The manager was so rude and disrespectful without a doubt she was prejudice and she discriminated against my girlfriend and myself my girlfriend is a 58 year old Latina female that walks with a cane do to her suffering from severe rheumatoid arthritis . The manager which is the older lady with gray hair and wears glasses ,She was rude he told me and my girlfriend to get out the office before she calls the police because an employee at the 7-Eleven. SmH harassment,prejudice, cold-hearted, racist employees at the EZ 8 motel by Airport .. I wouldn't go there if I was you it's not worth it to wake up and have some fabricated a reason to kick someone out in the heat and not rent to a woman that is very sick with severe rheumatoid arthritisand and a boyfriend that works to make sure that she gets good sleep at night and taking care of from not being on the streets .

It was dirty, the shower and toilet leaked all night. There was a thin throw blanket only. The towels - tiny and thin. The carpet was filthy. I called 30 minutes out, and she decided to take a hour break after the call and wasn’t there.

It is the most dirtyness motel i ever ben in. Everything in room was dirty , stains on the bed. Dirty towels.. nothing was clean. Roaches everywhere.. homeless people everywhere

The trucker side is very quiet. It's kept free of lot lizards by 24 security. The management is very helpful and attentive.

Nothing! I booked a room for my handicapped son & his friend but because she lost her wallet and had no ID , You refused to let them stay- YET YOU CHARGED ME $84.60! 10 minutes from the airport. The first room I was given was infested with German roaches, reeked of cigarette smoke and was pretty filthy. After complaining about the pest problem I was given another room which was roach free but still not very clean.

I didn’t like the overall condition of the hotel. I would have checked out minutes after I checked them, but I was too exhausted after driving 700+ miles for my company.

We didnt have a choice

The value, the price. We have been to this hotel many times before. The check in was easy as was checkout. The staff was extremely polite. It was quiet. We will stay again soon probably. It's worth exactly or a little more than what we paid. It's a great value! The price, absolutely makes it a 10. Room had issues but like I said above we've been to the hotel before and didn't even mention the issues to staff because we found them tolerable. No bugs.

The hotel is completely run down and outdated. There were bugs. There were a lot of undesirable people through the property who appeared to not be associated with any of the rooms. No map or directions given. A 15 min policy for a refund. Took 15 minutes to find the room and was not able to get a refund. This should not be a hotel advertised on Hotel.com

The lady was very rude my family had no where to stay so I paid for them to stay there and after a few days they said they weren’t allowed to stay there due to only affording a one bed but the excuse was max people but the other two were kids it was only two adults two kids if not evicted but they were written on the list and then treated my grandma ride rooms were nasty roaches I get it the place is cheap but you could atleast clean up my family said there were drugs and prostitution at night….

For the money, this place is a great deal. In fact, I am booking it again for tonight, as I make my turnaround from Los Angeles back to Houston.

Loved it very clean and friendly staff, security is a plus i didnt have to worry about my vehicle know there are larping homeless people around the facility the overall place is alot better than other run down hotels this may not be the holiday inn but it sure is an upgrade to the Westside hotels . This was worse than "you get what you pay for'! Unsafe and in complete disrepair. Needed one night close to the airport to sleep for 6 hours before an early flight. Would have been better sleeping on the airport floor. The girl who checked us in was nice.

This property is very old and out dated. The area is really sketch. However, the room has a dead bolt and was very clean, which are the only reasons we stayed. Cudos to the efficient, kind staff.

Check in process was terrible and took way too long. I would never stay there again. The bathroom had a new toilet, but the rest the room with the shower and tub was in bad shape, including damage to the inside of the door. The toilet seat was not secured properly and the bowl was not fully bolted down. The TV was a very old heavy analog unit. One somewhat giod thing - the bed was actually comfortable and clean. It was, at best, a $40 room and we paid twice that amount. Avoid it.

People need to do more research on these hotels they look nice on pictures it has a 3 star review. It was cleaned but like I said they need to restore it inside and out.

But it is located under the approach and take-off for Sky Harbor. Lots of jet noise. Rooms have no amenities. Carpet worn with rips and holes. Electric sockets are so worn plugs just fall out. No in-room coffee, no conditioner, no hair dryer. Bed mattresses are old and worn out. Most uncomfortable night's sleep I have ever had. It has a lot of potential, but falls way short!

This was not just “a little dirty.” This was a legitimate health and safety concern. After the stay, I looked at the Google reviews and saw numerous similar complaints. I truly wish I had checked beforehand. I have stayed with this hotel chain before and it is usually reliable, which makes this location especially disappointing. I attempted to resolve this through Hotels.com and was refused a refund despite documenting the issues. I did attempt to call down to the desk multiple times no response. Eve hotels.com could not reach this hotel and had to send emails Travelers: please read reviews carefully before booking. I would not stay here again under any circumstances.

Staff was courteous and friendly but the room needs major upgrades. Sink rusted through on the front edge, carpet did not appear clean and needs to be replaced. Furniture in room very worn and marked up, walls need paint, need to replace mattress.

