My stay at Creekside was great! Everyone was extremely helpful, the rooms were clean and seemed newly renovated and the grounds were beautiful. Over the five years that my daughter was at Stanford, I wish I had found Creekside earlier.

Beautiful garden. Great location with a terrific deli next door and a high end Brazilian restaurant on premises. Friendly helpful staff. Bathroom in the single King room was a bit tight - much larger in the double Queens.

The property on a large ground with garden, facilities are well-kept , and has water dispenser and laundry machines. Nothing

We have stayed here around 20 times and love its proximity to Stanford University. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The superior king rooms and suites are spacious with nice balcony views. Jonathan at the front desk has the warmest personality! Housekeeping does a nice, consistent job.

We loved our stay. Everyone was so helpful and friendly! The beds and A/C were fabulous. We also enjoyed the breakfast! We’d gladly return again!

The WiFi was not working on the last day of our stay and unfortunately the staff did not give the residents a heads up that they were changing their WiFi system that day. My work meetings got affected terribly. If I had known about this, I would have taken my meetings at Starbucks..

This property seemed homey and very comfortable. Beautiful landscaping, plenty of parking, EV chargers, restaurant on-site, all in good location, with quiet, clean rooms, patios, and windows that open to let in fresh air.

The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are very clean. I repeatedly got conflicting answers on whether or not they had a discount for people using Stanford Medical Center. Just like last year, I had to go to Stanford several times this year. I've always stayed at the Creekside Inn for each of my appointments at Stanford. The discounts they offered last year were very helpful considering my high medical bills and having to come from out of state. However, each time I called this year to make a reservation I was told they no longer have a discount for people needing to go to Stanford. I like the hotel and feel safe there, so I stayed there anyway but I booked online instead to help with the cost. When I checked in at the front desk this last time, I was told they DID have a discount for Stanford but it didn't apply to me because I didn't book with them directly. One woman told me the discount started back in January, and then a gentleman told me it started about a month before I checked in. Either way, they wouldn't give me the discount. It was frustrating and much more expensive this year. Thankfully I'm done with Stanford and the need to return to Palo Alto.

Exceeded all expectations. This place was an oasis and the staff were all amazing. Great vibe!

I visited the Creekside Inn as a solo traveler. As a woman, it's always scary to go to new places alone, but I felt very comfortable in my room. The staff were very nice when I checked in and checked out, and I would definitely recommend choosing this location. There were plenty of places to park around my room and it was easy to navigate. As for breakfast, I only went on my last day but if you just need a quick bite to eat, they certainly have some nice options. Mini cereals, apples, bananas, coffee/tea, and pastries. It's not a huge assortment with all the fixings but I didn't see that as an issue! The scenery was beautiful! It's called Creekside for a reason! I would definitely choose this place again!

For $500 a midweek night. I expected, well...more. Front desk staff was very kind and welcoming, but the property itself is old, not updated, and my room was dark and depressing. Only 2 lightbulbs on the ceiling which were that terrible "cool" white. It gave off "interrogation room." The sink was clogged and backed up with brown water with bits of whiskers and dirt...oh, and there was nearly zero water pressure. The robes were awful...scratchy, hard, and uncomfortable. Needless to say, again, I expected more. I'm honestly giving it three stars due to the staff.

The Creekside Inn occupies a bucolic setting in the heart of Silicon Valley. It’s got a full-service Brazilian steakhouse on the premises, as well as Palo Alto’s favorite take-out sandwich place, with several other restaurants within walking distance. We found to rate very reasonable for a spacious recently remodeled Junior Suite in the Tower Building overlooking the pool. No complaints!

The Creekside Inn is ideally located, within a 15-minute walk of the California Avenue Caltrain Station and a 10-minute drive from downtown Palo Alto. The atmosphere is warm and charming, with a lovely fountain and seasonal flowers, and the staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. It was our second stay here, and it certainly won’t be our last!

The scenery was very beautiful green and peaceful The included breakfast that’s staying on the list is actually some cut up fruits, pastries, and free coffee or tea. So I had to go look for a place off the property to get an actual meal
- 5/5
It was convenient for attending anything concert at Stanford Stadium. We actually walked back to the hotel afterwards to avoid traffic. For an older hotel, it was nice enough. Free parking is a plus.

A stay surrounded by calm. My room smelled musty at the beginning but everything else made up for it. Very enjoyable stay.

Concert weekend. Veeeerrrry expensive, but it was clean, friendly annd some free BFast items in the AM.

