One of the nicer hotels on the beach but the food was so very good and the menu was limited. You couldn't even get an easy lunch/dinner such as a grilled cheese, generic sandwich, etc. Not recommended for families with children just because of the food.

We loved our stay - all staff were so helpful and nice. Highly recommended.

I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Pensacola Beach.

It was absolutely perfect. Clean. Beautiful view. Staff was exceptional. Location was good, parking was good. One evening I went for dinner at the restaurant in the lobby. I never got waited on, so I left. That would be my only complaint. Everything else was perfect.

We just returned and had a great stay. Beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly. Amenities were excellent. Bathroom shower needed a little TLC but I have zero complaints otherwise. Will definitely return.

Outdated TVs, beach never cleaned, more food options. Front desk staff need to be more informative about things available. Our reservation was messed up and had to move from our executive room to a lower level with no balcony for our last night, lady at desk was not very cordial about the misunderstanding and didn’t offer us a room that was equal to what we had! Chairs for beach are too expensive

The location is perfect. We wanted a gulf front property away from the they noise and they delivered. The shower, while clean, did show signs of aging, mold, paint chipping. I couldn’t find a microwave anywhere. I can never eat all my dinner and usually bring it back and eat later so not having access to reheat it was unfortunate.

This is our second time staying at the Pensacola beach resort and we absolutely love it ! It’s so beautiful and clean the staff is awesome , and the most amazing part is the beach, it’s only a step away. We will definitely be back .

This was our 2nd trip from St Louis and it was beyond our expectations. The hotel was one of the best places we have ever been with an amazing view of the gulf. 10/10. We will definitely return on our next vacation trip to pensacola beach in the near future

Beautiful and cozy hotel, rooms are spacious, with a nice view of the beach.

The room was ok. The shower was tired with mildew in it. Staff was less than helpful at checkin. We areived at 1030am and while we understood that there was bo guaranteed early checking our room was not available until 3:50 pm. There is also a $60 per day charge for chairs on the beach.

Property very nice and nice view off the balcony. Windrose restaurant/bar was very good . Snapper and shrimp/grits was awesome . All staff was excellent! Negative would be my frig didn’t get to cold and I had to pay for my beach chair. Also don’t get a room by the elevator nor by a bunch kids if you don’t want to be awaken at 1:00 am. In the morning !! Besides that beautiful property!

My only complaint is the pool furniture, which is a a big deal considering it's the major amenity of the hotel. Every pool chaise lounger was torn and sagging where one would sit. Nice view though! 06/07/2025

My husband and I have stayed at this location each year for the past 10 years. We loved it when it was Margaritaville! It seems like since leaving the franchise they don’t offer as much or care as much. There’s not as much going on at the location like there use to be. The rooms were clean as always, and the staff was friendly. We didn’t get the robes in our room like we normally do, not sure why. Either way it’s a great clean location, right on the beach, very quiet compared to other places on the beach we’ve stayed. If your looking for some place quiet, laid back, right on the beach I’d recommend booking. If you have young children that are always looking for the next most exciting thing going on I’d probably stay some place else.

We loved everything about our PBR experience. Management is ever present and this resort is run like a well-oiled machine with major attention to details. Location, view, well appointed rooms, excellent restaurant and tiki bar options, courteous and helpful staff, covered parking, comfortable bedding and probably the best shower head I’ve ever used! Will most definitely return!!!

Location is excellent , love that the beach not overcrowded The beds are too hard and for the price paid..they should offer free coffee in the morning..we paid 10$ for 2 small coffees, way over priced

When I reserved the room, I was asked on the website whether or not we were planning our stay for a special occasion. I indicated that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We whe returned from dinner, staff had brought us a bottle of champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and vouchers for a free breakfast. Overall, we were very impressed.

