Reviews
The hotel provides good value for its price, with clean and spacious rooms, decent breakfast, and friendly staff. However, the property is in need of maintenance and updates, and the surrounding area is often described as unsafe and filled with homeless people and drug users.

This was the second time we stayed at the Green Tree Phoenix West. It has security which was one of our important features. The hotel is quiet and well kept. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Janet greeted us at the check in desk. She was professional, friendly, helpful and made us feel welcomed. It was a quick overnight stay so we were not able to have breakfast. Our room was , quiet and comfortable . When we need to stay in the area we will always be staying at this hotel.
- 3/5
Area is a little Cathy but that’s not the property’s fault. The lady who checked up is was very nice. Breakfast was a little lackluster we ended up getting breakfast at the McDonald’s next door. Our room was clean though.

Very good
- 4/5
The hotel was an older hotel but met our needs. The pool was out of service. The property and rooms could benefit from a refresh (bathrooms and ceilings). The staff were wonderful and they had onsite security. We enjoyed the balcony and the view of the mountains and sunset.
- 3/5
The room was comfortable. Generally a clean property. Vigilant security. Quick access to I-10. At least they try to have a breakfast spread. Pool closed. Room carpet dirty. Room couch stained and dirty. Breakfast was unappealing. This property is in a bad area, with homeless, mentally ill or drugged people, and apparent gang or illegal activities. You should not walk off property, even to McDonald’s.

Location was perfect The pool water was extremely cold and the hot tub was jets we’re broken. Staff was good about informing of the parts were ordered and they were waiting to have it repaired.
- 1.5/5
Convenient location The towels in the bathroom were neatly folded but when we unfolded to use they were dirty. The floor was also dirty with hairs all over the place. The receptionist charged me for the stay plus deposit when I got there even after I said I had paid through booking.com And later was told she was new and the other staff in the morning shift had to fix her mistake costing me $400 for a single night stay at this location when it should have been $148

Room was very clean

The bed and bathroom are ok but wifi connection, the light of the room , TV are not working well. It seems that proper maintenance is not being carried out for each room.

Didnt have breakfast main reaaon we went back. We stayed in sept. And they had breakfast it was advertised but they only had cereal coffee and toast
- 2/5
Hotel is outdated, looks old and had musty smell in rooms (booked 2 rooms). Went to breakfast the first morning we stayed there only to find out only items available were cold cereal, yogurt and old toast! Website stated "hot" breakfast buffet! The only thing hot was the coffee and tasted like it had been sitting there for days. Went to front desk to ask for a key replacement due to forgetting in the room and employee was in the office snoring and taking a nap! Security guard, who by the way is sitting on the couch with fan on next to him, had to wake her up! Asked for clean towels and front desk and was asked room number and name on reservation and was told no one by that name was registered! Our last morning there called the front desk multiple times to see about doing a late check out and the phone juts rang and rang. Finally went down stairs to speak with front desk clerk. No one was there. Heard someone yell across the lobby from kitchen asking "what do you want?" I amde her come to front desk so I can speak with her. Asked if we could do a late check out, only needed an hour. She stated it was too late to do that and that I should have asked earlier! I told her I had been calling and no answer. She said I have been her all morning, I just stepped away 15 minutes ago. This was the same person who was napping the day before on the job. She also admitted she was hard of hearing. Maybe she didn't hear the phone ring! DO NOT RECOMMEND, WILL NOT STAY HERE EVER!

We stayed there twice, a week apart on our way to and from California. The hotel was disgusting. The rooms smelled of stale coffee, the bathroom grout was full of mold. The ice machine can’t have been cleaned ever because we were pulling out cubes filled with black mold and sludge. The breakfast wasn’t any better. The scrambled eggs were burnt and wet. There was a puddle of condensation at the bottom of the eggs… plus the turkey sausage was so dry the skin was pulling from the meat and it tasted like it was about to go rancid. Very poor quality hotel. No interest in ever visiting again. Yuck!

parking didn't feel very safe. towels and bedsheets were not clean.
- 2/5
Disappointing
- 4/5
Barely any breakfast, NOT a continental breakfast (just cereal, bagels, waffles, juices) the room was clean when I arrived but there was no blow dryer and housekeeping cleaned the room once a week unless booked upon. Parking was spacious but sometimes had to look for parking so definitely not as big as it can be. A LOT of homeless in the area so it felt a bit sketchy driving and parking at night but it was alright.

- 5/5
Room was clean, check in/out was easy and staff was pleasant. Surrounding neighborhood isn't the best, but i felt safe on property. This is the nicest hotel in the area and for a reasonable price. Breakfast was a little disappointing as there was no protein. Only cereal and waffles, no eggs or anything.
- 5/5
I love everything
- 3/5
Eh, you can tell it's a little dated, along with the lack of other shopping centers. It was built in the 80s based on the pretty woman vibes it once had. Sheets were clean and a nice vintage entrance way. Staff was nice but can use improvement based on presentation and decorum. Breakfest is eh, overall it needs more natural light, new decor to be more modernized with new lights. The energy was a little off as the inside was gloomy and lackluster. It would've been nice back then but its time for new welcoming energy.

They can do better on the breakfast. The pancake machine was not functional.

