Great location downtown. Clean, beautiful property with pleasant staff. I would certainly stay here again.

Very cool place in a quiet but convenient location

We stayed here because it was such a short distance to the Mortgage Matchup Arena! I would NOT stay again! The most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in! Mattress was so lumpy it felt disgusting to sleep on and pillows were really worn out and lumpy as well. The walking distance was nice but I will stay at the other hotel right across the street next time! VERY disappointed! For such a nice hotel and rooms need a major update and new mattresses bedding need to be top priority!

Beautiful rooftop and clean room

The room was good — plenty of drawers and a nice sized closet. The bathroom was perfect. My only complaint is we would prefer to have an empty fridge for our use. Cleaning was good. One day they cleaned very late after we had been gone for 4 hours but that was not the end of the world. Will probably return. The location is ideal for baseball fans as it’s a 10 minute walk to Chase Field.

The rooms were clean, the staff was kind and accommodating. I left my car keys behind and the cleaning staff found them and turned them over to the front desk who was then able to return them to me!

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with plenty of space to relax after a long day. The property was well-maintained, and everything in the room was in good condition. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The only downside was that the parking situation was a bit confusing at first and could use better signage or clearer instructions. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

Location was perfect to enjoy downtown!

I came expecting a great experience and it turned out to be “mid”. The room was okay the amenities left a lot to be desired. Paper-thin Single-ply toilet tissue is just not what I would expect here. One of the valet attendants was just rude when I returned my vehicle for parking. His attitude was almost one of disbelief that we were staying here much less parking and that is all I will say on that.

Travelled 20. hours to get to the hotel, I did not expect to have to wait 15-20 minutes for my reservation to be found. The pool bar staff were average at best.Sitting and waiting for a drink and then going to the bar to have to wait again-not top notch. see above

Beautiful property. Our room was facing the rooftop bar, Eden, which meant that we could hear the music bumping all night long every night we were there. The pool was great and we loved the room. Lots of great restaurants and bars nearby. Check in and check out was a breeze.

This hotel's location was really convenient to all of our activities planned for downtown Phoenix. It's a quick walk to Chase Field and the Suns Arena. The staff was helpful and friendly. However, the traffic can be quite congested in this area and we had a really difficult time pulling into to the hotel to check in. We had to circle the block for 45 min because the traffic was so backed up - there was a Dbacks and Suns game on the same day as our check-in. Also, we could hear traffic noise all night long, even from the 7th floor with the AC on.

The front desk staff were professional and welcoming. Our room was clean and spacious for being a basic accommodation. The pool area was lovely and the wait staff out there were attentive and friendly. Great drinks at the pool

The room had a well stocked snack and drink pantry. The beds were so comfortable and the pool was perfect. Kaitlyn was so friendly and helpful at check in.

The bed was comfortable and the location was good. Pool area was dirty. Very loud music by the pool. The sunbed situation was dire. House keeping was very hit and miss as were some of the staff, except for Matt by the pool, he was great. The shower in the bedroom was very difficult to control, came out scolding. Try and pick a room that's not tram side as they run till late and start early. It wasn't a bad stay but did have niggles.

What a beautiful hotel. Freshly remodeled in the heart of everything in downtown. Spacious rooms, cleanliness, great coffee cart in the morning, and nice staff. They also have a text service so you can text with staff if you need anything. Highly recommended.

We stayed one night before we had to head to the airport. Proximity to the airport is excellent. The hotel’s amenities are fantastic. The pool and rooftop bar were marvelous with OUTSTANDING service from ALL staff. Very welcoming to weary bedraggled travelers despite being a chic hang for the rest of the patrons. DJ was spinning poolside and basketball was on the TV- great drinks exceptional tapas menu and such a vibe! Will stay again!

They sell pool seats to day trippers on ResortPass out from under their guests, so you, the hotel guest, have nowhere to sit on the pool deck. I’ve stayed here 5-6 times in the past, and this is my last. Also, room shower only offered scorching or cold water - no warm.

Excellent hotel: comfortable lobby, friendly staff, good restaurant, handy location. The rooms are quite large and well appointed, including several comfortable chairs. (You’d be well advised to avoid rooms over the “rooftop bar” — actually on the 3rd floor — because sometimes loud music can be heard in nearby rooms.)

