Staff was nice. Room had a cleaning solvent smell to it, but was okay. Did see one large roach in the room, but this property is in florida so...overall ok. More affordable than any of the other options in the area.

Reese found my wallet at the counter. I left it there during check in. She is.an honest.and beautiful person. My whole vacation $ was.in that wallet, alot of it in cash. She gave it to Jesseca.and they looked.at who had checked in and gave.me a.call in my room. What wonderful people they both are! I had my credit card number stolen a couple of years ago by the front desk manager at the hotel I stayed at. It is refreshing to know that good, honest people still exist in this world!!!

The breakfast left a little to be desired. I get that it was a continental breakfast, but there was no juice, no fruit, and the muffins were terrible. Replace the muffins with bagels or something. The waffles were good and the other stuff was standard.

Everything as promised and typical for Days Inn, no issues, no bad surprises, easy parking, quick check-in, straightforward, elevator for the 2nd & 3rd floors, fridge & microwave, standard but decent breakfast, great location for walking downtown (assuming you can walk 1 mile, but that gets you to the far end & water's edge where The Fish House is (famous). Nothing fancy, but practical and all for a very value-oriented price. The shower head was a little defective, spraying to the sides, wetting the floor, but front desk was happy to learn of it from me and set about noting it to be fixed (all you can expect & ask, honestly, so all good - these things happen). The breakfast is served on all plastic/paper/styrofoam and I find that outdated, unnecessarily wasteful. That said, even though hotels are generally moving away from that all over the world, it is pretty typical all over the US South & Midwest still, so nothing specific to Days Inn. I do hope all the hotels will one day shift back to actual plates, silverware and cups. More civilized, less wasteful, actually more economical and better for the world we leave our children. Other than that, nothing to say but good things!

I only booked this hotel because it was close the venue I was visiting. Very sketchy surroundings, dirty room with old furniture, the AC barely worked, and it was just not worth the money. Huge gap under the door so bugs and hot air were getting in. There was also someone else’s hair on the folded up bathroom towel and in the shower.

I liked the location as it is close to downtown, this is the reason I booked the hotel. However, felt as if I booked well ahead of time to allow my room to be located in building where the pool is not in the back building. I am very upset that I received a text message at 7am asking me when I was going to check out!! I have significant issues sleeping and had just fallen back to sleep! Hotels in my opinion should allow a lay in and don’t text me at 7:00 am!!!!!!!!!!! Breakfast was all bread products…..I don’t eat bread!

If it says it has a pull out it doesn’t have a pull out. Staff was blunt about accepting our requests when asking questions. Breakfast was insufficient and did not supply our group with good options. Although the rooms are clean, the staff doesn’t refills the bottles of soap and bathroom amenities and sheets were not washed after use.

I will 100% stay here again. We checked in super early and I asked for a downstairs, the lady got me a room right next to the pool for my kids & we loved it! They were very friendly and the hotel was in the middle of everything. About a 17 min drive to the beach but that didn’t bother us at all!

The location was convenient, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay,

I booked for a 3 night stay, however I was only able to stay the 1st (as I had driven 6hrs to my destination) the room was very damp, toilet and tub needed service. I did go out a buy cleaning supplies and cleaned the room myself, which did not help the dampness or the smell. The sheets on the bed smell of bleach and the bed itself wasn’t comfortable, as I have bad allergies and struggled to make it work for the night. I checked out the following morning @9:30am.. I lost money on the stay and decided to end my trip early! I think some updated pictures of the current property and a few updates would better service travelers interested in staying at this location

Ideal location for visiting the Pensacola area. Lots of parking. Great shower The bed had a metal base, which made a noise when you got off it. Not great in the night! The bed was, however, comfortable.

I’m not one to usually book open-to-the-outside rooms but I can honestly say this was a pleasant stay. The price ($160) compared to other rooms I like ($300+) in the area was well worth it. The atmosphere was quiet, the room was clean, and I have no complaints. We didn’t make it to continental breakfast so I can’t give a review on that part. We only stayed for one night but I would definitely consider booking here again for a quick weekend trip.

The staff was friendly, and it when requested more bedding etc it was brought promptly with no issue. We had picked here due to the free breakfast, but it wasn’t worth it at all. Don’t stay here and expect a breakfast, it’s things you could have made in the room.

The room smelled, wet, very humid almost moldy when we got there. The cleaning products used to cover up the smell was overwhelming. I have asthma and it trigged it very bad. Would not stay again, and for the price point, very disappointing.

