Terrible experience at this property. The rooms were dirty and smelled awful. My stay was from Friday to Tuesday, but I had to leave and find a different hotel nearby. I explained the reasons to the manager, but they refused to refund my money. A terrible experience; I do not recommend it.

They say pet friendly but if you book online it doesn’t tell you when you get to the property that it’s $75 non refundable pet fee. No where in my paper work stated that. But it was ether pay it or lose the room and have to try to book somewhere else. They had black hair in the bathroom. On the floor and in the shower. The beds were clean but pillows were. Very firm. It is spacious and plenty of room but the hidden fees. They make me not want to return.

I loved that it had great parking security and i could sleep with confidence of no break ins. The staff was excellent very courteous welcoming and accomidating.

Both the bathroom sink and kitchen sink is not drain . The faucet is not install the right way. The floor entry is dirty and we have to clean ourselves for the boy to play. We are not happy at all. We do not got the receipt and look like we got charge more than we book at the price we supposed to be charged.

Our room was not ready when we arrived at 2:50. Was informed it would not be ready for another 30-45 minutes. Did NOT want to wait, had to ask for a different room. Ask for a room near the elevator. Had continued problems with the door lock, which was annoying. The room was quiet. The beds were comfortable as long as I didn’t sleep on the side near the end table. That side sank down into the middle of the bed. The bathroom and room itself was clean. The kitchen area was nice, but there was no dish rag or hand towel to wash the few dishes that were dirty. Had to run the dishwasher. The main concern for cleanliness was that the flooring in the room entry and kitchen area was absolutely FILTHY! I took a clean wash rag and wiped along the floor. The rag was disgustingly dirty. When we left, I presented the rag to the associate at the front desk, suggesting that she let her manager know, just how filthy the floor was.

We enjoyed the A/C and clean room. That was about it. Poor entrance with no alternatives in or out. Also, no complimentary breakfast. Just coffee. Everything else is chargeable to the account. They also do a $50 charge on your card as a profilactive measure, in case of added expenses.

Decent hotel. Nothing special, safe for the area. Large room! Smell, AC was either to cold or not cold enough, not balanced.

Location I woke up with bites on my leg.

Gated. There was a one month error with booking the room. I needed June 23 and had Jul 23 booked. Spent an hour on phone with Booking; I was told to pay for the room on June 23, and my funds would be credited back to me. Candlewood employee also contacted her manager and they agreed. However, after 3 to 4 phone calls with each Candlewood and booking, I was never returned my funds. The room remained empty on July 23.

This hotel was very inviting, The staff was exceptional. The amenities were great. Free washer and dryer for customers. Kitchen in the room with a range of appliances that could be borrowed. If needing a place to stay in Houston again, we will definitely stay here again.

A little concerned about the bathtub in room 414. When you stepped in the bottom would give a little and would make a groaning noise. Also the bottom of the tub is slick, almost fell once. Maybe some safety strips on the bottom. A/C was a little difficult to get the temp just right.

This place should be five stars, but there was a chair in the room that had the cover ripped off - Just take that chair out. All in all very good, I will definitely stay again at this property.

Bathrooms are dirty, they gave me 2 rooms and both bathrooms were dirty, one had hair and the other one the toilet was dirty, I had Clorox wipes and cleaned it myself, after driving 15 hours I just wanted to sleep!

Hotel was quiet enough. It could be a USB A socket in the room. Room didn't smell nice but it was clean though. Location of the hotel is not so convenient.

Staff was very friendly. My issue is we requested a king size bed and was on our reservation. We did not know until after we unloaded our belongings that they put us in either a full or queen size room. Since we were already in we decided to make due. Asked the receptionist about the discrepancy and she looked and said it shows a King size but it was changed just before we arrived and did not know why.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay. My complaint is that I paid for a KING suite and when I got there, the clerk said that they had a family come in before me and they had to switch some things around and therefore, I no longer had a King Suite but a Queen. The dishes were dirty in the room. I was right next to the front desk and it was noisy. The patio was also right outside my window and it was noisy every night til well past 11 so it was difficult to sleep. I had to ask for clean towels. No tv remote.

I love staying here but this last time was the absolute worst. The guests right above me sounded like they were running a daycare. They were running and jumping nonstop! It was so loud I almost thought there was construction going on. I could hear it throughout the room but was worse in the bedroom which caused me not to sleep at all. They really needed to be in a first floor room.

My go-to place when staying in Pasadena for work. My favorite thing is the bedding...great pillows and plenty of them and the softest bedding ever. The full-size refrigerator with ice maker, kitchenette, dishwasher, and in-house sundry store make it very convenient for my business travel.

The downfalls for me: no breakfast, no pool, & only diet drinks were stocked. The people upstairs from us sounded like they were having a bowling party. We did contact the front desk and they made a call upstairs, which seem to fix the issue. Again, the hotel staff was great!!!

