I got bronchitis from sleeping on their pillows. Literally this place made me actually sick. Other than that it's probably worth the 70 bucks just for the love of God bring your own pillow.

Motel 6 allows two pets. Basic room with soap. Be aware of the train horn at various times. Bargain deal for a Phoenix hotel close to the airport.

The rooms are very old n dirty the bedspreads were full of cigarettes burns in a non smoking room, the 2nd room the same and the air conditioning didn’t work!?! In Phoenix the 3rd room was decent but the tv didn’t work and the staff was not very friendly

One of the nicest Motel 6's I have stayed in, conveniently located near the airport and a train that can take you there and to the MLB stadium. However, the area is sketchy, especially at night, so be careful. A major conflict erupted between people very late at night on the property so a nighttime security guard or police presence is highly recommended. Overall, I had a clean, quiet room as requested, and the front desk receptionist called me at 4 a.m. as requested as a double-confirmation so I could make my early flight out (automated call system did not work). Note that shops close early nearby including McD's at 9 or even 8 p.m. in lobby. Get a taco from the taco place near McD's, delicious and I only $3. I would stay at this property again. Reasonably priced for the area.

Ive stayed here back in 2005 and at the time i was sure i wouldnt stay there agian but at my surprise they cleanen it up and upggraded on all the rooms and the property i enjoyed my stay very clean and safe . Thank you expedia for directing me to a more affordable and thank you to the hotel and staff very good and friendly . I will come back agian ..

There was no blow dryer, shampoo, extra towels, coffee. There was lots of noise, train track right beside us. Not a place I will stay again. It was very close to the airport and the bed was comfortable.

The location seemed sketchy but I was about 10 minutes away from everything so that was nice. I got back to my room very late and had to step over a drunk guy passed out on the balcony so that was weird but the front desk lady was helpful and sweet. If you're not boujiee you will be fine staying here.

Room very comfortable, but no microwave, no shampoo, no coffee maker, no breakfast available in lobby..... You're on your own here. My room is under airport traffic (I expected that) but didn't know it is 50 feet from a very active rail road crossing. The train whistle is unbelievably loud and long and frequent. You can't help but jump a mile when the train comes. Can't really walk around safely (Motel is surrounded by razor wire, you are advised to double lock your room).

I enjoyed the pool very much because it was too hot to walk around.

I've stayed at 4 budget motels (including 3 Motel 6's) in the Phoenix area and this is by far the worst. The floor had dirt and human hair on it = it was not cleaned. The comforter was dirty and had cigarette burns. The toilet lid had cigarette burns. And this was a non-smoking room! The toilet bowl was all scratched up. The sink fixture was not secure and would turn at will. There was mildew growing in the tub. There was zero hot water. The bathroom smelled like mold which makes sense since there was wall damage showing, including paint bubbles, from a clear leak from the unit above. There were dozens of paint marks on furniture and fixtures - whoever painted clearly could care less about doing even a halfway decent job. The furniture was damaged. There were numerous areas of wall damage that appear hastily repaired.The door would not close property and/or did not seal, with gaps along the jam and sill. The phone did not work. The TV color was broken - it was black and blue and very dim. The wall outlets were so worn, chargers would not stay plugged.The area does not induce confidence, with homeless and drug users everywhere. Trains started blaring their horns regularly starting at 4am. These same trains blocked the main road to the airport for 30 minutes at a time, so you had to drive around. Motel 6 corporate should be ashamed to have this place representing their brand. It needs investment in repair and cleanliness to bring up to par with the other Motel 6's in the area.

The early morning and late night train horns are sure to wake you up multiple times. The ice machine didn't work combined with no refrigerator in the room meant trips to the local convenience store to keep things cool. Room wasn't cleaned on a two night stay and no pool towels.

Probably the worst motel in Phoenix, maybe even Arizona! Very close to the PHX Rental Car return. Motel 6 is owned by OYO (Oravel Stays), an India-based travel technology company Skid-Row area. Train tracks 300' feet away with trains all night. PHX Runway 8 departures 1,650' feet away with all night departures. Toilet seat broken. Ice Machine Broken. We stayed in a Handi-capped room, but shower is a standard tub, not wheel-chair friendly. No hot water, just warm. No water pressure, just a gentle rain flow. Couldn't expect more from an "India" company! The owners are on the other side of the world and could not care less about your stay!

