It was great the hotel is next to the train that takes you to downtown Denver. It made our trip so much better.

The property was cleaned inside the lobby it smell clean, the weather was kinda weird hot and windy with some debris flying around from plants and trash from nearby buildings but for the most part the facility was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful with questions that I had.

This is one of my favorites. Always a good experience and makes getting to the airport so convenient.

Front desk explained in detail how to return our rental car to the airport and return via sky train. She took the time to make sure we understood where we were going and helped us calm down and feel confident. I really appreciate the time she took to explain the process!

Terrible hotel…old, dirty and staff seemed like it really didn’t want to be there especially the bartender who had to place an order for my 9:30pm wings and soggy fries.

The place was clean, the staff was pleasant and helpful. The location made it easy access to the airport. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Phoenix.

Unfortunately we are not able to use the pool due to Mama duck decided to have her babies in it. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Great, quiet place to stay, especially if you have an early flight. It is very conveniently located next to the sky train that takes you directly to your sky harbor terminal! Will definitely be back!

Found myself stuck in Phoenix overnight due to a delayed flight. Looked up nearest hotels and came across this gem. Convenient shuttle service every half hour, excellent room rate, friendly bar staff for that late night cocktail, and comfortable room. Highly recommend.

The quality of the furniture and the integrity was poor very uncomfortable.But I may do with what I had.I wasn't able to get a refund because my money was already locked up.In that room and I would not be able to get my credit card credit.Immediately if I was to leave and go to another hotel, so I had to stay and finish up my stay there. I had complimentary breakfast and I asked for more toast. I paid for my toast $3.26 but at the time of checkout. There was also an additional charge on my room for $92 worth of food for the same day in which I did not Order or eat?. So I contacted and asked about it, and I have not yet been credited. The amount of wrong charges yet, so I hope it is taken care of soon.. Let's just say this is one hotel I will never stay at again I stay far away from it until they make many improvements. The rooms also smell old . The pool area. Furniture was dirty and ripped furniture. Cushions. also had ducks that had taken over the swimming pool. So I did not get to enjoy the pool. Also, the hot tub was no bigger than a small closet and looked dirty. So I did not attempt to try to enjoy the hot tub as well. The whole area was not clean and dirt. Everywhere, very poorly maintained.

The food at the restaurant was delicious.. I had the Cuban sandwich and it was just as delicious, if not better than sandwiches I'd just had in Sedona!

The front desk girl was so kind! She has just graduated from college the day before and I loved her vibe. So helpful! Great pool area too!

AC Unit loud as anything. A bit outdated rooms, a few stains in the beds.

The business center was not operational, with no paper in the printer and no toner. Asking the front desk staff to print the forms we needed for a meeting the following morning was treated like a huge inconvenience. We stayed at the hotel because of the business center advertised on the website.

The dark heavy wooden furnitures , dark carpet, dark bathroom, these could be modernized.🤗

Sadly, parking is $14.95 a day, because of it's close location of Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport I will surely stay again.

Expected more from a crowne plaza. Lobby is nice. Rooms are normal but a little aged.. A/C unit was obnoxiously loud. Surprised by the additional parking fee. All in all not impresed. Will not be staying here again.

The ladies at the front desk were amazing! Morning and night shift. The added shuttle service was great as well as proximity to sky train into the airport. My only concern is that with all the money they make, they have failed to upgrade the property. The rugs are old and dirty and the rooms can use some paint and deep cleaning and modern fixtures.

Location, unfortunately the airport area has become sketchy in the past decade. It felt unsafe at times.

The restaurant and bar were having some sort of difficulty resulting in no customers getting their orders for upwards of 45 min- 1.5 hours. The staff and customers alike were struggling.

Location to the airport doesn't get any better. Walk across the street, jump on the tram and you're at your terminal.

This is a decent hotel with the ambience of a Holiday Inn Express not a Crowne Plaza! The lobby is much less elegant than shown in the pictures. There is a very small bar. Overall, this is not a very classy place and I wouldn't stay there again.

