Reviews
The hotel has a convenient location with easy access to public transportation and dining options. However, the cleanliness of the rooms and the quality of the breakfast are major concerns for many guests. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, but the hotel's facilities and services do not meet the expectations of a 3-star hotel.
- Convenient location

Very reasonable hotel/motel on the southeast side of old town Pasadena. They are in the process of remodeling right now. My room was remodeled and was in excellent shape. They are redoing or installing a pool right now. There is no breakfast at this time but apparently they’ve had it in the past. You are within walking distance of some good restaurants and a Whole Foods market. Parking onsite including an underground garage which I didn’t use since my room was on the ground floor with a parking space right in front of it. The area felt fairly safe and I walked around plenty
- 4/5
In defense of the property there was a major renovation demolition project going on when I stayed there which caused a huge mess everywhere and shut down many parking spots and dirt and debris was everywhere. Jackhammer work started at 8:00 AM. Comfortable room with a great bed and good shower pressure and plenty hot water. Wanted to walk to the convention center but was too far for me. Overall it was a good stay but would rather be in walking distance to the Convention center.

This was by far the worst stay we had and will NOT be coming back. The room was once again dirty all over the place, the floors weren't covered in things this time, but every surface was still dirty and turned all our disinfection wipes brown. When I turned on the AC, after checking the filter which was thankfully clean, a plume of plaster powder wafted out all over me and my bed. My partner has asthma and this was a big concern and dangerous. They had clearly recently remodeled things in the room but hadn't cleaned up the plaster dust from most if not all surfaces. If they don't clean the basics, why should I assume they cleaned anything else? They were remodeling the pool and we were told it wouldn't happen during the weekend, it did. Blaringly loud. And of course the main reason we came, the stunning breakfast spread they put on, was not at all available. Said it was on the website, not when i was booking or I wouldn't have bothered. Terrible time, will not come back, wasn't worth the price jacked up because of the event nearby which is why we had come as well. The staff was a dream but that's meaningless when I'm sleeping in a dirty room on a rock hard bed with no breakfast to look forward to and save a bit of money on. I don't recommend this place, it's been filthy two different stays years apart, no improvement and it's only gotten worse. Zero Stars
- 3/5
No coffee machines in the room and the free breakfast wasn’t available because the guest kitchen was being renovated (or removed). No backup toilet paper or tissues in the room and the trash cans were full when I came back, but the constant item seen both days was a reminder to tip the cleaning staff. The wall A/C unit worked well and I was allowed to park for the afternoon after checkout. The front desk was always occupied by a clerk.

A very run down and dirty hotel. There's construction going on so be prepared for early morning jackhammering right outside your room. Everything felt kind of gross. Plus side is that there's free parking and it's a ten minute walk to the convention center, which is where I needed to go.

My only suggestion is that they keep an extra blanket or two in the closet.

Staff and free coffee in the lobby. Construction noise made it almost impossible to sleep. The hotel should not be open with the noise level created by jackhammering and bulldozers. The least they could have done was offer a significant discount and provide complementary ear plugs. I didn't expect they could do anything about the early morning noise from the huge flock of birds, but that just left me with less time to sleep. Also, no water glass or ice bucket was provided in the room, and shades didn't completely block the light at night.

The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. The room was clean and had a working fridge and microwave. No problem with parking. We would stay there again.
- 3/5
The first room we were assigned the door wouldn't lock. The second room the toilet didn't flush. We wound up back in the first room and only had the flip-over privacy lock to lock the door, not very secure. Also, both rooms didn't have towels. The staff was very nice, and the place has been undergoing upgrades. I think it will be a nice place to stay once they pay attention to the details.
- 3/5
The room was in good condition and clean but had an odd smell. There were no curtains so we didn’t get to sleep in. Construction started at 7am. There was less than a half a roll of toilet paper and we had to go the front desk to ask for more.

Great location, great price and value. Property was being upgraded while I stayed there, parking was easy. Got excellent daily housekeeping services which is not available in all hotels in the area. Friendly desk staff went above and beyond!

