-floor window included piles of glass bottles and some old, discarded towels. All of this could be dealt with, but the property just felt greasy and unsafe. If I had been traveling solo or without my husband, I wouldn’t have even exited my car. The bright spots? The sheets looked clean, I didn’t get any type of infestation, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Second room still smelled dank but at least had a curtain. Then the water would not turn off all night. One of biggest POS hotels I've ever stayed in. Avoid this like the plague. Well, you might catch a plague here so best of luck.

We heard stuff all night long, took showers that didn’t get hot, and never went to the pool which was dirty and had the same trash in it all four days we were there. Hot tub was out of order, as was the fitness area. Overall, I can’t believe they are passing code. Please stay away, especially is you have kids.

Everything was provided but needs a really good upgraded/remodeling especially the electrical, such as the switches, plugs, lamps and where the plugs were located. The furniture and the carpet also needs to be replace asap. The room was clean, had its towels, toilet paper, the linings/sheets seemed to be clean, but we had a hard time with plugs as they were located away from the beds and some didn’t work. Was having a hard time to connect my son’s nebulizer. The lamps were missing the lights bulbs and the switch from the entrance didn’t work and the one of the room when turning on the light was flickering. But definitely the carpet/sofa has to be replace as it smell like moldy and probably clean the a/c ducts. As soon we walked my son started to cough a lot and sneezing and couldn’t breathe well. So we end leaving the room and went somewhere else. I do want to Thanked the gentleman in the front desk. He was very polite and listened the reason why we couldn’t stay.

The staff were great nice and helpful! The room was like a small apartment for a great price, and parking was really convenient. You always felt safe as the security and front desk knew exactly who was and was not suppose to be there.. I will stay again when I return to Arizona.. :) thanks for the great stay!

One small bar of soap, no shampoo. The motel grounds ok, but walkways to rooms on ground floor were very dirty with spots of vomit, dog pee or what ever pee, food and coffee spills. Lobby was nice, clean and front desk attendants were nice. We were first given room 107, that was disgusting with cigarette smell and very dirty, so moved to room 110 and it still smelled pretty bad. I talked with 2 other people and they also said their rooms were very dirty and smelly. I would not recommend this motel to my worst enemy!

The person who checked us in was very friendly and helpful but the property was fairly clean but in very rough shape.

The room had stains all over the carpet. Room did not smell good. In the parking lot there was glass and a window smashed and shady people walking around. I didn't feel safe with my car parked in the lot. $50.00 Deposit was put on the room and when I checked out the man said it would credit back to my account and never was.

I had high hopes for this location due to reviews and pictures of this hotel, but unfortunately it was not a good place to stay. There was blood on the walls in different areas, animal hair on furniture, crumbs on couch, burn marks in the bathroom. The people going in and out of this place looked very unsavory/ questionable. The property was dirty especially in the elevator and smelled of urine. We checked in, walked into the room and immediately asked for a refund. Thankfully, who I am assuming was the owner did not give any push back and made the process easy. He seemed very remorseful of the situation. I thought I was going to have to fight for the refund. They did offer to clean the room or even give us a different room but at that point, I was no longer comfortable and we did not feel safe.

Absolutely appalling. After paying hotels.com for two rooms, I arrived and the man at the front desk said even though I booked and reserved it, they had no rooms available. It was 11:30pm after I flew across the country from Florida earlier that day. So me and co worker were left stranded with no place to go, even though my credit card was charged. One of the most frustrating and worst experiences Ive ever had in my life regarding a simple hotel booking. Absolutely horrendous.

Parking on the side of the building was ok. There were a number of people living in vehicles around the back though. The room hasn’t been updated since 1983, but the pillows were comfortable and the sheets were crisp and very clean. The property as a whole was pretty dismal and not at all like the pictures. Definitely not a 4-star property as listed on Expedia.

The room was beyond horrible. It reeked of years old cigarette and pot smoke and was quite filthy. Burn stains on the walls, torn up carpet, I felt dirty just standing in it. One bed was rock hard, the other was lumpy and seemed to be broken. Perhaps the other rooms are nicer, or at least less horrible, but that’s not the one I got.