I liked that the property was close to the airport and walkable to the downtown historic area. The only thing that was annoying is the bathroom lights were on like a sensor, and kept going off and on no matter how often I’d try to turn it off.

We booked for a non smoking and ended up with a smoking room the room smelled of cigarettes the whole stay .. even had us smelling like it.

We are currently on a road trip and have stayed at numerous accommodations. This was the tenth inn, hotel, or motel we've visited, and while the staff was very friendly and helpful, the building is quite old, and the bathrooms could have been cleaner. Our bathroom was not as clean as we expected, especially compared to other places.

I had been driving for over 12 hours. All I wanted to do was have a soak in a hot bubble bath. I paid damn near $200 to ensure that I would be able to. When I finally get to the room, it was a huge disappointment. In the tub was a semi-permanent slip pad in the tub. The was old bath scum and crud stuck all around the edges, so the hot bath is out of the question. I figured a hot shower would have to do. When I turned the shower on, the water sprayed all over except in the right way....and it was piping hot. The cold water was not working properly. I tried to close the door to the restroom to avoid the water getting everywhere...and guess what???????? The door would not close. At all. No latch. At that point I just gave up. I was already undressed and unpacked so I did not have the energy to get dressed and pack up again to request another room. I just fell asleep crying out of sheer disappointment and disbelief. I was in #133. Sadly, I will never stay there again, and I will not recommend it to friends or family. I'm almost certain that you will read this and not really care...nothing will be done or resolved. Nothing to right your wrong. Customer Service no longer exist. I have stayed at other Wyndam Hotels. This was not it.

The staff was great especially at the front desk. Overall, it looks clean but when walking with socks, our white socks turn black. The tub was clogged so every time we showered, it filled up pretty quickly. The location was very convenient for my needs. Overall, it wasn't too bad. I wish we had more option for breakfast. Parking was great!

Conveniently located. 8 blocks above the historic center. Easy walk down the street. Staff was courteous. Room was clean. A very good value considering how close it is to the center. Nice pool and area around it. Breakfast was average. Bread, frozen waffles, cereal, yogurt and coffee. Would stay here again

Price Roaches, beds were only full size and we asked for queens, continental breakfast has no hot breakfast eggs or sausage. Tables were unstable.

Honestly, nothing First room 161 - a/c sounded like a washing machine, toilet wouldn't flush, dirt all over the floor thru-out. Asked for another room - 166. Again toilet wouldn't flush, shower tub had no handrails and my husband suffers neuropathy in his left leg. And, in the parking lot by both rooms was a small black sedan with two flat tires and what looked like bullet holes all over the hood. It was obvious this car had been there awhile. Breakfast offering was those little round frozen waffles you buy at the grocery store. This stay was hideous. We paid $122 for hideous.

Not good value for the money. Very ordinary room - I've had better rooms in Motel 6. Clean but hadn't been deep cleaned in years. Coffee both in the room and at breakfast was terrible, and the breakfast was meager.

Staff was professional and helpful. We stayed in room on 1st floor with excellent view of pool. Stayed previous in other bldg which we did not particularly care for. Did not eat breakfast so cannot comment. Parking was easy and close to room.

The hotel does not look as pictured, the room had a awful mildew smell. The beds were full not queen as I was told on reservation. This place looked like a run down motel I have reached out to customer care and the response is they will educate staff on the different bed sizes and evaluate the condition of the property. That is not a acceptable response.

Everything was above and beyond my expectations. The room was clean, bed well made with extra pillows, the WIFI was fast enough, the swimming pool is a top notch, and the breakfast is unforgettable. Highly recommended! None to be mentioned.

I felt like the receptionist was going to say my room number out loud. So I had to interrupt and say I was familiar with the place . Was more like a motel. Very old. Didn’t feel safe.

The room was clean. It had three beds in the room which was perfect for our family of five. We don’t normally stay in motels where you enter from outside instead of having hallways indoors. The traffic flow was pretty confusing, one way arrows going in but you had to exit the same way because there was no other way out. It was fine for one night.

Clean room, lots of pillows, fridge in room, very low vanity (almost knee level) & bathroom light did not work and was not corrected. Breakfast had no meat or eggs nor fruit. It was cereal, instant grits & oatmeal, variety of breads for toast, small muffin, frozen waffles, & yogurt. Also milk & OJ & coffee. Washer & dryer available in a breezeway. Pool area looked nice.

The grounds need more markings between the curb and the pavement yellow strips because the curbs and the pavement are the same color. I twisted my ankle on one. The staff was very nice, but the place itself needs some updating and not plastic flowers in the flower pots.