Rating this hotel three stars as while the staff were friendly and the location was great, unfortunately the hotel itself fell short. The elevator was not available while there was construction going on, and so I had to carry x2 28KG suitcases up a flight of stairs to check in and out. When I got to the room, it had a strong urine smell and so I had to go and buy air freshener to try and get rid of it. There was also an orange stain in the bathtub that wouldn’t go away. Rooms were revamped and had amenities including microwave, fridge, ironing board, hairdryer etc.
- 3/5
The first time we stayed was better but this second time was disappointing because of new management changes, like no more breakfast. Unfortunately we won't stay at this location any longer moving forward.

Location Pool was closed without notice. Breakfast was closed without notice. We booked to use the pool and have the connivence of not needing to search for breakfast in the morning with kids. At check-in we were informed neither was open. Fridge had mold in it. Everything was kind of clean but not fully. No parking due to construction. Paid $211 for one night for no amenities and a dirty room without any notice. Kids were mad. Was not a good trip. Overpaid. Was not worth it.

Good location. Decent bedding. The mini fridge was open and leaking water when i checked in. There were towels just laid out around it to soak up water. Could also hear the other rooms theough the wall as if there were no walls. Checkout was a nightmare as they couldnt find my payment history from when I checked in somehow and had to call a manager for twenty minutes. Dont know why I even bothered letting them know I was checking out.

It looked like ravinous racoons had taken over the lobby at breakfast. They were out of go go juice by 9 AM, and the staff looked well over life when asked about. Pay the extra 100 to stay somewhere else, oh and I think some almost bled to death in my room.
- 2.5/5
The staff was nice, the room was clean. The sink didn’t drain at all. The bathroom faucet was broken, there was foil on it and it took like 10 minutes to jiggle the knob to turn the shower on.
- 4/5
Breakfast only bagel and small muffin and to go cereals only 😰
- 3.5/5
Needed a comfortable bed for the night because I had an early work day in the area and greentree inn really fit the bill! I got a full 9 hours of sleep which I don't even get at home most of the time - very clean and comfortable for the price. the lights in the hallways outside are flickering and kind of spooky tbh but I didn't spend much time there so it was sort of irrelevant
- 3/5
Room was mostly clean but the floors were not. After walking on the floor with wet feet I made black foot prints on the white bath mat. The breakfast was nothing like the description on the web. There was no hot food.
- 4/5
It was decently priced
- 3/5
Bathroom paint seemed unfinished. Wall on opposite side of bathroom looked like had REALLY bad water leak that wasn't repaired right, just painted over. I stayed 3 days and maid service never brought more towels/rags even after asking front desk for that to happen. To top it off the floors were so bad they made feet almost black after using the shower. Not to mention the shower head really sucked because it only had about 4 or 5 holes for water to come out of. Last but not least the sink drain was busted and couldnt plug to fill sink. It felt like all they did was slap lipstick on a pig. When mentioned all said issues all i got was "I'm sorry, were in process of changing owners" Ive heard that line before from other places ive stayed at when i mentioned an issue. They did offer to change rooms but i was tired, already had stuff in room and my kid with me so I didn't wanna deal with moving my stuff again. Besides ive stayed in worst. Only real positive to my room i saw was the AC worked pretty good. So they have that going for them i guess.
- 3/5
Everything was great, but our AC did not seem to work too well. It took a while for it to get cold in the room
- 3.5/5
Location, free parking Our first room had mold in the shower and the room smelled weird. I asked for a new room and the shower was clean and everything was much better. There was no breakfast room but they did have grab and go coffee & limited food in the lobby.

Its location was close to the hospital where my mother was in for brain surgery. There was mold in the bathroom, the appliances in the main room were leaking water, tv was cutting in n out, and lights weren’t working in the led bathroom mirror. Did not end up the night due to these conditions. No service and still charged a service fee.
- 4/5
Staff in the lobby are super nice and attentive. Some hiccups with the electrical in the room but managed. Room was clean and plenty of towels.