The staff is great!!! Rose and Bianca are ahhmazzing!!! Friendly, courteous and fun! They care about the people. I gave it a 4-star only because it needs updating. The hotel is Very clean. I didn’t see a dust ball, cobwebs or anything debris in corners. Free parking. I will visit again.

The bed was okay, but it covered the outlet so I have to shove it to the side to be able to charge my phone. HVAC unit emitted a smell. There was a dirty towel one the desk when I arrived. The bathroom exhaust would heavily vibrate intermittently.

There was plenty of parking, the AC worked well and the shower was hot. The ice maker didn’t work. There were cigarette burns in the shower curtain and the sheet was ripped. There is a train that blows its horn around 2am and 5 am. There is nothing nearby, no stores or restaurants.

There wasno breakfast, despite it being listed on the site. It was a bit overpriced, I've stayed in nicer hotels for less money.

I had to call police! Call front desk twice, no answer. Didn’t get any sleep between a man trying to open my door which woke me up after 3: am in the morning a 26 hour flight. I went back to sleep at 6:30 am requesting a refund. A man set on the stairs for an entire hour and 20 minutes until police showed up. Not what I expected, not true to picture . Drug addict area and zombieville. When I woke up it was time to leave I told the front desk what happened they could careless. No apologize no nothing . 😡😡😡😡waste of my hard earned money . Well there we had the toilet over flow while were sleeping, and got the floor even outside the bathroom flooded. Then the next morning we were getting ready and the shower got clogged. I would like or appreciate some kind of discount on this please.

The front vent cover was missing entirely, causing the air to blow directly and forcefully into the room. The headboard was also covered in black lint and hair. On top of the room issues, there were individuals in the parking lot watching us, and it was unclear if they were guests or people loitering, which made us feel unsafe. Overall, this experience was far below expectations, and I would not recommend staying here.

Staff was very nice. It is the room. Our room smelled musty, not too bad. However, some of the lights were our, heater did not work, and when I pulled down bed covers the sheets had lots of hair as if someone had combed their hair and left it in the bed. The bedspreads also was full of holes.

Your money is absolutely better spent on an airbnb. This is the kind of place you go in an emergency situation only. Bare bones, depression, and nothing more. Because if the airline shutdown mess I did not arrive until after midnight and Brenda was very helpful. The room smelled of stale cigarette smoke a there were no food or drink options available. But I was able to grab two hours of sleep and Brenda helped me get a left back to the airport at 4:30 am. Five stars for her!

Transportation to Downtown was perfect with the rail system and available Ubers. The only restaurant next door excellent food but it’s only open until 2pm.

The area is a Ghetto of various suspicious people. It did not feel safe. WiFi is broken forever. Bed sheets were NOT clean. Prefer to book via agency so that you have a mediator if you really wish to stay here. Also attached photos about these negative comments

Very shady area, I tried to save money on a hotel and regretted it. Not safe for a solo traveler at all, I ended up just leaving for the airport in an uber at 2am because I felt unsafe staying at this place. I’m sure it’s in no way the staffs fault, but I would not recommend.

Unfortunately you pay for the company that you keep...., the hotel was in a very poor maintenence condition, burned blankets, no wi fi, very loud guests, very bad neighborhood, not very safe to walk at night. Never again!

The picture is very misleading. There is only a sandwich shop open until 2 pm. A filthy McDonald's a walk way, although the area is not safe to walk at night or alone. There are no places to buy food, but it's a short walk to the Metro, which will take you to other areas to find food( as long as you know the area. It's best to eat at the airport before starting your journey or get an Uber to a restaurant. The evening receptionist didn't know anything about the local area or where the metro went. Cons: NO working WiFi on both visits (The first night, the TV was broken.) Pros: it's only 2 stops from the airport, the room was clean and well kept, and the morning receptionist was nice and helpful.