Everything was very clean and well kept. Loved the water bottle refill station. Hotel location was great for the things I was doing in the area. Balcony was spacious, clean and had a great view. Also loved the little deli/market next door. Zero complaints! I wish the bathroom was a bit bigger and the shower had better water pressure but it wouldn't prevent me from staying there again.
- 5/5
This is a lovely little hotel. It is an older property, but the room was spacious, very clean and well maintained. The towels were fluffy, the rain shower head had great pressure and hot water always available. The continental breakfast was simple. The market onsite had great sandwiches and Yatori was right across the street. Amazing pastries and matcha lattes. The grounds at the hotel were immaculately landscaped. It was a very relaxing place to stay.

Great location! I loved how it was surrounded by so much foliage. Beautiful! I enjoyed the market right next to it. Very convenient for snacks, sandwiches, & coffee drinks. I enjoyed that our room had its own little patio out front.

We did not get to see most of it because we were busy with our granddaughter at Stanford softball. I wish we had more time to have been at the Inn. It had very pretty landscaping. We didn’t have the time to enjoy it. The restaurant there was very nice. Great food! Would have been nice to know there was not an elevator. My only complaint.

Didnt stay for breakfast. The toilet was very hard to sit down on. Lower back issues and both knees are bad. To low to floor. The shower head coming from the ceiling was hard to fully rinse off. The next door or above us, was up all night talking loud and had the TV on. I only got 4 hours of sleep. My son also was awaken. No microwave

Very nice property that includes trees, a stream, a fountain. Very restful. Cost is becoming prohibitive depending on occupancy. We stayed there one night. Asked about staying another night and the price of the second night was double. (Not a weekend. Just a regular Thursday night)

Look, this is a motel, not the Ritz. But it's a very nice motel, clean, well arranged and efficient. But what sets it apart are lovely grounds, landscaped around a creek that flows through the property. This will make no difference to you if you are a business traveller rushing to meetings (although it does work for those too), but if you have the time to stay and enjoy the lovely gardens it's great value.

Hotel was well located and nicely updated for an older hotel. Front office Staff was not very helpful or cooperative when asked for room change or late check out. Also, on first morning at noon, we had note under door saying we were too late for Maid service. Note that specific maid service timing was not posted anywhere in room. But when we talked directly to maid it was no problem & her service was excellent.
- 2.5/5
Big size room with kitchen. Courteous staff. Good location. Very poor amenities. No complimentary water bottles provided. And you are charged for every bottle you take from reception. The room carpet smells. No auto ventilation. There is a wall mounted aircon which makes noise like a rail engine. Very difficult to sleep with. Balconies are not cleaned regularly. Even room is cleaned properly. I had breakfast in morning and came back in evening to see all the breakfast utensils as is. No water available in all buildings. And you are expected to walk to reception every time you need water. Lot of issues. Not going to return

The only downside is in the H bldg, the rooms are noisy. We could hear the people upstairs every step in their room. Next door in the morning you can hear the housekeeping in the rooms next to you. Enough noise to wake me at times. All in all, I will stay again. Just in a different room this time.

clean and quiet. filtered water free vending surprisingly good!

Wifi included. I loved that.

Our room was spacious, clean, and the extras were great. We were given a basket of snacks and a small container of wine. The large sliding doors open to a patio with chairs and a table overlooking walking paths along the creek with trees and many beautiful azaleas. The bed was very comfortable. I would say this is our favorite hotel we have stayed in for a while now. We will be returning to the area in two weeks and will be fortunately staying there again. I highly recommend.

