    I landed at 11:00pm, got to the baggage claim to request shuttle. A link was sent to me to arrange it myself. I submitted the request and it told me where to go to get pick up. That area was closed off due to construction. I called the hotel again and was told to go to 44th St via the sky link train. I did that and it was going to be another 30min before getting picked up. It was now 12:30am. I ended up calling Lyft. I check in and the first two rooms the AC was not working. Finally the 3rd room was good. It was now 2am and I still needed to wind down to fall asleep. I then had to be up at 7am. I get to work and see I was charged twice for the room. One on the card I used when putting in the reservation and then again on the card I used for incidentals knowing no charge would be made to it. Now I have to wait a couple of days to see if one of the cards get credited back. Nightmare and will not stay there again.

    Our stay at the Hilton was good, the rooms were clean and nice. However we had a terrible experience when we first walked in to check in. We walked up to the front desk and didn’t get acknowledged until we said something. When we told the woman that we were here to check in, she proceeded to roll her eyes and sigh and then checked us in. Not a good first impression.

    The hotel was nice but I picked this hotel because of the free airport shuttle. When I arrived I was told to use their app to order the shuttle for the next morning. I did and scheduled at 5am pick up. That morning at 4am I was notified by hotel personal that there was no shuttle and to find my own way, and pay to pay for it myself. I am a senior and never used UBER. I got to the airport and at 6am I was notified by the app my shuttle service was canceled. A very upsetting morning.

    Our visit was just 1 night. We got there a little early for check in, but we easily got our room with no problem. You can tell the hotel is on the older side, but is still very clean and has all the amenities one needs. The pool was great, bar and restaurant onsite is a huge plus! Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only negative thing I have to say is that the door to the room is really heavy! I’m an average 53 yr old woman and not a total weakling, but that door made me struggle. Definitely not a deal breaker. I would stay here again.

    Breakfast was adequate. The handicap room walk in shower had no handrails so in my opinion was not ADA. Nothing to grip for moving off the toilet. Bathroom proper was tight

    Everything about this place was amazing. Great food, rooms and amenities! Super clean and the staff was so super friendly. David at check in was the best! Made us all feel right at home! Would definitely stay here again.

    The property location is convenient and close to the airport. The staff was friendly and room clean. I stayed in the Pure wellness room; it was great. The only problem we had was that the pool was closed for the day for cleaning. Bummer.

    Our experience was amazing. Staff was amazing room huge and phenomenal with the double queens plenty of channels for the TV bathroom was large as in handicap because I had two defective arms at the time. Can’t really find anything wrong except the room coffee out of the curtain machine that stuff I’m not sure what was going on, but it was really really bad. My little change out the pods and put fresh ones.

    To be honest, this was the hotel room we stayed in for a quick night after a flight and before heading off on the road. It was basically go in, fall onto bed, get up to shower and leave. Not a lot of time in the room but it was beautiful, clean, well-stocked. And the staff when coming in and leaving were super nice. The only downside was the breakfast situation. No continental breakfast. Meh. But even the cereal bar or oatmeal or a pastry would've counted as part of the breakfast buffet which came with a $17 price tag. I wasn't down with paying $17 for a bowl of cereal. But there was free coffe so at least there was that!

The staff interact in a caring way - and keep attentive to coffee refills, food refills on the buffet, and also with cleanliness. They were actually the best part of the staff in my opinion. Far warmer than the front desk! They also have worked there many years and praise their management!! Although the front desk people are "adequate" - having arrived twice from international travel where hospitality truly is an art for the whole country - adequate is just not much when arriving from all day flights!! Out of all my stays in Phoenix hotels for over 25 years - this hotel could really improve in this area!! Attitude of wanting your stay to be great is a wonderful way to serve the people who choose your hotel!

    My only complaint was the pillows I think they were big and fluffy but your head sunk clear through in them two was too much one wasn't enough but then I'm fussy about my pillows. My husband was fine with them

    This time the shuttle driver was great! Very helpful - left on time and communicated well - being helpful to insure I had a good experience. Dropped exactly where I needed to be!! That makes a big difference to me. Check in - not as expected at all other hotels I have stayed in ( a lot!!). Usually the staff goes out of their way to greet in a friendly manner and exude a desire to be helpful and ensure you have a positive stay. I have yet to experience that kind of attitude from the woman who is on evenings. She accuses me of being rude when I want to make sure that the information about the shuttle is clear and complete (which it has not always been in the past). I chalk it up to her life experience - however, good training could improve the situation... otherwise I may choose to stay at a different hotel. The one I loved and stayed at for years has closed - they recommended this hotel --- but it is not at all the attitude of service that the other hotel offered. AND to pay $10 a night for parking ... I thought it was $6 per night ... the other hotel was always free. lI want to like this hotel - just haven't been given a reason to after two stays. Another stay coming up --- let 3 be the charm???