The airport shuttle was offered every 30 minutes on the half hour. This would have been great. Then the front desk person told us about the sky tram across the street. These run every 5 minutes or so and drop off at airport terminals. A bit to cross the street if you have a lot of luggage but if not, super convenient.

My room Had a yellow ring around the bathtub. I was so disappointed. We arrived after midnight and it was too late to change rooms. I canceled reservations and checked out as soon as I could.

Hallways were dingy and horribly under lit. Room carpet was torn and well worn out. Bathroom fan was super loud and the bath drain was broken.

Amazing stay beds could be more comfortable

The staff at the bar were great, however the hotel itself needs a lot of work! I was expecting an updated nice hotel for the amount I paid! I would not stay here again, there are other hotels that are nicer and updated.

The only issue I think needs addressing is the lack of free coffee in the lobby

I killed at least 6 cockroaches in my room. So gross!

Overall the property itself and the rooms were nice...nothing fantastic. I would have rated this place higher except for the staff. I went down to the desk to ask a question and even with a line forming behind me, two receptionists ignored the line to keep answering the phone and help one guest at the register. Wouldn't even look our way or acknowledge us. I understand being busy but they either need to staff more people or provide better training on how to handle busy situations. It does not take 2 people to help one guest. I did like that this property was close to the airport and the skyway line so that made it super easy for returning our rental car. They also provide a shuttle to and from the airport which was very helpful.

Pillos were awesome, area was safe and conveinient to all. My wife and I liked the fact that this hotel was next to the airport and the air train, as it was a stop over for part of a larger trip. Aisha was very welcoming and helpfel. Great customer service was provided by her.

We had a 9 hour layover so we did not spend much time at the hotel. They were very helpful in explaining over the phone where to go for the shuttle from the airport to the Hotel. Room was very nice, bed and bedding super comfortable. We hoped on the Shuttle back to the airport at 5:30am so did not have breakfast.

We loved our stay here. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and breakfast was delicious! I love that the lobby has lawn games and a foosball table, and that you need a room key to access the elevators. Parking is an extra expense, but it’s cheap and worth it to park in the garage.

The rooms were clean, but the toilet and tub were slow to drain. When reported to the front desk, they had someone out within 15 minutes to address the problem. The slow drain in the tub was resolved, but the toilet was still slow.

Hotel lobby is the best thing there, the halls are dark & feel dirty. Rooms were good, nothing special. 2 restaurants are a bit misleading. A bar with food service, limited seating. & a breakfast ( which was still closed due to early flight) Pretty expensive but it is expected since it’s Phoenix & next to hotel.

We enjoyed our stay. The Lobby area has a casual friendly vibe. The restaurant area was busy, and engaging. We had a light dinner and wady conversation with our neighbors. It made for a relaxing and enjoyable evening.

Nice, spacious clean room. Onsite restaurant for dinner was just ok, breakfast restaurant was good. There's a shuttle to the airport that runs every half hour, so very convenient for flying out of Phoenix airport. Onsite fitness center and pool were nice amenities.

Front desk staff was nice and the location was convenient, but the hotel could do some updating. No one ever responded to our hotel communication text messages or answered the phone. The artificial smell that they piped into the main areas was pretty strong.

The front entrance was dark and looked like it was under construction....parking lot torn up....we stayed here 2 years ago and it looked the same. The only reason we stayed here again was its proximity to the sky train. We will not stay here again.

I appreciated the hotel's location. While it's not attached to the airport it's literally a 5 minute walk via sky bridge to the air train and the light rail stop is right there. The room was clean and updated decor but the bathroom a little dated. Staff was polite.

