Absolutely disgusting. Never stay there

Place isn’t too bad. Went to ask the front if they had vending machines and he answered a call and said one sec and we waited for 10 mins. Breakfast wasn’t terrible but just waffles and bagels, cereal really. Wasn’t “dirty” necessarily but didn’t feel clean.

Clean room, breakfast was limited parking was blocked off to back side where room was located. Overall good for price.

If you just want a bed to sleep in than this is your place. 75% of the TV channels didn't come in. Either they were in Spanish, didn't have sound or didn't come in at all. Breakfast was a joke. Pool was ok. Air conditioning in room worked well but was kind of loud.

The proximity to the beach Our first night I woke up at 4:30am to find a large bed bug crawling on my pillow. I took the bug to the front desk and was told I was lying and that the bug was not a bed bug. After arguing with me for 5 minutes the desk attendant moved us to a different room. After inspecting the new room we decided to stay. On the final night I found a German cockroach on the floor. The facilities in general are being renovated but it is clear that the renovations are purely cosmetic. Management refused any refunds, despite failing to provide a safe and sanitary environment. They insisted they have a pest control program in place but it is clear they need to do much more. I will not be back to this location in the future.

I checked in at 6:30pm that evening and checked out 7:30am the next day and they took a $100 deposit that was supposed to be for incidentals refunded when I check out and they kept the payment because it posted to my account telling me it was refunded that same day 5 days later still no refund. They are scammers. Next stay there!

After checking in to my two rooms, my family and I went to our event. Upon our return my niece attempted to take a shower and the water didn’t drain. We informed the staff and was moved to another room. After checking into that room, my brother discovered there was no safety latch on the door. He informed the older gentleman at the front desk and was initially told, “We’ll check it out in the morning.” My brother then had to ask the gentleman what would he do if it was his family?

The front desk employee was super friendly. The room was perfect for a one night stay and very clean. Can’t complain at all for the price!

We stayed over Memorial Day weekend. The property is well maintained outside. The rooms were clean. There was a really musty smell to the room when we first got in along with old cigarette smoke. The remote to the tv did not work which was not a big deal since we did not go to Pawleys to watch tv and in all fairness after playing at the beach all day we were to tired to walk over to the office and ask them to fix it. I do recommend asking for extra towels on check in. They are small and thin and you only get two. Overall, I would stay there again.

Nice pool, not overly crowded. Breakfast was basic. Waffles, cereal, toast.

Yes this place was very affordable, but next time we’ll spend a little extra to be roach free. When I brought the little bugs up to management, the response was “what?? In the room?? I will check!” We followed up twice (only stayed 3 nights) and got no clear answer of what their solution would be. We were told housekeeping would spray, but housekeeping never came to our room (even though I asked). So I mean it did the trick but y’all, there’s roaches so idk. Spend a little more for somewhere else for your beach weekend and thank me later.

Parking was easy. Staff on Sunday helpful, staff on Monday not helpful. Breakfast provided very scant. Bathroom not clean.

It is always a decent place for impromptu beach trips.

If you have dogs that occasionally bark, you may want to reconsider. No fault of the facility but since it is a motel type arrangement, animals can here people walking by.

Parking was easy. The staff was excellent. The room was very clean. The AC worked ok, but was a bit noisy.

Did mot try the breakfast. Location was great/convenient for the golf I was playing. The faucet at the sink was broken. That tells me the person who cleaned my room did not clean the sink. OR ignored the fact that the hardware was loose and the water only trickeled out. And did not report it to maintenance.

Bed was comfortable. Air conditioning worked great. Room location was fantastic. Decent breakfast. Great pool for the kids.

We had a nice stay, affordable recently refurbished motel. Great pool, the kids were happy and breakfast room was nice.

The room looked nice and the bed was comfortable. However, it lacked privacy, cleanliness, and “quality.” We only got one towel. The wash cloth and floor mat had stains on them. The hard wood floor was dirty and sticky, like only a vacuum was run over the main walking area when you enter. I booked a non-smoking room, which the front desk employee made sure to emphasis what “non-smoking” meant in an almost insulting way for no apparent reason, and our bathroom smelled like someone smoked in there. The shower leaked from underneath, leading to a puddle outside the shower anytime we used it. Our privacy and blackout curtains didn’t fully cover the window, and thanks to the giant floor length mirror right by the door anyone can see in to the beds in the room and it didn’t help fully block out the sun. They also state there’s no room cleaning unless requested, and no door hanger for privacy, so imagine our confusion and surprise when someone started knocking and then opened our door. Our keycards stopped working and we had to get new ones after less than a day. Parking situation isn’t great, there’s limited spaces and in the evenings it’s full and there’s a giant pond in the middle of the lot which makes it hard to fit the cars into spaces because you don’t have room to back in or get far enough out to turn into a space.

