Great stay with the family! Friendly staff.

We stayed downtown for the Rod Stewart concert. The Hyatt is nice, the staff at check in were very polite. The bartender was great. Highly recommended this hotel for a stay downtown, hope to stay again.

Parking is expensive. Location is fabulous for downtown events.

Everything about the room was great, no issues. The staff at the Hyatt were exceptional. There are no less than 4 individuals that helped us feel at home and will be letting the manager know who they are. The breakfast that was included allowed us to choose from ready made items, prepared items or the omelet bar which was excellent. The self parking was just across the street and I received a bar code to scan that easily allowed me to zip in and out whenever I needed to. The gift shop was more than adequate and I found what I needed in there. The restaurant was great and the servers were attentive. The only issue was ongoing maintenance with the elevators that slowed some people getting up to their rooms, but it was being attended to and not ignored. I attended a reception in a second floor conference room and was treated to a caesar salad station with quite a few options and sides. The staff assigned to us were exceptional and attentive. I have absolutely nothing bad to report, only good things!

This was such an amazing hotel, the staff was amazing and really took care of us. Valet was timely and overall this hotel was a highlight of my trip.

Beautiful hotel, very well kept. Smells almost tropical when you walk in the lobby to check in. Valet was super quick to get my vehicle when requested and were super helpful with directions. Open concept hotel so it was quite loud as there was a conference - we were on the 7th floor, conference was on the 2nd floor and the sound echos up to the surrounding rooms. Pool area is nice, nothing too fancy but a good place to catch some sun.

I liked the staff was very helpful and accommodating. I did not like I had some type of insect on my pillow. It was addressed promptly and professionally. The restrooms are a bit dated but the hotel is clean. This was my second stay here due to convience and proximity to everything.

The staff were exceptional especially the bar staff. food was over priced and sub standard. Breakfast wasnt really known about. The rooms were very outdated and in need of serious updating. Paying the additional price for a terrace was a big mistake as it looked onto the roof of a building across the road.

Walking distance to Chase Field. Rooms are thinned walls. Could hear conversations from room next door.

The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Their customer service truly stood out and made us feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. We would highly recommend the Hyatt Regency to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-managed property with excellent service.

We loved the location because we were attending a conference right across the street at the convention center. The beds were ridiculously high! We could have used a step stool to get into bed. As it was, we basically had to climb in and out and that was annoying. Especially annoying in the night when you had to use the restroom. And we were not the shortest people at this conference. Not sure if all the rooms have this issue. Also, there was not a single safety bar in the bathtub. Seems very irresponsible. Also, ergonomically speaking, the toilet paper was way behind the toilet and hard to reach. Great room for tall, young people! Not for short senior citizens!

The hotel on a whole was nice but there were problems. The room didn't have a microwave or a mini frig. It had a wine cooler that wasn't even cool. Who puts a wine cooler in a room and doesn't have a frig.the microwaves are on each floor by the ice machines. But the microwaves keep blowing fuses. Other than that the hotel was fine. Be prepared to pay $30+ per day for self parking. And $40 Valet.

I had a wonderful experience. The staff was welcoming, the amenities were well maintained, and everything felt comfortable and relaxing. I would recommend it to others looking for a pleasant stay.

The service was outstanding accommodated for a convention restaurant bars, and meeting room so great staff and cleaning room stack was excellent. Definitely stay there again.

A wonderful experience beginning to end. From valet parking, check in, bell hop service, amazing Compass restaurant wait staff and cuisine, made to order breakfast omelet by the pool, to online checkout. Simply excellent!

I was thoroughly satisfied. - - -

The hotel offered a $50 credit as compensation, but it could only be used within the property. Given that the restaurant prices were quite high, it felt like we were being pushed to spend more there, which didn’t really make up for the inconvenience. For the second night, we were finally moved to the correct room, but unfortunately, the air conditioning failed in the middle of the night—during peak Phoenix summer heat. We were provided with a fan, but it was far from adequate, and again, our sleep was significantly disrupted. Overall, the stay was quite frustrating and fell short of expectations. While I do appreciate that the staff were courteous and made an effort to acknowledge the issues and offer compensation, it ultimately could not make up for the lack of comfort and restful sleep.

My family stays here often, a few times a year. It’s our favorite place to stay when we travel to town to watch the diamondbacks play! We love the pool, the restaurant downstairs for dinner, the omelette bar for breakfast, and the cozy clean rooms. It’s a wonderful hotel!! Nothing!

Check in and check out representatives both seemed like it was their first day. The pool is pathetic and old. The common areas except for the 1st floor restaurant are showing their age. I had a cold shower this morning with very little water pressure. I was not impressed with this hotel and I travel frequently. The 1st floor restaurant was great, both service and food.