It was fine, the bed was soft and pillows were clean and didn’t smell or anything
- 4/5
Front desk staff were warm and friendly. Unfortunately, breakfast was not good and the property does need some upgrades. Overall, it wasn't bad for a short trip.
- 3/5
Having a room on the side of the freeway was terrible. All night we heard sirens, noisy ass cars and every now and then we heard the neighbor hit the wall. I will never get a room by the freeway again. We had 2 sleepless nights and so glad to be home 😊

It was old and dirty from the parking lot with trash, prostitution and drugs. The clerk was rude and did not greet with a hello. The room was so old and had a musty smell. The bathroom was dirty, the bathroom faucet was eaten up by rust. The toilet had stain, the bathtub was dirty and tile had mold. The floor was stained with coffee… the view from the window was the homeless camped in the field. This building needs to be remodeled…
- 1/5
The elevator broke I asked for accessible room for my 90-year-old mother a walker. They put us on the fourth floor. The elevator broke the front. Staff was very rude. The phones in the room didn’t work. They only clean the rooms every three days and request in a refund.
- 1/5
Breakfast pathetic, parking good
- 4/5
The free breakfast was mostly bread and cereal based with some yogurt -that seemed more a continental breakfast
- 5/5
Clean room with a lot of space very very comfortable
- 3/5
Hotel lobby was probably the best part of the hotel. Rooms were decent and clean, but definitely needed some maintenance. The bathroom drains weren't clearing properly and a few of the lights in the room didn't work. The AC also has issues. The staff at the front were very friendly and helpful though. However, location was questionable. It's in close proximity to almost everything you need from food to clothing, but the area is surrounded with homeless, something we didn't know until we got there. They don't bother, but on the 2nd night, we ended up checking out early the next morning due to gunshots in the parking lot at 3am. We got no sleep after that and ended up checking out early and moving over to Chandler. Thankfully we paid at the hotel itself, so they were able to refund us for the night we weren't going to use. Overall, aside from the crazy second night, it was a decent hotel, but we won't be back.
- 2/5
The breakfast was the worst breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel. The room was very dirty, and the pool looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in at least a month. The room was extremely dark. You could hardly see anything in there, barely any lighting. And there was a huge homeless encampment all around the hotel. So as soon as you open your window, that’s all you can see. The staff was friendly.

Pretty nice hotel consideing the area of Phoenix is suspect.

We asked for our beds to be made and housekeeping never came by/ the view had a couple homeless camps outside .. but overall it was a great stay .
- 2/5
Included breakfast: bread and toaster. No condiments and nothing else except coffee. Nothing more. Bathroom tub and shower had big-time mold at every joint. In room air conditioner controls inoperative and produced noise just this side of the business end of a 737 engine of takeoff.
- 3/5
Breakfast was nothing but bread, no cereal. They did not have even tooth brush to offer. Very old property
- 5/5
Great location. Well maintained. Hands on staff. Seamless chekc in and check out. No complaints.
- 5/5
The staff was very helpful, I forgot my earrings in the room but no one called me to let me know
- 1/5
The carpet in the room is outdated and dirty. After I took a shower, I dried my hair with towel then suddenly something poked my finger. I found a sewing needle in my towel. Last one , when my husband and I ready to go to bed, we found hairs on my bed. We called the room service but no available service to bring a new sheet. My husband went downstairs and gave the bedsheets. As we. about to change the sheets, it was a single bedsheet not kingsize so my husband went back downstairs to pick up a kingsize sheet. It was a one night hotel experience.

Everything clean nicr respectful staff

Loved the rug so dirty you saw spills everywhere. The couch had no buttons on it and ripped, the sink did not drain and enough mold in the shower you could scrap it off and the bottom of the shower had rust in it and no covering. Would not stay there ever and recommend that Expedia drops them
- 0.5/5
The dispensers in the shower did not work. After getting in and all wet I went to get shampoo and a f the pump would give out NOTHING.

Stay and staff were great.
- 2/5
I would not recommend this place nor would we stay there again. The breakfast was gross. The parking lot felt not safe. The bathroom light was not working. The lighting was poor everywhere. Wild cats were roaming around because they fed them in the parking lot. The shower faucet was installed incorrectly so the temperature was nearly impossible to get correct. The grab bar in the shower is broken. The sink drained very slowly. Paint is peeling everywhere and there is mold in the shower. There is no counter space in the bathroom. I would not even list them on hotels.com.
- 5/5
What stood out most was how naturally friendly and thoughtful they were. It never felt forced or transactional; they created an atmosphere that made me feel comfortable and taken care of right away. That kind of energy makes a huge difference when traveling. They handled everything with professionalism and ease while still being personable, which is not something you find everywhere. It’s clear they take pride in what they do, and it shows in how they treat guests. Honestly, they are a big part of why this stay felt so positive. Team members like them deserve to be recognized — they absolutely represent the hotel in the best way possible, and I truly believe they deserve a raise for the level of service they provide.

Nothing! It’s next to a freeway and the area is ugly ! You have watch out for your vehicles Everything even the front desk was rude!after traveling from Colorado! I’d expect good service not someone being rude to me after a long drive i also did not feel welcomed! I got turned away because of my visa debt card!!!! And they took my money still. After all, I’ve been to wayyy nicer hotels that cost way more that are very elegant and had no problem getting a room with the same debt card!