    Great stay for stopover . Restaurant was great. Streaming options excellent. Shuttle service. Friendly Cleaning product smell (bleach) in rooms was overpowering. A suggestion would be to leave room doors open a bit after cleaning to evaporate fumes as there no windows to open.

    Overall it was a clean property, parking was easy but you do have to pay for parking which was fine but shouldn’t have to for the price of the hotel. The bed was uncomfortable and so were the pillows. Perfect location to be next to the airport and Celebrity Theater. I would stay again.

    Everything was an add on, the booking stated free parking but it cost $10 a day + a $50 deposit despite pre-paying. Couldn’t even grab water for free as it was $2 a bottle. They didn’t clean the room until the final night then walked in as we were changing 4 hours before checkout after knocking once.

    Staff was very nice. Rooms were clean. Mattresses were old and had crevices. Carpet was shabby and desperately needs to be replaced. Elevators were quick. Parking is a ten dollar charge which is unnecessary, because they offer a free shuttle so why not parking? Breakfast was advertised as on us from the hilton welcome tv ad and then they charged $17 for a basic breakfast you get free everywhere else. The location was great for my needs but overall definitely not worth the price charged.

    There is not much around the hotel, except for a night club or bar down & across the street (I could hear the music playing Friday night.). I think there are just warehouses and a large parking lot next to the hotel. The room with a King-size bed was clean and spacious. The TV had HBO Max and other streaming services. (The remote control takes a while to figure out. There are very few buttons) The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet cost about $17 and had the usual items: scrambled eggs, 3 or 4 types of bagels, sausage, bacon, juices (orange, apple, and grapefruit), hot brown tea (no green tea), coffee, hot cereals, fruit (cantaloupe, honey dew melon, …), and some pastry. I think they also had cold items like yogurt, granola, and some other toppings. They also had cold cereal in single serving boxes.

It wasn’t till we arrived that we saw it was no one in the lobby to distract the front deck. It was clear that the personnel cell phone was the distraction as we waited them to put the phone down.

    When we first arrived the guy behind the desk couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. He even gave us complimentary breakfast. The room was big and clean and comfortable. Parking was easy. My husband worked out in the gym and said it was very nice. Overall it was a great experience. We will definitely stay again!

    We originally booked a hotel down the street, HAD THE WORST first impression and refused to stay. We drove down the street to the Hilton Garden Inn and Jervon helped me with such warmth and kindness. I know he could tell I was frazzled, he went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. He got us into a beautiful clean room immediately (before their actual check in time) and I was so grateful! The room was large and clean and had everything we needed. They provide coffee in the mornings in the lobby starting at 4 AM! This is a big deal! Being near an airport many people have early flights. Hilton Garden Inn gained a customer for life! BRAVO Jervon! Thank you!

    Great place for a quick airport stop. The room didn’t feel 100% clean to me. There was hair on the hand towels, the sheet had a rip in it, and there was a dark spot on the one bed cover. Just kind of had that “this will do” feel instead of “yes I would return.” The staff I interacted with were very helpful and nice.

    The staff is definitely very friendly—there is no doubt about that. The price is exorbitant for such a dated hotel; the pillows are a disgrace—they feel like sheets of paper. The bathroom drains are slow, and I couldn't get any water pressure from the taps. They charge for Wi-Fi, and they charge for parking. But ultimately, it's my own fault for not checking more carefully, as I thought this was the *real* Hilton.

    The room was clean and neat. No issues. I requested a shower chair and the staff provided it promptly. It was fairly quiet. The TV remote was easy to navigate. The only thing was that the breakfast included was a bit sparse. They usually have bananas but there were none. The coffee looked like Starbucks but didn’t taste like it.

