Hampton Inn Phoenix-Airport North

The airport transport was welcomed after a day of flying.. The pool was refreshing. And the breakfast had something for all six of us, kids and all.

I like this network in all country! Very helpful staff, clean rooms and good breakfast! We come back again 😉

Very nice hotel, stayed due to delayed flight so arrived late and left early. Website says stay includes airport transportation so I called hotel when we landed and they did not have a shuttle but they did provide a Lyft ride (they paid for it). Much faster and easier than typical shuttles. Didn't get to try breakfast since we had to leave very early for our flight.

My flight had a change of time frame and wound up landing much earlier then anticipated. They were able to accommodate getting me a room way ahead of schedule. All staff was very helpful and the breakfast was good.

Close to the airport for a great value. Room had all of the nice amenities (fridge, microwave, coffee-maker). Jordan at the Front Desk was very friendly and helpful. Within walking distance to some franchise restaurants if you can endure the heat of Phoenix.

A great one night stand.

In addition to cleanliness, modern, spacious room, etc, the hotel staff picked up the phone very quickly when I called and got me a Lyft ride to and from the airport for free. They use this service now instead of a shuttle van, and it was quick and efficient.

I have to say that the staff was exceptionally helpful. The room was fantastic and very clean. And the breakfast of course was much standard but delicious. One of the things that system apart is they actually have smaller Belgian waffle makers. We can create some small ones instead of having to have a huge one

Transportation to/from PHX was easily arranged and prompt. Convenient to PHX. Didn't have time to enjoy breakfast, but I am sure it would have been more than sufficient.

Of course, I went down to the lobby, reported the incident and had to ask for a form to fill out. But first I had to locate the on duty lobby staff person who was outside, leaning against a pillar on her cell phone while smoking a cigarette. I filled out an incident report inside my room number 331describing what had occurred. Upon my return to the lobby area once again, I had to locate the staff member who is outside again, leaning against the pillar and smoking a cigarette while on her phone. What’s back in the room? I decided to call down to the lobby and get an incident number. The staff member told me she would look into it and call me back and never did. The next morning, I was met with the same height of unfriendly demeanor on the part of the person behind the desk. I asked for a copy of the incident report that she was either unable to operate the coffee machine or it was nonfunctional so I never got a copy. She handed me a torn piece of Notebook tablet to write down my email, so the manager could send a copy to me. I never received any information from the manager or inquiry. This is my 3rd stay at this establishment and I most likely will never return. I stay there because of the proximity to the airport. Guess what’s next!

The hotel did not get my reservation from Hotels.com and I had to wait for a while and was on the phone with someone from Hotels.com for over an hour then they hung up and never called me back. Very dissapointing! Not sure if I will use Hotels.com again!

Location Bathroom smelled so awful like mold and feces. The bathroom door didn’t shut all the way, there was no fan. The ac unit rattled The extra blanket in the closet smelled rancid. The fridge in the room didn’t get cold. The front desk staff at check in was cold and off putting.

This is being picky but it’s the first thing I noticed, as well as the pillows. We didn’t get to breakfast so I can’t comment on much of anything else.

Checkin was fast and efficient. The room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast. Both times I got coffee it was lukewarm. There is no shuttle schedule. They call a Lyft for the customers to go to the airport. It's nice that it's close to the airport.

Location. I was unable to use the air conditioner to stay comfortably cool. The motor was so loud constantly, I could not have slept. I turned it off and was not cool enough to sleep comfortably. They need a new air conditioner.

Francisco was very friendly as well as helpful and professional at check in. There was minor issue with our TV and he promptly got it fixed and working. The room was lovely, well furnished and stocked with amenities.Breakfast was tasty.

Hotel is well located, we usually pay $8-$15 to shopping areas, restaurants, etc (some XL rides, tip included). Room was very clean, the breakfast was good alternating between scrambled eggs and omelets, sausages , bacon and breakfast patties, plus the usual American breakfast. Staff were friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. They keep stock of clean towels by the pool so you don’t have to bring any from the room. They do not have a shuttle on site by they schedule a Lyft from/to the airport upon request. Overall we are pleased with our stay. Definitely recommended.

The shuttle airport was the easiest part of the stay. The bathroom stunk like sewage and it spread through the room. It was pretty disgusting. There was mold in the bathroom stall in several areas (I took pictures).

Room with 1 ben in bedroom and 2 queens in living room was great. Good to have liquid soap for hand wash. Remember hotel is ~15 min away from Car Rental Center (and it again takes ~15 min to terminal via train) so plan airport trip accordingly.

I have to say the breakfast was the best literally hotels usually don’t have good eggs, but they made a omelette. It was amazing. My daughter and I had fun in the pool conveniently close to the airport. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Staff was really nice definitely enjoyed our stay.

The staff is responsive and very pleasant, the room is very large with ample space to relax on the sofa with ottoman. The bathroom is spacious with extra large sink and vanity space for all your travel accessories. Good design for 2 people. Great parking and shuttle service to/from the airport. Will definitely recommend

Staff were extremely nice and helpful, especially Lakkeysha. My room was a little small, but the bathroom was very spacious. The toilet paper holder was not secure and would sometime drop, and the roll would fall on the floor. The shower head sprayed out on all settings making a mess. It needs to be cleaned out. But, overall I was happy.