The hotel room was spacious and clean. We were able to get a good sleep. This motel is as aesthetic as some places but it's completely functional and we got what we needed to get done in Phoenix with great comfort.

My friend that I was staying with didn’t have I’d. they would not refund. I stayed alone. Some creepy dude called my room 600 times and knocked on the door 47. I tried to call the office they wouldn’t answer. Was too scared to go outside. It was about 3-5am this was happening. Had to unplug phone. Got no sleep. Terrible experience. Paid for insurance cancellation protection through Travelocity, but since I made room payment to hotel directly, they said no refund would be issued. So now I’m out 90 bucks and I stayed alone and it was a terrible scary experience.

The maid was kind and finished making the second bed, but we ended up four washcloths short (no washcloths) because she never got back to give them to us. the front door wasn't a tight seal and the about "window" opening had a plywood "slide" in it - weakening room security... needs improvement.

It was centrally located to the airport & conference which was really convenient . The room tidy & clean, the shower was hot, the adjacent rooms were quiet neighbors. I have stayed in "fancier" hotels certainly but if you need a place to stay at night, you will be happy with this hotel.

It was a nice Value hotel. the exterior was rather shoddy, but the room was clean and comfortable. Both the pool and hot tub were open and functional which was a huge surprise. typically at these low budget hotels they advertise a pool and/or hot tub but when you get there they're "closed for repair". Check was quick and easy and the staff were pleasant AMERICANS that I could actually understand and communicate with. My only complaint would be that they charged for WiFi access, but for my stay it wasn't a big deal. i just needed a bed and a shower which they provided at a great price.

We were told that we "owned" the room for longer than 15 minutes so our money was non refundable.

It was ok, no noisy people, staff were wonderful. It rained and it was leaking outside the rooms (I had a room in the second floor) but that was it. Homeless people were around but not directly at the property. AC unit worked fine, clean towels, clean and comfy beds, there was a medium size fridge. Loved it

And the mattress was the worst. So dirty it did gross me out. I did not felt comfortable staying in that hotel. I did ask for refund, but for half of what I payed. Staff was nice.

The girl that checked us in seemed a little stressed and not real sure what she was doing and several people had to come back and have their keys redone because they couldn't get in the room and I was one of them. The guy who took care of the checkout in the morning so they were working on remodeling and really cleaning up and changing cuz I asked about a couple things but the mattress was good I checked for bed bugs and they were cool with that they were none so I'll give them credit for trying

The check-in was very easy. The condition of the outside of the motel is horrific. Torn carpets in the walkways leading to the rooms, dirty, etc. However, the inside of the room was fine, and it had a fridge and tv. All this being said, if you don't need to stay long and you are really pinching pennies, this is ok.

I hate to leave a review like this because the room wasn’t terrible but was still not good. Check in was horrible. They took about 20-30 minutes checking in one guest each time. Room was alright but the bathroom was questionable. The outlet would turn off the light if you plugged anything in. Ac and fridge worked.

The room was clean, but they are also a bit run down, but I think that based on the price is kind of expected. What I didn't like was the condition of the flooring on the upper halls. It is like a patch work between old dirty carpet and no carpet at all. Perhaps they plan on remodeling?

When arrived I was forced to an upgrade that I had to pay for. A friend had said they did the same to him. When arriving into the room there was literately strands of hair all over the pillow as if the pillow cases and sheets were already used and not washed. The carpet was turning our feet black, and the whole room and bathroom reeked of mold. Im more mad because i was forced this upgrade and HAD to pay for it only to walk into a horrible room. I DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE.

This was business, The room is low quality, but its cheap and the positive i can say is two things. McDonalds is in the parking area, and to return to Sky Harbour airport it was a positive as its only 7 minutes and low traffic

The room was clean.The water was working fine. And the dish cable was fine for viewing. Pool and jacuzzi looked very nice and inviting.

The room could use an update. Old wall coverings falling off in many areas. The door had a larger than normal gap at the top and bottom of door. Carpet seems super old.

Very rude management making false accusations to throw innocent people out of their rooms out in the cold. Don’t even think about staying at this complete dump that should been demolish long time ago. For I just had the driver of the uber to help with my luggage and this man who does not show his face do to he wears a mask over his face all the time made up this story that I had unregistered guest in the room which was the uber driver helping with luggage out to car on my way to airport. Which is totally mess up

While i was there. They're were bugs in my room. A bathtub that wouldnt stop running. Bugs, stiff mattress. Tweakers all around, and security escorting people screaming people, who slamming walls, out ot there room to return theyre key and let him just scream and romp the premise. I left after an hour of being there

took us an hour to stand outside in the cold and check in. the staff was unfriendly and rude. the hallways all had ripped up flooring. the rooms smelled wet and mildewed. even with the cheaper rate it was unsatisfactory in all aspects.

We only used it to sleep before we got on the road. It was clean. Need to add better lighting in meat pool area. TV & TV connection needs to be updated. Curtains are outdated.

The staff member Kenny was absolutely awesome. Helping me get checked in and allowing me to store my bicycle box until I got in my room. I think the staff very much for an enjoyable stay.