The staff was great. Well intentioned and worked to assist. However the wireless was down and I nor my wife could access the wireless throughout our stay. I have stayed at this hotel for many years, and I last visited this hotel approximately 2.5 years ago. This hotel had an elevator. This hotel was very convenient, since I was able to walk all around Pensacola’s Downtown areas, and the beach could be reached by about a drive of about fifteen (15) minutes. Interstate-110 was down the street from this hotel. This area felt very safe to me. There was plenty of free parking on this property. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and this hotel was both quiet and clean. I enjoyed the free WiFi, the television quality, the hot water, and the air conditioning. I had daily housekeeping service performed on my room. The pool was colder, but I did enjoy my swims. The breakfast variety became a lot more limited from how it was done in the past, and I wished that this hotel brought back a return of the hard-boiled eggs, the bagels, and the fruits. There were plenty of bottled waters, orange juices, yogurts, cereals, toasts, muffins, and waffles. A treadmill in the gym did not operate, but I did enjoy the exercise bicycle and the free weights. I would return to this hotel again for my next stay in Pensacola.

Bathtub had a large hole in the bottom that was covered with an adhesive bath mat. It didn’t leak and we didn’t report anything since we were checking out within an hour of finding it. Good hotel, excellent price and location.

This hotel was very convenient to the highway. The only problem was our shower was not working and they didnt have anybidy to fix it that day. The next day they allowed me to use an empty room to shower in but it delayed our travels.

Nice room. Good bed and shower. The lights have smart features but the alarm clock was also SET! Wow. That got me up to a nice breakfast of cereal and yogurt...coulda used other options though.

The property is safe and located in an interesting area of old Pensacola, just north of the downtown entertainment and shopping district, making it very convenient.

Hotel is in a great area for walking downtown and 15min drive to the beach. It quite and the beds are comfortable. Great coffee in the morning. Pool is nice. Would stay here again.

The main lobby doors are locked at 11 p.m., which made check-in quite challenging, especially since we arrived around 1:00 a.m. When we checked in, we found several people congregating on the curb in front of our room, making it awkward and uncomfortable to unload our belongings. An hour later, when I left to grab a quick bite to eat, those same individuals were still there, now smoking weed and behaving even more suspiciously. While I anticipated some foot traffic due to the hotel's proximity to downtown, much of it consisted of homeless individuals, similar to those lingering outside our room throughout the weekend. The breakfast options were disappointing, offering only a limited selection. Although the overall cleanliness of the room was satisfactory, the rust in the toilet and shower detracted from its appearance. On a positive note, the pool was the highlight of the hotel, and the TV in the room was one of the largest I've encountered in a hotel. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this location for a future stay.

Nice pool and breakfast accommodating staff

Stayed in the lower building and it is in need of serious repair/remodel.gap under the door was 3/4 inch.went to swim in the pool only to find a bandaid and cigarette butt floating in the pool.went to work out and found one of the staff sleeping in the workout room. Treadmill was rewired so it worked but no screen to tell speed or incline. Breakfast was sufficient location was very good.

Great staff. The bedrooms were clean. The pool was awesome! Complaints: shower head had a drip that kept the bathroom floor wet and there were some homeless people wandering around.

It was okay . Old could stand a face lift especially being in the location of Pensacola historic district. That why we stayed there.

The downtown location is excellent and in walking distance. My only complaint was the bed was squeaky just getting in it but confortable and lots of pillows.

Short and sweet trip to visit family. Close to plenty of restaurants. Simple coffee and cereal available for breakfast.

The continental breakfast really wasn’t a continental breakfast coffee and rolls are just that. We went somewhere else. There should be fruit on the way to make hot pancakes or waffles. There should be eggs, bacon or sausage or both usually, there’s milk and orange juice usually some cheeses that are out as well as Yogurts. Just be honest and call it light snacks, and coffee. We were disappointed about that. The rest of the place was great. Pool was awesome.

The rooms have improved tremendously since I’ve started returning to the facilities over the years now it’s a good place to stay

I open the room and the room stinks. I had to buy scented spray for the smell. Its a old building in the back looks like crack motel. The toilet had to be flush 3 o more times so it can flush everything. The pillows are terribly uncomfortable . The bathroom is tight .it was the worst experience ever. Never again.

My stay was ok could have been better.Oder in the room that smelled like an attic. Thankfully I bought some disinfectant spray for that. And the crevices of the tub had a small hole in it. It should have been sealed

The A/C was loud and inconsistent. Also the wireless internet was shaky away from the front desk.