Location is convenient. Our 5th floor room overlooked the rooftop bar. Excessively loud EDM pumped all night. I went to the front desk to speak with the night manager who attempted to ignore me while I waited for him to complete a call from another guest complaining about the loud music. He avoided eye contact and shunted me off to service a larger group. The other clerk offered to change my room but added in an upcharge for a higher floor. I was flabbergasted to be upcharged when it was the hotel's fault that the room we had was rendered unhabitable due to loud music. After I'd obtained the new room, the night manager said there was nothing he could do but the DJ would turn the music down at midnight. It was 9:45 pm and we had just flown cross-country and were ready to unwind. The night manager then condescendingly asked what I'd expected from a downtown hotel noisewise? I informed him that I was from NYC and knew when a room was too loud. Moreover, we brought our dog with us as we've stayed at Kimpton properties before and knew them to be pet-friendly. Other than two water bowls in the lobby, there are no concessions or facilities for pets. The hotel is in the middle of a concrete jungle with no relief areas for pets. A cleansable strip of astroturf would have been nice. Otherwise, the breakfast at Blue Hound was very good.

Great downtown location that wasn’t too busy! Lots of places to eat and see really close by! Beautiful rooftop pool with a bar and restaurant that was really fun! I had paid for parking with my reservation but didn’t specify valet when we pulled up! The attendant sent us to the parking garage, and when we checked in we were told parking was included and to pull up out front! So we had to go get the car and go right back to valet where we started, and the attendant still tried to tell us we were wrong! He checked with the front desk and then happily parked our car!!

Also, the free coffee bar in the morning is just a nice touch. It gets old having to pay $8 for coffee in the morning as a hotel guest at so many places. Terrible communication from staff regarding where the parking garage is located. My husband and I ended up getting lost from the parking garage to the hotel, and nobody that worked in either building seemed to care that we were lugging our bags all over. Same situation when we left. Terrible area and the restaurant in the hotel is awful, disgusting actually.

I arrived over an hour before check in and the staff stored my bags for me while I had a meal and drink at the rooftop pool bar. The kitchen manager was friendly and offered food suggestions.

Its location, the cleanliness, friendly and very helpful staff. The breakfast options weren’t that great.

No one mentioned to us that we had free breakfast. Nobody told us about the lounge, free coffee, and restaurant on the 2nd floor. When we were at the 3rd floor bar, we asked for coffee and they said they didn't have any, but didn't mention that there was a coffee bar on 2nd floor. The 3rd floor staff seems lobotomized or something. Front desk staff were very helpful, though.

From the moment we entered we were greeted by the wonderful Day time staff. The 2 gentlemen and woman gave us so much positive energy and vibes. But my two all stars of our trio has to be Ms Donna who is a Manager and helped accommodate my needs beyond explanation. Her dedication to her customer service is amazing and shows great leadership. Our favorite friend Mr Danny G was amazingggg at the front desk and gave us such great conversation and supplies we need for our room. He even gave us some of the famous Peach Tea the chef hand makes from scratch *chefs kisses. He was so amazing and kind hearted. Overall the hotel is a 10/10 and if I could go higher than that I would. The deep tub shower combo was amazing and the room is perfect. Also s/o to the bartender she was amazing for the roof top party and the drinks literally are the best. This stay was the best decision and I even proposed while being here. Everything Is PERFECT

Kimoton in MKE is superior in overall service, but this hotel is still clean and very comfortable and pleasant. We’ve stayed here multiple times and location is also super convenient downtown.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is amazing. Love the happy hour. The location is very convenient. The only bad thing is that the hotel is right next to the light rail and also the train tracks so it’s nonstop light rail and train noise so its not at all a peaceful experience but most hotels in this area have the same problem. It’s a trade off for convenience of location to restaurants and arenas.

I really appreciated how quiet and convenient this hotel was. Nice room, also quiet, my only complaint is bottled water should be free in the room and I know I could have asked for a coffee maker or kettle but prefer it already be in my room. Outside of that, best hotel I've stayed at for a conference in absolute years.

The stay was amazing. The hotel had great amenities: rooftop pool, bars etc! The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. We were able to check in early. Rico had the best personality during the complimentary wine/beer service. Patrick did amazing during the roll out of the new cocktail class! Lastly, the location was great. I was able to walk to the concert at Chase Field and the after party at The Stadium. Will be staying here again.

I loved everything

Experience in its entirety is exemplary but for a slight issue of inconsistency in the pricing of pool cabanas that no finality was ever determined. Moreover, it was made apparent at one point that outsiders or non-guests are able to access the rooftop pool area to the staff’s knowledge. This issue is particularly pronounced as the non-guest, delicately put, is quite an unsavory character. We intend to return but hope that such issues are appropriately addressed.

Travel is stressful enough; what kind of person finds it amusing to cause others distress? The stress of thinking all our belongings were really lost took a year off my life.

It was in a great location but older needs some updates done snd yhe beds aren't comfortable at all.

We had a wonderful stay for our 24 hour visit from California! The accommodations were exceptional, clean and comfortable. The customer service was also amazing. Very special thank you to Dylan at check in who provided a warm and speedy welcome to the property. Another special shout-out to Chris during the wine and hors d'oeuvres hour. Looking forward to a future return to this property!