The screws on the top hinge of the bathroom door in room 252 were coming out. This made it difficult to close the bathroom door. Also, the toilet is not properly secured to the floor. It rocks when you sit on it. The air conditioner is extremely loud and woke me up a few times during the night. I reported the bathroom door and toilet issues ti the front desk, and no person ever came to the address the issues. I attempted to get a late checkout, which normally they provide, but because this is their 'off-season" they could not accommodate me because their housekeeping staff were restricted from working overtime. The property was one of the participating hotels for people attending the Nike basketball session. I feel they should have planned for the additional guests.

I LIKED THE FACT THAT THE TOWELS DID NOT SMELL LIKE BLEACH, AND THE AIR INSIDE THE ROOM WAS NOT HEAVY WITH CLEANING ODORS! AND YET WAS CLEAN. WHATEVER YOU USE IS WONDERFUL. LOVED THE BALCONY ALSO. MORE THAN ONE ELEVATOR...

The security guard helped me to my room and checking the keys to a room that don’t work (I had to switch) after the keys didn’t work 3 times and I had to go back and forth . I came to the hotel at 1:30am after I had my passport stolen and wallet, and could not board a flight. I had called the front desk agent at midnight confirming that my partner could pay for my hotel with his credit card and that it would be okay to check in with a credit card authorization. So I checked the whole rental car and circled back to a few places before arriving at 1:30am. The front desk lady, DJ, could not find the authorization form through her webpage. Once she found it, she then asked my boyfriend to fill it out, took a long time processing it, then asked me to contact him again to send a picture of the card and his drivers license. He lives in Ontario, and he was already sleeping. Then later, asked him to write his address in full and resend it. By this time, I checked in two hours later at 3:30am. Hookers literally were checking in before me, as I waited in the lobby (which the uber driver warned me about the neighbourhood while dropping me off). The room she checked me in to, had a fault lock system. I went back and forth three times exhausted as the front desk lady told me I probably demagnetised the card. In the end, the security guard came up with the master key, confirmed it wouldn’t open, and she switched me to another room. I slept on top of the sheets as it looked sketchy, and you could hear the traffic outside as there was space in the window. Overall, not worth paying $350 CAD. I used to work front desk, and this was the worst service I have ever experienced.

Parking was tight, but that may be normal for a big city. The room seemed clean. We were on second floor and had a balconly. There was a lot of trash on the roof that was just below the balcony railing. The tub looked in rough shape, the finish was rubbed off on the floor. The toilet barely flushed. I had to hold the down for a long time.Water in the sink had to run for several minutes before it got hot. The microwave did not work. We put a cup of room temp water in for 5 minutes and it was the same temp when we pulled it out. After we checked in, we were only in the room for a short time before we left. We returned late that night and that is when we noticed the issues. I reported it to the staff and she dismissed everything. The next morning we went down for breakfast (at 7am) there were a few mini muffins, waffle mix and a waffel iron, and 2 dry cereal choices. There was a juice machine the cranberry juice was gone, the oj was very watered down & I didn't even try for the apple juice. Coffee was good. The experience was not good and I want my money back.

Very clean, nice staff, huge bed. No one told us there would be construction in the room down the hall from us starting at 7:30 in the morning. Banging with hammers, using a drill, overall the most unpleasant way to wake up after checking in around 2am from a concert, picked this hotel because of a decent price and nice reviews but some where on the website there should be a warning about the construction taking place.

The rooms seemed recently upgraded. The bed was really comfortable, the pillows were soft, and it was nice having both a fridge and microwave. Breakfast was okay—nothing amazing, but good enough for a quick bite. There are also several fast food spots within walking distance, including a McDonald’s, which was convenient. The main downside was the surrounding area. It wasn’t the cleanest, and there were quite a few homeless individuals around, some appearing to be using drugs, which made it feel a bit sketchy at times. That said, the hotel does have security on-site, and after 9pm you need a room key to enter, which helped. It worked well for us since we were there for spring training and just needed a place to sleep. If you’re not planning to spend much time at the hotel, it gets the job done—but the area is something to keep in mind.
- 4/5
Room was clean. Bed was comfortable, grouting in bathtub needs some attention. Outdoor patio had more piles of bird poop than I could count. Very disgusting, and unsanitized. A tremendous amount of homeless people in and around hotel property .
- 4/5
Our two parties had rooms nextdoor to each other as we'd requested On Friday night the entire area around the hotel lost power. We were on the fourth floor and went down to the stairwell to exit and there were no emergency lights in the stairwell. We had to get to and open the entrance to the floors below to have enough light for the others to see well enough to go down the stairs. The stairwells MUST be illuminated with emergency lights when the hotel loses power.
- 4/5
Clean room, accommodating staff, plenty of parking and good breakfast.

Breakfast lady, Lupita and front desk lady on 2nd shift LillyAnne or Jillian were exceptional. Rest of the staff was good.

