There are enough pool, water slide, and fountain options to keep you cool for a good part of the day. Be aware that parking is not free. The room was clean and had plenty of space.

Tray with dirty dishes was outside of our room when we arrived. Was overcharged by $150 and front desk staff was very rude. We paid $1100 for 2 nights which isn’t something we normally can do and it was very disappointing.

I asked for extra blankets I wait an hour have to called 3 times asking for extra blankets and came with a whole on it bed sheets was inside out. As a 5 star hotel that paid 5-900 a night. I expected something better.

Loved that the resort included everything you would need in a vacation. Several restaurants and plenty of activities for my family. The resort was amazing!

The golf facilities are top-tier and beautifully maintained, offering an amazing experience for both serious golfers and casual players. An unforgettable luxury destination with everything you could ask for — relaxation, entertainment, exceptional hospitality, and premium amenities. Highly recommended.

We loved everything about the jw except the pool was so overcrowded and no chairs by 9am because people save them all day. We paid a lot of money to stay here and apparently they let you buy day passes for the locals and it was just many people at the pool. So if you are coming for the pool, I would stay somewhere else.

Every staff member here is a true service professional - well done! Breakfast was really good with lots of choice. I visited the spa and had top class experience too. Our room was very comfortable. It’s a very large property - you walk a long way to access anything.

The place was nice overall but the fact thwy didn't tell us the water park was closed put a damper on the getaway since we took out young kids. Also, along with the majority of the pools being closed, the pool construction and jackhammering made for a stay that was less than relaxing while just trying to lounge outside with our children.

The man who checked us in (Nan?) was totally, unnecessarily rude. Just, rude was his apparent normal way of interacting... then our room - food in the pull out couch, under the curtains gross! The winter features were a letdown. The sled hill is literally for toddlers. The ski machine didn't work for the whole week we have stayed. I asked about us changing rooms since the noise from the frontside of the hotel was awful - was told not an option but we could come back (and wait in line) to see if a PAID upgrade might be available. I only stay in 5 star hotels, others aren't like this...won't stay here again.

Everything was incredibly clean and beautifully maintained. We enjoyed the fitness center every morning, the lobby bar and the tavern and everything was wonderful! We plan to visit again with our family soon!

Fantastic accommodations for my wife’s 60th birthday party. The cabanas were awesome with very large living room with TV & great furniture with a very large bathroom too…HVAC was awesome to have for some of the older people that joined. The water park & lazy river were also a hit with kids and adults alike. Tia Carmen put on an amazing dinner for (40) probably the best steak & potato with absolutely the most amazing mole sauce I’ve ever had…all in all this place is a home run. It’s expensive but you get what you pay for and it surly didn’t disappoint!

staff was very good, very friendly. Property was clean and up to date. I had an issue with parking and paying twice. I emailed, they got back to me in a timely manner, and took care of the discrepancy. I was way to busy. We went on July 4th. The pool was over crowded. My children did do the slides and pool activities because of the long waits.

This property is beautiful and impeccably cared for. The staff and service were excellent and they offer many wonderful amenities. A+ in all categories.

The check-in experience was quick and efficient, and our room was very comfortable. The property is very well taken care of and impeccably clean. The gentleman who helped with our bags up to our room was very friendly and nice to talk to, and we had a wonderful service out at the pool. Our only challenge that we had was the valet service. It was a little discombobulated when checking in and then the day that we were leaving, we found it impossible to get help with our bags from our room down to our lobby. my husband sat on the phone for quite a while, waiting for his call to be taken, so we ended up making the decision to lug all of our luggage down to our car ourselves. Definitely understand that places get busy and didn’t mind waiting but for an upscale property like that for us to wait on hold for I believe 15-20 minutes, was a little frustrating. We were actually checking out well before the designated checkout time. And the amount of luggage we had really did require some help and my husband has a bad knee so it really was a little difficult for us to lug everything down ourselves so that would be the only area I think could really use some improvement again, especially for such an upscale Resort Overall still a really wonderful property.

We loved our stay here! The staff was wonderful! The room was a decent size, clean and the bed was very comfortable! We LOVED the lazy river and slides. We would definitely come back! Just get to the pool early to get a lounge chair!

Staff and food was amazing . The only issue was the hotel contracted a company to clean our hallway carpets at midnight , the machine and constant talking went on for 45 minutes. That was unacceptable

It’s was clean and fun They messed up on our payment when we paid and it pulled out the amount twice which made it so we couldn’t enjoy the resort like we would have like too

Our initial room had an issue and the AC went out on the area, they put us in a better room (same room, just a better view and it was in the main tower on the top floor) and refunded us $200! This was after they had already gave us $200 resort credit! Best vacation we've ever experienced, EVER!!! We'll definitely be back...