    Airport shuttle got a flat and we were on our own to get to the airport. Found out 10 minutes before we were set to go to the airport.     Check-in was smooth. We stayed on the 6th floor (of 10). There was no noise issue that I noticed. No complaints about the beds, bathroom, etc. We left before breakfast started, so I cannot comment on that. The room was quite spacious. The hotel / staff texted a couple of times (maybe automated) to confirm if we needed anything or if there were any issues. We didn't have any problems, but at least they are proactive about it. This property is less than 10 minutes away from Sky Harbor Airport via a shuttle, which you reserve via a QR code at the desk. The shuttle apparently runs at the top and bottom of each hour 24/7. The shuttle was full (at 5 a.m.) but the driver was helpful and efficient. The area close to the hotel seemed a bit sketchy. However, there also did not appear to be anything close to the hotel that would motivate you to walk in the area (restaurants, etc.). If you just need easy access to the airport for an early flight, this is worth considering.

    A maintenance guy walked in to our room while we were sleeping saying that he was coming in cuz we called in saying that our toilet wasn't working. So we told him that it wasn't us who called. My wife had to call down to the lobby using her cell phone cuz the phone on the room wasn't working. So she called in to see what was going on with the maintenance showing up early. They had told us that we had called in do to the toilet. We had told them that it wasn't us that called in and they kept sayings it was us, instead of apologizing.

    My only complaint, and it is a minor one, was that the wait staff in the attached Garden restaurant were not very good about keeping an eye on customer needs. For example, at our final dinner there, my travelling companion accidentally knocked over his water glass and as a result, the table top was awash. We waited and waited for someone to NOTICE and assist with cleanup, but that never happened. Even when the hostess came and took our credit cards for payment, no attempt was made to even so much as wipe off the remaining water on the table top. That, in my mind, was very inconsiderate!

The morning staff were nice and helpful, but the evening and afternoon staffs were rude and stand offish. The coffee in the mornings was easily and without a doubt the worst I have ever experienced in my life (and I literally grew up in hotels as my father managed them). The breakfast they were charging for could have and would have been a free continental breakfast at lesser name brand properties. This place needs a lot of work and this didn't meet the standards of the Hilton brand.

    The room was spotless with plenty of amenities. We loved the suite we had. It was very comfortable and roomy. We plan on staying here again. The only drawback was the lack of parking. I am handicapped and often the handicapped stalls were taken by cars with no handicap hang tag or license plate. When we told the front desk, they said they would inform their manager, otherwise there was nothing they could do. That was disappointing.

    Staff didn’t even acknowledge us when we entered the hotel. Before that the shuttle took over 30 minutes to arrive when we could see he was just sitting at the hotel that’s 5 minutes from the airport. The carpet and chairs in our room were dirty. One night there was loud music playing on our floor at 11 pm so we called to the front desk and nothing was done. We called to the front desk again after 40 minutes and the first person hadn’t even bothered to inform anyone about it. We got no sleep while we were at this hotel. The shower had no hot water and no pressure.

    He seemed very grumpy and was treated sloppy. I'm a gold member of Hilton, so when I asked for food and beverage credit at check-in, I was told that I couldn't get it. When I negotiated again the next day, I stayed for 2 nights, but I only got one night's credit. I was told that the reason was because I checked in in the middle of the night. Were Asians discriminated against? I want a refund of part of the accommodation fee.

    Very long week and was looking forward to a relaxing night. I found the bed and pillows to be uncomfortable, the tv would not turn on, there was a fairly strong smell of some type of pefume in the room and a few of the pillows on the bed smelled like they had been used by previous occupants. Normally the stay here is good, however, it seems like it is hit or miss, either the room is great and everything is solid or its like this trip. I did dine in the restaurtant which is always super solid, hats off to the staff and the chefs. Check in was easy and super quick. It's the rooms...very inconsitent quality. I will find it very hard to stay here again.

    Staff was poor. Upon arrival the check in person failed to write the room number on the key sleeve requiring a trip back to the counter with luggage to get the room number. Upon arrival at the counter I was giving the room number and upon arrival to the room the door was open and a worker was painting it, actual wet paint. I told him I didn't want to breath paint fumes all night and to get me another room and I would wait in the room for him to bring me a key. That was followed by a call to the room from the front desk asking me to come down once again. I explained the desk clerk that this was a Hilton Hotel and my expectation was they would bring me the key. This was met with disdain and a poor attitude. She just walked out and didn't even shut the door behind us. Clearly part of her job. So, the long and short is the franchisee is under paying staff and there is not enough to maintain a Hilton level of service. Drinks at the bar were overpriced also. $18.00 for drink is too much. This was the Phoenix Airport, not the Hotel Del Coronado or the La Valencia.