The breakfast consisted of a broken juice machine (all 4 options) 1 piece of bread in the bagel bin, and general sadness… The diy waffles might have been okay, but didn’t feel like messing with them. Shower was hot with good pressure, and bed was hard as a rock.

Clean the tracks on both doors so the both open. Oh. Towels smell funny. . Maybe mount the shampoo and conditioner on the wall. Not the shower floor Breakfast ?? Nah. Pool area was very nice. The main office area inviting. New paint on the walls. It can be very nice if it was cleaner ( shower tracks and the floors). Value was good for a Friday and saturdsy

Technically, they are correct in advertising a free breakfast but Froot Loops and waffles without syrup are really poor choices. The water in the shower took over five minutes to get warm and the shower door was broken. Additionally, the shower floor was moldy, and the toilet seat had many scratches. The bed was comfortable, and the AC kept the wrong quite cool. I did not try the coffee machine or the microwave. The refrigerator worked fine.

A/C WORKED FINE. AND THE ROOM WAS PARTIALLY CLEAN. DIRTY SHOWER CURTINS. AND THE WINDOWS CURTINS WAS BROKEN AND HARD TO CLOSE. MY DOOR KEYS BECAME DE ACTIVATED ON MY NIGHT STAY.

They advertise food and there was no food. The pool was not open and I had to get toilet paper for my room and there was no towels.

They were in the middle of renovations. My daughter had a great room. Mine still needed more updating in the bathroom (no mirror and outlets weren’t covered) The pool was still closed - at breakfast there was no yogurt or fruit

Constuction was being done around the entire facility, a large dumpster was placed right outside of my room despite there being space elsewhere. I was given stained towels twice, in which I complained to the front desk and they gave me new ones. There is no manager on duty to assist with issues, the owner doesn't respond. During breakfast the tables were dirty and overall a bad experience. Will not be returning

The air conditioning was cold, and the room seems to be recently renovated. Unfortunately the bathroom was not cleaned very well. For an inexpensive room on short notice and a quick overnight it sufficed.

It was close to our sons golf ball tournament next door at Founders Club The construction is on going. Dumpsters outside our room Construction Personal every where and lots of weed smoking by said personnel Also we had a 3 day stay We asked for towels the second day and they never brought any. Had to go to office to retrieve we were handed towel fresh from a shipping box that had never been laundered and we also reminded them we needed shampoo. Never refilled it All we had was conditioner in our room and horrid bar soap The pipes they painted in the bathroom were already showing rust because they didn’t do proper stain blocking initially Our keys kept needing to be replaced because they claimed we were not keeping them away from our cell phones or other cards Other patrons told me the same thing was happening to their keys This property has a gold mine opportunity sitting there next to the golf course however they are not outfitting this hotel to accommodate that caliber of patrons which is sad I mentioned there was a golf tournament with college 120 golfers and the coaches and families here at this tournament. No one at this property even knew or cared that this was going on Their marketing team is useless and owners should know better that throwing a property together like this in such a slip shod way

The room was dirty, mold in the sink drains, the shower looked like it would make me dirtier if I used it, I woke up to a mysterious puddle in the middle of my floor, I was surprised there was a keurig but was unsure if I’d trust the tap water, didn’t matter because there were only decaf cups.

The rooms were falling apart. I have stayed there 3 times and it’s gotten worse each time. They charged $100.00 deposit even though the rooms were paid in advance. Not sure what that was for because there’s no way the room could possibly be damaged as bad as they were. The outlet in the bathroom didn’t work so I had to go to my son’s room to dry my hair. They had to move us from the first room because the toilet wouldn’t flush. My husband had to go to the office to get a plunger because the toliet wouldn’t flush in the second room. Also the phones didn’t work in any of the rooms. Friends were also staying there. They had two rooms also. I can’t believe they are able to keep the Quality Inn name. Needless to say we will not go back there.

The room had a musky odor. There was a small hole in our sheet. There were a couple of small holes in our towels. The couch in our room had stains on it so we did not want to sit on it without a towel over the stains. There was only one trash can in the room and none in the bathroom. There was also no luggage rack.