This hotel has really slipped downward. Toilets run constantly, rooms smell like urine, repairs are shoddy, and the place feels greasy and filthy. We have gone there for years, but will NOT stay there again.

The GreenTree is a short pleasant walk to Old Town. Room surprisingly big, and clean. Biggest fridge I've seen in a hotel room, even including a little freezer that can accommodate two to four frozen Trader Joe's dinners (or Whole Foods, which is just a block away). I liked being able to get raisin bran, apples, or bagels (or popcorn!) in the lobby whenever I wanted. The evening front desk manager was very friendly and helpful, easily bumping the rating to a 9 all by himself. Some of the old plastic finishes were worn and blistered. Though the room was very quiet, when the wind hit just right it made an odd whistling noise--no biggie! Took a moment to realize the shower mechanism was incorporated into the bathtub faucet. As far as I could tell, local broadcast channels were not included on the TV package, so I watched the Olympics on my laptop.

Façad and cleanliness, the place is like putting makeup on a pig. But this is perfect for a last minute stay, the amenities are nice, and I felt relatively safe as a woman travelling alone. Decent number of channels, grab and go breakfast is perfect, but the cleaning is like when a man has you over for the first time. He did his best but you can see the spots

Fixed later in the evening. Shower drain clogged due to hair. Complex reeked of cannabis in the evening hours. Not recommended at all. No compensation offered for any of the inconveniences.

The location was really good and quiet. The room was comfortable with a working shower, bathroom and TV, plus a mini fridge and iron board. They did have a small pool and parking free. For the price, it was safe and pretty clean. The free breakfast was cold cereal and bagels, but coffee was good. No chairs to sit and TV not on. Its right in the lobby, so could be better. The staff was helpful, but no place to sit around pool either. Check in a little tight, but parking down below.

. The bed feels like a king sized mattress placed on a queen size frame which makes the bed flipping out on both side of the bed. The window shade is damaged and one of the drawers is missing on the left side and even found a sock left behind on right drawer. It shows the room was cleaned properly before my stay The photo online made the hotel and rooms appear much nicer than what I walk into. Unfortunately the actual doesn’t match the advertisement. I also read the reviews from 1-3 years ago and nothing has improved ever since. I also read their reaction to those review with word “we are strive to improve” but nothing has changed ever since. We do not recommend anyone to book this hotel.

Even on the first night I wasn't happy with the cleanliness. The stained bath, weird smell in the room and brown stains between the shower tiles. I requested an early checkout, but neither Ebookers nor Greentree agreed. I bought my own sheets, towel and slippers and toughed it out. Lesson learned. Won't be back. PS On the plus side; Good location, solid wifi and free parking.

Good location and comfortable beds but also some unprofessional touches, like a coffee maker stacked on a microwave stacked on a refrigerator sending three electrical cords to only two outlets -- which appear to have blown a fuse causing the non-functioning refrigerator to leak water on the floor. Also the breakfast service didn't anticipate a sold-out hotel on a Sunday morning and ran out of everything. They also have The Epoch Times in the waiting room, which is kinda creepy if you know The Epoch Times story. Staff is friendly if not exactly buttoned-up.

They also have The Epoch Times in the waiting room, which is kinda creepy if you know The Epoch Times story. Staff is friendly if not exactly buttoned-up.

Parking was great! Staff was nice and easy to talk to. Breakfast ended earlier than I personally would have liked, but I'm not normally awake before 9am. Great location and decent pricing. Felt safe, had nearby food locations for restaurants and grocery locations. Overall a good place to stay- would go here again!

Basically, the only problem I had was the food was cold. Potatoes were not warm. The eggs were not the warmest either. They also ran out of waffle mix and syrup. But I will say I am very much like the property itself. And everybody you have work in there are amazing very helpful with any questions you may have and always had a smile.

The price of this property is vastly unequal to the quality of the property. "security" for the pool was to reach through a fence and turn the handle from the inside. The window shades were tattered and shredded; there were no drapes. The toilet paper roll fell off the holder which swung back and forth on the wall. The staff were very helpful but the state of the property is such that we will not stay there again, despite the good location.

