Comfort Suites Peoria Sports Complex

We are a family of 5. My wife, our three children, and I. That for starters is a hard sell. Many places can't accommodate my family size. The two queen room and a sleeper sofa works great for us. We also like being at the extreme ends as I know we are loud and they accommodated us. Upon our arrival the staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful to get us settled in. Once in the room, we found a clean room with plenty of bedding for all of us. We like extra pillows and there were plenty. Surprisingly, there were enough towels for all of us. This is a common problem we run across. More often than not we have to get extra towels from the front desk. The mini fridge worked great to keep our beverages and fruits cold. Everything in the room worked as it should. All the staff we encountered during our stay were awesome. The pool and hot tub were great. The only issue we ran across was an ice machine that was acting out, but the staff found a solution to get ice for us. So that was a minute delay on getting ice. No big deal, the problem was handled by the great staff. Thanks for the great stay guys and gals!

Check in was easy and quick, and I appreciate the breakfast choices. When I checked in and took a shower, I was disappointed to find that the shampoo dispenser was empty. So I had to get my wet self dressed and go to the front lobby for some shampoo. Very frustrating to say the least.

TVS are too small, need bigger T. Vs, we did see the bed is uncomfortable. You need new carpet. Just needs to be updated. I like the service. I like the people nothing wrong with the service of the people. The hotel is old and needs to be updated T. VS not adequate at this time, should be new. TVS not 1970 TVS.

Everything was amazing, from the clean comfortable bed and sheets to the breakfast that sure hits the spot I recommend comfort suites to family and friends

Coffee was like sludge. Had to go to Coffee Bean. There was no full length mirror in room. There was some metal piece from bed frame that stuck out and kept hitting my ankle on it. I avoided the elevator after first use; very very very slow doors to open and close as was the lift. Property is in desperate need of a thorough renovation.

The location was amazing, so much to do around the hotel. Elevator was a little slow, but seemed to be solid. Our key cards deactivated once, and I had to take them to the front desk.

Breakfast servers on both mornings were really good at keeping food hot and cleanliness was empicable.. Not to mention the front desk associates were very kind and answered everything I needed .. my only gripe is what's up with the Tv I couldn't get on line to any streaming apps like YouTube etc it kept running in a search mode all night I was so disappointed in that department.. but everything else was empicable I'll come back soon Everything

The room and bathroom everything was neat and clean. The hallways were clean. Breakfast was good. The pool however, was not ideal. It needed some updating, and there were wasps nests in the cement holes by the whirlpool.

Parking lot was well lit /nothing fansy but clean/ only one elevator and it was super slow

Location Elevator was super slow and annoying. The temps were 100+ degrees outside. The sole ice machine broke and instead of fortifying from another source, like Costco, they had a table top machine that some guests were able to use. It was always dry when we asked.

Beautiful hotel, area, awful front desk employee Mariah night shift, our rooms sofa pull out bed unmade was still with sheets the prior set of people that stayed before us. Other than that it was a good stay.

The breakfast and parking was good. The hotel itself need a lot of work and upgrades. I was very disappointed. I doubt if I will stay there anymore. Kitchen staff was very nice: no ice was available in the evenings. When I asked for some, the person behind the desk said it would take her 20 to 30 minutes to make some….. really if you know you are to supply ice, keep making it so your patrons will have some and outside temp was hot.

Then, when I was at the pool, a manager was outside in a shouting argument with one of the employees, and ended up walking away shouting, "You're f'ing dumb," although he didn't use the apostrophe. On the plus side, the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.

Excellent safe parking and area, small gym, great pool which was well maintained.

The property is clean but very neglected. The elevator door opens like molasses, the ice machine doesn't work and when you ask for ice it is not even enough for two drinks. My sister in laws door had to be lifted up in order to close and there were two peep holes one of which was falling out. The vent in our bathroom was half off. The shower door had obviously been broken and just replaced with a curtain. The TV is extremely small and hard to see from the bed. The light from the parking lot also blinds you unless you completely close the black out curtain. The shower shelves hang down so small things actually fall out of them and the shower bottom is chipping and flaking. The carpet between the bathroom is lifting and you can see the tacks are showing. Lots of the furniture is worn and torn and can see the stuffing.

A lower quality 2 star hotel with minimal cleanliness and terrible coffee and broken fixures including the partially functioning elevator.