I honestly don't want to sleep in the bed, there's cigarette burns in the blanket and I feel like the sheets are probably not cleaned. It doesn't looked like anything has been wiped down or cleaned. Ice machine doesn't work. Check in was so so, the girl came out and checked me in. I'm not a fan of fingers nails being tapped while waiting but that's just me. Area is sketchy at best. I feel like this is probably a place where hookers and drugs are run through. Next time I will not be so cheap, it's better to pay a bit more for cleanliness. Do not recommend at all. Pay a little more for something clean.

We came for a fineral and the place was good

There’s a train that goes by and honk their horn very often. Our TV was purple so we couldn’t watch anything on the screen and one side of my bed was like broken or something. It literally had to try and get in the middle of the bed so you wouldn’t throw off not a good stay.

The lady on reception was fantastic, friendly and helpful. She advised us not to walk in the area in the evening - even McDonald’s which was visible from the motel was considered a risk. So we used uber eats for dinner delivery. The railway tracks are right next door to the motel, and the freight train rattles through at all hours (11pm, 2.30am and 4am for us). Everything is old and tired, especially the mattresses. The internet wasn’t working, no coffee in the lobby in the morning. I just feel so sorry for the staff, as they were great.

What I liked about this property it is quiet minus the train right next to my room which is fine front desk staff they're friendly and the airport is close

The people in the front office were so rude.

The room might have benefited from more thorough sweeping and perhaps larger towels, but I found the level of decency and quietness to be satisfactory for the price..

The property is really sketchy. I can never feel comfortable staying here.

It was what u pay for. Being a cheap hotel the the airport not to bad. Very noisy with people walking all around. People outside talking. Alot of smokers near by. The beds a bit hard. Near a train track that it goes off every 1 or so.

I’ve never stayed at a property where I had to buy my own shampoo. There was hair balls, dust everywhere. The TV entertainment center was broken. The noise was fine cause I knew we were right by the airport, but the cleanliness of the bathroom was horrible and I will never stay there again.

The room was clean and comfortable. But the room didn’t have a microwave or a fridge. They also didn’t provide shampoo but did give you a small bar of soap. I would consider staying here again but would most likely choose a hotel that had a microwave and fridge.

My job has been booking rooms at this Motel 6 for almost a year now because it’s close to the airport. Unfortunately, that’s the only thing it has going for it. Every single room I’ve stayed in had a serious issue—no hot water, no heat, no A/C, dirty rooms, unwashed bedding, and even a used condom left on the bed once. Totally unacceptable. To top it off, there are three Hispanic girls who run the front desk like it’s a full-blown Mexican novela. Drama, attitude, and zero professionalism. It’s like customer service doesn’t exist here (I can say this because I'm Mexican). They’ll charge you full price while most of the amenities don’t even work, and if you bring it up, don’t expect any help or even a basic apology. After months of this mess, I finally convinced my job to switch motels. I’m writing this just to warn others—don’t waste your time or money here. There are way better places nearby. This one’s not worth the headache. Motel 6 corporate needs to audit this property.

Cable got only about half the channels. Usually it's working fine. This was first time I've stayed that there was a problem.

Got this because I had a 6am flight and it's closer to the airport. the room smelled good and it was clean. Did have a pesky fly in the room. The vending machine near the rooms was broken, which was a bummer, because I really didn't want to walk to the gas station later at night which was probably a 5 min walk away. Not much else around the property. Staff was nice and check-in was easy. Did hear a train roll through at around 3AM. For a night it was fine and it was inexpensive, so it's a decent value.

The place was crawling with wacko /junkies ! We arrived late at night , and was greeted at check-in by a clerk and 2 shirtless losers (one whom was carrying a carved spear) I was vey ill from my flight and after waiting for what seemed like ages for my husband to check in..As .I entered the lobby, the clerk was threatening to call the police. I literally yelled at these weirdos to get out as we needed to check in.! Curiously they left. We were put in an accessible room next to the office . As I laid in the bathtub after dealing with broken taps ,faucets..no plug...I looked up at the retractable cedar disabled seat...It was filthy and clogged with blood and feces between the slats!! REPUGNANT NEVER EVER STAY THERE!

The only redeeming feature was being close to the airport. The property is very run down. The noise level with planes, trains and people in and out all night was not at all restful. Will never stay there again

This is my favorite location. It is near the lightrail and that is so convenient.