I felt comfortable coming in and out of the property during the day and coming in after sun down. I was alone and felt completely comfortable. I would stay there again if I need to. My bed was wonderful. The bathroom had a vent in it and I truly appreciated that small detail. It was quiet at night and I slept well. The location was close to the business I had to take care of and family. The property was perfect for my needs.
- 4/5
The gym needs to be upgraded. Other then that its a good place and the staff are very nice.
- 3/5
The presentation couldve been better wishes they had more breakfats variety than just carbs.
- 1/5
Broken front door, mold in restroom, very little food, and I had to continually ask for towels and basic necessities.
- 5/5
The breakfast was pretty good versus other places ive stayed that offered the same but delivered less than. The manager lilliana i hope I got that right was amazing, she went above and beyond for me. There was an issue with booking.com and she stayed on my side and gave me a room until things got figured out. I would stay again just because of her alone. The pool was a little outdated but it was good. Nothing

- 2/5
Don't waste your money here, I was under the impression from the photos on the website that this place would be a comfortable stay, but was in for an extremely unplesant surprise. Its location is in a bad neighborhood, lots of homeless people in the area. Housekeeping kept forgetting to come to our room constantly through out our stay there, and they didnt even do a good job when they did stop by. There was mold in the showers and walking barefoot on the carpet left the bottom of my feet stained black. For the price range, definitely not worth the stay, and I will not be returning
- 4/5
Other staff didn't really speak with us. The elevator was broken every day and they lock the doors from the outside so you can't use the stairway. There was some breakfast but It was clean and that is a lot considering the area.
- 3/5
We had an enjoyable stay at Green Tree. However there were some areas that need some improvement. One was hotel towels. How do you run out? We had 4 people in our room only got 2 towels and we were told there were no more. The morning breakfast had no coffee, they ran out as well. And the front desk lady, although pleasant, was all alone trying to assist everyone. We had a lot of waiting to do because there was no one else there to help her. The room and beds were nice.

It was fine

They need to update their website. There is no restaurant as shown in pictures. Only vending machines no ability to purchase laundry soap or anything as shown in photos. Breakfast is a typical hotel breakfast nothing special. Shower had some mold in it. Otherwise staff is very friendly. The area is pretty shady as well
- 1/5
Upon inspecting the bed in Room 438, we found a substance underneath the mattress on the box spring that appeared unsanitary and had clearly been there for a long time. We left immediately and had to book another hotel that same night. The issue was reported, but we did not receive a response from the hotel. This experience was very disappointing and did not meet basic standards of cleanliness.

the area around the property feels very unsafe. Heard gun shots through the night and there were a lot of homeless and transient people in the parking lot and surrounding area. Staff was kind and helpful as much as they could’ve but the hotel itself feels very run down and unclean.

Bed was great otherwise the place is a dump I’ll never stay there again at any price

For nearly the entire time we were there, there was a problem with the DirecTV not working. Initially, some stations were ok and others didn’t work at all. Eventually ( for about 4 days) we got no stations at all. It took at least 4 days after I first asked about it for them to get the technician to come and finally fix it the day before we left. Very, very frustrating and disappointing.
- 4/5
The Wi-fi connection is poor. I had better luck connecting to the McDonalds across the street. I would suggest a personal hot spot. The TV went out had way through Saturday evening.

Front desk person checking in was wonderful super nice. The room…bed was horrible, it dipped in the middle, it had to have been really really old and bathroom had mold in the shower, tub was clean but the wall had black mold, yuck.
- 4/5
Front desk was slow in the evening. Housekeeping only left one towel and one washcloth per room!
- 1/5
Room neglected. Shampoo dispenser and hair dryer. TV didn't work most of the night, even after the manager tried to help. The staff were very nice.
- 3/5
The room was ok breakfast was not so good eggs where cold
- 5/5
Room was very clean and spotless all amenities were stocked and very relaxing stay
- 3/5
Had to go ask for coffee cups and plastic cups for water. Breakfast was limited. Some diced potatoes that were a little overcooked, scrambled eggs were good. No meat. Eating area was clean. Weird setup.Stairs only go the outside. Glad for elevators to the upper floors.
- 5/5
Friendly, very clean
- 4/5
Polite staff.
- 1/5
The room smelled like BO the moment you walked in. The restroom looked like there was black mold. Not sure how it has a rating above seven but I’ll definitely not be staying here again.
- 5/5
There are homeless people around the outside area, but it's nothing to be scared of. There are homeless people all around big cities and that's just part of city life. Oh, and plenty of food options near by. You could walk to several fast food places within 2 minutes of the hotel.
- 1/5
Great lobby — and that’s about where it stops. Our room had holes in the sheets, a fist-sized hole in the bathroom door, and sewage backing up into the bathtub drain when the toilet was flushed. Completely unacceptable and unsanitary. We did receive a refund, which was necessary, but I would never stay here again.
- 3/5
Ok
- 1/5
Bathroom was not clean, had to ask for towels. Only stayed one night was supposed to stay three
- 4/5
Clean room. Breakfast staff was really nice.
- 3/5
The room was ok. Towels seemed a little dingy. But overall it was cool. Staff was very friendly and professional. Very helpful.
- 5/5
Room very clean and staff very nice and helpful love this place
- 3/5
Rooms are outdated
- 5/5
The room was perfectly clean and the staff was amazing