The property presents in generally sound condition, with the understanding that water exposure may reveal additional wear. Certain areas would benefit from updating and a more comprehensive cleaning. The staff demonstrated excellent service by accommodating our request for a room change, considering our mobility limitations with the initial room's staircase access. Parking facilities were satisfactory.

No channel guide on TV. I have stayed at this facility twice before, in two years. This time was terrible. Outside. Beautiful. Well maintained grass and shrubbery. Front desk check in went well. They had my reservation, first floor room as requested.

Very kind staff and easy check-in. The room was dated but clean. The bed was SO comfortable, and it is at a great location! The only suggestion I have is to have more pack and plays available for children. Other than that, this was a great value! We will be back!

We never stayed here because we couldn't find the hotel even using GPS. we drove all the way back home 4 hours away. Stay frequently at one of your hotels in Pa. We even called hotel to get directions. No luck. Very disappointed to say the least.

I was checked in to the second room the refrigerator did not work and there was a business sprayind for cockroaches the owner told no other rooms available and check me out which he did . The place was reasonably good for the price. The "breakfast" was all carbs/wheat. I'm celiac. The only thing I could eat was an apple. The TV couldn't even get a free ABC channel. It WAS clean and the desk folks were nice, but couldn't really help us.

Floor was dirty when we arrived. Room was freezing cold when arriving but afterward it was as if the AC didn’t get cold enough even though it was on cool and on the lowest setting. Breakfast was terrible. No options.

As soon as you step in the floor was boggy, multiple places throughout the room, as if there was water damage underneath and they improperly corrected it. Multiple people smoking outside on the balconies and hallway, the smell of smoke coming through the air conditioner. Outlet, next to the sink wasn't properly installed.So as soon as you go to turn on or turn off a switch, it pushed into the wall like there was no screw installed. The bathroom shower was very nice, except it didn't have any shampoo or conditioner and the door was installed backwards, so he had to squeeze between the door and the toilet to get into the shower

Well first off I was charged in full 2 full days before my stay instead of paying at the site like I wanted. When I called to ask why the front desk person was rude! Then after traveling 10+ hours I was informed that I needed to pay a deposit that was not disclosed when I paid the rooms in full! After we had to go down to the front desk 3 times because our room key didnt work (we had multiple) the room floors were full of sand and dirt, my feet were black after walking from bathroom to bed. The bed sheets were not clean, each room and in each bed the sheets had sand and dirt from the previous people. Showers were dirty, one had dirt on shower floor, one had hair all over side. I can understand why the place has 2.5 Stars. Next time I come to Myrtle Beach I will definitely do my homework first.

Well first off I was charged in full 2 full days before my stay instead of paying at the site like I wanted. When I called to ask why the front desk person was rude! Then after traveling 10+ hours I was informed that I needed to pay a deposit that was not disclosed when I paid the rooms in full! After we had to go down to the front desk 3 times because our room key didnt work (we had multiple) the room floors were full of sand and dirt, my feet were black after walking from bathroom to bed. The lady that checked us in was wonderful. That was the only bright spot. The room was tiny and gross. Nobody cleaned the room either. They replaced 1 towel and stole my earbuds. The rest of the room was untouched. They didn't even change the trash. The breakfast was inedible and not ready at the designated time. The refrigerated food was expired. The "coffee" was light brown water. The bathroom was so tiny and disgusting. The morning front desk clerk was disheveled and unprofessional.

There were so many things wrong with the room. There was a domestic dispute next door at midnight. My daughter called the front desk rather than calling the police. They said they’d take care of it, but nothing was done. There were a lot of very shady people staying there, so it wasn’t very comfortable at all. I will NEVER stay there again and I visit that area a lot. As a travel agent, I will NEVER book another trip with this hotel for myself or any of my customers. Word of mouth is very important and I have nothing nice to say about this hotel!!!

This motel is fine if you need an affordable place to stay in the Pawleys Island area. I grew up in the area so I know it’s an older property but with a little investment and some upgrades it could be nice. The staff was very friendly and the pool area was nice.

I was given a replacement room and when i went to it there was already a family in it. After about 2 hours of going back and forth i was given a 3rd room and it was dirty; crumbs in the bed, stains on the sheets and pillow cases, and toiletries in the bathroom. Management finally agreed to a refund and i found a different hotel.

I had to wait 3 hours for him to get off work. We had reserved several rooms for a Birthday celebration. One guest had to change rooms three times. The first time the room had not been cleaned at all, second time no refrigerator and third time no hot water for showers. A second guest had to change to two different rooms due to the first room not being cleaned. Another guest who checked in later got the same room that they said they had fixed the hot water problem but they didn’t. Very poor experience for my guest that traveled so far for my 65th Birthday party. Very disappointed, we use choice hotels but have never had an experience like this. I feel a reimbursement should be in order.