This is a well-run, clean motel at a relatively decent price for the area. My room was quiet and I slept well. The bed was comfortable. There’s a great deli on the property, and the breakfast was fine. I booked a room with a balcony, but the balcony overlooked a parking lot. If I had known, I probably wouldn’t have paid extra for that option. Some of the hallways also had a really strong perfume smell, but the room was fine.
- 5/5
A very pleasant stay that I would repeat!
- 5/5
Reading the other reviews, i thought there has to be something people aren't saying. It can't be that great of a property & still be in my price range. Well i was wrong & the other reviewers were right. Really friendly staff at check in. A gorgeous property. Our room opened out to a small shared patio next to the creek, with a table & chairs. Breakfast was continental fare & the staff was quick to refill everything. The room itself was clean & spacious. We definitely want to return some time for a longer vacation.
- 5/5
I would have liked a few more things for breakfast but overall still very good
- 2/5
I called the en on Friday and told them I would not be checking in until Saturday and not to cancel my reservation. I also requested a bath tub. Got there late Saturday. Finally got checked in after they had to reinstate my reservation because they canceled it. Got to room no tub. Went back to lobby got new room. Tub leaked. A tub is a deal breaker. Also while I was there they sent a man to a room that was already occupied and he came back in to get a room.
- 5/5
What a fabulous Palo Alto legacy! Beautiful California landscaping. Great front desk staff, property staff. The deli has good coffee and sandwiches. Perfect location for anything at Frost amphitheater or Shoreline.
- 4/5
The breakfast menu was the best part of this stay. Fresh pastries, good coffee, yogurt, eggs all available to take out, or sit out on the patio in nice weather. BE AWARE of fine print: they charge $17.50 per night for amenities (e.g., pool & parking) whether you use them or not. I was unhappy to find this out at check-in.
- 5/5
Nice, quiet, clean place. I like that rooms have balconies/patios.
- 5/5
Always love staying here. We come for medical appointments and it is the most comfortable and relaxing place we’ve found to stay.

Awful staff, especially with some man who is half Asian who claims to be supervisor there!!! He over charged us twice and he could not admit his mistake instead he claimed that is there policy which speaking to other employees that is NOT accurate at all!!!! I’ve stayed there over 6 years on business and after this incident I will no longer stay at this property! Management did nothing to apologize at all either. HORRIBLE F STAFF

Traveled for an unexpected stay due to a family members illness. I called ahead to let staff know I'd be checking in late, and they were present and friendly, for which I was grateful. The room was clean and quiet, and they cleaned the room the following days without having to request it. As a weary traveler, it was just what I needed. It is a charming hotel with kind staff. Highly recommend it. Save the money from some of the more overpriced hotels and stay here.
- 5/5
It was clean, quaint, quiet, unique and pretty

Nice room with comfy bed and pillows. The grounds are beautiful with lush greenery and flowers, and lots of little places to walk or sit. The breakfast in the lobby each morning was very good, with excellent coffee served. I really enjoyed the purified water dispenser to fill my bottle, and the EV chargers are a real bonus too. The little Market on site makes delicious sandwiches. The hotel staff were all very kind and attentive. It was a fabulous stay.

We had a comfortable room with plenty of space. We especially liked the walk-in shower. There was a table with two chairs and another padded chair. There was a nice balcony overlooking the pool. The room was clean. Check-in staff were friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. The Driftwood Deli on property is delicious ! Sandwiches were so fresh and so good! A bit disappointed in the complimentary breakfast. Not much available and pastries were dry; a microwave would be nice to reheat them in lobby.

I've stayed at this property off and on for over 40 years. They've renovated rooms, kept the pool and grounds nice, good continental breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Nice to see it's still a great place to stay

The bed was awful couldn’t sleep on it. It was almost like part of the bed frame was broken.
- 5/5
I only needed a place to sleep before returning to the hospital the next morning, so I don't have any comments on the gym/pool or other extras. For my room though, it was clean, the bed was soft but comfortable. The bathroom was nicely updated with good water pressure, good shower head and hot water. The creekside vibe was great with beautiful garden surroundings. And gratefully very quiet even on a Friday night.
- 5/5
It’s a beautiful, garden-like hotel. The staff were very friendly, and check-in and check-out were both quick and easy. My room had a patio where I could sit and relax, which I really enjoyed. They also offer a limited number of free EV charging spots, which is a nice bonus for electric vehicle drivers.

Room interior felt more like a motel than a hotel. No art, felt disappointing upon entering. But there was plenty of parking, it was comfortable, location was near where we wanted to be. Breakfast was just pastries, hard boiled eggs, coffee, box of cereal. Nothing "hot", other than the coffee. So while technically true that they breakfast was included, i'd say more 'continental breakfast'. Nowhere to sit and eat either.
- 5/5
The property is very clean and inviting. The staff was very helpful and the free bottle of wine at check in was exactly what I needed after a long day of meetings and travel. The bed was really comfy and the room was very clean! It felt almost like home.

This fee is not included in the price of the room and is an underhanded surprise for the customer when they are charged for it at check-in. No amenities were used during the reserved stay. I am unhappy about this and will reconsider staying at this hotel in the future. .

The staff greeted us warmly and the on-site deli is a favorite reason to return. The beds are comfortable and the patio by the office is nice to sit on. Also the cold water machine to fill water bottles is a nice touch.