We stayed 2 nights. Our corner room was very spacious with a fridge and microwave. Free parking was handy as the location is conveniently walkable to Old Town. Housekeeping must be upon request as our room was not cleaned while we were out. This was okay for us as we asked for fresh towels. We would definitely stay here again.

Staff were friendly but not equipped to deal with people checking in. Lobby was full of people waiting and using the pool and a line quickly grew out the door. I was given keys to a room that wasn’t ready, then a key that didn’t work and had to cut through the crowd each time. Room was comfortable and quiet but was in need of a serious upgrade. Bathroom door squeaked loudly and wouldn’t close. Had to use a shoe as a door stop. Moulding in bathroom was falling off, exposing mold.

This place is not what the pictures make it seem. We couldn’t check in at 2p bc it was early which was fine but we got back at 4pm had to wait 46 minutes to be given the room keys. The room with two queens wasn’t clean yet. We had 5 people check in after us with single beds. It was just chaos. The blind was torn and has duct tape, food packets in the drawer, and cutlery. The grout and drain were disgusting in the restroom. The floors were dirty all outside and in the halls. It needed to be vacuumed. This place needs an overhaul.

There was a pool. The bed was nice and clean. The rooms seemed half way updated with a microwave, fridge and coffee maker. However there was gum stuck to the side of my nightstand that wasn’t cleaned, the trim in the bathroom was coming off, the electrical strip on the side of the bed was loose and the toiletries in the shower seemed watered down. The breakfast was left to be desired and the room where it was had maintenance issues as well, like the cupboards were hanging off the hinge in places. We were there for 2 nights for a concert. It is in a great walkable location. I give it 3 stars for the maintenance issues and lack of attention to detail with updates. However the staff was very personable and friendly. There is a wholefoods accross the street where we ended up getting our coffee and breakfast. Despite the 3 stars, I didn’t feel dirty. I would stay here again, especially if there was another rose bowl event. It was just a bit pricey for the 3 stars, could have been because of the event.

Hotel was convenient, clean, spacious and affordable. Staff was helpful and the included breakfast was nice to have (nothing fancy but the basics were covered). Short walk to a variety of places. We stayed for 1 night only as we were seeing a show at the Rose bowl and didn't want to drive back to Los Angeles with the 60-80k crowd. Met all of our needs.

Our room door had a dent in it as if someone tried breaking in. Inside the blind were ripped, the room looked dirty, the dresser handle had what looked like dried blood that stained my hand when I tried to open it. The molding was coming off, the mini fridge door also had a dent as if someone hit it hard. And last but not least... BED BUGSSSSS. By far the worst room I habe booked. Save your time, money, and sanity by not booking a room here.

I appreciated the updated furniture and bathroom counter/sink...the bed was very comfortable...I loved the Luxury-Vinyl floors (as opposed to gross carpet)...and the pool was awesome! Jennifer at the front desk was super when I arrived earlier than check in, and let me leave my suitcase and gave great directions to some close by coffee shops. Overall it was a great little stay. the window pull-down blind was tacky and old but otherwise everything was great! Oh, and breakfast was very nice as well! Loved the breakfast room!