Everything was fantastic only thing I would improve was the hot tub. Didn’t seem like it worked very well hopefully they got it fixed.

Everything was great amenities wise. B|B market the first day of our stay the staff was very friendly. Today on our last day, one of the older ladies running the market/ breakfast was extremely rude & short. We had questions on the breakfast package and she couldn’t be bothered. Mike in the market was so nice & kind!

This was such an excellent hotel 🏨. Very spacious, checkin very accommodating ! Loved our corner spacious room, All staff couldn’t be more helpful ! This hotel was run with expertise and we can’t wait to stay here again 👍

Pool was small for the number of guests registered; cool. Room was comfortable and nicely laid out. Staff extremely helpful, especially when it came to dealing w/a noisy neighbor. Valets deserve a huge gold star for problem solving and patience.

I had a room with 2 queen beds. I stayed on the 16th floor and the view of the mountains was perfect. Our room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. There is a refrigerator in the room. A microwave should be added instead of having to go downstairs to the market to use theirs. Plenty of bars and restaurants in walking distance as well as a grocery store around the corner. The staff at the front desk as well as the restaurants and gift shop were very friendly and helpful. You do have to pay to park either with their valet service or in the garage. I chose the garage which was $20 daily. This property is in a great location here in downtown Phoenix. I would definitely stay here again.

The restaurants on-site were fantastic, and the market was extremely convenient for grabbing quick items. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Valet service was excellent, and the check-in and check-out process was quick and seamless, which made everything stress-free from start to finish. I would definitely recommend staying here and would happily come back again.

There was a weird sound at night like someone playing a pipe/flute every 20-30 seconds - probably wind, but made for an eerie experience. Glad the place was available and very accommodating with necessities. Stellar front desk staff all around. Probably solid choice for a conference and location. Quite close to the airport as well.

It was close to the sports facilities. I didn't like the parking fees, for the most part, thought it be validated but still paid a large fee.

This was an extremely unpleasant night’s stay. The building directly across the street from the hotel was producing a continuous low, rumbling noise throughout the entire night, likely from some kind of equipment. The sound was constant and very uncomfortable, making it impossible to rest properly. It was truly a terrible night.

Stayed here many times before and loved it. Very poor experience this time. Had a last minute family issue prevent us from staying. Hotel was called and asked if they would make an exception to the cancellation rule. They declined and we lost almost $300 that we prepaid for the room. Flexibility in policies goes a long way to maintain long term customers.

I was in town for a conference located across the street, so it was very convenient. I checked in early and they had a room available for me which ended up being all the way at the end of one hall, but it was so quiet and peaceful, so no complaints.

Property and Hotel in general was fine. For my 3 night stay, they were overbooked so I was bumped to a related property 30 minutes away. Totally disrupted my plans for attending meetings downtown.

Great staff at check-in. No hot water in the morning though, so that started our day off on a less than best foot. Valet guys were amazing and very friendly. Would stay again.

When we first got there, the room was dusty on most of the shelving areas. We found a pillow case at the bottom of the bed. Take your own water. Hotel charged $8 dollars for a regular sized bottle. Note: With kids we typically stay at the hyatt for the continental breakfast. This hotel does not offer that. Overall it was a nice stay. ALL staff were helpful and kind.

All was good except that the water in the bath was not adequately hot. Mostly lukewarm. Otherwise all else was good

Fresh towels and maidservice daily without having to ask was nice Shower head limited water pressure irritating but understandable...

Amenities and room set up were great. The significant issue, which is a big one are the bed and pillows. That was all very uncomfortable. I could do without USB ports and more storage if it meant the bed was comfortable.

The Hyatt Regency downtown Phoenix is an excellent place to stay, clean, friendly staff reasonable rates for a downtown location. I’ve stayed there several times and will stay there again when I’m in Phoenix.

My room was outdated, dirty, and just felt gross. I stay at Hyatt properties all the time and this was by far the worst! Hyatt is a good chain by this hotel has only put money into the lobby and not the rooms. The shower had zero hot water, leaked all night and the bathroom was so disgusting. I would NEVER EVER stay here again. Zero care about the customer.

Great hotel for my overnight stay in downtown Phoenix. Very close to many restaurants, Phx Arena and Chase Field. My room was very clean and comfortable.

I enjoyed the pool area, restaurant downstairs, and the valet parking was great. Many food options in walking distance (one mile or less) as well.

I was expecting better from the Hyatt. The front desk was not very friendly, our first room was very noisy (we asked to move to another room), the bed was creaky, the pool shallow and dirty, the noise from the industrial monster fans in the pool area unbearable, the food in Bushel & Barrel just so-so, and valet parking almost $50 for one day.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel during his competition. The competition was held at the Phoenix convention center which was about a ten minute walk. The onsite restaurants were great; the gym was clean and functional. Staff was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying again in the future.