Sheets with no stains

At Near $200 per night price point, this hotel was in severe need of repair and updating everywhere. pretty bad actually and disappointing. poorly managed on the capital expenditure list for much needed updates to the property. felt dark, dirty and old building. Staff was generally friendly. Bed sheets were soiled with general stuff everyone knows about, we asked for new sheets and took the staff awhile to figure it out-didn't speak english was most of the problem there. The lighting is horrible everywhere-why is everyone going to white lights? in the 5000K realm? so gross-i think designers are pushing this for whatever reason. We want soft lighting 3000K and more of it-i don't want to strain my eyes to read signs or feel like i am in a dark unsafe ally! carpets need replaced, furniture-replaced and updated style-i could go on but basically everything is just old. the pool cushions-all of them were ripped? seriously they can't see that? Breakfast at Post restaurant was actually good, but the place was dirty so that offset the decent food and made you wonder too if the kitchen was actually clean-which we all know it is not-obvious from the grease trail on the carpet from staff going in and out of the kitchen-gross. Overall, the place just needs updating-alot of it for me to think of staying again-especially at that price point.

The coffee maker wasn’t working.

Courteous staff, fruit and cucumber water in the lobby, breakfast selections, location near the zoo, botanical gardens and a museum, free shuttle to and from the airport. The things we did not like: toilet and tub drain we not draining properly. When they brought someone to repair, there was a language barrier and it did not get resolved. We also found a bogus charge to our room, but the front desk resolved that nicely.

Room was a little outdated and we found several hairs on the bed upon arrival. Sparks were coming out of the outlet next to the TV (this was reported to the front desk).

Staff are very helpful. Location next to the airport and the included shuttle service and ability to leave your car at the hotel is excellent! Small bar at the back means you don't have to wander around Phoenix if you want a late evening brew!

Great location if you want to be very close to PHX Int’l. Shuttle to the airport runs 24 hours on the half hour. Tip: go down 10 mins early as it gets filled quickly. Happy hour available. Rooms are a bit dated but very clean. Good front desk service.

Everything was nice except for the mattress seem to be a little worn. Hotel is not in a very good location for restaurants. Went across the street to Panera and if you don’t have a car, you can’t have any food because their dining room is closed permanently, so it’s a drive-through only.

$200.00 deposit and held it for a week. Had to call and ask for it to be released. Hotel old and run down. $4.00 for a small cup of coffee with no refill and no regular creamer. There are plenty of other options in the area to stay here

The hallways and rooms are very dark. The fan in room is very loud. Restaurant was out of many things. Staff was friendly and efficient.

We booked this hotel as our last resort to try getting some sleep. I wish i had read more about this hotel before booking. If you are traveling with a pet this is a pet friendly hotel with a charge of $50 dollars. For us that was almost half cost of our room. Also that if you are traveling in car you have to pay in order to park in a unpaved dirt and rock lot. I was surprised that in our room the bathroom sink still had hair and stuck in stain like someone spit into the sink. For the expectation i had about this hotel being really clean that to me was disappointing. Since its something so noticeable and main thing to clean. Besides other things that weren't clean properly that stood out the most. Nothing was great about the stay.

Rooms were dirty. Stains on the bed sheets, crumbs on sheets. Bathroom was dirty. I advised the front desk and they said it was chemicals but it did not look like chemicals. I asked to change sheets they only did one bed. I will say their customer service was nice and they tried to rectify it. If cleanliness is a thing for you, this hotel is not it. I checked out early because I could not do it.

Rooms/hallways are getting worn out. Empty lotion bottles, dirty sinks and slow drains indicate only superficial daily maintenance/cleaning. The $12 parking fee (when you’re staying there) is an irritant. The only thing positive going here is location.

While I appreciated the staff at check in, and the ease of catching the shuttle, I was less than happy with my room. It felt musty, the heat/cool system was noisy. Also, our room had a lot of outside noise. We hardly slept. There wasn't any water for purchase in the little store, and it wasn't refilled in the pitchers in the lobby. We were very thirsty when we left there.

We get to our original room and it was extremely filthy. Stains and hair all over the bed. They moved us into another room only for the same thing to happen. The corners of the tub were so filthy. My boyfriend went to speak to the front desk and they said they sold have some up

Comfy bed, quiet - I’m a frequent business traveler and find that the “nicest” of hotels don’t always deliver on comfort and/or a quiet sleep. Crowne Plaza Phoenix delivered, and it was nice to bring my small dog this trip as part of our wider family vacation to AZ. Would recommend.

