    One of the best hotel lobbies I have seen- Places to lounge, divided spaces to work, a conference table and two large screen televisions (set on silent) - with the world cup games highlights the weekend I was there; the breakfast was amazing - some of the best chilequiles I have had anywhere! Great location as well walking distance - a few blocks to all the Pasadena Old Town shops and restaurants!

    I was very disappointed in this hotel. It was worn out and dirty. The sink had a sour smell, and the carpets were worn out. It was equal to a cheap motel. There is a $40/day parking fee, which you learn only when checking in. For the extra charge for parking, I could have stayed at a better/upgraded hotel like the Hyatt. Very sad.

    The room appeared clean but when I prepared to put my socks on after being barefooted, I realized that the carpet and floors were dirty even. Though they looked clean. The refresh also didn’t wipe off the dirty table. The hand towels are very thin and instantly quite wet after one use and bathroom tissue is poor quality. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location is very convenient. We have stayed here many times and are generally quite good pleased.

    The line wait to get on the shuttle to go back afterwards is significant but it was still worth it. Very good food choices in the vicinity. Highly recommend Prince Street Pizza for dinner/late night eats and then Russell’s for breakfast/brunch!

    The parking lot is OK - the stair well was not well maintained. There's also a daily $40 fee to park your car in the parking structure. Given how much the rooms already cost, I feel is too much. The parking structure is nothing special; average; not entirely secure. Anyone can enter the parking structure from the street. Breakfast is not included. There is a bar; looks nice, we didn't use it. The staff was nice and welcoming. I'd stay there again.

    Hotel location is very good. Place is relatively clean. However, there are signs of poor management. 1. Check in staff was not friendly at all. No greetings. Nothing. 2. Housekeeping staff knocked early in the morning. Asked them to come back in an hour but they never did. No room cleaning, no change of towels. 3. I reserved 2 rooms since I was traveling with family. Check in 4pm and couldn’t even get the 2 rooms on the same floor. 4. I had late check out and when I returned after lunch at 1pm, my room keys didn’t work anymore and had to go back to lobby to fix the key-just so inconvenient. 5. Bed mattresses too soft. Time for new ones. 6. No perks for platinum elite members. Disappointing.

    Parking is $40 per night, with no other options. Parking card didn’t work, so had to call HELP each time entering the parking garage. Staff signing us in was rude and acted like she hated doing her job. The refrigerator didn’t work. The phone wouldn’t call the front desk. I had to call from my phone to order towels and have the trash removed because housekeeping didn’t show up once during a 4 day/3 night stay. The room was filthy. Our socks were black from walking around the room. The mattresses and pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. The bed sheets were even pulled tight to the corners of the bed. Couldn’t get them to stay on the mattress. A/C sounded like a locomotive! The ONLY time we were able to enjoy ourselves was at the pool, once we walked through the restaurant and bar in our swimsuits to get to it!

    Our room was only adequate, but definitely more like a 2-star hotel not 4. The bathroom door- heavy, awkward, wouldn't shut. Only one light & light switch between two queen beds. Only one coffee packet provided. $40 for one night parking is expensive.

    Everything was great! From a smooth check-in, to a clean room, to a safe and relaxing neighborhood. My only complaint is that their toilet soul literally gurgle like it was flushing all day and night! It was loud and distracting; all for no reason either. It would splash the water so hard that the toilet seat would be wet after the gurgle. Very inconvenient and unsanitary. Would be a straight 5 star if not for that.

    The hotel itself was great. My only issue was the printer; I called ahead and was told there was printer access 24/7, but the printer was very hard to connect to and when I finally did, it told me there was a problem with the drive. Luckily, the staff at reception allowed me to email them what I needed printed and print it directly, but it was about a 45 minute ordeal.

    our room had no clock, no bathroom ventilation fan,no drawers, a view of three roofs that looked like war torn Ukraine , and terrible coffee ! No shelves in bathroom. this was as stripped down an experience as I have ever had. shocking for a marriott.parking was $40 per night and we got stuck inside and had to call to get out when the gate would not work.