I didn't realize that the Valet parking for overnight is an extra $44 on top of what you pay for the room. I did not see that in the booking info. Plus, we spent money for snacks and drinks while we were at the Eden Pool bar. So, when you stay there and patronize the hotel bar/restaurant, seriously should you have to pay another $44.00 to park there. We will nwver stay there again!

The property is very nice, but the parking garage and elevator situation is very confusing.

Staff was amazing and the hotel and room were incredible but I would change 2 things. Offer at least some pastries or grab and go goodies in the morning at the coffee bar and figure out a better system for the drop off for valet.

Was a wonderful experience staying at this hotel hadbthe perfect view to the Arena where we went to go see the Ghost Skeletour Concert

The front desk staff and valet personnel were excellent. We also enjoyed the staff and vibe in the rooftop bar area. The main issue was that the furniture (desk chair, and nightstands) was worn and tattered. The room was clean. There was a lot of noise in the room above us. It sounded like construction/room remodel was taking place early on a Sunday morning.

Bed was extremely comfortably. Location was great, 2 minute walk to Phoenix Arena!

The hotel was a bit worn and dated. In need of a refresh. The pillows were by far the most uncomfortable I've ever slept on.

The food and service at the Blue Hound was excellent. Beds were comfortable, and infused water was available throughout the day in the lobby.

Great stay but room wasn't ready at 5:30 and check in was 4. Then housecleaning knocked at 9:45 am and checkout wasn't until 11.

The. Hotel has been doing some remodeling above us. When we asked they gladly changed our room. It is a good location. I will stay again.

Checking in there was some delays as they couldn’t find my reservation as I made it through Hotels.com. Then there was some confusion on my needing to pay as I arrived when I had paid the reservation 3-4 months ago again through Hotels.com. She finally found it as she said a third part person made the deposit. Not sure why that would not show as room paid for no matter how it was deposited. The room was great and just enough space for wife and two younger kids. Do have some issues. One no lock on the bathroom door so no real privacy esp with young kids wanting to come in. No microwave and issue with how door Lo-Lo’s unable to be unlocked with keycard when deadbolt is set. Didn’t want to knock on the door and wake up my 3 year old as we had just come the concert at 11 pm. I thought it was a bad key so had to go up and down twice till it was explained to me of this feature. Might be a good idea to put that out there during check in process. Other than that place was really nice and staff were super friendly and helpful!

Everyone was super friendly and seemed to go out of their way to give excellent customer service! The only issue (which didn’t bother us on this particular stay, but could be a problem for other customers) was it sounded like some kind of construction or maintenance was being done in the room above ours. We were allowed an early check in so that day was totally acceptable, but the following morning the noise started at about 7:40…we were already up and preparing to leave, but if someone were trying to sleep in, that just seemed a bit inconsiderate. Besides that we had a totally amazing stay, I would stay here again and definitely recommend it to friends.

We stayed for a concert at Phx Arena and Palomar is perfectly located for that.

Very convenient location for our sports weekend. Picked a bad weekend, the smell was horrible that was coming from the parking garage.

Palomar was right in the heart of downtown Phoenix. It was in walkable distance to bars and restaurants. Great amenities like roof top bar and pool. The city view suite was amazing. I will definitely be staying here again.

Negatives: room had a musty smell, beds were okay. We were woken up by a very strange noice. Come to find out the plumber was working on the room next door, our sink drain baked up with black water. We used the sink, the plumber came knocking and was upset we used the sink. We felt bad because we had no idea what was going on. We didn’t get a heads up at all! We started packing up to go! When we finally left the entire hallway smelt like sewage. It was AWFUL! As we moved through the hotel it got worse, I have no idea what went wrong with their plumbing but we weren’t glad to be checked out!!

It seemed confusing figuring out getting from the garage from/to the hotel. The property needs more directional signs. I ran into two other couples that had the same difficulty.

It was very pleasant, the staff in its entirety were extremely polite and professional. They always greeted you and offered something. I was short some items to get ready and called down and they brought me exactly what I needed in a timely manner.

The chairs in our room were peeling and definitely need to be replaced. Otherwise, the service was fantastic!

Room and location were excellent. We wanted rooms that were connecting rooms but in order to do that we had to move to a king bed instead of double and we were willing to so but the other room was going to be a downgrade from a suite to a double and they didn’t want to adjust their rate even through the rooms were available.

The restaurant inside the hotel was perfect for breakfast. Nice staff and great food.

They kept calling me all morning and knocking on my door they had my room mixed up . Valet guy was super rude and unprofessional he was mad because he didn’t know if my truck would fit in the garage. Kept talking to me in slang words