The trip started out with me booking the wrong day. The person at the desk and GM fixed it all for me. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

Desk agent was fine. Lobby smelled weird. Elevator was slow, creaky, and it bad condition. Walls were damaged, door didn’t close all the way unless security latch was on. And, the tv in the room didn’t work either. Not an overall great experience. Wouldn’t stay again or recommend.

Cleanliness of room and location to our activities.

Great place to stay for a night or two near everything pre-season baseball. Nothing bad, nothing outstanding aside from great service of staff.

The room we got put in was in the back right next to a freeway ramp. The noise was unbearable. The bed was hard as a rock. My husband loved it I had a hard time sleeping.

The staff was wonderful and the breakfast better than I expected. The pool area was smaller than anticipated and it only had one umbrella. We were there during the heat wave, and it was hard to fine shade.

Proximity to the Peoria Ballpark Complex and the hotel is quiet. The bed in room 208 is severely uncomfortable. Terrible sleep. Detail regarding cleaning and upkeep could be better. There were coffee splashes on the wall and missing paint/sheetrock chips in our room, upholstered chair coming apart at the cushion seams. We discovered ottomans in the room had not been moved to vacuum, as we found items from previous occupants under them when we moved them.

beds were really comfortable, A/C worked GREAT!, front desk people were very friendly and helpful, location was central and very close to ball fields and restaurants, pool was great and loved the fountain with cool water in the pool there were only 2 lounge chairs by the pool, and some earplugs in the room would be nice (for the street noise)

Location It is a very basic hotel, very dated. Bed, pillows and bedding really need some improvement. The one tiny elevator is the slowest operating elevator I have ever seen but actually thought that was kind of funny and we weren’t ever in a hurry anyway! Also the air conditioner on the wall was very loud as it came on & off during the night and if you were sleeping on the side of the bed next to it you were blasted with cold air! Our solution was to turn it off at night and just be warm!

Nothing. This place sucked They didn’t clean our room. It was dirty like things splattered on the walls from previous guests. I found hairs everywhere. The curtains were so dirty. The elevator was broken down, the washer in the laundry room has toilet paper or something in it. Just gross

The room was perfect. I loved having coffee and tea in my room to make. The bed was so comfy. Nice and quiet at night. The young man who was in charge of breakfast did an outstanding job keeping up with all the peoples needs. The breakfast was delicious. Parking was perfect for us . We came to watch the Padres and loved that we could walk to the park to watch them. We will definately be back!! The Ostbergs

Only complaint would be that the noise from the freeway was pretty loud - maybe updates could be considered for better filtering of that noise.

USB ports were missing to charge phones both me and my travel companion have CPap machines so there way no way charge phones and plug in our machines. Shower door would not stay open or closed. No one came into clean our room until our last day there so I had to call for more toilet paper and was told I could have some if I came down and got it. Room phone thingy stuck so you had to pry it up to get a dial tone. Elevator door opened very slowly and sometimes started to move before the door was completely shut. Elevator did not have an inspection posted in it, part way through our trip a note was put up that the inspection info was kept at the front desk. Bedside reading lights did not work.

Check your room i had my first room had mold and water dripping from bathroom ceiling. Staff did move me into another room which was clean from what i could tell. Staff was nice. Elevator is crazy slow

Overall, it was a decent hotel. Very friendly staff at check in despite it being almost 11pm. Decent bed and large room. Downsides, burnt out light over the shower and the side door from the parking lot was not locked (latch broken).

Parking was safe and easy, the walk to Peoria Stadium was very short, and the staff was very friendly. In particular, Joey Luna was very helpful in assisting with the poor quality mattress in our first room.

I did call the front desk and they quickly brought up a brand new mattress cover. The air conditioner did not work well and it was difficult to manage the room temperature. Staff were friendly, room was clean and quiet, full breakfast including g sausage and bacon. All very nice! The only thing that was a bit hard…we had very bright outside parking lot lighting and only shears for our window. So much light pouring in all night long made it hard for sleep.

This was a step down hotel of what we were used to. A bit older hotel, the room needs to be upgraded. My granddaughter saw 1 cockroach in bathroom. I wasn’t comfortable there. We stayed because it was late and only one night. I slept with my clothes not night gown on, I wasn’t comfortable just in my night gown. Breakfast was ok though.

Room door had a hole like someone broke in before. Moved to another room and the bed broke. Elevator buttons not working correctly. Not satisfied at all. Will not stay there again.

Wrong side of the room, therefore we could not sleep as it was facing the noisy freeway and it had a high beam light facing the window all night long. We could not close the heavy curtains as each side was for decoration and sheers in middle.