They did not provide a room for us. We were forced to find alternative accommodations at the last minute after travelling all day. The attendant was rude and basically told we have no room and that expedia never booked the room. If I could give this establishment a negative score I would. I will be expecting a full refund and at the minimum a free night stay from expedia

I believe that in its day this was a lovely motel with suites. It has deteriorated terribly over the years. It should be fixed up, renovated, upgraded, etc. and then you could charge more rent.

Spacious room with a nice additional living area and sofa. Good location, plenty of parking, and a nice swimming pool. However, the internet wasn’t working, one elevator was out of service and the other under maintenance at checkout. Bathroom amenities were minimal (only soap), no coffee machine in the room, and complimentary coffee at reception ended too early @ 7:30 am. Overall, comfortable stay but amenities could be improved.

This Motel 6 needs a lot of work. Broken lamps, holes in rug, no bedspreads, no TV in bedroom. Handle on tub was broken so you could only shower. I think this must be a spring break hotel and visitors ruin the rooms, which are not repaired. I did appreciate the refrigerator and microwave, which both worked!

Misinformation and false advertising as far as I'm concerned. The room decor is extremely dated, beds are very hard, and the heat was stuck on even though it was 72 outside. The pool and hot tub are closed because they flood the lower level rooms. Continental breakfast does not exist as they do not have a kitchen to prepare anything, nor seating if they carried anything in. We looked to go elsewhere but everything was booked. Our 2nd night brought fights in the parking lot, security alarms going off, police were called twice. Elevators do not work and we were on the 3rd floor. This is a trap house, not a motel. The only positive experience we had was with the overnight front desk staff who were very understanding and helped they best they could.

I would leave 0 stars if I could. Made reservations through Hotels.com. When I went to check in, they claimed they had no reservation for us. The family in front of us were told the same thing. What it seems like to me is that the management CHOSES not to honor reservations in order to get last minute reservations at a jacked up price. They do not care how their actions affect anyone. The poor family in front of us had a small child, and here they are at 9pm with no place to stay. This motel 6 should be ashamed of themselves, but they aren’t. Looked straight in the dad’s face and said get a refund online, we don’t have a room for you. Disgusting!!!

It was NOT what i expected at all; obviously, it’s a motel so i already knew it wasn’t going to super nice. However, the room was filthy, there was brown/maroon (blood color) stains on carpet and wall. the whole area smelled like weed and drugs, the lights didn’t work, chairs were broken, table top was shattered, no room cleaning/checkings, the area VERY UNSAFE AND NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY. It was not a motel for guests only but people ACTUALLY LIVED THERE. Not discriminating at all but the people that lived there were not healthy people. i saw neighbors on fentanyl literally bend over outside of my room door.

The room was as expected for the rate; however, the AC/Heat did not work. The air filter was so dirty and clogged that the system could not recirculate the air, and therefore was no airflow in the room. There was no one onsite after 5pm who could replace the air filter, and they did not have any clean rooms available to switch me to. The temperature in the room was very uncomfortable, was unable to get restful sleep. The motel seemed to be where many families were living full time. Where do I start? How about the fact I didn't realize this was a rehab. I only found it by accident when I put the address in my map. We can continue with the grounds. They were filthy. Cigarette butts everywhere. Pot being smoked all over. Food dropped everywhere. The floor of the only working elevator was revolting and sticky the entire stay. No ice maker.

Room had cockroaches most of the outlets and lights didn’t work room still had trash like someone was in there minutes before we arrived . 1) The room was actually okay. It has a living area as well as two beds in a separate room. The shower never got hot, though. The good news stops there. 2) The deadbolt on the room didn’t work. That might be okay if the security latch wasn’t also coming out of the wall. If someone wanted to get in, they could’ve used a few shoulders and come in. I asked them two days in a row to fix it with no success. 3) This security situation mentioned above is even more urgent considering the people in and around the location. The neighborhood itself is not ideal and there are few food options around. It’s certainly not walkable. The parking lot is full of trash and strange people. Then we get to the interior of the motel itself. Kids are scooting around the hallways. Cops were at some room and in the parking lot doing something. The gate was left wide open each night when we got back. There was puke in one of the hallways too. At least it was cleaned up when we came back later. 4) I book at this price point and am certainly not a fancy person. But this is the first time I’ve felt unsafe and really considered leaving the first night. 5) Please be cautious and do extra homework on this place.