The only good thing was the location. But there were closer hotels to the downtown area. The bathroom was dirty and the floor in the main room was dirty. The kind where you have to wipe your feet off before you get into bed. Just an icky experience. The food offered was awful and hardly anything there. I had to find someone just to get milk for the cereal. Never again....

Location to wedding venue

As other's have said in their reviews there is an old smell in the lobby and in the rooms. Its a mixture between mildew and must, with the occasional smell of Marijuana. It is a large complex, built more like an old-school motel. Doors to the outside, not a hall. People coming and going. No accountability with staff. Their parking lot for the front two buildings are at a hard incline and the rear lot is hidden. There was puke in the stairwell the entire three nights. It was interesting. Definitely not as pictured. The breakfast consisted of cereal, bag grits or oatmeal, yogurt, frozen waffle or toast. Not a breakfast for an adult for three straight days.

Decided to get a room downtown because i attended my 20 year high school reunion, and glad i did. It was clean, quiet, and i didnt habe to use a staircase. Was able to walk right up to my room. I was also given the option to check in a little earlier than most places have let me in the past, and i really appreciated that. Was able to get ready for my reunion without being rushed and really enjoyed my stay.

Great place, staff was so nice. Good location to shopping, about 15 minutes from the beach. Great price and convenient to downtown.

Despite those issues, the service was great, and with a little more attention to cleanliness and ventilation, the stay could have been much more comfortable.

Cleaning ,no one clean the room inspired asking reception that there is cockroach in room and toilet and bathroom water doesn’t sink… no cleaning room for 3 days until we have to find someone from cleaning people to request them to do and pay .,breakfast missing eggs .. as to move or refund can’t because book from expedie ..really disappointed paid good amount of money to stay .. I request for a full refund because it was horrible staying with cockroach.

Love this place

I paid for two nights non smoking room and I stayed one night because the room smelled of smoke and weed and I was super tired that night I was driving for 10hrs and I arrived late at the hotel, but when I woke up in the morning I felt sick, I wanted to throw up and I had a headache, literally I ran away from that place. The worst place Had been ever!

The place was broken up into 3 different buildings, the rooms had exterior doors and there were constantly people walking through the area. It didn’t feel very safe. The beds were comfortable and clean linens but the walls in the bathroom had stuff all over them and the tub was gross. Breakfast and pool were nice. Was definitely not worth $125 a night, it’s more of an $80 value.

Awesome location! Walked to bars, restaraunt and shopping. Our room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. My only issue was the lobby smelled like a 1970s bar, stale cigarettes. Very heavy old cigarette smell.

The room was clean and quiet. It appears that there is some sort of renovation taking place as there was a large pile of construction materials in the parking lot. However, the parking lot accessibility was very confusing.

Staff was very helpful. Suggest either having an all smoking property or no smoking. Having a non smoking room next door to a smoker doesn't work.

Room 167 needs a lot of attention.. especially in the bathroom. The toilet seat was repaired... ??? It had some epoxy or some kind of white glue filling a void in the plastic. It was clean but it should have been replaced long ago. The tub caulking was in horrible condition and had multiple colors being used. The door jam into the toilet/tub area was not sealed at the bottom and the wall trim around it had a gap of about 1/2 " between the tile & the trim. The body of the tub was clean but very discolored and looked like it too had been repaired at some point. It was pretty ugly to look at and made the rest of room feel really seedy. As i mentioned it seems like the cleaning staff is doing the best they can but the condition of the room cannot be fixed with lysol & clorox. The hotel was in a great location very near lots of great restaurants. We had a great time during our visit to Pensacola. Because of the condition of the room we seriously considered leaving late Saturday night but stuck it out, mostly because we were very tired. I cannot really reccomend the Hotel overall.. However it was very clean and the folks in the office were very nice.

Went for a one night stay and it was fine. Older but convenient and clean. Was able to walk downtown and to the pier. Big tv was nice too. Would stay again.

The parking lot was confusing to navigate around. We didnt get the free breakfast bc we had to drive to a different building to attend it. If it were connected we wouldve went. Staff stood behind a barrier and didnt make eye contact when at the front desk. Room was clean and well stocked.

Excellent location for all. Near enough to the beach and very close to downtown. Clean, updated and the television had a spectacular picture. Bed was comfortable, but the pillows were “hotel pillows” so bring your own. Breakfast was great.

Room smelled funny like chemicals to hide pet odor. Beds were comfortable location kind of sketchy . TV was big, parking was steep.

Not bad for a quick overnight stay. For $100 coffee would have been nice. Everything was out when I went to their "light" continental breakfast. If you want extras you may want to look around.