    I'm very disappointed in the dishonesty of this hotel. When we arrived the person checking us in gave us a parking pass along with our room keys. I informed him we had pets so I signed the pet fee waiver. The parking pass had no information to imply the parking wasnt included nor were we told when we checked in that it would be an add on (unlike the pet fee which we had to sign for). We went in and out of that lot at least 10 times and did not see any signage. Come to check out we were charged 160$ extra for parking. When I emailed the woman said it was in the fine print but why wasnt there an authorize charge request like with the pet fee or with say room service. You can "fine print" me all you want but its pretty sneaky and dishonest to give your guests a parking pass without informing them of the charge. Even the 4$ bottle of water in the room is clearly stated the price. Also the room we reserved was not available so we had to be downgraded to one with no outdoor space which was annoying because agian we reserved it for our pets. All I'm expecting from a business is transparency. They lable the bottled water, pet fee, room service ect with pricing. Why not parking?

    The check in staff was friendly and very helpful. I got to the hotel a little early and my room wasn’t ready, but they made sure that my Luggage was safe and sound until I could check in. They offered me water and we’re very professional. This location is walking distance to restaurants and shopping in old town Pasadena which I absolutely Love! I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family.

    The breakfast was à la carte and included two cold items and a drink or one hot item and a drink. We didn’t know this the first day and got one of hot and cold item each.     Switched rooms because the toilet was leaking, the air conditioning was finicky, and there was only one caffeinated room coffee. Room service in the next room was spotty as they did not replace an empty Kleenex container and again only left one caffeinated coffee. I would not stay at this hotel again.

    Very nice and comfortable quiet would stay there again our room was on the 6 floor so very quiet for us. We had families on 3 rd said was very loud with drunk people. Room was very big. Only down fall is ni microwave in room had to go downstairs. Also didn't know we had to pay for parking so that was money unexpected for the price we paid to stay. Other then that ok stay

    Great location. Decent facilities including a small gym. Nice courtyard and great area to sit and work When I checked in, nothing was mentioned about deposits or additional charges. The first night my card was charged for almost double the amount reserved. Then it was reversed causing a fraud flag on my credit card. I checked out and the balance was settled but after an hour the hotel contacted me saying there was an outstanding balance. The staff were rude and made out as if I had tired to leave wi the out paying

    The location couldn’t be better and there is affordable $12 a day parking right next to the hotel $35 parking. Weird smell to the sink water and the cakey white soap was cheaper than cheap. The lobby area was modernized and people seemed to enjoy the pool.

    Limited breakfast menu, but very convenient to have breakfast promptly served in the hotel lobby. Hotel is just two short blocks from the Metro line, which made travel to museums downtown and the Disney Concert Hall quick and easy! Staff members were cordial and welcoming!

Apparently it was an ADA room so the sofabed was removed. The facility could not offer another room or a roll-a-way bed. One of my guest needed to sleep on the ground, Management offered a free breakfast but the breakfast was terrible.

    Location is great The rooms were outdated, you could see walls in the bathroom were super dirty and bathtub was old. The sink smelled in the bathroom smelled like faucet. The bed lines were smaller than the bed and kept coming out. The mattress was not comfortable at all. There was no way to regulate the temperature in the room.

The room was clean, it's more for business travel, not for family at all. little fridge can only turn on for 2 hrs, it will turn off after. not cold enough to store some fruits or drinks. It's close to old down town, lots of restaurants to choose from.

    Man we checked in I was in a hurry to make it to the Dodger game. I really didnt trip looking to much at the room number. I remembered he said 40. Dollars a night for parking so was like really dang ! Maybe I missed that. So as im riding in the parking structure I have room 666 on the 6th floor. What hotels really have that # ? So im like no wonder the guy looked at me weird when he handed me that key. We left to Dodger game right after came back and just slept in the room. No big deal after all but when I checked out with the lady she said he should of mentioned it to me first. So yea heads up they charge 40. For parking and they have that room #

    Clean rooms. Incredible staff, helpful and so kind! Pool was beautiful, we enjoyed the hot tub! Restaurant on site was delicious. We ordered a salad and wings one evening! Local restaurants were yummy and within walking. Highly recommend this hotel. Our family enjoyed it!