I think I will give another chance see if this comments really make a difference.

The room 202 was not as nice as the room from 8/11. I did not feel comfortable as much as I did before. There were water spots on the ceiling in the bedroom area and water spots and mold it looked like in the shower ceiling. Usually the stay is very comfortable and inviting. But this time it was not very nice.

Clean room. Check out was perfect, Amy was professional and wonderful. Check in was awful. She only said name and ID. She was cursing and mad because she dropped something right as I walked in. I would stay here again and hope I don't see her.

Always stay at this hotel when I come to the Glendale area to visit my children. It is getting a little out dated now and not that clean. This hotel could definitely use a little upgrade, other than that it’s a great hotel with a great location.

This location was perfect for the area we needed to be in for my son's AZJFC for baseball. The hotel was clean the staff was very helpful and polite.

Easy, friendly check in; lower floor request was honored. Pool was small but very useable...and warm. The breakfast was very very good, with many choices. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was good. Many choices for food nearby. Comfortable, quiet sleep! Worth the price!

Easy, friendly check in; lower floor request was honored. Pool was small but very useable...and warm. The breakfast was very very good, with many choices. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was good. Many choices for food nearby. Comfortable, quiet sleep! Worth the price!

Better than other places around the sports park. Breakfast was not great, keys had to be re programmed 2 times a day, bed was pretty hard and lumpy and the coach bed was very dated and super uncomfortable. Staff were friendly just feels outdated.

when I check in afternoon.no-one at front desk. rang bell twice. called out twice. finally someone came out. very flat and seemed annoyed I bothered her. room 225 needs door paiting. waterstains on ceiling need kilz. bathroom faucer hot n cold plumbed backwards. hot should be on left. shower shampoo n conditioner impossible to figure out n use. worthless. matress is tired. can hear spring occasionally when getting up. overall clean. appreciate free breakfast. and really loved noon checkout.

The one big compliant I have is that I entered the hall and the housekeeper was in the hall and asked if we were checking out when I said yes. She went to my room and put the door blocker on the door then she jump on the elevator with us. I asked her if she opened and left my door open she said yes and she said she was just going down stairs to get a housekeeper in training to train her to do a deep cleaning on my room. It really disturbed me that she would leave my room door open and leave the floor.

The desk clerk at check in was awesome and made it check in smooth and quick! He was very friendly and helpful. 5stars for him

Everything was good. The only complaint was the noise from the freeway that we could see from our window.

Staff was friendly and very helpful. Room condition was not good as the carpet was very dirty and it smelled like wet/mildew and it needs replacement ASAP. One of the mattresses and the sofa was pretty beat up. A little refreshing would make this hotel a good place to stay...

Couldn't figure out how to use the water/soft drink vending machine, but maybe it was me brain-dead at 2:00 in the morning. But they should be easy to use, right? Great cleaning staff!

Woke up to bed bugs in my pillow and was still CHARGED for the night! I asked for manager to call me … they never bothered to. I will NEVER stay there again, Horrible.

Our first time staying here while visiting family and it was great! Staff was welcoming and friendly. We got a room with a queen bed and a couch. Everything was clean and very nice. It can be a bit noisy with the highway beside you, so keep in mind if you are sensitive to noise. However with the AC on you can hardly hear it. Great location near lots of restaurants and Arrowhead mall. Breakfast was great. Rebooking for September!

We enjoyed our stay at Comfort Suites in Peoria. The hotel is centrally located, easy access to multitude of restaurants and freeways. The hotel staff are pleasant and helpful from the front desk, kitchen, maintenance (had an issue with a running toilet and it was fixed immediately), to the maid service. All around the trip was great!

Spent all night expecting room to get cold, never happened

Check-in was easy. Room was clean and well stocked. Overall hotel maintenance and cleanliness were very good. Breakfast included eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, muffins, yogurt, juice, coffee and more. The lady that was in charge of the breakfast area was knowledgeable and sweet (food allergy family and she actually knew ingredients!). The best part was the hotel staff. Joey and Reggie at the front desk were incredibly helpful and kind. They epitomized excellent customer service. We'd definitely stay again.

Carpet was dirty. The hot tub was green and not taken care of. The gym was missing a lot of the equipment and no ac.