I booked this hotel on a 3rd party site because the reviews were great. I was not impressed. The biggest positive was the front desk staff. Very welcoming and friendly. The neighborhood was decent but even the front desk agent told me to be cautious at night since it was just myself and daughter. It was a good location for a concert at Mortgage Matchup, a free train ride that stops right outside the hotel. Sadly, the hotel itself was disappointingly dirty, dark, dingy. Hair all over the bathroom which was definitely not mine. Dusty, old furniture. Poor lighting in the halls. Dishes sat near the ice machine for two days and were starting to smell. I would not stay here again. The only redeeming factor is the kind front desk agent.

Hotels.com ordered the wrong room for me. I ordered a Mobility Accessible room. Hotels.com sent in a request for a Hearing Accessible room. I even have a screenshot of what hotels.com sent to Crown Plaza and hotels.com ordered the wrong room for me. I was unable to sleep on the bed and I was unable to take a shower due to my physical disability. I recently had back surgery and a total hip replacements and this is my first trip since then.

The hotel was absolutely gross. Dirty cloth left in the shower, bed had stains, hair in the bed and the bathtub! We tried to get supper across the street but totally unsafe? Unhoused people asking for food and money. We actually ordered food at Burger King, paid for it and ended up leaving with no food as there was a fight and totally unsafe. No parking, if you leave your vehicle for 5 minutes, they will ticket or tow you! We were told they are relentless with tickets. For almost $250 a night, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Staff was all very pleasant and friendly while being helpful. There was some renovations being done, but everything was still kept very clean. We didn't utilize the restaurant or bar, so can't really comment on that other than it did smell good whenever we walked by. The beds and bedding was very comfortable. Would absolutely stay there again.

I live 60 miles from the airport and spent one night here before my early flight. Everything was perfect. The bed was awesome and there were so many comfy pillows. It is a short walk to the Phoenix Sky Train to the airport.

I booked this hotel 6 months in advance. There were no indicators that would have led me to believe that there were going to be a million extra fees when I got to the property. Let me first start by saying that the property was unclean both inside and outside. The outside had trash and cigarette butts littered around the front and parking lot. The inside had chairs covered in dirt and tables that looked like they had not been wiped off in ages. I went to check in, and the staff member was incredibly rude and dismissive. I was expecting to pay approximately 800 dollars. This hotel not only has an incidental fee for EVERY night, but also charges for parking. This increased my 7-day stay from $800 to $1,800. Needless to say, I canceled my reservation (still had to pay $140 for 1 night that I did not even stay, but fine) and I booked elsewhere immediately. I would not recommend this property to others because of the lack of cleanliness, unhelpful staff, and hidden fees that are not noted on the Expedia website.

I stayed here numerous nights. During check in the lady at the front desk was decently rude. Parts of the hotel need updated. My room was next to the elevator and you can hear it constantly. Charging 12.50 a day for parking was ridiculous and being a guest. No other hotel during my trip charged me for parking. The last two nights the parking garage elevator was broke. I would not stay here again.

Very helpful and nice front desk and housekeeping staff, from the first (and last at checkout) contact too early to check in, but eager to take care of us as much as possible including helpful information for when we came back to actually check in to the evening staff who also helped us greatly. When I had trouble signing into the WiFi, I called front guest services who connected me with tech support. After a few minutes, the nice tech was able to resolve the issue. We enjoyed the very clean, quiet rooms. Only a few small issues with very sparse in-room amenities (I couldn't get an extra decaf pod or a writing pad from housekeeping -- though I never asked the front desk); non-working printers in the business center; non working ice-machine on our floor. Overall, those issues are not big enough for me not to think about using The Crowne Plaza at Sky Harbor Airport. (Shout-out to first front desk contact, Lisa! She was amazing! Thanks, Lisa!)