We pulled up and there were 6 police cars. It was nearly midnight and I had already paid for room. Got our room assignment and there was an officer outside door. Our slider doesn’t lock. At approximately 12:45 and officer pounded on our door and wanted to check our balcony because they believed people in room next to us threw something on it. I want our money back. I’m not going to sleep a wink.

There was a giant hole in the wall under the bathroom sink that had mold in it. The air vent had mold in it. The microwave was beyond filthy and didn't want to use it with how dirty it was. The water was shut off 3 different times. Every time the water was off, it'd be off for the entire day/night. I told staff about all of this just for things to be ignored and pushed to the side. I had to go to the emergency room during my stay there for a severe lung infection I had gotten. Probably ended up getting it from all the mold that was found later on. I will NEVER be staying there again. I also have pictures for proof of all the terrible and unsafe living conditions of that place. To not even be compensated at all is absolutely insane. I just lost my apartment because I had to dump all my savings into my mom's last breast cancer treatments so she can just be over and done with them finally. So I spent all the $ i had on copays to keep my mom alive, lost my apartment from it and my car. Spent the last $900 i had on a motel 6 for 2 weeks that ended up doing all of that to me. I'm just in absolute disbelief, it's honestly very sickening. Thank you

The staff at the front desk that I met were very nice, very accommodating and helpful. The room itself was good, the AC isn’t the best, but given the price pretty good. The beds were comfortable, there was a lot of space separate rooms for the kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedroom. The fridge was small, but effective. Now for the specific negatives. I stayed in Room 316, facing the TV on the right side, the bed was significantly harder than on the left side. My head went through the pillows, so I had to stack them to make them comfortable enough to be a pillow. The biggest negative was the shower. There was what appears to be mold in the shower itself, so for that reason I decided a shower wasn’t worth it.

Didn’t appear to be the better of areas. Seems like an unsafe area. I’m not one to complain but I wouldn’t stay here again. As a visitor I didn’t know the area but later learned this isn’t the area to stay in.

Where to start? First off, Motel six should be ashamed to have their name over the hotel. I would suggest that they remove that particular hotel from their branding/franchise. The only reason that we stayed at that particular hotel was for two things, my husband was getting multiple different surgeries on his eyes and we would be multiple hours away, and the review stated it was a decent property. There is absolutely no heat available in any rooms and we stayed there for nearly a week. The couch and chairs reeked of urine. The toilet did not flush at all and backed up even without toilet paper in it. We tried for days to change to a different room Without Success until I escalated with Expedia. The hotel itself is surrounded by homeless people and prostitutes and people who have the fentanyl fold. The police were called in daily to handle different things. Everything was absolutely dirty and required for us to purchase our own cleaning chemicals as well as a heater just to stay warm at night when it was dropping down below 50. This is by far the worst Motel 6 we have ever stayed in. Had it have not been for lots of medical bills and appointments we were dealing with, we would have just left for another location.. Also, if you ever have problems with this property and you use a third-party vendor, do not ever expect the manager or any of the staff to answer the phone to get a refund or a resolution. I was literally standing in the lobby when an agent from Expedia was calling.

The location. There were 3 Phoenix police vehicles there when i arrived. I had a homeless person approach me within 2 minutes of pulling in asking to help him vharhe his phone. I felt uncomfortable opening my camper van and gathering my belongings with him there. I went and checked in. After checking in i went to go to my van to get my things. On the way to my van i was asked by someone else i i had any meth i could give her. I told her no . Then she asked about cigarettes. My van isnt super exspensive but i felt uncomfortable staying there and leaving my vehicle unatended. I left amd went to a planet fitness and stayrd in my van. charge his phone

Decent stay for the price. Staff was great, room was huge and clean, bed was comfy and shower was good. Facilities were a little run down, lots of homeless/transient people hanging around, and the WiFi was poor. Overall worked fine for us for a night.