    I wish I could have given 5 starts but as we were arriving and taking the elevator up to our room a police officer was coming out of the elevator with someone in handcuffs who did not look like they were staying there. Just didn’t feel that safe just some sketchy people in the hotel. Staff was very nice though

    I've chosen to include breakfast, imagining a typical setup with cheap food, but oh my god, this place made a restaurant quality of breakfast hot meals. I'm so glad that I gave it a shot! When we arrived, I expected more welcoming from a front desk staff, but he didn't say much with no explanation of my stay and just handed card keys. Not a great feeling.

    This hotel was clean, updated, and in a great location. It is walkable to all of the shopping and activities in downtown Pasadena. The staff was friendly and professional. Parking is in a safe deck and is very easily accessible from your room as you can park on whichever floor your room is on. Highly recommend!

    The rooms were okay but not great. No drawers or anything to put our stuff away, so we had to live out of our suitcase which was not ideal. The beds were way too soft so we couldn’t get a good night’s sleep. The staff was very nice and the rooms did seem clean. The breakfast was not great - very few options which I thought was odd since they had a full menu for dinner and the dinner was okay. All in all It was not terrible but not great and there are lots of other options in the area so I probably wouldn’t stay there again.

    Despite this assurance, the two nights of parking fees still appeared on my final statement. When I contacted the hotel about this, I was told that the parking charges could not be removed because they are handled by a third-party service. This is confusing and frustrating. If the hotel does not have the ability to waive parking charges, I’m not sure why the front desk initially told me that the fees would be taken care of. The conflicting information caused unnecessary inconvenience and left me feeling misled. I would appreciate clarification and a resolution, as well as improved consistency in communication between front desk staff and billing policies.

    The bathroom was also without any shelving for clothes or other items when showering. The toilet sat in a corner with only the toilet paper holder nearby. A grab bar should be near to assist people when they sit and when they rise. Now there is nothing to help a person balance properly. The room had a small frig but no microwave, and the coffee choice was really bad, actually awful.

    I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and modern feel of our King Suite and connecting room. We were also able to reach the parking lot from our floor without having to go downstairs and outside. Parking is an etra $35.00 but totally worth it, especially if you've forgotten something in your car and need to go get it. Thanks for the hospitality at the Pasadena Old Town Courtyard Marriott!

    Here for a show at the Rose Bowl and these guys were not at all prepared for the volume of people they had arrive. Lines snaking around the lobby, 1 hour plus to check in, lots of irate people. Once we got in the room fixtures were broken, TV didnt work etc. Staff were totally nice and I sympathize with them but for a $600+ stay for one night, I hoped the basics would be covered.

    Great Job!! To Dominic the bartender and the night cook who went out of his way to may a flatbread pizza for my sister in law. Dominic was very friendly guy to talk too. But very busy after concerts. God bless his soul he was extremely busy that night after concert. We will stay there again in the future!! Great location for downtown . Just loved it !!

    This hotel needs to know about big events. They need to staff up an not have people wait 20+ minutes in the lobby to check in at 1AM!!!! Next time i would suggest security, The amout of theft i witnessed in the lobby was insane

    Hotel was utterly unprepared. They were very nice but not enough staff and our carpet was wet and you could not walk in your bare feet in your room or your feet were black. So disappointing and check in was a nightmare as we arrived hours before just to be safe.

    The first night when checking in the room I had booked and prepaid for was not available. So instead had king bed and sofa bed. The sofa bed was incredibly uncomfortable as the metal bars were all I could feel. I ended up putting the 2 inch mattress on the floor and closing the couch up. The staff was really great and was able to put us in the two queen room the following night. The breakfast was to die for with everything you could ever ask for and all of it fresh and at temperature. Really loved the proximity to old town Pasadena

    All staff were very friendly and nice! The hotel was not in the best shape. Sink in the bathroom was cracked and the wall paper had marks and stains on it. People etched their names and markings on the elevator doors and the hot tub in the pool was out of service. The hotel looked more beat up in person than in the pics.