- 4/5
Easy fwy access. For the price, it was worth our trip
- 1/5
Not clean
- 3/5
Kind Of Out Dated But Staff Was Amazing
- 3/5
Room was ok. No issues
- 5/5
I almost didn’t book this hotel after reading some reviews about the breakfast. They were so wrong! The breakfast was great! The room was nice and spacious an quiet! I really enjoyed our one night stay here and it was a good location close to the freeway and other stores.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly and the room was. Clean and the breakfast was included and it was good
- 5/5
Good location, friendly staff and clean room
- 4/5
Loved the room
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Coming into the hotel looked a little sketchy. But there was security. And staff was polite.
- 1/5
The reason I chose it was that the hotel has good reviews and I have no idea how people gave that hotel good reviews . Highly not recommending , The area is also not the best , a lot of homeless people and very far from the downtown.
- 3/5
Staff were friendly and the lobby is nice but the actual room was mid. Suspicious stains on the couch and walls. Also the overall area is not safe (for example, there was a homeless person digging around right in front of the drop off area). You can keep your bags behind the front desk, but they don't have a claim ticket and can't guarantee someone won't steal it.
- 3/5
Bathroom need to be update some mold, old. Shower head was bad.
- 5/5
Very nice, breakfast was delicious!
- 2/5
Definitely an upgraded motel 6. Front desk was also an issue..
- 1/5
423) was coming off the wall. They had me move to another room the 2nd night. They made no attempts to composite for everything that went wrong. Service was horrible no one wanted to do anything and blew me off
- 3/5
Great hotel, good for its price. Restroom needs a little update.
- 1/5
The room was unsatisfactory. It was dirty old outdated. The photos that were sent on Expedia are nothing what they show. It was very disappointing. It was as it was a baiting switch on the room from the photos to see in the room physically.
- 5/5
Yes staff was vert kind . And the acomidation room had diabbled accessories. Very clean i would stay there again
- 5/5
It was excellent hotel
- 4/5
I love green tree
- 5/5
Clean room. Tub needed a stopper. Front desk and Brkfst staff excellent. Parking easy and safe.
- 5/5
Clean, great breakfast included, quiet, freeway access and great rates. Cons are the homeless and ruffians in nearby areas take away from being able to walk to food places.
- 4/5
Buffet was great as well as friendly staff
- 3/5
The hotel is beautiful and the bed is comfy, but the area is sketchy and scary. The walls and windows are so thin you heard partying all night long and the neighbors getting it on all night and early morning. Did not sleep at all while staying here.
- 4/5
Hotel itself was good—the area surrounding the hotel is a bit scary: lots of loitering, etc
- 1/5
Very bad terrible dirty hotel!
- 5/5
Bueno
- 5/5

- 5/5
Overall great stay I’d stay here again
- 2/5
Room was dirty. The ceiling had water spots. Smelled like mildew, bed and pillows were very uncomfortable and the bathroom tub was dirty. Staff was not as welcoming. Area was very sketchy and unsafe. Do not recommend this stay at all!!
- 1/5
No early check in, computers were offline when checking in. Terrible check in experience. Will it return unfortunately.
- 3/5
The facility is dated, carpet was not in the greatest shape, the bathroom was not pleasant. passed on taking a bath. caulking was coming off lots of dark around tub the door trim was rotten away. A/C was rattling and loud.
- 3/5
Overall I was satisfied because we were all able to get the rest we needed, though when we arrived the area around the hotel was super ghetto and a lot of party ppl staying there. The hotel was good except for when we entered the room it smelled like sweaty man butt. :( honestly I was so tired we just sprayed some perfume and went to sleep
- 2/5
Breakfast was terrible. Sour milk. Room wasn’t made up with renewed coffee. Old hotel that hasn’t really been redone
- 5/5
Yes the food was good
- 5/5
Was great I've been taking care of completely by green tree
- 1/5
Deferred maintenance. Sheets needed to be replaced & there was no one to do it, so we did it ourselves. We asked for another room but the said that since we booked through a third party (Expedia) I would have to go through them.
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 1/5
The worst ever, unclen and unsafe. There was so many homeless and prostitutes at night. We went for a music gig. We were NOT planning to leave until the morning. But after seeing how unsafe it would be to leave the van loaded with equipment, we ended up leaving at 2am and drove 14 hours home. The night staff sleeping on the job, no security outside and on top of it the refused to refund me back. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AT ALL
- 4/5
Not the best of areas, but also not the worst. Highly convenient location right off of the freeway as well.
- 3/5
Hot tub closed, no breakfast served or housekeeping for Thursday.
- 5/5
Staff took forever checking in people. Busy chatting with customers until one staff next to her also chatted but told the other to hurry cuz line was forming.
- 1/5
Slow slow unfriendly check in cacalace in room ...

- 3/5

- 4/5
Staff was very helpful. Room clean. Breakfast the usual selection, good coffee.
- 3/5
Old and run down.
- 3/5
Staff was great
- 5/5
very kind and friendly staff, clean room and the location was perfect for me.
- 1/5
Just an uncomfortable stay!!!
- 4/5
Everything was fine
- 4/5
Clean and spacious room. Nice staff. Reasonable.
- 3/5
The room was clean, not in the best condition. We worked with D.J. at the desk. She was awesome.
- 3/5
Room was clean but the entire room smelled of cigarette besides there being signs of it being a smoke free hotel. In the bathroom there was mold and there was water damage on the corner of the tub. 1 of the 2 beds was pretty hard but pillows were comfortable. The location of the hotel was near a few homeless encampments. Overall not completely terrible but not great either. It was ok for the price and we only stayed two nights.
- 1/5
Room was dirty. Weird smell. Terrible neighborhood.
- 1/5
Long and slow line
- 5/5
They worked with us to get a upgrade was great
- 4/5
Good room, nice breakfast. The only drawback was the noisy air conditioner that woke us all through the night.
- 5/5
The food was ok
- 3/5
Decent beds. Hot water. Not disgusting or dirty in the room, but not plush. Breakfast smelled nice but we didn't eat there. Great price, was close to the venue I was in town for a concert. Felt safe with 14 year daughter and my 9mm.