I love the spot. I had a really clean room and it was really close to the airport. It was very easy to navigate me not being from around the area at all. I was able to get to and from easy and I was able to have my breakfast in the morning And a nice clean comfortable room to sleep in at night

I was traveling with large dog & they put us in a very nice room anyway. In my experience, not all hotels do that but have designated "pet friendly" rooms that're not at all as nice as people only rooms. I really appreciated that!

Stayed here one night last minute after a flight snafu. Checked in around 1130pm easy process. No airport shuttle but staff will call a rideshare to get you back to the airport. Rooms clean and quiet and was nice as I was dead asleep until their robo system texted me at around 345 am asking if I needed anything 😡 usually get this auto text about 20-15 min after check in (seeing if I need extra towels or such). Completely broke up my sleep and destroyed my rest fortunately did not wake the family. Breakfast was hotel basic egg waffle fruit cereal such. Pool was out of service and in Phoenix in July at 107 outside that is horrible. Fitness room basic and small but clean and comfortable for what was there. Overall not bad for a one night stay if they can fix the robo text system (which I did address to staff that morning and they apologized and said will address to upper management)

One key for the room seemed to unlock the door but the handle would not open the door. Luckily the other key worked okay. The bed surface was quite hard. The grout in the tile in the bathroom showed signs of significant water damage and was completely missing between the tub and the toilet.

Good property for an overnight close to the airport. They offer complimentary Lyft to/from the airport which is a bonus so you don't have to wait on a shuttle. Will stay again if I need an airport hotel.

The website says they're is a shuttle from airport to hotel. It's actually a complimentary Lyft. We had to call the hotel instead of just waiting at the hotel shuttle pickup. Knowing that before hand would have been great. All in all a great stay

The room is clean, and the location is great for airport access. You may prepare cash for a tip for the taxi driver that the hotel orders, as only cash is accepted.

The beds were so comfortable after our mushy beds in Sedona. We stayed one night for a flight and our kids even mentioned how this room was better than Sedona Hilton. lol Staff was so helpful and kind and they provide Lyft's to the airport for free!

I like that they did not try to nickle and dime me with small charges (i.e. $10 for water bottle). I appreciated the hot breakfast and that it was included in the price. The room was bright, clean, and relaxing.

We were particularly pleased with the check in as we were an hour early yet the desk clerk allowed us to have a room. We appreciated this gesture greatly and were glad to get settled for our last night in AZ. So far the facility and experience are positive.

Got a handicap room with an edgeless shower which got the bathroom floor wet and we had to use several towels to mop up the water. Why hand out a room like that unless we are clearly in need? I hate hotels "take what you get" approach and their lame excuses. Give customers a choice when there are more than one room left. Traffic noise was louder than expected.

We choose this hotel because it featured a heated pool, was not heated. Pool hours were 10am-6pm however it changed with a different staff member. Some inconsistency issues but we moved on. Not staying here again.

Great service, very clean property, rooms are clean and nice also. The only thing that made my stay not excellent was the bed. The springs in the bed made noise every time I moved. Which actually woke me up from sleeping a few times.

Great help from desk clerk with checking in and transportation plus with internet access and TV operation.

Best room I’ve stayed in for a long time

I had one very big problem while staying there January 24th and 25th. I came into Phoenix to watch Kenny G concert at the celebrity theater. Also I had one main thing that I really liked about your hotel is that you said you had a grill by the pool for use for everybody. My future fiance and me we brought steaks we went to Kenny G concert and at the concert I got on my knees and I proposed to her and asked her for her hand in marriage. She accepted it was a wonderful time indeed for both her and I. We both decided that we were going to have steak one night for dinner we are going to cook it on the grill and we're going to take it to our room and have a very romantic time together. As we went down to the grill we found out the grill is broken. When I walked up on the grill I wondered if it would even work for it wasn't even standing straight up and down it was all bent like somebody had fallen on it it was in horrible disrepair. I talked to the lady at the front desk she tried to light it and could not get it lit. The igniters didn't work and she tried to light it with a match with no success. That is the main reason why we came to your facility is because you had a grill but here to find out as you advertise the grill there was no grill on the premises that worked for anybody that stayed there. Very disappointed we had to throw our steaks away and we went to Chili's. In the future if you're going to advertise you have something I believe it ought to be usable

Wonderful hotel! Very clean room, and throughout the property as well. The staff was outstanding too! Also, I appreciated the free transportation that was provided to/from the hotel!

I was very impressed with this hotel. It was clean and comfortable. They offered a very nice free breakfast and the staff was very accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Limited breakfast buffet but hot fresh and tasty. Good coffee!

Liked that it was close to airport. Our flight was delayed & the hotel cancelled our reservation. So they didn’t have our room when we finally arrived. They re-booked us into a room that was already occupied. Finally got in to a room after waking other people. Breakfast was good, room was spacious & clean.