The stay was so-so, I don't know that I'd go there again. Two separate Ubers told me to be careful because the area was dangerous. It is a low SES area and you could tell some people check out and camp outside. People were loitering outside like it was nothing. Some had big dogs and it just felt intimidating even going outside. There is a McDonalds at pretty short walking distance but it felt unsafe even walking towards it. No wifi, got to pay $6/day from a different vendor. The sheets were very uncomfortable, gave me the impression they were super old. The first night I remember I slept on all of my clothes. It was pretty cheap, so you get what you pay for. It was supper close to the airport and maybe a 10 min drive to downtown. Accessible by Waymo as well so that was a plus. Don't know if its an Arizona thing, but they have some sort of rule that if you bring in an unregistered guest to your room they can kick you out without reimbursement. Despite my experience I did get my good night of sleep and it served its purpose. I found that the staff was nice and helpful.I just felt like there isn't much they can do about the area itself.

The staff was very nice and attentive. The only problem I have is my two vehicles were parked literally in front of the office doors and still my one of my trucks had a theft attempt on it so I was forced to stay up all night to watch my own property. You would figure with the security and the threat of police cooperation that it would have been handled instead completely ignored.

This will be a factual review so that the property cannot say "Lies, Lies, Lies." We arrived around 11:00 p.m. on 3/10/25. It is not a great neighborhood. The office was locked, so I interacted with the front desk person through a pass-through window. She required ID's of every adult in the room. Our room was on the 2nd floor of the north building, facing the pool. The upstairs outdoor walkways had stained and badly torn outdoor carpet everywhere we walked. The outdoor ceilings are sagging. The room was outdated. The gap at the bottom of the entry door was large enough for a rodent to enter, but we did not see any. The room was missing all of its baseboard, except in the bathroom, where the tile floor trim was in poor condition. A gecko appeared once and then disappeared behind the base of the door trim. We did not see any insects. We did smell marijuana in our bathroom at one point, and I do not know from where it entered. Someone else's hair was in the corners of the bathroom floor. The bathtub/shower caulk was old and very discolored. The shower water pressure was excellent. There was graffiti on the bathroom door trim, the bathroom door wall stop, the top of the television, and a wall sconce. A nearby room door was missing its entire door handle/lock - at night, the light was on, door ajar, and the smell of marijuana was coming out. Our smoke detector was out of battery and not working. We let them know. The phone did not work. We won't stay here again, nor recommend it.

As great as usual

This place had garbage strewn all about the yard space. We walked past an actual pool of blood to get to our room! The carpets on the walkways were destroyed, our luggage got caught ans its a trip hazzard. We arrived very late at night, and I didnt appreciate the staff announcing our room as 2 single women, in a lobby full of other guests/individuals I didnt want to have that info shared with. Room had a very old tv that didn't woek properly, had lines all thru it and shut off on its own. No mini fridge or table/chairs to eat at in the room. No stopper in the sink so earrings/rings would be hopelessly lost if dropped. If we hadnt arrived late in the evening after a long flight we wouldn't have even stayed! The next morning we were up and out of there.

Everything was good

The airplanes coming overhead every 10 minutes made sleeping hard. The carpet in our room and holes in ceilings need fixed. No hairdryer to use and no door on bathroom. Water was also not hot for shower for my handicap husband.

Check in was not pleasant. The room reeked of cigarettes and meth, literally. There were burns in the carpet and the sheets had little tears in them. Everything felt dingy. Pretty crazy considering I paid the same prices as other motels that are much nicer. Will never stay here again.

The staff were great. The hotel appears to be undergoing Reno’s in some rooms. The outside grounds were very litter filled. Our room had one of the worst beds ever, pads and bedding were dirty. The tub and sink were SEVERELY rusted. They did bring us a different mattress which was marginally better and never brought us our new bedding and an extra pillow. Will never go back.

After our first night I asked to get our money back for the remaining days we booked, and check out. Our room was essentially inhabitable. They said no refund for our remaining nights booked, and didn’t care one bit about it. Don’t stay here! Spend some extra money and get some sleep.

Close to Chase Field.

Someone tried to break into my room while I was sleeping. It felt like I was paying to stay at a homeless encampment.

Place was old and dingy. Not the cleanest place.

It is right near the highway so that was a perk. A lot of construction due to expansion of the parking lot. Very old, smelly, and unmaintained

The room was ok, if absolutely minimal. The carpets were stained. Outdoor walkways dirty and carpets virtually destroyed! Sorry, but I won’t stay again.

Hard to find check in window, construction barriers around premises, exterior carpeting torn and ugly, no wifi. Low cost, near the airport were the attraction.

When we went to check in because of all the construction going on it was a pain to get to the lobby. The bed was lumpy and the box spring felt broken. Not a place I will go to again.

Friendly staff. Close to airport. McDonald’s very close by. Rooms need updating. Something’s need repair- ie. Hold in wall, buttons on air conditioner pushed in, tiles in bathroom floor needs caulk. Upstairs carpet on balcony needs replacing