If you like, watching Tweaker and crackheads all throughout your vacation, this is the hotel to be at!!! they’re walking throughout the lobby. I think some of them are living there. It was just a big mess unsanitary dirty. Will not be coming back.

Terrible hotel in every way the worse customer service you will find the girl checking me in was talking to a friend the whole time via headphones hidden behind her hair, and I kept asking "what" thinking she was talking to me. A total mess of a property. Motel 6 corporate needs to get involved.

The hotel is neglected, and I had added an additional night that upon check in was cancelled. No accommodations were offered and came back the next day to check in. at the time of check a break in was occurring and security was called and had me waiting for a long time so needless to say I requested for my money back and cancelled by resevation right there and then.

The room was non smoking but had a very heavy smoke smell. The sheets were dirty. There was a paper towel in the kitchen with bllood on it. There was a fake nail on the floor in the bathroom. Overall very dirty and run down.

I arrived at 2am from Northern California and was driving for 30 hours. All I wanted was to check in and get in bed. Well. It was dirty and disgusting and there was no way I could stay. I checked out and found me somewhere else to stay. This hotel should not be allowed to stay open . The rooms were disgusting.

Unsafe area. Pet urine stains on carpet. Urine smell in room. Asked staff for cleaning supplies to limit the smell was told there was no cleaning supplies for us to use but we could buy our own. Staff made us feel like we were asking for too much when we just wanted air freshener. Light switches broken. Electrical wiring exposed. When we would leave the room, the key would stop working. We would have to go to the office and get our key reprogrammed in order to enter the room

The room was supposed to be non-smoking and absolutely wreaked of stale old cigarette smoke. Only half of the lights and outlets worked. The room safe didn't work. The carpet was held down with duct tape. There was black mold in the bathroom.

Stayed for 2 nights, the second night, someone was trying to get in our room at 1 AM. The front desk double booked our room. Was not pleased.

Area is a little rough. Nothing that can be done about that. Very loud area. Carpets were very dirty and stained. Mattress was dirty as well. Lighting in the hotel was dark and dim.

To loud all night people fighting and moving back and forth, curtains were damage , could not close them. Lights flashing in the room , tv remote not good.

Affordable to stay at, well placed around phoenix, but the beds, bathrooms and living areas could use some serious cleaning and re-modeling.

This place is nasty, nothing close to the photos on expedia. We saw our room and turned around and checked out. We are awaiting or money to be returned. At least the gal at the front desk was nice and tried her best. Apparently the photos posted were taken back in the day before the place was used as a rehab facility.

The room was dirty an wet from the Air condition. Pillow cases an towels were moldy and dirty. Wifi never worked. Yes the money was small but i still think i was overcharged for that condition.

Over all this place was Absolutely disgusting and I cannot believe that this establishment has the audacity to “charge” A deposit and tells you that they will refund it when the room is checked!! Do not stay at this location !!!

When checking into the hotel the desk had to check and see if there was anyone in the room prior to letting me check in, proceed to the room was told to only use a certain elevator so I did and the doors would not open when I got to the floor proceeded back to the lobby and the door only opened an inch had to pry door open to get out… when finally got to the room I went in and the table was sticky the bathroom was disgustingly dirty like someone had just used it. the blinds did not close all the way…. With that being said had a very large man tap on the window and ask if I had seen a white dog or had it in there with me as he was stairing right into the room…. At that point I went back down to the desk and told them I could not stay here I feared for my safety “she stated done already” I would like a refund and do not recommend this property to any one it almost seems as if they rent by the hour.… expedia you should not list the facility as one of you properties you promote very unsafe and dirty!

The rooms are mildew and mold infested. The smell is horrible. Hair was still in the tub at check in and mold around tub. Refrigerator was nasty. Other longterm guest is running a lot lizard HOUSE. Women in and out of different rooms all night. You can hear the noises coming from the rooms. (If you know what I mean)

The room was decent , however I assume the room's carpet had been recently cleaned. It was damp in places, and literally soaked between the bed and sliding glass door. That possibly had something to do with the humid/sticky feel to the room. The A/C never got ahead of the humidity. Lastly, I personally did not appreciate the front desk clerk wearing a very visible "JUICY" necklace. It was not a pleasant first impression. I was VERY close to staying somewhere else.