THE REASON I WENT WAS FOR RELAXATION, AND THIS PLACE WAS GREAT. THE BEACH AND THE POOL WERE GREAT, WITH THE TIKI BAR BY THE POOL. EVERYONE WAS SO NICE AND THE FOOD AT THE RESTAURANT INSIDE THE HOTEL WAS AWESOME. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Friendly restaurant staff. Front desk staff was ok I think they could have been a little more accommodating since I’m a regular guest. Bed was pretty comfortable but not like I remember on previous trips

I will stay as a family visiting missing a mini microwave out a hiccup in some of my plans with little kids who liked to munch even between meals being able to heat up food would’ve been very helpful but overall, I was very satisfied with their room and everything else.

The location and hotel itself are phenomenal. The only issue I had is when I booked the room it said I had the option to get a room with a balcony and ocean view. Don’t be fooled by this. While they do have rooms facing the oceanfront, the other half of the rooms face the gulf side, which is not the ocean proper. So when you book a room with this option just be aware you may not get exactly what you are thinking.

Beautiful, clean resort with a great pool, easy access down to the beach & parking at no extra charge right next to the resort. Parking garage has elevators that go into the resort. Nice lobby entrance with a beautiful view of the beach with chairs for those that want to sit inside, or chairs directly outside. A nice wooden walkway a short distance to the beach. When you want to come back, there are 2 water faucet areas to rinse off your legs & feet of sand. Rooms were spacious with comfortable beds & a nice large shower. We had gulf side rooms with a view. Each room has a lanai to watch the beach/people & waves roll in & out. We had no problems during our stay so it was perfect. Restaurants & coffee shop within walking distance to the hotel. Glow paddle boards right across the street if you want to take that in. Souvenir shops & more restaurants just a few blocks away. We'll definitely go back!

Excellent place and excellent location. The only thing that disappointed us was the food and bad coffee set up. Order dinner for room service ice and you would have thought they just threw it in a tray. Wasn’t good for what we paid for sure. And cold.

I only have one little complaint but it's more of an idea to pitch to the resort manager, I understand why there are no microwaves in the rooms but there should be a microwave station somewhere in the lobby.

The water pressure in the room was the absolute worst- couldn’t wash hair. I also feel like chairs and umbrella should be included- $70 a day is a rip off.

Only place we stay when in Pensacola. Perfect location if you want to be close to everything but not be close to everything. Never have to worry about beach space, views from both gulf side rooms are amazing! Food at the Windrose restaurant in the hotel was a very pleasant surprise, very delicious and well portioned. We stayed Gulfside and enjoyed the beach view. Our room was spacious and very clean. The trolley runs Memorial Day-Labor Day and is convenient to get around the island. The absolute best thing after a day on the beach and a delicious seafood dinner is sleeping in the most comfortable bed ever. Perfect way to end the day.

Great beach view and access to it.

This hotel is great. The only gripe that I have is they charge you $15 per night for a cot. We got a room with 2 queen beds for our family of 5 assuming a roll away bed was free. Our kids are very young so a separate room wasn't really an option. The price per room was enough that I wasn't expecting a charge for something like that. Outside of that, the hotel was very clean, the staff was very friendly, and all the amenities were fantastic. I would highly recommend this place, just make sure you plan rooms accordingly or expect that extra charge.

Hotel itself was clean, the room could have used a deeper clean, there were stains on our towels and the bathroom didn’t look super clean. Our fridge wasn’t working and one of the maintenance guys came right away and replaced it with a new one! Super helpful’

Higher priced than most hotels but well worth it! Peaceful, clean, great staff, lots to do! Beach chair rental a little high priced for the quality of chair but on a good note, the young lady working on the beach for the chair rentals made the price of $60/ day less painful. Lol! She was a delight! All staff were kind, patient and professional! I'll be back soon!

Great pool with nice chairs! This is a very classy hotel. Staff was so accommodating & helpful.

Outdoor pool was closed for most of our stay. The Rose was closed to us as well for a private event. This is the second time staying the rose has been closed. The restaurant needs upgrading. The bar is way too small especially when weather is not great. They need more one TV in the restaurant. The TVs need mounted on the wall. not a tv you roll in out that only one side of the bar can see. They also need some music in there. The seating needs upgraded as well. They have a big area for seating that could be used more efficient and accommodate guests! Clearly guests like the bar it’s packed most times so make it bigger or have more than one!