Nice place to stay in good location near the golf courses I was playing (True Blue and Caledonia). Very quiet while I was there. Rooms had been updated and were comfortable.

I’ve stayed at a number of places in this area and this one was the worst so far. Bedside table hanging off the wall. Placed my Stanley on it and it rolled to the floor. Sloping/soft floor in bathroom. Not the cleanest. Bedding smelled like men’s deodorant and pits, like the top blanket was never washed or changed.

The hotel was sending guests to rooms that weren’t ready or were already occupied. When we arrived in our room one of the beds did not have a mattress and the other had no sheets. Generally disgusting and downtrodden.

The check in process was long. Rep could not log in and she was also going over rooms that were ready/not ready with housekeeping while we waited in line. It took almost 45 mins. Note when I wanted to check in 15 mins early,I was told it would be $25. I guess it’s ok for them to check me in late through for free.

Overall the property had what we needed just the breakfast could improve selection..there was not much to choose from.

It was convenient. We stay here often because of the location. There is free breakfast but no meats. The belgian waffles are good. Pool is a nice size and a golf course right next to the hotel. The beds are comfy. Staff is great 👍

This is the second time my family has stayed at this location. Its super close to the beach. Its clean and well kept.

Room was suppose to be smoke free and smelled like smoke. The smell was so strong we had to move to another hotel.

A quick trip … was a decent room for price ! Needs updating …door key didn’t work ! And saw roach when I got up for a drink of water during the night and floor could use a good moping it was really dirty !

The carport was not marked with height limitations. Husband drove under damaging his sprinter van by ripping off the equipment on the roof of car. No towels in room had to ask twice over 5 hour wait then had to retrieve from front desk because the only person working was struggling . Saterday while my husband repaired his sprinter van , I spotted a lizard in my room. I trapped it with the trash can hoping housekeeping could help . Housekeeping never came . Left the lizard on trash can upon leaving. The bathroom was not clean around the tub . I took a picture of the filth that I removed with a washcloth. Sad state of affairs .

However, check-in was slow. The clerk may have been new or incompetent, but it got done. Wi-fi was only successful by bringing my computer to the lobby. The tv did not work, so I was moved to a different room the second day. The phone in neither room worked. The continental breakfast was meagre. The important things for me were good and I would stay there again.

My mom and friend both are fall risks ans there were things that like the grab bar being loose that could have caused them to fall

This is an older budget hotel, so expectations were not high. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable enough for a short stay.

Clean rooms, slightly above average breakfast, friendly staff. At this level of hotel this is a win. I’d recommend and book them again.

The room my family stayed in had a roach on the tv. We had to clean the shower before we could use it, it was dirty. There was spider webs everywhere. The refrigerator was not clean. They gave us another room and there was trash in the refrigerator, towels was dirty. The bed sheets had brown stains on them. Spider webs in the corners. There was an guy and his family that lived on the property that kept watching us. The hotel is nothing like the picture on the website. I will not be staying there anymore.

The room was nice , comfy. But I have allergies super bad and something irritated them. I found the room very clean, the shower how er had some long brown hairs on the tile close to the top( housekeeping probably just looked down and focused on the shower floor,( they just need to remember to look up also) Also for some reason the shower door kept opening during my shower . It concerned me as I did not want to get the floor and mat all wet. Other than that, my stay was fine.

Check in reception excellent… room in good shape…bathroom walls need attention…tv good…noise is EXCESSIVE early in morning from cars on Highway 17…could help by putting a high berm in front of property…woke up early and could see no lights on in breakfast area…went down for quick coffee and NO LIGHTS in room…hard to see what was available…outside property needs repainting on rails to cover rust

I am extremely upset, at first the place looked wonderful. The room was fairly clean, it was a nicer room with pull out sofa, and despite only having two pillows, my wife and I were quite happy with the room. We checked in late ( around midnight) and the front desk attendant was very nice and helpful. Checkout was a different story. We get to the front office to collect deposit, and are told that we won't get it back because we had a dog in the room. WE DID NOT HAVE A DOG IN OUR ROOM. Jessie, (I think that's her name) was very rude, basically flat out calling my wife and I liars, said they were going to check the cameras I said okay good, we got here late and we only left the room 2 times so this shouldn't take long at all...