- 5/5
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The security guard was extremely friendly and was on top of his job. Front desk staff were nice and helpful. Room was quaint.
- 1/5
Advantage member can join we went to school waste the next day just to get back to our room that night and find out we had no fresh towels because we used them the night before they weren’t even replenished by the staff and our beds were not made in the garbage can was full and never taken out. I went downstairs to let them know how disappointed I was just to be told by a person at the front desk that it was not their job to take my complaint and then it was not their job to do any housekeeping, I thought this was very disappointing because the person at the front desk did not seem to be a team member and did not want to take any responsibility for what was going on. I was very disappointed. Her name was jazzy. I plan to be in the Phoenix area again early next year, and I will not stay at this hotel
- 5/5
Clean, quiet rooms. Provided a microwave and refrigerator wish was very helpful
- 5/5
Room and stay was great. Nice and clean and served our purpose well.
- 4/5
The room was clean and rhe staff was nixe
- 5/5
Nice hotel with great breakfast
- 5/5
Staff was so nice and felt safe. Stuff they can't control like homeless but even they were nice and kept to themselves so I have stay a few tjmes here and will come again. Thanks
- 5/5
Yes everything was excellent
- 1/5
I didn’t even stay until breakfast. I checked in around 5 and ended up leaving the room to sleep in my truck around 9-10pm. I have already reached out to customer support. This is my second horrible stay in Arizona and the second time I had to just leave early and sleep in my truck
- 3/5
The property is located in a run-down area. There are numerous unsheltered individuals present on and around the property. However, I felt safe inside; the lobby was well-furnished and inviting. The staff promptly greeted me. They were friendly and accommodating. My room was on the second floor. The room was spacious and mostly clean. The shower had excellent water pressure and an ample supply of hot water. The tub had some mold in the caulk and a stray hair on the wall from a previous guest. The mattress was very soft; I prefer a firmer one. The A/C is very loud. It woke me up every time it turned on. The ceiling was full of patches from leaks. Breakfast was okay. I tried to lie down for a bit after breakfast; however, a child was running back and forth, stomping on the floor above us. The walls and windows are not soundproof. I could hear traffic noise and people in the rooms around mine. I only stayed one night, and it sufficed.
- 4/5
The rooms are clean it has a nice balcony and we were comfortable. The staff was very nice and friendly. Parking wasn’t a problem but there were a lot of homeless wondering the parking lot after dark.
- 5/5
Muy cómodo y buen lugar
- 5/5
Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was just ok. Need more of a meat variety.
- 5/5
Yes
- 4/5
There was a small blood stain on the sheets that I did not see until the next day and asked to have them changed. The TV is very small. The breakfast only had meat one day we were there, which was a soggy flavorless paddy sausage. The best part of this hotel was the staff. Very friendly and courteous.
- 4/5
Beds are comfortable with large rooms. Not the best area around the hotel but one night stay went smoothly. Food walking distance from hotel.
- 4/5
Missed daily room housekeeping. Lack of TV channels was huge disappointment.
- 5/5
Great service.
- 3/5
The hotel was very quiet and the breakfast was ok for a continental breakfast. The hotel was old but well kept. The shower was very old and could be refurbished.
- 5/5
Large rooms, nice open area in center of the hotel
- 3/5
Not terribly updated but the staff was very nice.
- 5/5
Yes we everything was great
- 3/5
Room was not cleaned well and towels /sheets had a sour smell.
- 5/5
Love it !
- 5/5
Front desk staff were friendly and professional. The premises were clean and tidy, as was our room.
- 4/5
Outside of TV problems the stay was nice. First TV didn't work had to change rooms. Not enough choices on TV, no premium channels! Only other problem was the transient issue, area needs to be cleaned up.
- 4/5
The room was good for the price. We had to ssk for wash cloths we only got 1 when the room was cleaned. We didnt use the pool it looked dirty. The breakfast was beter then most contenetals. Most of the staff were friendly and helpfull. Location was good and security was visible.
- 5/5
..
- 5/5
Muy agradecido x todo facil de usar
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 3/5
Animal smell in rooms!
- 4/5
The pool water was very cold and we didn’t stay in longer than a few minutes. No access to bathrooms in pool area. Staff was very friendly, helpful and check in was quick. Would stay here again.
- 2/5
Ratty hotel
- 3/5
Basically, a truckers hotel. Property is very dated, needs an upgrade in all areas. Carpet in rooms is stained, mold on shower curtains. Not a good place for a single female. Staff was wonderful, personable and attentive! Breakfast in the morning was good - basics. Property is off the freeway/sideroad - very noisy with traffic/trucks pulling in.
- 5/5
Very clean, good representation. Plenty of places to dining
- 1/5
I dont know what is going on with Expedia but this is the third hotel that had supposedly good ratings and great photos but the staff was rude snooty and the property is disgusting as well as not honest description of are and property. The city is sold out so I cant do anything.
- 3/5
Open air drug use at store right across. Stray cats living in the pool area. Room was decent enough, staff was okay. Breakfast was mediocre at best. For the price it’s not the worst I’ve seen, do not recommend going out on foot at night.
- 1/5
Just rude customer service
- 2/5
I didn’t like it that when we checked in, I had to go back down stairs, since our room was on the 3rd floor, to get the card key recharged, every time we would leave the room we would have to go and have the card key recharge, they were having so many problems with it, even the maids had problems
- 4/5
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
Everything was great, swimming pool was a bit cold temp was over 100 degrees and water was cold to wear we couldn’t swim long
- 5/5
Even though the neighborhood ain’t great but the hotel is nice and clean
- 4/5
The breakfast is free so can’t complain about the quality too much. Microwave didn’t work well cuz it didn’t spin so my frozen meal was wasted but other than that it has been a good stay both times I went for a funeral.
- 4/5
Front desk was nice
- 4/5
The room was great and clean. Unfortunately, the people next door had their TV running till 2am which woke me up repeatedly.
- 3/5
The breakfast is just waffles, eggs and biscuit and gravy. It wasn’t very good.
- 5/5
GOOD CONDITION
- 4/5
I've stayed here several times for work. Clean and friendly staff and the price is right. I'd recommend.