Everything was first class!
- 5/5
The facility was nice, clean and staff was very helpful.
- 5/5
Great front desk service , convenient location , clean and comfortable room!
- 5/5
Very good
- 4/5
The fitness facilities are sufficient, although a bit old. The breakfast is terrible and doesn’t deserve to be called a breakfast. Sweet pastries, sweetened yoghurt, and ultra processed oatmeal. If you’re health conscious, you will be disappointed.
- 3/5
Staff was nice. Overall, we paid too much for this place.
- 5/5
great
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable room, conveniently located to Stanford Medical Center. Will stay again.
- 4/5
Great motel style accommodation, with kind staff. Breakfast is limited to grab-and-go items (not hot food, except oatmeal with hot water) but was a nice way to start the day. The pool is heated and well maintained, very clean. The property is quiet. The convenience store on the property with the deli was great- huge menu of sandwiches (including hot breakfast sandwiches) and other snacks. The room was spacious and clean, though a bit old so don’t expect a place that’s new. We enjoyed our stay and the price was right for the area!
- 5/5
Clean rooms and Friendly staff… will book again!
- 5/5
Yes.
- 5/5
Nice hotel with a good location
- 5/5
Everything about this stay was impressive! We loved the early check in, lovely staff, scenery, on site famous deli and more! We definitely want to visit Palo Alto again and we will definitely stay at the Creekside Inn again.
- 5/5
The whole place was very neat and clean but our room was spotless - I loved the large bathtub that was ideal for soaking - The towels were exceptional and even bathrobes were provided - The king size bed was very comfortable and there was an extra blanket in the closet - We had a mini suite and I would recommend it for the slight prince increase
- 5/5
Amazing!
- 5/5
Place felt like a resort. Rooms are uodated, clean and sheets and pillows are just superb! Lobby is nice. Great atmophere overall. Loved our stay
- 5/5
Good cute place to stay
- 5/5
Well kept grounds.
- 5/5
Cost room
- 5/5
Nice room, good amenities.
- 4/5
Extremely clean and in good condition. Modest lodging but with an eye towards upscale details and service, including complementary Tesla charging stations and daily maid service. Nice shower, lots of storage including an actual clothes closet, safe and robes. Quiet. I’d stay there again without hesitation.
- 3/5
Opened the window for fresh air. Low maintenance breakfast; no eggs, meat. Deli food, on premises. location convenient.
- 5/5
Nice place at a great price and was able to park right next to my room. The creek and grounds are a welcome change to a high rise hotel. Very quiet and peaceful.
- 2/5
I originally started to book directly with Creekside but they wanted to charge me for parking so I disengaged and booked with Hotels.com. The booking stated all the fees were paid and there would be no additional fees. When I arrived they charged me an additional $17.50 to use the pool, in early January mind you. When I told them Hotels.com said all the fees were paid they it was policy. The staff was neither friendly or helpful. The next morning I was awakened by a loud knock on the door at 8:15. It seems the maid wanted to clean the rooms already as she was knocking on several doors. Continental breakfast was sub par. All I really wanted was orange juice but there was neither OJ or milk. For a corporation trying to get every dime out of their customers this seemed very unprofessional.
- 5/5
This place is so beautiful and peaceful. Such a nice place to stay. Will stay here again.
- 4/5
Clean room and friendly service !
- 5/5
Lovely little inn. Peaceful atmosphere. Clean comfortable room.
- 5/5
Great room clean staff courteous thanks will be back
- 4/5
Walls were paper thin, heard talking from next room over and walking from room above.
- 4/5
Clean quiet room. Ari (?) at check in was friendly and helpful. Comfy bed, big shower. Would definitely stay again.
- 4/5
The room was spacious and worked for our family. The pool is heated but still too cold for a winter time swim without a jacuzzi or way to warm up, also no towels were available at the pool which made for an extra cold walk back to our room. Breakfast was VERY minimal and the coffee was gross. Thankfully the room had a microwave and fridge so we grabbed our own food items for breakfasts. The location was very nice and worked well for our visit to Sam Fran and Stanford Children’s Hospital. Overall we would stay here again but would bring our own breakfast and big pool towels.
- 5/5
Staff was very nice. Room was clean and quiet.
- 4/5
Even the hallways smelled clean. Everyone was friendly. Super quiet and convenient! Didn’t get a bottle of wine I guess I was supposed to get but I didn’t ask…room was great!
- 5/5
I was only able to see staff at front desk and they were corteous and nice, ibwas not abke to ineract with housekeeping however my room was clean and orderly.
- 5/5
Wonderful staff, very clean room and beds. Very comfortable beds!!
- 5/5
Room was spotless, staff were friendly and efficient!
- 5/5
The room was clean and fresh. The staff were welcoming and very much helpful and extremely well customer service. The property is beautifully maintained and set up with the trees and the front desk to the housekeeping staff all were very professional and friendly. We had a great stay and will definitely be back. It is an oasis tucked away from the El Camino but very special and cozy.