This isn't a bad hotel but the pool was closed without apology, and yet we were still charged the 'resort' fee of 12 dollars, which is supposedly for extra facilities like the pool and the wifi. We weren't offered a wifi password on entry, only finding out you just had to ask after it was too late, and we also were unaware there was a free grab and go breakfast, so communication isn't great.
- 5/5
The front desk check in clerk was very polite, attentive and professional and well presented.
- 2/5
I stayed here over the weekend and was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the hotel. My room was not clean upon arrival, I found salt and hair on the sheets, and the floors hadn’t been cleaned. I asked to change rooms, but the other rooms were just as dirty or worse. Common areas like the stairs were also neglected. The breakfast was minimal, ran out quickly, and had very limited seating. I didn’t use the pool because I doubted the overall cleanliness of the place. The only positives were the friendly staff and the safe location, but unfortunately, these don’t make up for how unhygienic the hotel felt, especially considering the high price per night. Cleanliness should be a basic standard. I would not stay here again.
- 1/5
The staff was unhelpful and dismissive from the start. Every reasonable request was met with a hard “no.” The property itself was in horrendous condition: the common areas, rooms, and even the parking lot were filthy. Mold, urine odors, broken toilets, burned-out outlets, and dim lighting were the norm. Our room had stained sheets and towels, so we bought our own from Walmart and threw them away after the stay The complimentary breakfast was a health hazard: dirty serving areas, reused utensils, overflowing trash, and barely warm powdered eggs and fake meat. Even the coffee was watered down. The pool? Disgusting—filled with floating trash, articles of clothing, and even a shoe at the bottom. Only one dirty table, and clearly not maintained or treated. The hotel’s “policies” seemed to change at random depending on who you spoke to. Ice was only available by request at the front desk, but staff frequently refused, saying they were “too busy.” Overall, this place was unsanitary, mismanaged, and downright bad.
- 3/5
The location was convenient since there is a train station, and Whole Foods and Trader Joes within two blocks. Our room was very spacious for 4 people, but had a strong musty smell (likely from the AC unit). However if we kept the windows open, it would be loud from people walking by or cars on the street.
- 5/5
We stay at this hotel every summer! We love the Green Tree!!! So close to the metro line and Whole Foods right across the street! Awesome!!!!
- 3/5
This hotel served its purpose. The bed was comfortable and the front desk was friendly and competent. Though the pictures look fun- the hotel itself is just so-so. Plus's: free parking, breakfast included (but we didn't partake so no feedback there), the bed was very comfortable. It's a no frills, stripped down place. I'd go again if I had to, but would prefer to find something a bit nicer.
- 3/5
When I arrived for check in the staff wasn’t ready for us , but the next day there was a different person and she was great, the pool was closed by a inspector , the elevator was pretty old , but the room had great space the beds and room where nice and clean, except for the bathroom it needed deep cleaning, but had free parking
- 5/5
Very impressed, clean and comfortable room, also the property is beautiful and situated on a good area
- 4/5
Although the room was clean, updated and quite comfortable, the inn is understaffed. It took several attempts to get a staff person to attend to something that needed fixed. At checkout, there was no one at the desk to serve the many waiting customers who needed to check out. If they can’t have enough staff for this purpose they should have a virtual or contact-less system.

- 5/5
Great value hotel in Pasadena. Met expectations. Very clean and in a great location.
- 4/5
The room itself was very nice and clean, parking was easy and convenient, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast options were very limited though and often out of items even though I got there on the earlier end each day. I also would have preferred more frequent room cleaning.

staff was great the bathroom had mold damage on the floorboards.
- 4/5
weekends hot foods same thing -out for later guests.( some days there is fruit other days nothing ( very inconsistent ) we love location and staff … the rooms are spacious clean ( you need to request room service if you want it) parking is excellent
- 4/5
All in all everything was good. The breakfast was sub par. Ran out of coffee and juice. Had to reheat food in microwave. The room was good, missing a toile paper roller. I know it might sound petty but could have been better. We would stay again.
- 5/5
The bread the bed was very nice I like the the clerk and it was all right
- 2/5
The property was under-maintained. Many room items were either damaged or didn't work. As a result we had to change rooms 3 times until we were satisfied.
- 4/5
The room was nice but on my last day they did not have breakfast like they advertise in their website. I ask in lobby where's breakfast and all I got was sorry we're short staff so no breakfast today.
- 5/5
The quietness of the area was super nice.
- 2/5
Liked the person at the desk...courteous, professional. The room was dusty with bits of paper on the floor, the bed end table had spill marks that had not been wiped, the bed was wrinkled (as though the sheets had not been replaced, the tub was full of dust and the sheets and towels smelled moldy/dusty (not fresh). I will not stay there again.