Would have eaten at hotel restaurant but server/waiter/bartender was one individual she was very attentive, but the restaurant was too crowded for her to handle alone. After waiting 30 minutes for her to take my order I decided to go somewhere else. She was very apologetic. Neighbor not very walkable so additional staff would help. The price was amazing and room was comparable to higher rated and more costly hotel. Really enjoy my stay and will return. Please get rid of a $10 parking fee.

    Room was in ok condition. It was dated and there was missing tile in the BR. Upon our arrival, 2 of the staff did not acknowledge us and continued their conversation over something on the computer. We asked about the airport shuttle and were told it ran every 30 minutes. In the am, when we were about to board the shuttle we learned that we should have made reservations to take the shuttle. That was not told to us. The shuttle was full. We took an uber into the airport. We will not return to this hotel.

    If you can avoid it, please do so. If you have no choice, you will live. We booked 4 days and never had room service. They arrived the last day while checking out. Dining options were limited. When you scanned the menu, nothing ever appeared. It only said to call a number. We were booked in a room next to a dog owner that barked at any noise. I tried to complain, but the line was too long.

    The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean. Very good amenities, and lots of parking if you need long term parking for your car for a trip from Phoenix airport. Close drive for food options, but nothing walkable, necessarily. They have a restaurant on the property with a menu for breakfast and dinner, with a bar. Very good food.

    First room had a bad sewer smell but front desk promptly switched me to another room which was great.     Staff was great. We stayed a total of 2 nights in that hotel, different rooms, 2 weeks apart. Both times the bed was really hard and the shower wouldn't get hot even though the sink water would get really hot. It's annoying to not be able to take a nice shower and then try to sleep on a rock hard bed.

    Room was outdated Furniture needs some attention and worst yet the pillows on the bed have seen better days. They were about 3 inches thick and you could literally roll them up in a ball. Terrible night sleep as I only got about 2 hour sleep. Would not recommend this hotel. I have to say the front desk staff was very professional and friendly as that’s why I gave them a star.

    The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. There is no free breakfast. They offer a breakfast buffet for $16.99 per person that consists of fake eggs and the basic breakfast items you would expect for free at any other hotel. It was insulting. They also charge for parking, but there were hardly any handicapped spots available.

    Yes, I would say that the room was spotless. Yes, I would say that the staff was courteous. The breakfast server was very friendly and made me and it seemed everyone feel at home. The driver whose name was Mike was like a friend, he was a blessing. I worked with at least 3 front desk personnel, one maintenance person, and the two other employees I mentioned and they were all very nice. I would stay here again. The breakfast food was good.

    I waited 2 hours in the cold for the shuttle that never appeared. Phoned the hotel numerous times asking where and when the shuttle would be coming. They assured me it would be on its way. My final call the desk clerk said her manager would drive the shuttle to pick me up. Never happened. Finally the Holiday Inn shuttle driver gave me a ride because she could watch me stand in the cold any longer. She drove me to the Hilton in the Holiday Inn Shuttle. Hilton didn't care less. Who does that????

    We did not have any housekeeping- not even towels even after putting them all in the floor of the bathroom. Someone put new snacks in but never replaced them. We requested them in the evening when we got back and they never came. We had to go to the lobby and get them ourselves.

    The shuttle. Each time the same employee responded with “shortly”. The second and third call we asked how long shortly was and were Told, “mam, this is a complimentary shuttle, You can take an Uber if you’d like.” True, but travelers book these hotels for the convenience We later found out through a driver from another hotel that the Hilton Garden Inn doesn’t have a dedicated driver at night. Their security guard does both security and shuttles. They don’t go every 20 minutes. This was confirmed by another employee when we checked in. If we’d known it was going to be over an hour, we probably would have booked an UBER, instead we were led to believe it would arrive shortly. The shuttle never did arrive. Another hotel’s shuttle was kind enough to take us at no charge.

    They keep the overpriced (non complimentary) bottles of water *right next to* the coffee maker. So OF COURSE half-awake folks like me—maybe without their contacts in or their glasses on—are going to grab that water and use it to make coffee, right? Come to find out, I got charged $2.60 for water, when we had actually brought our own water and certainly did not need their water! After I put my glasses on, I was able to see that there was a deceptive tag on the water. It said FREE, but then in smaller type, it said that it was free only for people at a certain membership level. Again… We had brought our own bottles of water. We did not need their water, so I called the front desk to tell them that I had made an honest mistake in using their water. I thought for sure that for $2.60, they would want to have a happy, repeat customer. Instead, the woman said that this doesn’t happen to anybody else, and she made me feel bad about my mistake. I asked her to not charge me, but she did—despite the fact that we actually left THEM a fresh bottle of water, so there should have been no reason to charge us (we replaced what we used). Soooooooo cheap and mean!!!! They oughta be ashamed of themselves!