Way overpriced for what we got as far as the room. Non-Smoking room smelled like smoke and actually had cigarette Burns in the bed cover. Debatable whether sheets were clean or not. Toilet did not flush without playing in the back of it. Pushing the levers. Lucky it was only late overnight stay till early the next morning.

Definitely an older place that looks a little sketchy on the outside but the room was fine. Bed is not the most comfortable. I only needed to stay one night so it was fine. It is close to the Ohoenix Chikdren’s Hospital and I did not plan to stay in the room long.

Kinda run down but what do you expect for the money?

First time and probably last time at a Motel 6. Room smells like smokes, even the towels. The old duvet covers had ton of cigarette burns and stains of every kind. Hotel is a block from railway tracks and the first patrons we met was a prostitute with two dogs and her pimp. So not a lot going for this place other than it’s affordable.

Had to wait a full day to get a washcloth. Killed a cockroach by the sink. Room never cleaned during our 3 night stay. Trains woke us up several times a night.

This was a simple property but exactly what we needed for one quick night - located close to airport (as advertised) and the check in and out process was very simple. We didn't need much so are easy to please! Only downside was that due to the set-up (which was a risk in booking a motel style) was that there was a very loud member of the public trying to get into a room where someone they knew was for many hours overnight, yelling and banging. No fault of the hotel whatsoever, but staff might have been able to quell the situation.

The room TV did not work. There was no batteries in the remote. There was no way to turn the TV on. I only received one set of towels when I booked the room for two people. It was definitely not a great experience and I definitely didn’t feel that it was worth $130

Did not like anything about this motel- location close to trains and planes for $506 x 3 nights was a HUGE MISTAKE!! Dirty floors and tubs, toilet prone to clogs, plunger didn't work, heater/AC unit didn't work, only one set of towels for two people!! No shampoo. No tissues. Only one outlet for phone or laptop, must choose. Do Not stay here!

This property is very degraded. The room smelled of cigarettes and the blanket had cigarette burns on it. There was physical degradation in the room itself. Substandard is the best overall description.

The first room I was assigned was clearly not cleaned - sheets in bed looked like someone had slept in it, dirty towels on the floor and counter top. The AC unit had a foul smell to it as well.

The bed was lumpy, the floor was coming apart. There was no fridge.

Greatest sleep in a long time.

There were seven burned marks of cigarette on the comforter, there cockroaches in the room. When I was going to bed I found a long curly hair under the pillow, I have short, straight hair. Rooms are not noise treated, I heard the upstairs guests walking and moving furniture all night long every night, I found the room filthy and it was never cleaned. Every day my key would not work on the door. It always smelled dirty and of cigarette smoke (I do not smoke). This is by far my worst experience ever.

2week stay quiet not to far from Downtown. Staff was great efficient and thoughtful!

Staff is best thing there. Scary surroundings lots of noise. Left three extra nights on the table that I had paid for but abandoned this hotel, and went to another.

Train and airplanes all night

Reeked of cigarettes. Stained bedsheets. Broken and visibly worn down appliances. Very loud scene. REEKED of cigarettes. This place desperately needs renovations. Amongst all the negatives, I have to say, the workers were very polite and accommodating.

No shuttle to the airport one mile away. Very noisy, train, thin walls and 2nd story floor and the wake up call I requested didn’t come. My phone woke me up. Bed mattress was ok. Burn hole in the coverlet and top sheet. No Kleenex. Overpriced for what uou get. Not sure what upgrades they did.

I felt very unsafe at this location. There were homeless people all in the parking lot. My door didn’t lock correctly. My AC unit wasn’t able to produce heat and I had no hot water until the next day when I mentioned it to the manager, she immediately got upset and tried to trespass me, it was a horrible experience

Dirty old mattresses laying on the side of building, Flys, fleas and roaches visible in room, no tv remote, no shampoo or anything in the room lucky I had my own TV is was very low, and don’t worry you will not sleep the meth heads above me sound like they were remodeling the place overnight. Not even kidding sounded like they were even cutting the pipes in the walls I’ve been to some bad motel6s and this one it the worst
