We had a pleasant stay and recommend Silver Sycamore.

Stayed at Silver Sycamore in the Rustic Oaks cabin over Christmas. Can't say enough great things about my stay, or the property. A completely unique experience. Looking forward to returning.

Staff is extremely polite, and make sure your stay is perfect. Needed a peaceful weekend filled with relaxation, and the Silver Sycamore did just that. Enjoyed relaxing in the private Tulip cabin. Thank you, and I look forward in returning soon!

Property is kept beautifully from the individual cottages down to the plant beds. No detail is spared from perfection! Beds are comfortable. Living area is cozy and cool. Everything is always clean. A unique experience every time. Highly recommended!

I call to make Reservation for 2 nights, and I give them all my information, including my Credit Card information and I hung up. But only 10 minutes later, I call again to CANCEL it, but they charged me anyway. And I feel so disappointed!!!!!!!😡

If I did have the smallest complaint, the music being piped through the venue (especially the speaker outside our cabin) during the day was a little loud.

A cute place in a mostly residential area but close to many restaurants. The first room we had didn’t have a shower and when I asked we were moved into one that did. The breakfast was in a nice restaurant on site so there were good choices. It was farther to Houston Space Center than I thought it was going to be, but otherwise it was a nice place.

I stayed in the Willow and it was just as the pictures showed but even better. Such a cool quiet place to stay. The antique decor was a nice touch. I would definitely stay there again

Easy contactless check-in. Clear instructions about parking and check in. Adorable tiny house style cottages. I want to try all of them!

I would be concerned for older or overweight people staying here because the bed is in the loft with a ladder to it. Also the shower is very small. Otherwise it was very cute and we enjoyed our stay!

We stayed in the loft cabin. It was so cute and charming. Kind of a small room and definitely no more than two people. The decor was just adorable and the tub was the right fit for the tiny cabin. Had a restful sleep and enjoyed a very delicious breakfast the next morning. The staff was very attentive and friendly. They go out of their way to make sure you are happy. There’s a small western themed “town” at the back of the property and I can only imagine how cute a wedding would be here. Beautiful water features also available on the property. Definitely recommend and would go back.

The house had an odd smell that never went away. The shower is tiny and if you are male you will absolutely hate the tiny round toilet. I had said quite frequently that later on in life sell my home and live in a tiny house, I have definitely changed my mind.

Incredibly disappointed. We attended a wedding there and thought it would be nice to stay on site. The room had obviously not been vacuumed, dusted or had the trash taken out prior to our arrival, which made us question what else they had not properly cleaned. Then after the wedding we notice make-up on the rags, which made us question whether the linens had been cleaned.

The cabin we stayed in had some ants in it. Not terrible but had to get them out of the bed. Otherwise nice stay. Not as far out in the country as it appears but it was nice that they had a theme and amenities onsite.

Thirty minutes after arriving had two bug bites, later while in the restroom found two fleas on my foot. No shower, bathup/jacuzzi was dirty, especially water jets. No body wash in soap dispenser, thankfully, i had packed a travel bottle. Toliet paper was tearing as i pulled off the roll, not to mention when i tried to wipe myself. Floor was not swept correctly, pulled hair off comforter. I thought for the price i was paying i was going to be somewhere nice and safe, instead kept hearing until the morning an animal scratching through the wall trying to come in. Left way before check out time. Very unhappy.

Lady at cafe called owner or manager of premises and was told they were unable to contact person who was responsible for gate and told her for me to park off property.

Wonderful place in a quiet little neighborhood. Loved the sound of roosters nearby and birds in the morning. Reminded my of my grandma's place.

So close to home but felt miles away as if we went to a cabin in the country

What a fun and interesting place to stay! We felt so lucky to find this charming B&B just outside Houston. We had only 1 night and our friends from Sweden love Old America. I can't believe we found this place as it was PERFECT. The property was very well maintained, the Owners were helpful and friendly. The Cafe just adorable and food awesome. We were so pleased ~ it made the drive to Houston worth it.

The comforter/duvet cover on the bed was was stained.

The owner was courteous and helpful when I requested items for my room. The one area I was disappointed in was the small size of the B&B rooms and the traffic sound located on a busy street.

After a rocky start it was a wonderful wedding and the room was awesome, thank you for the experience

The hotel itself is set in what can only be described as a period Western movie set. The picture has little to do with anything--the hotel room is spotlessly clean, elegantly done, new, and thought was certainly put into the design. But it is quite odd arriving and wondering what is going on--where is the hotel? Where is the parking? Where is the office? You later realize that their primary income is from weddings, and the rooms go to the bridal party and some guests, and they must make the rooms available to people when there isn't a wedding. The associated restaurant is very good, and unlike the chain style free breakfast, this is a home cooked REAL breakfast of your choice, anything on the menu. Overall, if I wasn't traveling for business, it would've been romantic for my wife and I, and very cool in a quirky way. But as a business traveler, keep in mind that the rooms are on a second floor with no elevator, in a sort of ghost town.

Can't say enough about this place and its staff and owners.

I’ve stayed at a lot of bed and breakfasts and this rates far down on my list after my visit. Other bed and breakfasts will have the room cool and comfortable and the ice bucket filled or will offer to take care of that for you. They will deliver breakfast to your room/cabin. The restaurant got every item on my breakfast order wrong—so much so that I thought they had brought me someone else’s order. The second morning, I read my email, checked Facebook and played two games on my iPad waiting for the food and finally had to leave without eating in order to make it to my appointment on time. There was virtually so real service offered. Just check in, here’s your room code and WiFi login and see you later. Not even a guide for the television channels. It’s such a beautiful place and has so much to offer, but they just don’t deliver on the service.

Stayed in the Sunlit Rose Suite and found it very warm and welcoming. Nice comfortable bed and sitting area. the private porch and stained glass window add a nice touch. The complimentary breakfast at the on site cafe/tea room was great. Would definitely return again.

Enjoyed staying in the little cabins. I like that they were made from reclaimed wood. I can see why brides would like to have their wedding there.

Room was very clean and the massage we paid for was really good! Loved the breakfast that we had in the morning as well!

All the staff was nice and always checking to see if I needed anything.

Honestly, we visited Houston BECAUSE of this tiny house. I have seen so much on HGTV about tiny houses and I just had to experience one! The Victorian Tulip was just lovely...wood interiors, cathedral ceiling, large bathroom including claw foot tub, stained glass windows. The grounds had a pathway to a pond and an old western town including a lovely chapel. Pasadena is just a few minutes from Johnson Space Center and Kima and has many restaurants to offer without going into Houston proper. I would definitely visit this bed and breakfast again, but maybe next time I would try out one of the King size rooms instead of tiny house (at least now I know I'm not up for tiny house living as an EVERYDAY affair). This would be a lovely destination wedding site or family reunion location...the chapel, a banquet room served by the onsite restaurant, 3 tiny houses, 3 or 4 hotel rooms, picturesque setting, WONDERFUL breakfast at the restaurant.

I loved the small cabins !!! Everything was great except for the room was not ready for a new guest . Let's just say I Walked in with trash from the previous guest.. I was not a happy camper and room had a funk smell so I'm sure that was because of all the trash left. I hope to visit again and try a different cabin next time .

We loved our stay at the Silver Sycamore! It was relaxing and the breakfast was amazing. We enjoyed every moment there and planning to hopefully go back soon. We are definitely going back for the food. Their burger was truly BEST in TOWN.