I had a rental for 1 night and I ended up paying for parking, $12, plus a $102 fine for their screw up! I had just gotten the rental returning to the hotel on day 2 of my stay about 7ish PM. I went to the counter to get a pass. I then returned to the car to put the pass in the windshield, but here is this guy writing up cars - he was writing up the car next to mine having just completed mine. He goes 'sorry, I can't do anything about', but that I should go inside and they'll void it at the front desk. Front desk asked me to call the number on the ticket. I call and nobody answers. I left a voice mail with all the details (time, place, name, license #, etc...) and asked for a call back next day. The callback never came so I called the next day and was told I was 37 in line. 1.5 hours later my turn came to be told there is nothing they can do about it, but that they would be willing to settle by having me pay the fine, $102, to then give me a $20 "credit". I politely declined. So, I parked in the lot for one night, I paid a $12 pass AND $102 fine for the same night - I'm repeating myself. Will be filling complain with BBB. The main fault lies with the hotel. They simply don't give a s*it about their customers being screwed over by their parking lot "contactor service" as they call them.

Fine for a before flight option

The customer service was awesome and the food also outstanding! The building was older and furniture weathered...outside pool area furniture was torn and pool could use a paint job the homeless and helpless were all over the outside and that led to no dine in operations outside around the hotel. Even the circle k had police inside after a thief and the service there was bad..so the area, even though it was right at the airport it was like a concrete jungle if you will...

On check out, notified elevator not working for parking garage. Four story walk up, yikes!

This is an Amazing Awesome Hotel! I was surprise that there was not a lamp on the desk, no luggage rack, the refrigerator kept sliding around inside the stand and you needed to check it constantly if the door was open and the clothing rack on the back of the door in bathroom is coming a loose. Therefore, I’m really Big on Customer Service and The professionalism and excellent service that is provided by Front Desk and The Post Restaurant are exceptional and goes over and beyond to please the Guest. Thank you so much for making me feel Comfortable and Safe.

I was changed a 350 dollar smoking fee. My wife and i dont smoke. No one at any point brought up that we had been flagged for smoking on the premises. We tried to resolve this issue amicably with Mattie, she stated we had to dispute it with our credit card. She was no help at all. Very disappointed in this establishment. We will never come back

Very Relaxing. We use the Crowne prior to flying out or back in. We have also used the Crowne for PHX downtown activities. The light rail is right there. So Easy. Recently we went to a baseball game and then took an extra day off to relax. We enjoyed the pool. The Gym was nice. The food was good.

this place needs a serious facelift. the shower head is pulling away from the wall, tv remote if used to much starts sticking and outlets for laptops and phone so loose sometimes didn't have a connection. Outlets at the bar for charging have dust built up all around them.

Booked this hotel at the last minute because of a cancelled flight and 10 hour layover. The front desk was really nice and helpful.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. Let’s start with the most outrageous part! we were charged a $500 smoking fee, claiming someone smoked in the room at 3:34 AM, which makes no sense because everyone was asleep. No one in our group smokes. They claimed a “sensor” went off but gave no proof, no inspection, no photos, no one came to check anything — just a charge slapped on after we left. Total scam. And that’s just the beginning. Cleanliness? Nonexistent.     •    The room had dirty linens when we arrived.     •    Housekeeping never showed up until we complained twice, and they only came once.     •    Trash was overflowing, and the entire room looked and felt neglected. Customer service was unprofessional and dismissive. Every issue we brought up was brushed off like it wasn’t their problem. They were quick to charge us $500, but slow to fix any real concerns. This place is untrustworthy, poorly maintained, and overpriced for what you get. And worst of all, they’ll charge you for things you didn’t do and won’t even try to resolve it fairly. Avoid this hotel at all costs. Don’t waste your time or your money.

There was an issue with the cleanliness of the room. I showed a picture to rhe front desk and was told not possible they clean everything. I said well not this time. The desk clerk was rude and dismissive. I called a couple days later spoke to the desk manager and they forwarded me to a higher manager and never heard back. This was very very bad customer service and I don't know if the issue was addressed.