I couldn’t sleep. I had to sit outside balcony till 6am when I checked out even though I had paid for more days of stay. They can’t provide even bottled water. The staff are ok but they lack customer care service . If you want to checkout early, they can’t refund as they claim that they don’t refund if you paid online 😞😞 I have never experienced such embarrassment like this! Guys your health is your responsibility . Don’t be fooled by the AI about this hotel.Its not worth it

The staff in general were great, very welcoming and hospitable, and they were able to accommodate an early check-in. Property itself is older and it shows, its clean enough for what youre paying. It rained the entirety of my visit (rare for PHX, I know) and my room ended up having a leak in the ceiling. Also, just little things, but the toilet dripped, the shower never got very hot, and it smelled strongly of cigarettes and cannabis when i walked into my room, likely due to its position near the courtyard. The long-term tenants tend to be a bit noisy too, especially the dogs. Overall okay, but the staff were mostly really great, in particular the manager.

If you're looking for a bargain stay near the airport, this hotel pops up close to the top of your search results, but the area is pretty sketchy with limited nearby dining options. The rooms are cleanish but shabby and worn with lots of patches and missing elements (like toilet paper and shampoo! No shampoo on site apparently.) The "residents" of the hotel all seemed to have rage issues with one guy screaming at someone as he shut the door so hard the walls ratted. Another kicked and cursed the elevator door using choice language as the doors closed too fast. If you can afford the extra $20 to $30, head to another option. PS Despite what the Expedia listings say, there is no airport shuttle here.

Upon arrival, we noticed an alarming amount of riffraff on the property, and a large homeless encampment was set up across the street, which made the area feel very unsafe. One of the elevators was also out of service. When we entered our assigned room, we were immediately overwhelmed by a strong odor of sewage, urine, and stale cigarette smoke. The room itself was in appalling condition. There appeared to be bloody residue on the wall, graffiti in the door frames, and carpet pulled up in several areas. The shower contained leftover bar soap from a previous guest, and the toilet seat was covered in a grimy film. There were cigarette burns on the nightstands and dirty handprints on the walls. This location is clearly not being properly cleaned, maintained, or monitored for guest safety. It’s difficult to understand how it continues to operate or receive positive reviews given its current state. We left immediately without staying the night. While my security deposit was refunded, the room charge was not, despite the unacceptable conditions. I am requesting a full refund for this stay and for this matter to be escalated for review and corrective action. I have retained photos and documentation of the room conditions and am happy to provide them upon request. I sent an email and 20+ photos to corporate.

Smelled so bad, poop in the breezeway, no way to lock the sliding door, mold in bathroom, homeless people smoking drugs in the beezeway and was also unlocked for anyone to get in. Room was ok. Sink had hair. Smelled of smoke. There were a lot of people hanging around. Garbage,was stacked in piles by outside trash cans, like people lived there. There was literally feces along the hallway leading to my room. I didn’t have a key to enter my room because it wasn’t working. Security had to let me in.

The person at the front desk was brand new and was unable to find my reservations and said he thought they were sold out so I wasn't given a room. It honestly was a godsend because it honestly looked sketchy and i felt unsafe so thankfully I found something much better. So buyer beware.

The police were in the driveway when I pulled in and when I asked the desk attendant if the area was safe, she paused to answer me, then said no. We found bugs and flies and something bad left in the mini fridge, you get what you pay for! Lesson learned!

I booked a package deal—hotel, flight, and rental car—through Expedia. Upon arriving around 3:30 PM on September 8th, I was informed that I owed $415.16 for my stay. I explained that I had already paid through Expedia, but the front desk attendant insisted that I hadn't and that payment was required at the property. This is not something I would ever agree to, especially when booking through Expedia. I paid the amount to finally get to my room, which took an unnecessarily long additional hour. I only stayed one night out of the four I had booked and checked out on September 9th, and I still haven't received my refund. To make matters worse, another guest's card was linked to my booking, and my checkout date was incorrect. I believe the front desk attendant's lack of knowledge led to a complete mess of my reservation. The pool was unclean, the hot tub was cold with a newspaper inside, and the room was in poor condition. I'm glad I left after just one night.