- 5/5
Modest room, good staff, more places to get food
- 4/5

- 5/5
Nice
- 3/5
This place was ok . At least our bed was descent . They said I had to call for early check-in. The lady on the phone said we could check in after 12 when we arrived. The lady seemed pretty rude and said we were not able to check in till 3 PM. We went back at two and she was checking several people in and it was the same lady who said we could not check in early. she did give us a handicap room which we did not need. I feel like it was done on purpose. The area is a lot of homeless or strays and we saw some strange people, I wouldn’t say it’s the safest area at nightbut our stay was what we needed it for to sleep and nothing else the rate was decent and that’s what mattered for us at the time.
- 4/5
Price good nice place to stay
- 4/5
Great room and very friendly staff. AC was incredibly loud though.
- 1/5
Not a nice area , food was horrible will never stay here again
- 5/5
My husband and I stayed here for 2 days while we were in Phoenix. We checked around for a hotel that had room for us to park our truck. This hotel ONLY has room for bobtails to park, which we were bobtailing. The room and hotel seemed clean. It was very quite. It had a small refrigerator in the room. The bed was comfortable as well as the pillows. There appeared to be balconies on all the rooms. There were several places to walk to to get something to eat and a small grocery store very nearby. We would stay there again
- 5/5
Bhu
- 5/5
Very good
- 4/5
The rooms are clean the staff are kinda friendly. The main issues are the area has a lot of homeless and drug addicts. The room ac made a loud noise in the suite I stayed and the refrigerator wasn’t working. The carpet and furniture look really old and stained. But overall decent place to stay.
- 5/5
The size of the room was nice and it was clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. Will definitely stay there again.
- 3/5
Located in not the the best area.
- 5/5
I loved how clean it was and how friendly staff was as well.
- 5/5
Front desk girl was pretty rude and even though they said housekeeping every three days we got a hard knock on the first morning of our stay
- 5/5
Staff great ..attentiveness to detail..overnight girl outstanding beautiful and caring
- 3/5
Nothing special, a few homeless around the property. Not a bad experience. Lots of sirens through the night and day
- 4/5
Excellent stafff..Overnight front Desk ...Native woman....excellcent customer care and attention to detail....give her a bonus
- 5/5