Good place to stay.
- 1/5
The bathroom was disgusting and filled with mold and soap grime. There were scuffs all over the place and we even found trash (and a loose sock) under the couch. The couch and ottoman were stained and one of the couch cushions obviously did not belong. The heater was broken and the maintenance guy was unavailable at first and then unhelpful the next day, as he did nothing to fix the problem. He did say we were supposed to have a remote for the AC/heater, which we did not have. The TV remote’s battery needed to be replaced as it almost died and was barely usable. The walls and ceilings are VERY thin and we would hear all our VERY VERY loud upstairs neighbors. The window shutters do not close all the way. The “duvet” cover was just a thin polyester fleece blanket covered in one top sheet. We were so cold because of the broken heater that we had to ask for 2 blankets each, one of which was a plastic-y hospital blanket. The fitted sheet was just a top sheet that was very thin and became loose and untucked very very easily. They automatically charge a service fee for each day, even though housekeeping does not come for 3 days (unless specifically asked) and our stay was 3 nights.
- 1/5
Not happy with my stay. Ended up leaving a few minutes after check in.
- 2/5
We needed a spot to stay as we were driving through. We basically needed a spot to sleep, shower and leave. Staff was great. Location was great. Staff who clean it clean as best as they can. What was gross was the lack of up keep in the bathroom. Yellow low lighting to try to hide the moldy calk. It was gross and I did not shower there. This may have been my room only??? Parking underground looked scary but it’s a safe neighborhood. They had breakfast and coffee in the morning and people were eating and relaxing.
- 5/5
The room was very clean and we would return next time we are in the area.
- 1/5
Internet would switch off several times and the staff does not know how to get it back. On two days it was not there for almost ,5-6 hours. I told the front desk about a choked sink immediately after I checked in. Gave two reminders. But it was not fixed for 6 days. All that the staff knows is to say - I am so sorry. Very clean and quite room.
- 3/5
It was an ok place to stay.
- 5/5
Great place for the price. Are the rooms top notch? No. Were they clean? Absolutely. There were some things in my room that needed repair but it was not integral to the quality of my stay. Again, I got what I paid for and was satisfied. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Easy check in/check out. Walkable food options in multiple price ranges. Light rail to anywhere just two blocks away. The area is great to walk and explore. I plan to come back to Pasadena and I'll probably be back to this hotel.
- 3/5
Nothing
- 3/5
Not great. The plumbing was so loud when someone in another room was showering or flushed the toilet. Elevator did not work.
- 4/5
Overall, the stay was very good. Room was spacious and clean. There were a couple of nits. One -- the room has some built in USB ports -- however, for the room I was in, they did not work. There was also a lamp on the desk that did not appear to have an on/off switch. The only way to turn it off -- you had to unplug it. Lastly, the breakfast area was in an open air area. Which could be a little cold in the morning. All minor nits -- but overall a pleasant stay.
- 1/5
The staff was nice. However, they delayed our check in by an hour due to lack of house keepers.
- 4/5
Perfect location that met my needs
- 4/5
Other than that we would stay again because of the free parking and free breakfast. The staff were also very warm and welcoming. Anything we asked for they were happy and eager to assist.
- 3/5
The 2nd office employee we encountered was awesome. The room was a bit run down. The king mattress was on a smaller box spring so the mattress hung off the end and one side. There was hairs(not ours) all over the AC and the sheets and blankets. Breakfast was a bit lackluster. Juices were out early and not refilled. Eggs were lacking much flavor. Buiscuits and gravy were not very flavorful either.
- 5/5
Great place to stay at
- 2/5
Nice people. That's all that was nice. Dirty curtains with brown stains, ripped sheets, broken shower nozzle, uneven floors with cheap linoleum.
- 5/5
The dining options around the area were really amazing. The staff was very sweet and told us that they were still cleaning the rooms, so I know for a fact that everything was throughly cleaned when I entered my room. The breakfast was very convenient and very good. If I were to ever stay in California again, this hotel is it.
- 2/5
Lights in bathroom didn’t work, blankets were thin, no carpet floors made everything noisy and less comfortable
- 3/5
I like the room is clean. The television options are limited. The drain in the tub is slow.
- 4/5
I received an email several hours prior to my arrival asking if I need anything, let them know. My reply was never responded to. Must not of been an actual message, more like it was an automated message to all guests. Late night check in, exhausted from traveling, was a bit disappointed credit card machines weren’t functioning. Almost couldn’t get in my room without posting the $100 deposit
- 5/5
I loved the breakfast!
- 3/5
A few issues with room, moved to another the next day.
- 3/5