Entry door did not lock. Shower door would open back up after closed. Air conditioning could cool room down to set temperature. Filter for AC completely plugged up. Room has humid feel after AC ran all day. Lost power to entire hotel for 4 hours. Definitely would not recommend

I was literally "on the freeway." The "gym," a joke. One treadmill that was on it's last legs, about to fall apart. The bike was SO old but did work. The elliptical machne was broken. Weights: two 5 lb wts, one 8 lb weight, one 25 lb and one 30. It was pathetic at best. My key to my room had to be reset every day; it flashed red the first tired night I arrived with all my luggage and I had to come back to the desk from third floor bringing my luggage. Happened again next day after a grocery shop. I was not happy carrying things around. Appears elevator was never cleaned. Breakfast was great and staff was great. Very dated hotel.

Our stay was very nice. The breakfasts were good and the staff was very hospitable and friendly. Unfortunately the Hot Tub was not working during our stay but other than that it was a good experience..

It's an older building, the gal who checked us in was Francis. Our first room the TV didn't work so she made bed us to another room. This one had a huge red stain between the beds and I made the mistake of really looking at the pillows. I don't think I'll stay again though

We booked a room for our family that had a king and sofa bed. There weren't linens or pillows for the sofa bed in the room so we had to go to the desk at 10p for the items only to be told they had sheets but no pillows. The door knob on the bathroom was literally not screwed into the door so it was dangling off and the water pressure and temperate of the shower was inconsistent and frustrating. It's also right by the highway so it's loud and the room darkening blinds don't close completely. The breakfast in the morning was great and the man tending to it was very friendly. Overall, we would not stay here again.

Everything is old and out dated.Lights very dim. Bathtubs slippery, I loved the handycap railings but felt like they were oiled. We had only a little toilet paper on roll had to go ask for some. I asked for housekeeping at front desk but never got. Needs updated

We stayed for one night to go to a spring training game. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was OK and everyone was really friendly at the front desk.

This Comfort Suites was a great location for baseball. However, the room was not clean(thick layer of dust) and the commode did not flush. We spoke to the manager, who was very nice, but it took another day to get maintance to "fix" the toilet. It never was ideal, but finally did flush. The elevator was very dirty as well.

The property is great and the staff is responsive. Unfortunately, the last night was marred by repeated calls being connected to my room around 11pm from a creepy heavy breather. I unplugged the phone, but the experience left me feeling unsafe.

We stayed at the Comfort Suites in Peoria in order to take in some spring training baseball games. The staff was outstanding. The facilities were clean and neat. The pool was small. The reception area was nice. The breakfast could have used a few more healthy eating options but my husband was happy with his options for eggs, breakfast meats, waffles. I understand that cutting back on housekeeping services is a new thing for some properties but I think, if I am paying a fair price for a hotel then I should get housekeeping as a standard amenity. I would stay at this hotel again.

It was quick, but would stay here again very convenient to the ballpark for spring training. They were very accommodating.

The check-in staff was rude. They said "give me your ID". No hello, no welcome, etc. Hotel is aging and could use some refreshing. Lobby chairs had stains, and the carpet throughout the common areas was dirty. The one good thing about this property was the breakfast, it was well stocked and had many choices for a complimentary breakfast. It is within walking distance of the Peoria Sports Complex and restaurants, which is another plus.

Hotel was convenient to sports, shopping and freeway. Freeway was the problem. If your room is on that side, you will hear loud trucks and cars all night long. Also, about a 1 inch gap under the door means bright light from the hallway enters the room all night. Two towels wont block it. I stupidly paid about $200 for this lousy hotel room. Breakfast was subpar. Not 8.0 as ratings say. Maybe 4.0 at best.

To much traffic noise

you don't want people taking food to the room but you don't have enough seating for everyone. People don't check the parking so when someone like me needs a handicap spot there are cars in these spaces with no placard. the sofa bed was horrible, you need new mattresses.

The staff, especially the front desk and breakfast crew were great, but the property was frankly shabby and in need of attention. My room had multiple dark stains in the carpet, a couple of broken light switches, and a smoke detector that beeped loudly throughout my first night's stay. I was so tired after arriving after 1am that I forced myself to sleep through the shrill beeps, but got up first thing in the morning to pull the smoke detector off of the ceiling and reconnect it to its power supply. While the hotel was the cheapest of the three in the immediate area, it was far from inexpensive, and I will not stay here again the next time I visit my family.

Nice location, adequate seevice and cleanliness. Wish they had a blue trashcan in room for recycleables.

The room a little banged up. Several power outlets were broken or didn't work and a couple cosmetic things around the room made it feel like it wasn't kept up necessarily. Main beds were fine, kid who slept on pull-out bed complained.