The Pensacola Resort Hotel was beautiful with large, very clean rooms, the restaurant had delicious food and the heated pool was perfect. We were on the ocean side with a balcony. I will definitely go there again!

This is the second year in a row that we have vacationed at the Pensacola Beach Resort. The only thing negative I can say is they didn’t have a microwave in the room. They have a mini fridge, but no microwave. That would be very nice and helpful. Otherwise, restaurant, pool, location, and staff were all great!!

Really beautiful property and a huge room. We were on a corner so had a view of the sound, the gulf, and everything to the east. I love the views from the restaurant.. and all of the interesting, comfortable seating options in the restaurant. A very enjoyable stay.

I thought this property was five stars. My only recommendation is that if you eat at the restaurant, split a dinner because they give you huge portions.!! the beaches are absolutely pristine and I would advise you get a lounger and umbrella as well because it does get HOT - speaking as a Clevelander ha ha!

The beds were very comfortable and clean. The only thing I didn’t like was they called me at 3am on the day I was leaving to head down and said my credit card didn’t go through for the first day’s payment. I called back at 8am and asked them to run it back through and it was fine. Don’t wake people up at 3am when you should have already handled that.

The only issue we had this visit was a slow drain in the shower but the day after we arrived the front desk arranged for that to be taken care of. Everyone is super responsive and friendly, and the Windrose restaurant is excellent. Be sure to try a Blue Angels Lemonade at the tiki bar by the pool!

The Gulf view was breathtaking! The staff was amazing. Amenities throughout, always a plus! Easy beach access. Clean room, cleaning crew could have gone the extra mile and swept the floor but hard to complain when everything else was top notch!

It's a great location for walking access to the restaurants. The beach is beautiful and easily accessible from the hotel. We setup at the pool and had a direct view of the Gulf, spending the day going back and forth to the beach. The rooms were very clean, and staff very attentive. We ate at the Winrose restaurant multiple times and the food never disappointed. This is the second straight year we stayed here and have recommended to others, who equally enjoyed the property. If I go back to Pensacola Beach again, I would definitely stay here.

Nice sitting areas by the pool chairs loungers and umbrellas. The pool view is over looks the ocean which makes it nice to have the view. I felt the beach chair rentals were a little pricy for a day, but they are 3rd party. Room was very clean and had extra sitting areas. The balcony view was very enjoyable. Very nice view of the Bay Area. So you still see a lot of water. Over all very satisfied with the stay. Would stay again. And highley recommended.

My wife and I stayed 8 nights, we love this property, this was our 3rd time. Great staff, great restaurant, beautiful beach. Walking distance to several local restaurants. We had the executive king gulf front with a huge corner balcony. No complaints, will stay there again. Beautiful updated resort.

The property and the view are good. King size room is great, big shower. The only issue is the don’t clean your room. They come over but just to leave towels and make bed some times. The cleaning service is horrible, they did not clean our room. For the whole week of our stay they made bed couple of time and left some towels, that’s all. when I called to talk to the manager they did not connect me.

This property was so peaceful, beautiful and made for the perfect getaway. Good food options, great drinks, and friendly staff made the stay that much better. Not far from the boardwalk to explore other options but I barely left the resort! I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this property!!

Beautiful property right on the beach but unfortunately the cleaning staff was lacking. Questioned whether our room was cleaned prior to our arrival. When we arrived we walked out on the patio which has a beautiful view of the gulf but it was clear the housekeeper didnt even go out there as there were old gas station cups left and sand everywhere like it wasnt swept. Then when we walked in the bathroom there was an old tissue left on the bathroom floor followed by a pubic hair left on the shower wall. Last there was an old K cup left inside the coffee maker. All though it appeared the beds had been tended to it was clear that the cleaning staff did a poor job cleaning in between guests.

The pool and area was great, my room was on the 2nd floor which is like the 3rd floor due to the parking garage on the first floor. Walkway to the beach was nice. The breakfast was the best I ever eaten. Staff was friendly and provided anything that I needed. I had my service dog and she was treated like a queen. I stayed there in March, April and have another stay booked in June. I Love this place!