Very pretty property. I would like to suggest you don’t have people buy day passes for the pool. We pay a lot of money to stay at the resort. The menu by the pool is very costly with service fee/20%tip auto included. 2 lunch meals and 1 drink we split was $60. Rooms are nice size and pools pretty.

Wayyyy over priced also. 17 to 22$ for a cocktail or anything food wise is ridiculous . Infact the mark up that mich and price gouging families is disgusting. Sorry...

This property is beautiful but the service is lacking. The hotel is gorgeous and the rooms are perfect. We had some great service in certain areas but in others like renting a cabana and pending top $$ they were very lacking in responsiveness.

My stay was very pleasant. There were many things to do. The only recommendation I would like is that they could offer a variety of more typical foods, such as pizza and hamburgers, in the pool area.

We got two rooms and one of our rooms had roaches that must’ve came out at night. When waking up in the morning we found 2 in our bathroom and scattered up the wall into a vent when the bathroom was in use. Made our stay afterwards like we were walking on eggshells.

The grass was cut frequently and the staff were very nice. We weren’t sure where we could and couldn’t walk to, we were given a small container with our card pass and it said to follow the directions through the internet.

The family enjoyed the stay here. The arcade and waterpark were better than we thought and the kids had a blast with both. As a morning person the garden area and seating area in front of the lobby with running water we’re really peaceful. My only regret is not using the golf range with complimentary clubs and balls more than once during my stay.

We stayed for a week and it was amazing. It is very expensive. The resort is well taken care of. Staff was all friendly and pools were very well maintained along with other facilities. Room was clean and comfortable. Food was decent and drinks good at the hotel restaurants we dined at. It was busy with kids since it was spring break so definitely family friendly. Problems with the extra keys and a lot of walking to get to some areas of resort but that was expected. Didn’t realize many lounges were to be reserved so make sure you do it earlier on in your stay to ensure you have great spots at the pool. Some aren’t but if it’s busy they’re harder to come by for free ones. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone and would stay again as long as we can afford it.

Staff seemed inconvenienced and bothered when we asked a question. The place is locked down with multiple restricted areas, and everything has to have key access and even rist bands on top of that. We felt a little like cattle being herded. For $900/night, we expected a much more luxurious experience. Felt communistic.

Great luxury end hotel with lots of pools and a couple of restaurants Food was excellent and the service was good as well. The desert ridge area is on the edge of Phoenix and makes a good choice for those to wish to stay a little be further out of the downtown area. Nothing really.

Hotel was lovely staff was great and food options were good, room was a bit run down with carpeting and parking was astronomical $85 for 2 night valet but I would definitely go back

Great property overall. Very friendly staff. Breakfast option limited to Starbucks or the very over priced buffet. If travelling on a budget plan to eat off property. If budget is not a concern, food on property is great and service is great but you do pay a premium

Beautiful, spacious rooms delicious restaurants

I was there for a conference and the organizers had negotiated to have the resort fees waived (as we are at the conference all day and won’t be able to use the facilities anyways) - but since I booked through Expedia, they charged me $55 per day for the entire stay. Absolutely unreasonable.

Truly awful place to stay. It’s a downmarket resort. 22 degrees outside and yet they have an ice rink and a snow machine! Would be interesting to compare these “features” with Marriott’s sustainability policy. Overall - over priced, over the top and not worth a visit

Stay was perfect

It was a breath taking experience to be there. The resort is situated in a beautiful area with gorgeous palm trees and other plants around. The swimming pools and water park provided excellent services. A shopping area is located within a walking distance and provides excellent access to many restaurants, bars and stores.

Everything about this property is simply outstanding. There is something for everyone. We chose Sky Island and rented a pool cabana for the dat. This was a wonderful respite at the end of a glamping trip. Our restaurant choices were plenty and they offered one of our favorite Rose wines which we took as a welcome sign! Spent two wonderful nights - would definitely stay here again!

The property was amazing. We wanted a few “luxury” days following a glamping trip and the JW didn’t disappoint! The room was cool and comfortable, the grounds well landscaped and absolutely immaculate. Can’t speak highly enough of the service levels. Enjoyed a cabana on Sky Island, super pleasant. Food was all high quality. I would very much recommend!