- 5/5
The check-in attendant was very friendly and nice
- 5/5
Great rooms, nice breakfast, parking complimentary!
- 1/5
BEWARE. They charged me an extra $10 “services” fee. Then another $2 taxes on that fee. They did not disclose that until I checked in and read a flier on the counter top. There was no explanation for what it covered. The flier said this was not included in 3rd party booking platforms. This is a. Bad indicator.
- 3/5
Ice machine didn’t work and hot water was not hot
- 1/5
The rooms were dirty, the pool was digusting and the breakfast facility was a joke!
- 5/5
Very chill vibe
- 1/5
Room was dirty. The park and surrounding area littered with homeless people.
- 4/5
The room was very big and it was clean. Beds comfortable. Very convenient because we could walk to the Rose Bowl parade and game from the hotel. Couple of nice restaurants nearby. The only complaint would be breakfast. Not good at all. That would have been a bonus but I was hoping to at least get a cup of coffee. One day there was none at all and the other day it ran out. Just 2 containers and with a lot of people around, there should have been someone there checking often. Staff was very nice
- 4/5
The hair dryer was missing and so was the couch. But other than that it is good.
- 4/5
The complimentary Breakfast was good and had a huge variety of breakfast. For the price of a one night stay I would recommend and stay again to the Green Tree Pasedena Inn.
- 4/5
Good free breakfast!

Had made reservations on New Years Day and arrived at 9:30 to check in which of course is early. Room wasn’t ready and we couldn’t check in at all, said to come back later. Needed to use a restroom which they didn’t have, had no idea where we catch the shuttle to the Rose Bowl which they originally gave us info for. Came back in the evening to check in around 8:30 and they didn’t have a room for us. Told us to go find a room down the street! Told me I wouldn’t be charged, which I was and now I’m dealing with getting the money back. Had nowhere to stay and not in the condition to be driving around which is why we booked the room in the first place!
- 5/5
This hotel was by no means a fancy hotel but for the price and location is does the job. The gentleman who was working the front desk was doing an amazing job trying to fix people problems and helping everyone while doing it all on his own! Happy to have stayed here and would again.
- 1/5
We arrived at the property at around 7:30PM after a long day of travel. We had a reservation for 3 people with two separate beds (which the front desk confirmed). When we arrived, they did not have any rooms left with 2 separate beds (due to a computer "snafu"). They said they would cancel the reservation and we could find another hotel. This was the evening of the Rose Bowl and we were left scrambling for lodging at the last minute. To be clear, they were charging us over $500 for this room and it is completely unacceptable for them to do this to us. They had our contact information but at no point during the day did they contact us regarding their not having a room for us.
- 2/5
The hotel made a ton of money for those few days. Providing a better continental breakfast and making sure vending machines were stocked (couldn’t get bottled water anywhere) would have been appreciated. We definitely would not recommend staying here.
- 2/5
This place needs a tear down and replacement. No food for breakfast. No coffee in the air pots for breakfast. Every surface is worn, dysfunctional or broken. No management. They did get our reservation correct all though several people in font of us were turned away with no room on the busiest night of the year (New Years Eve). I could go on.
- 5/5
Good breakfast and location
- 5/5
Only one suggestion is the room should have a desk lamp for the desk. Overall, I love this hotel and highly recommend to everyone.
- 5/5
Easy clean
- 5/5
Recommend having closed dining area, especially during cold weather. If that is not an option, definitely need several heater units around patio.

In recent years it has become a dump.