The property was run-down and had what appeared to be homeless people hanging around in the lobby and beyond. The elevator was filthy and the room we were given smelled of urine and cigarette smoke. Upon complaining to the front desk, and wanting to cancel our reservation, we were told that we had to contact the reservation site itself. After that, the reservation site stated we had to cancel through the property. Then we were told the manager was gone and couldn’t deal with our situation and I would have to talk to him in the morning. In the meantime, we had to stay in that filthy hotel room overnight.

The hotel ITSELF is not so bad the room was nice and spacious and a little clean but had to buy our own batteries for the remote cause the staff couldn’t find any and our tv was stuck on the kids channel. There was a lot of shady people around and felt a bit sketchy, the cops were constantly there. Even management who approved us to be refunded said they were on their last days because of the "rif raf" idk about that but hookers pimps and heavy drug activity are allowed on this property even non guest are allowed to be loitering i felt so unsafe and not just because of that but it was so dirty ibwas afraid of bugs...we booked to be close to the hospital where our grandson had open heart surgery, but ended up staying a couple miles further in the end but way better place...even after hotel refunded money to hotel took me pulling teeth to get my refund, so disappointed 😞

This property is old, tired and dated. There isn’t even a phone in the room. The carpeting throughout is dirty and stained. You can feel the springs in the mattress when you sit on it. Property smelled of weed. This isn’t even up to budget hotel standards.

Motel's address was not posted on web site & Google maps sent us to the wrong location, That Motel 6 then sent us to another wrong location, third try we finally got the right one. Water was running in the sink (wide open) when we entered the room. No working phone in the room. A/C was not working properly in 109*F weather. Manager got it to work, where was working at a reasonable temperature after several hours. Manager offered to try to change rooms, if the A/C would not be acceptable, but that wasn't necessary. There are only 3 handicap parking spots near the front entrance. Several ice machines were not working; we were told to go to a local store and buy some ice. The elevator by our room was out of service.

Rug was dirty and needs replacing. I don't know why there were so many flies in the room. Overall run diwn.

Security 86d me for a wax pipe and they still charged me for a booking on the 7th=8th of julysecurity barged in myvroom ,saw a oil burner, asumed ,and told me i had 20 min to get my stuff and the rest is going in the dumpster.i had just spent alot of my inheritance on that stuff they threw away and now im still homeless

Do not book this Hotel! This hotel is not what you expect for an Embassy Suites Hotel. It looks like it is a converted Motel 6. It has permanent residents living there. It is located in a very undesirable area. They can do whatever they want with the hotel, but should advise the guests that there is permanent residents living on the property. Permanent resident above started blasting music at 0700. Went to front desk to discuss the accommodation, they had no answers and no corporate phone number. Do yourself and family a favor, don’t stay here

While the hotel has wonderful staff they have recently taken on several extended stay clients. These families are living in the hotel and the hotel is offering daycare services and shuttle for these clients. We were informed on arrival that with all the current extended stay families we would probably have to pay off site and pay $15 per night. Our sheets had been written on by markers, stains on the carpet and chairs, the kids were running, riding scooters and playing in the courtyard. Nothing unusual for an apartment type complex but not typical for a hotel stay. One morning it seemed that someone was doing drugs outside the fitness center. While this is great for the families in need it did not feel safe to let me teenage kids out to get breakfast or walk alone. The noise of kiddos playing made it hard for sleeping during our stay. The breakfast is still fabulous and staff are accommodating but with the number of extended stay clients this site should probably not be open to the public.

The property is in a bad shape and honestly an embarrassment to Hilton especially Embassy suites Brand . It houses permanent residents with addiction and homelessness issues . One doesn’t feel safe at this property at all . The staff is good but that doesn’t help . We had just one night transit sleep over but we hardly slept because of weird noises from about the room besides the linens were clearly dirty and stained . Don’t even think about booking here .