Stayed at Pensacola Beach Resort with a family of two adults and two teen daughters and it was very disappointed. While the hotel looked clean and the lobby was nice, seating was limited. They have a sitting area outside but the wind brought the guests to come inside the lobby. This is definitely not a family-friendly place. The pool was small, overcrowded, and full of loud adults drinking. We didn’t feel comfortable letting our daughters stay in the pool. Room cleanliness was also an issue. The shower had mold, and housekeeping barely cleaned. One bed was half-made, the other wasn’t touched, and no toiletries were restocked. I even had to go to the lobby for toilet paper. Beds very uncomfortable that we ended up with back pain. Overall, not a good experience and we won’t be returning.

Executive suite should have been better. Shower had mold. Toilet extremely loud when flushing. A few bugs as well.

The property was as nice as advertised. When we first arrived, they were dredging right in front of our hotel and it would’ve been nice for a heads up on that. But as we discussed it with management, they really didn’t have ample time to notify everyone because the city was basically dredging and moving down the beach. By the next morning, the piping was gone. Everything resumed as planned.

The beach is beautiful and close, the staff is hospitable, the area is not too crowded, we loved the Salty Rose as it was comfortable, casual, with great food and service. The Bay view is gorgeous.

WOW. What an amazing place. We were there in the middle of the week which probably helped and it was off season. The room was CLEAN and big. AC worked great, bathroom was clean. Balcony had beautiful views of the Gulf. Quiet and clean. The restaurant was incredible - pool area clean and quiet. We were there for our wedding and just a few days peace and quiet. PCR delivered in spades everything that we wanted and more. It was mostly older adults like us there- which was perfect - I'm sure there are children at other times of the year, but this past week we did not see any. We are in Pensacola 7 or 8 times a year and have found our new favorite place.

Outstanding establishment

The view is unbeatable. But for the cost of the room it's not really a resort. It's a beach hotel with a great view. The safe in our room didn't work, the air conditioning didn't work and the beds were not very comfortable. We didn't use the pool as the weather was a bit cool. We ate at the restaurant and the food was ok, not very original and very expensive.

The property is beautiful and well kept. Every employee was helpful and welcoming. The highlight was the pool. Unfortunately, the beach was not available during our stay so the pool was a great compromise. We will definitely return.

No beach access due to dredging and I paid extra for a room with a water view and it was a view of the roof with a little bit of the water.

We had an executive King room Gulf view. It was spectacular. It was a corner room so we had an L-shaped balcony and could see both the golf and the bay.

Friendly staff and a nice overall atmosphere. The service was welcoming and made the stay pleasant. However, the shower was very dirty, which was disappointing and took away from the experience. With better attention to cleanliness, this place could be much better. I also wish we had been informed ahead of time about the construction at the beach, as we weren’t able to enjoy it on Saturday and Sunday because of the work being done.

House keeping walked in without knocking at 830 in the morning and I was wasn’t clothed even though check out is 11. Beach was closed as well due to work without letting us know before booking. When I tried speaking to a manager about my concerns I was met with no manger to be found.

There are not enough plugs in the room. We are CPAP users and combine that with phone plugs and there were not enough receptacles. The usb plug on one of the lamps was not working.

This resort was beautiful! We were able to check in early at 1pm, get on the beach right away, and we were able to check out but use all their amenities until we left at 4pm the next day. Pool and food was also amazing. You just can’t beat the proximity to the beach! Overall 10/10, would go again!

We stayed bay side 2 days and ocean view 2 days. The rooms were beautiful, clean and spacious. Stunning views both sides. Pool was top notch, heated and always a place to set pool side. 1 complaint .. the beach chair rental was $60 which is nuts. Everything else was superb.. bring your own chairs and umbrellas and its perfect.

We had a great time! Right on the beach, $50 for chairs and umbrella for the day. Breakfasts at the Windrose were great. Heated pool overlooking the ocean was really nice

My room was excellent. We had a bay and beach view which I absolutely loved. The room was clean, the hotel was clean, and the staff was nice. Everything needed was in walking distance. My only complaint was there was no microwave on the property at all but other than that my stay was beautiful. I would stay again.