- 5/5
We were welcomed with a bottle of wine from Expedia, which was very nice. The room is spacious for two. Parking is no issue and easy to find. The hotel provides complementary onsite charging for Tesla vehicles, but the two charging stations can be occupied overnight. Breakfast is also complementary with limited options. Overall, it was a nice stay.
- 5/5
Breakfast needed more variety it wasn't that good
- 5/5
Great value. Great staff
- 5/5
Great room and fairly large. Clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
The rooms are nice, beds are cozy. The amenities in the room are so convenient and the staff is accommodating and helpful. It was a rough week for me and I was grateful for the easy check in for a last minute booking. I got to stay in the same room and come back to my things in the same room.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel. It is everything we need in a hotel. Very clean and the staff is wonderful. The location is also great
- 4/5
Old room but clean. Friendly at check in.
- 5/5
Staff is great, bed is comfortable, room is clean and I loved the bottle of wine!
- 5/5
the staff were extremely friendly, especially the front desk supervisor, Mr. Aris Mendoza, who helped me overcome many difficulties. Thank you very much!
- 5/5
I love the store/ deli adjacent to Creekside. Within walking distance is a fun & delicious donut shop, a coffee shop & a steakhouse as well as Chinese & Mexican restauranrestaurantrestaurant
- 5/5
A lovely spot in Palo Alto - good value and location. Will stay there again!
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5
The room was spotless, the staff was great!
- 5/5
We couldn’t try the breakfast but over all vibe of the place and room was pretty good. The only thing which was missing was the toothpaste and the shower gel was finished and they didn’t refill it.
- 5/5
Clean room, courteous staff.
- 5/5
Clean large room heated pool nice staff
- 4/5
Almost. Hair on the faucet and one stinky towel that should have been noticed
- 5/5
Room was spotless and staff was very friendly and welcoming
- 4/5
What a great room. Larger than a studio I used to live in the bed was extremely comfy, and the pillows were great.
- 4/5
- 4/5
Very nice staff
- 5/5
Great and quiet hotel with a neat little market in the building. Only dig is the market doesn't open early enough for you to use the coffee bar and grab some breakfast if you're a business traveler.
- 5/5
Excellent beautiful and clean and safe wonderful location.
- 5/5
Wonderful accommodate
- 3/5
The room was clean. Housekeeping was excellent. The woman at the counter when I checked in was friendly and efficient. Parking was convenient with no additional fee. The breakfast was poor: cold cereals in cardboard boxes, pastries, yogurts, apple and orange juice (but ran out of OJ on the second day). No hot food. No place to sit down. I wanted an extra hour on Sunday morning -- not an unusual request -- but was told that was not possible because so many people were checking out then. It was the weekend of the Stanford-Cal football game. With so many people checking out, the desk could have arranged for my room to be among the last cleaned, thus giving me the extra hour. Finally, there was an additional $17.50 per day, per room for "amenity fee." I had stayed there before. and I and noted no additional amenities. I reserved two rooms. That meant $70 more for nothing and that fee was exorbitant.
- 5/5
very nice and clean staff welcome their guests Excellent service.
- 4/5
Room was okay. Surroundings are very green and nice.
- 2/5
This hotel's breakfast is terrible. It does not provide eggs. There is no waffle machine so we cannot make waffles. Everything is cold. Also, there is no table, no chair, no place to sit to have a breakfast. I would suggest Creekside Inn just do not provide breakfast. So the customers can decide whether to book this hotel. If hotel website says that it provides breakfast, but with such low quality, it is not good for the hotel since it makes this hotel like a motel.
- 5/5
Perfect for the family! Thank you! Clean room, nicely landscaped property!
- 3/5
They forgot to give me my VIP bottle of wine at check in.
- 5/5
Rooms were nice clean and comfortable
- 5/5
This place is so cute! Comfortable beds. Would stay here again
- 5/5
The room was huge and comfortable. I loved the balcony.
- 5/5
Great room, if you are watching a football game at Stanford doesn’t get much better!
- 5/5
Clean room. Attractive room. Great comfortable bed, the most plush towels, good hanging closet and ample storage cabinet.
- 5/5
Great experience.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, large room, property is pretty with nice trees, close to Stanford.
- 4/5
Clean room, staff was good, the breakfast was very limited to only a few items
- 4/5
We enjoyed staying there. It was close to the hospital we needed to go to and there is a great deli right next to the hotel.
- 5/5
Professional friendly staff, delightful room...love the adjacent patio
- 4/5
Staff was great! A little dated, but clean and nice setting. You'd never know you were in the middle of Palo Alto. Perfect for Stanford games.
- 5/5
Nice and easy to check in
- 5/5
Second time here. Perfect location, clean and comfortable l. Nice staff :-)