- 5/5
Good applis
- 5/5
Staff always top notch ...friendly
- 5/5
Nice hotel - better than others in the same block
- 1/5
When I arrived that 2 ladies checking me in were great. I stayed at this hotel for 2 night. Once I arrived in my room, I took advantage of the room service. Estimate delivery time was 45-60 mins. 2 hours later someone finally showed up with the food. (And no the hotel wasnt busy) they forgot my soda, and the food wasnt the best. Wake up Sunday Morning around 3:30am, go downstairs to my Truck, my Semi Truck to be exact to find out someone had broken into my vehicle, scattered the window, ripped my dash out and stole the main computer that operates my Semi. I go back into the hotel to ask the ladt the front desk if they have cameras and told her what happen. She didnt seem surprised at all, like this is a common thing. She said only the general manager has access to the cameras. She never offered me his number or name. I asked her do you happen to have any coffee ready, which she with shaking her head no. I mean come on, you can atlease get me some coffee after your security guard wasnt doing his job outside watching people vehicles but instead he was sitting inside the hotel. I will NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. This repair after having my vehicle towed, new window, new computer module has cost me $12,000. The workers definitely dont care and most definitely wont help.
- 5/5
3rd shift front dest extremly helpful..all staff exceptional..General Manager very professional and accomodating
- 4/5
I had a few issues but it's not a bad property they did give me someone else room & that wasn't pleasant I was exhausted & had to Walk down with my baby & all of my bags to get a new room! They should have offered a free room for the inconvenience...
- 1/5
All
- 3/5
My room was still a little dirty, specifically the bathroom. Took forever to get checked in as well.
- 5/5
Better than most for same price
- 4/5
The staffing team were very professional
- 4/5
It was a sufficient stay , we had a good time
- 5/5
It was great but there were not enough outlets. The room was old.
- 3/5
The breakfast didn't have a large variety of options. The shower had good water pressure. The bed was comfortable. It was advertised to be a smoke free hotel and that people who wanted to smoke needed to do it a farther distance from the hotel but unfortunately people were smoking directly outside of the hotel and the smell permeated the surrounding area.
- 4/5
Ladies in front desk are rude they don't even look at you , housekeeper are amazing and always smiling.
- 4/5
Front desk staff was great and overall the Hotel was quite comfortable and nice. We did have two problems one being that the bathtub didn’t drain but that’s not the end of the world. The second was an issue with ordering from the kitchen where the man who took our order was not the most personable and then there was an incident in the kitchen, so our food never got made and they also never called to inform us that it would not be getting made. Aside from that it was pretty good. I’d stay here again.
- 4/5
Excellent customer service and care from the hotel staff
- 5/5
Good stay. Good room. Nice hotel. Good breakfast.
- 5/5
Nice staff and clean rooms
- 3/5
Homeless hangouts near, maids Cannot speak English (maybe one) out of 6. One elevator 4 floors.
- 5/5
Feels like home away from home.
- 3/5
The front desk agent had no energy, she did not provide details of breakfast or amenities at the front desk. A few outlets did not work. The shower is terrible - it was either boiling hot water or freezing cold, no in between. Pillows are absolutely flat. Walls are thin as you could clearly hear neighbors conversation.
- 5/5
Very nice people
- 1/5
Did not take card that was needed for stay.
- 2/5
Very bad..
- 3/5
Quiet. Very calm. Didn’t like that there was no where to fill my water tho only ice machine. If you want water you have to buy one from the vending machine (Dasani) Also lady in the front didn’t seem welcoming at all.
- 5/5
Great place to stay for the night. Great staff comfy beds quiet.
- 5/5
Very confy
- 1/5
Location is old, out dated and dirty from lobby to the room. Thankfully it was one night but will not recommend.
- 5/5
Cofee-Maker in my room was not working. I will DEFINITELY recommend this Hotel to the Travellers, regardless of purposes of their trips!
- 5/5
Absolutely great experience. From check in to check out staff were pleasant and professional. Fresh breakfast in the morning. Would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Me and my family had a great experience stating in greentree hotel.
- 5/5
The property is older- I would guess it was built in the late 80's or early 90's, based on the fixtures- but the upkeep has been very effective, so that didn't take away from my experience. If you're expecting modern chic, I recommend looking elsewhere; I really enjoyed the "vintage luxury" vibes. Staff were also excellent- everywhere you look, there is a sincere effort to satisfy guests. The breakfast was good, but some of the other guests were very rude; still, this can happen anywhere, so you really can't blame the hotel itself. The pool and fitness areas were very fun and well-kept, but the pool is not heated, so it would take 100-degree temperatures to justify a dip; also, the hot tub is in desperate need of a resurface. The location was a little sketchy, and we frequently observed homeless people in the parking lot; however, hotel staff seemed very adept at keeping them out of the building itself. Again, this was a very enjoyable stay, and I do recommend it, but there are some major eccentricities that you should consider before booking.
- 5/5
Seems like on weekends getting a late checkout past 12pm is costly ...$35.....during the week not a problem..kinda shadey
- 5/5
The cleaning crew is what makes this place so great. I’ve been to this hotel over 10 times and 9/10 this place is spotless with a clean scent to the room. The only negative experience was because the ac didn’t work but not su much about cleanliness. The building is a bit old but still looks good overall. The front staff are good, not super friendly but good enough. The male manager there does a great work. The suites need a bit of renovation but overall a great experience.
- 4/5
Customer service was great. The hotel rooms were outdated, pillows are flat, the pool was cold.
- 5/5
Great Breakfast
- 5/5
Prices were good and fair rooms were clean and staff was helpful and friendly
- 5/5
The stay was great but the hot tub was not working, water was not heating up
- 3/5
Expected the property’s conditions to be better.
- 5/5
Easy to find. Good filling breakfast.
- 4/5
Good and clean place to stay
- 5/5
Front Desk staff Especially the Overnight Desk clerk..Forgot her name but extremly helpful....Continental breakfast staff ..feels like home
- 5/5
So far Green Tree has yet to disappoint. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Evening staff is always very nice and friendly.
- 1/5
Not very clean.
- 4/5
Great front desk service good price close to the freeway
- 5/5
Great customer service!
- 5/5
Clean and friendly staff
- 3/5
bathroom was not cleaned right the tile in the bathroom was falling apart and the tub felt disgusting like sand on my feet dirt on borders and walls and definitely did not walk around with out shoes
- 4/5
The carpet is very dirty—you can clearly see the dust with the naked eye. As for the breakfast, the potatoes were not crispy and tasted old. I expected better quality based on the reviews. Lastly, the bathroom also appears quite old and worn.
- 5/5
The area isn’t so lovely but the inside makes it better
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Everything perfect
- 3/5
Average hotel. Nothing too crazy. Staff was friendly. Main problem; one elevator and NO accessible stairs. 3 floors of rooms. Just a pain in the ***. One night is doable. Better than most in the area.