You will need to add the game room, library, tennis/basketball court, or movie theater for entertainment! If you are planning on staying at that hotel for the week, you will be freaking bored! Also, cable TV is terrible! Great stay!

Room was ready an hour early for check in which was nice. We had a gulf front king. It wasn’t as clean as it should’ve been but we managed as the bed and linens were fresh. There is no complimentary coffee at this resort which was a huge bummer for us looking for early morning caffeine. The staff was friendly and the resort itself is beautiful with location right on the beach. We dined downtown Pensacola for dinner and brunch as it was our own preference.

The hotel was beautiful! Pete at the bar was phenomenal! My husband and I were there for a single night for a retirement the next day. We had stopped at the bar for a quick drink. The next day, Pete remembered us and what we ordered the night before which really impressed us considering it was a bit of a madhouse that weekend because of a wedding. We had such a wonderful experience that we chose to add another night. Robin at the counter was amazing! She was able to make our stay even more fantastic. We had to move rooms but because of the inconvenience, she made up for it with a better room! She was so pleasant (honestly, the whole staff was) and I can’t wait to make it a stop again next year!

We’ve stayed at this place 3 times now. 2 previously when they were Margaritaville and now under different ownership. Our first trip was during Christmas break 8 years ago. That was the best experience. The Land Shark restaurant was open and hotel had many amenities. The last time was 2 years ago. Still under Margaritaville. Beds weren’t as comfy and less amenities. The last time was earlier this week. Under new management. Less beach amenities. Restaurant had minimal options. Beds weren’t as comfortable either.

The resort is absolutely gorgeous, from the minute you walk into the lobby. Will never forget that beautiful view from our balcony. The room itself was so well designed and spacious. The staff was so helpful and welcoming. The pool was perfect on our 2 warm days, overlooking the gulf as we sat in lounge chairs.

I stayed at the Pensacola Beach Resort and overall had a very nice experience. The resort itself is beautiful, the rooms were clean and well maintained, and the breakfast was good and made to order. One small surprise was that there was no option for cappuccino or latte, only regular coffee - which felt a bit unexpected for a four-star hotel. Aside from that, everything was exactly what you would expect from a resort of this caliber. I would definitely recommend it.

We come here every Thanksgiving for a quiet and relaxing getaway, and this year was no exception. The staff, as always, felt like family — warm, welcoming, and even helping us with our luggage so kindly. Nothing has drastically changed, and that’s exactly what I appreciate: the consistent comfort and timeless quality of this resort. Our corner room this time had a beautiful view, and waking up to the sound of the waves was pure happiness. We’ll definitely be back again next year, already looking forward to that same peaceful feeling waiting for us. Thank you

I absolutely loved the view. Check in was a breeze and I loved the restaurant. My only complaint was you can hear everything. My neighbor in the next room were extremely loud and it started at 5 AM until the time we checked out which is kind of understandable. They did sound like they were smaller children, but next time I will choose a more adult style venue to stay at. The staff was pretty awesome and extremely courteous. I would definitely recommend.

We love the Pensacola Beach Resort, it’s an upscale coastal resort on the sand, what’s not to love! We have been with them since they purchased from Margaritaville and I have to say the property is immaculate and the staff under the leadership of the new owner is amazing. We are treated very well. The food is great and you can’t beat the view. My only suggestion would be to have perks for their loyal members. They also need to designate one of the meeting rooms as a Business Office. There are a lot of professionals here trying to work in the lobby. Again, love it here and we’ll be back!

We travel to the Pensacola area quite a bit and this is the best hotel by far. Our arrival experience was actually fun thanks to the efforts of Bella, Lukey, and Raven! they were a fun team and made us feel special. We had the 'Executive' suite which is a bit pricier, but worth every dollar. The balcony has a spectacular view of the Gulf and the shower in the bath was huge with a large soak tub to boot! I like that the Hotel has two restaurants (one was closed for the Season) and a great Bar where Jackson plies his skills with an artistic flare. We hated to leave, but will be back soon. Do yourself a favor and book the Pensacola Beach Resort.