    A staff person standing near the front desk heard us ask the front desk park where to get our water bottles filled. We had eight size plastic bottles. She walked us over to a restaurant area that was empty and stood behind the bar and filled all eight bottles. Use from the plastic gloves as well. That was amazing service!

    The airport shuttle arrived 15 minutes after we called and driver Larry was courteous and friendly. A cheerful welcome after 32 hours of travel. Check in staff was as well. We were able to get a late supper of delicious burgers and off to sleep in our comfortables room. Well done Hilton!

    The hotel itself looks nice and stands alone as a tall beacon in an otherwise kind of sketchy area. We were relieved to see it in the distance as we were arriving after a late flight into PHX. Our room did leave a bit to be desired. The bathroom either didn't have a fan or it didn't work (unclear) but as a result, the bathroom smelled damp/moldy and after taking a shower, it stayed hot and steamy in there which made putting makeup on difficult for the female traveler(s). Also, apparently all of the ice machines were broken... on every floor. The late night desk receptionist said the first floor ice machine was working but it wasn't. If we had planned to stay there any longer than the one night after flying in, I would have complained about several things, but we were just there to sleep before heading out early in the morning, so I didn't bother. Not great.

    The room was great. There needs to be a VERY CLEAR phone number to call for the shuttle from the airport. That was frustrating. The number I called went to VM. :(.     I'm giving 3 stars for staff because there is one staff member that doesn't respect guests or other staff. We chose to eat dinner elsewhere because of her. Our check-in person was very pleasant but was interrupted by this young woman, completely disregarding that we were being helped with check in. Likewise the bartender was efficient and pleasant but also interrupted by her while taking our order and assisting other guests. It was extremely unprofessional. I could relay other instances of her behavior while we had a drink but I think you get the message. She needs training or firing. Apart from her, we like the hotel.

    The area feels very unsafe. The gas station closet to the hotel had at least 30 homeless/drug addicts in the parking lot. Leave there scared. Walk in and there is a man screaming at the front desk as they’ve been locked out of their room. Begging for more time in their room because their “father is sending money”. It felt very unsafe. Got to the room and the bedding looked like it was purchased 20 yrs ago. The hotel is close to the airport but it may be worth a further drive to be safer somewhere else.

    Convenient to Phx airport with a hotel shuttle that was on time. Room had necessary accommodations and was clean. At check in we were given a better room at the booked price because we were Hilton Honors members. Food was good and service quick

    Rooms were clean and comfortable; airport shuttle was clean and efficient although better information for how to get the shuttle would be helpful. The room’s air conditioner rattled all night every time it came on making it very challenging to stay asleep.

    A/C only worked intermittently during the night, turned it down to 65 but still hot and humid. Bathroom sink low flow and stopper not working. Needs new shower head. No extra blanket in closet. Lobby bathroom doors sticking. This is an older location and needs more than cosmetic updates.

    I prepaid for this room and was told that I owed for the stay. I was asked to provide a credit card, Plus they wanted a $50 deposit. I found the receipt for payment and showed the receptionist who said that she would need to verify it.

    We were there only for the one night since we were flying out the next morning. Picked this location since it was by the airport and allowed us to leave our vehicle there for the 2 weeks were we’re gone, for a nominal fee. Shuttle driver service was prompt, professional and quick. Only negative was the morning we left our room,the halls and common areas were extremely hot. It appeared the HVAC has gone out during the night. The staff was making the best out of an unfortunate mechanical malfunction.

    From the moment we arrived, the customer service was truly outstanding—friendly, attentive, and welcoming.     Perfect room...my son is disabled and the room gave plenty of space for moving around. Only 11 minute drive to Banner Transplant Hospital where his appointment to meet surgeon was the next morning. GREAT breakfast!

    My room was minus the remote for the tv. I went down twice to tell the staff and called once. Maintenance never came. Also no AC in the lobby/breakfast area. the poor staff had fans blowing on them. Very uncomfortable to eat.