Beds were comfy but felt the hotel was a little outdated. Pool area was a bit small. Room service options were very limited but restaurant and breakfast were good.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt. We felt really safe and the service from start to finish at valet, checkin, etc. was amazing. The views are awesome of the city skyline and also mountainous valley. This is an ideal location in downtown Phoenix right across from Symphony Hall and the Convention Center. The restaurant downstairs with indoor/outdoor bar has EXCELLENT service, food and drinks, for a hotel and is not overpriced. The rooms are spacious and bed and pillows were super comfy! Definitely staying here again.

Sparkling wine and 2 wine glasses in my room with a lovely handwritten birthday card. It was an extra special treat. Above and beyond any other hotel I have stayed at previously.

It was a perfect location to stay since we had a concert at a nearby venue that we could walk to. I had also requested an early check in and they accommodated me.

The front desk wasn't very accommodating when we first checked in. We were given the wrong room and then when we asked to change to a king suite they charged us $10 more per day even though a king suite was what we originally booked. We spent a lot of money to stay there and it seemed silly for them to charge us extra for their mistake. The bellman, Richie, was super kind and helpful so that improved our stay ☺️

I loved the fact that the hotel is right across the street from the Phoenix Convention Center, the Symphony, and literally a 6-minute walk to the PHX Arena and the Baseball Stadium.

Perfect location to get to the diamondbacks game! The gentleman that checked us in was great told us about Compass the revolving restaurant such a fun experience! Great place to stay! The service at the restaurant in the lobby was excellent!

Excellent option for a getaway to see a Diamondback game. Very convenient and easy to walk to and from the game even in hot temperatures (103). Lots of restaurants near by and options in hotel are good as well. Parking is just on the corner across from the hotel. Biggest plus was the excellent front staff.

We stay here every time we are in Phoenix. Nice upgraded rooms with all the amenities like Keurig machine, mini fridge, phone charger outlets. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, Chase Field, and convention center.

Phoenix is extremely hot this time of the year - it was 105 degrees on the particular day we stayed. Not only did they not offer complimentary water, there was simply no water to be had on the higher floors. They provided 2 bottles in the room with the caveat that it's free for Elite members, or we would be charged $3/bottle - just diabolical behavior. We stayed in a 4 people occupancy room but only 2 small glasses were provided. One of which was chipped. There were no glasses provided in the restroom and barely any hygiene items. The room was very ill equipped for the location and calibre of hotel. Insane prices for parking compared the complimentary rates provided at other nearby hotels. Poor service and poor responsiveness. Very disappointed. Would not stay again and would definitely not recommend for a family stay.

The hospitality at the hotel was outstanding. My encounters with the staff were great. Their knowledge of the event happening there was horrible. There were several rooms occupied by vendors and meeting rooms. When asked of the location, I was given no answers, after a long hold I was told there was no event there for my organization, when in fact, we had the entire second floor. They should have been informed. Several people were late because of the misinformation or lack of correct information.

This was an excellent place to stay. Just a quick walk to the convention center and the staff were very accommodating. Highly recommend this place.

The stay was good. We were there during the basement fire and they accommodated us with waters outside and were quick to diagnose the issue and get us back into our rooms. My only complaint was we left for a time on our second day and the maid did not service our room. I had to call to get extra towels and our room was never cleaned during our stay.

Its an ok hotel convenient to the Convention Center. Dining offerings were limited and there aren't many decent other choices nearby. Cabs are available tho the price is more returning to the airport than from the airport. The Valley Metro light rail lines are a block away. The hotel apparently has a card only - no cash policy - so beware of that - I object to them not informing at booking

The property was great. I am disappointed that when I arrived to check in, the front desk agent said I needed to pay for the room upfront on top of the incidental charge. I have never had to pay for a room upfront. When I asked why, all she said was the system required it. 1. It made me feel like your hotel doesn’t trust that I can afford the room or I will pay. 2. Train your employees to have better answers with actual reasons behind it.

Love how convenient this property is to all things downtown. The hotel is clean and has an AMAZING gym. I will come back again and again

A beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Check-in was smooth, quick and easy. Very clean property with really nice rooms. I chose it because of its downtown location, within easy walking distance to Chase Field.

Great place

We were given a great room went down to dinner and came back to find our room on 21 had a strong vibration. We called down they moved us to the other side on 16 went there that room was vibrating too. They moved us again to 19 other side and it was 1am we fell on the bed and I still felt vibrations. We called down they showed my husband a room when he came back he said let’s get out of here it’s shaking on the 3rd floor worse. We were at the valet and the driver told us that the entire hotel is on generators and that’s why it was vibrating. We were furious that no one told us. I ended up getting an allergic reaction to the vibrations - who knew - and spent 2 days in bed with Benadryl.