    Overall I say it’s a good location right in old town Pasadena walking distance from bars and just a mile away from main downtown. The reason for my rating was because the shower floor was dirty with hair , I felt uncomfortable showering. My husband forgot his Apple Watch , it took them 4 days to contact me back to inform me they found the watch. I would think that as soon as they found it on Sunday after they cleaned the room they would’ve reported and contact me. It wasn’t until Tuesday my husband traced the watch and it prompted the location from the hotel and I called them left my phone number and I got a call with an email back until Thursday. I’m thankful it was found and they called me.

    I love this hotel for the convenient location. The staff was great. The hotel looks more modern but it is a bit tired. I tripped outside of the fotness room because the linoleum was sticking up. There are just some places where the hotel folks be refreshed. Otherwise, love this hotel.

    Where to start I prepaid for my room reservation? So it was paid off before I got there. I ordered a suite with two queen.Beds and they switched it to 1 king bed in the couch none of the amenities that they advertised that they had were there. They charged extra hotel fees. If this place is a rip-off, I will never come back. And I was unsatisfied, I didn't even get what I prepaid.For be aware, the staff does not care and treated us with such disrespect

    Check in first, for easy accessible parking. Carpet in the room is filthy, leaves your feet or light colored socks darkly stained. Fire alarm malfunction at 4:11 AM. It went off three times until about 4:30 AM. We requested a later checkout and they deactivated the room keys prior to late checkout. This made it an issue loading the car back up, getting stuck in the parking garage, being locked out of the room. Fun times.

    Very bad experience. When we arrived at the hotel, we were checked into a room that was already being used, already giving us a poor first impression. After we brought this to the staffs attention, we were then moved to a room on the ground floor, facing the driveway to the parking garage. The rooms and hotel itself were also not kept in the best condition. The elevators had broken light fixtures and were making very questionable noises. I found multiple gnats inside the bathroom sink, and random residue splattered on the walls in the bathroom.

    Fire alarm went on several times at 4 am and we had to go down to the lobby where no one ever tried to calm us or communicate what was going on. Checking in took ages though we received an upgrade because our room wasnt ready. Pool was great for my kids.

    The property is close to Rosebowl where the whole family are participating with The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles and United Way homeless walk Sunday 7/20/2025 at the Rosebowl. I just wish Marriott can let us check out 2:00pm since we have 2 toddler and an infant and the United Way walk will end at 12:30pm so we don't have to rush back, pack things, but instead we can take use of the pool for an hour after the homeless walk, as the kids are looking forward to using the hotel pool.

    I checked into my room. Approximately 45 minutes later. Someone was able to enter into my room with an actual room key. I later called down to the front desk and they asked me to pack up and change rooms with these people. I felt VERY UNSAFE in this hotel at that time. I left the hotel and went somewhere else. I asked for a refund for my stay. However I have not heard back from the hotel.

    We reserved a two queen sized bed room and once we arrived at the hotel we were informed that our booking was changed, without ANY notice or reasonable explanation. When we talked to the front desk they told us that it is their fault and that they were overbooked. I’m sorry, but that’s not my problem. We went from having our reservation to a small one bed, and a one person hide a bed. This is not what we paid for. My son had to sleep in our truck. The hide a bed was extremely uncomfortable, please upgrade the flat mattresses. This is unacceptable and we will never be returning to this hotel ever again because this was an absolute first. Never experienced such terrible service at a hotel before, and we were not accommodated. Please reorganize and restructure this hotel because we didn’t make a big deal out of it but I know other folks wouldn’t accept this at all.

    Right off the freeway, friendly staff. You will have to pay to park which is pricey but easy to do; you drive around the back of the property and park in the garage and use your key to get k to the hotel. So very safe. Rooms were nice, beds comfortable. Shower very nice! I did ask for extra pillows and blankets and they were never received. Can pay for breakfast but we opted to walk down to Russell’s.