Booked my stay for this hotel, with a conformation/ booking Then comes the day i am traveling to my destination, this hotel. I get a call half way there that they are overbooked and only have a single queen bed room for me that is available. I asked what happened to my room, which was paid for, and confirmed. The lady then says im sorry were over booked and this is all we have left. This was unacceptable. I told them to cancel it. Not 2 hours later I get another call from the same hotel, different person, telling me the same thing. That they were over booked and only had x available. I then had the same conversation about paying for and having a conformation #. Told her to cancel it. Seeing how they gave my paid for room away. And the fact that 2 different people called me from the same hotel, tells me they don't communicate within their hotel. And they dont pay attention to confirmed bookings. I would like ny money back for this. I didn't get the room i booked and paid for. I went to another hotel. And had no issues with my booking online. I have never had this problem with Expedia until now. And i will no longer be using this site. Thank you. If i could please get a refund for a room that was sold out from under me that would be GREAT.

I love staying here, the beds are si comfortable. The room is spotless! The kitchen has everything. And the staff are so friendly. There was a lady at the front desk that was in training, she was absolutely delightful, and so was the person training her. This place is my go to when I'm in the area.

Easy and pleasant check-in. Parking in the back was well lit and easy ingress/egress. The room was very clean and comfortable. It is far enough from the road to eliminate road noise. The Air Show was practicing during the day but that meant you git to see jets! Recommended.

Great hotel for our family of 4. Having a full size kitchen was wonderful! The hotel is very conveniently located off the interstate and near restaurants. We stayed here to go to the Wings Over Houston Airshow. The airport is only about 15 minutes away and easy to get to. Highly recommend!

There were hidden deposits I wasn't made aware of. I was coming to the area for a family emergency. I called to double check that my reservation was good and give them a heads up about my dog. I knew about the Dog fee which I was ok with. I asked if there were any deposits that would be taken and they told me no that they just took a card for incidentals. I get there and the Lady at the desk told me there would be a $25 refundable deposit as well as the 75 that I knew about. When I got to my room I had a 50 dollar charge and 2 25 dollars charges. I assumed it was my 75 dollars that i owed plus the deposit. Sunday Morning I had a 75 dollar charge. a 50 dollar charge and 25 dollar charge. I had to scrounge around for gas money to get home. When I mentioned it to the front desk she said that was normal and they don't say anything because they don't know who will get the charges.

We turned off AC for awhile, then had to turn on HEAT to warm the room back up. Finally, my daughter took a shower to get rid of the chill but the water was lukewarm. I paid for two rooms. Early next morning I attempted to shower and again it was only lukewarm so we never showered. I told the front desk I was disappointed I could not get a hot shower after spending nearly $300. He said, "Yeah, I heard about that. I'm sorry." So they are aware the water temp is not acceptable and apparently feel there is no need to fix the issue or credit customers for it. Such a shame! Well first of all we did not have a chance to stay due to tornado hit near by and all power were down so we were unable to check in and top of that we were denied a refund by expedia for some unforseen circumstance that we had no control of.

We reported some cleanliness problems in the room. Loved having a well supplied kitchenette! Access to the facility from the highway is very limited and difficult. Only one driveway in and out from a busy one-way access road.

The room was very comfortable and clean and roomy. I like that the shower had the bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and soap in pump bottles rather than those not so friendly to the ecosystem small sample sized bottles.

The lady in the front was the worst, she was not trying to help at all. Why do you get a job if your not gonna be happy working there.she gave us so many problems to check in that it made me realized why expensive hotels always hold more value.we asked for a manager on the facility and there was no one above her.we will never never stay here again .worst hotel and customer service if she treats everyone like that I would imagine how her life looks like.We had gotten 2 beds she only gave us a room that had 1 bed.over all the worst experience don’t stay here if you want to deal with lazy and un happy workers. Should of yay at home2suites the street.

About 30 min away from Space Center Houston- good location although a little tricky to get there. Very nice staff and great location when it came to watching firework shows throughout the area. Having a kitchenette was a great asset. Room was somewhat dusty but overall fine.

Had a wonderful stay. We were her for a graduation! With us bringing a special cake, the full size freezer was a blessing. Would stay here again.

Pest concerns. No room service. Have to ask for fresh towels. Not an enjoyable stay

All of the front decks clerics have been wonderful I’m here for five weeks training and they’ve made my time here very very comfortable great service location is also great

It was a nice and clean hotel. Very nice customer service.

There was a LOT of noise and we could hear someone walking/running in the halls and room above us until after midnight. We did not sleep well because of this. Don’t know if the walls or floors are thin, but we will not be back to this property.

I checked out of the hotel one day early. Expedia assured me I would get a refund for that day. The hotel denied it. Wasted money for one day.

Excellent property and rooms! Will most definitely consider Candlewood hotels from here on out when booking if they are all as nice as Pasadena, Tx.

We always enjoy staying at this Candlewood location, when we come to Pasadena. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Our room is always clean and comfortable.