Dirty and unsafe property! Do not stay here! Checked in around 1pm for a two night stay and they overcharged me. I asked to speak with the manager and was told to wait until 3pm. Went to our room which was musty, dirty and outdated. Slider to balcony had been permanently screwed shut. Went to walkway in front of room and noticed that both window screens had been previously pried off and the front windows also had pins in the frame to attempt to secure them from more break-ins. Went to the pool area to wait until 3pm to see the manager. While there, dozens of kids in school uniforms arrived and went to several different rooms. This is when we realized that numerous families were living there long term. Kids were unsupervised in the pool and playing soccer on the walkways. We returned to our room. My wife looked up the hotel on Trip Advisor and we were shocked. Please go there and read the reviews before booking here. We were not the first people to have this kind of experience. At 3pm we went back to the lobby to speak with the manager. During our walk, a few doors were open and there were multiple families staying in some rooms in absolutely filthy conditions and another room looked like it had a business being run out of it as a business transaction was occurring as we passed. Spoke with manager and left. Saw a drug deal on the property as we were leaving. Still charged for one night even though we left this unsafe and disgusting property. Filing complaint with Hilton.

We chose this hotel for our family for a early flight out the next morning. At first we were happy with the room size, comfort, and cleanliness, except for a Smokey smell. We went swimming and the pool was nice, but as a whole a bit run down. Then it started going downhill; you can see every room from the pool because it is in a courtyard. There were a lot of people going in and out of rooms, yelling, police showed up…something felt very off and we started feeling like it wasn’t safe for our family. It seems there are some people that are staying long term/living there. As we were getting out of the pool to pack up and leave, a man hit an exterior window, cut himself really bad and was dripping blood all over while holding his arm together. Kudos to the front desk host. He refunded our money with no hassle at all and was so kind. We found another hotel for the night and all was well.

This property is not worthy of the Embassy Suites brand... it's old and worn out, in desperate need of a remodel, and in an undesirable neighborhood. The price paid was extremely upsetting for this low quality. My room had carpet patches cut out and replaced and bedside table had burns on it... Looks like it hasn't been remodeled since the 1980s. Unsupervised Kids screaming all day in pool. Same kids running and screaming in breakfast area. Signs in pool area say no bottles, food, or alcohol but several groups of people sitting around with all 3. No enforcement at all making pool impossible to enjoy my entire stay.

But when we arrived, they said they were sold out of rooms with 2 double beds and our family of four would have to make do with a room with 1 bed. They said they had no rollaway beds and could not help in any way. Our actual room smelled like smoke and was dirty. Other guests were up past midnight, drunk and loud. Terrible place to stay with a family and terrible customer service. Would never recommend this hotel.

This property did not match the description from the internet. The pictures are not what you are getting. The rooms are small and old. Nothing is updated. They say that it is smoke free, but our first room was not smoke free and we had to be moved. The room next to us had a family smoking inside the room and outside.

We stayed for 9 days. I was disappointed the pool and hot tub did not open when we were originally told it should have been. It was an extra 2 days before it was opened.

I was very disappointed with this Embassy Suites. This was the worst one of all the ones that I have stayed previously! Location next to busy road and windows not double paned made it too noisy. $202 per night is a bit high. The rate per nights needs to be adjusted down to match the quality and location of the hotel. The smoking area needs to be at least 10 feet away from the rooms and should not be next to it. Every room should have a working light fixture outside the entrance door. Without a working light at the entrance door made it hard to insert the key! Please shampoo the carpet! There's a lot of spots!!! We will never go back there again!!!

We stayed at the Phoenix Embassy Suites Airport for a family winter break getaway. The hotel room was nice and spacious. It was everything that you would expect from an Embassy Suite. It’s an older Embassy but nice. The breakfast was in a building by the pool. Breakfast was nice with lots of choices form a hot breakfast to fruit and muffins to cereal and milk. The only quirk with my room was the tub drained slowly so I removed the stopper and problem was solved. I recommend this property.

The entire property is pretty dirty too -- carpets, floors, etc. I had a nice little visitor in my shower one day -- a pretty large bug decided to join me and was just chilling on the shower curtain. We definitely won't be staying here again. Would highly recommend looking elsewhere. You could very easily find better. Trust me.

The breakfast was very good. But our towels and bedding were not cleaned and upon request was told that we had to stay four days to have towels changed and the bed made daily.