- 5/5

- 5/5
All the staff were very kind and sweet
- 5/5
Awesome Shower!
- 5/5
Had no complaints. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and close dinning available. Have stayed multiple times and have no bad experiences. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
Nice hotel! Would come back again
- 5/5
Showers were awesome and the staff was very friendly.
- 4/5
It was a nice place but our room has a musty smell when we first came … but they fixed it right away. Don’t do much on the amenities as it was raining most of the time and we usually get back to the Inn by night time. Otherwise it was a great place.i have 4 stars because it was too far from the SFO airport which I didn’t realize it ( it was my fault).
- 4/5
Clean. A bit noisy but otherwise fine.
- 4/5
Great location, mostly quiet, clean, generous space. Met our needs well.
- 5/5
My husband was surprised how wonderful this place and excellent customer service. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
- 5/5
Breakfast is basic, not much choice and no hot food available besides coffee.
- 4/5
Clean room and friendly staff.
- 5/5
Great staff
- 5/5
The rooms were very nice. The staff was nice as well. We had a great visit.
- 1/5
The room 111 assigned to us: when attempting to key in the room was occupied. Then room 342 given to us smelled of smoke. Now in room 124 sharing a small queen bed with my son who requires his own bed The front desk said they were sold out and if it wasn’t late I would have left and asked for a refund this place is not wonderful as the reviews state, it’s really run down and like a motel Do not stay here
- 5/5
Comfortable and quiet - great balcony too; very friendly staff
- 3/5
I had searched for free parking when we booked the room, at check in we were told that we would be charged $17 for their “amenities” which was parking, pool, and workout room. We were given a bottle of wine at check in, I would have rather not paid for the amenities. Room was small as was the bathroom area, but the room was very clean.
- 5/5
THE ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN. THE STAFF WAS VERY KIND AND COURTEOUS!! WILL DEFINITELY BE STAYING HERE AGAIN!!
- 4/5
Clean room, convenient close to restaurants.
- 5/5
Friendly staff and clean room
- 4/5
It’s in a great area if I go up there, in the future I would actually stay again
- 5/5
A great value and a really wonderful staff. Rooms are very clean and very well maintained. My favorite place to stay in Palo Alto.
- 4/5
A nice place, with nice people and nice accommodations. However, the continental breakfast provides no ability to take a 2nd cup of coffee and a second danish back to the room for your travel mate. They will not provide a tray or a coffee holder or a box. So if you want coffee, you have to go get it. Seems strange.
- 5/5
Conveniently located, clean, friendly
- 5/5
I absolutely loved our stay at Creekside Inn! Everything was so nice and so clean. All of the staff were so helpful and wonderful. They actually make you feel at home. The property is beautiful, and very conveniently located.
- 5/5
Hidden gem, beautiful grounds, attentative and welcoming staff.....amazing food options, good location. Staff friendly and engaging. Thank you!
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Clean room. Mattress / Bef was comfortable
- 4/5
Check in was simple and easy, very friendly staff at Check in. Breakfast was adequate, just not many options besides pastries. I did not get my bottle of wine as advertised, not a big deal but just don’t have your heart set on a bottle of wine. Loved how quiet and pretty the property was. Will definitely stay again if we have a swim meet in the area.
- 4/5
- 5/5
The room was spotless, the front desk was very welcoming in the evening upon arrival, I had coffee and continental breakfast every morning, nice big spacious bathroom counter, flat screen TV, a microwave and a refrigerator. Everything we needed.
- 5/5
Wonderful facility
- 5/5
Just what I needed
- 5/5
Clean, friendly and polite staff
- 5/5
Great location, clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
Wonderful
- 5/5
Love the peaceful and attractive grounds of Creekside. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the location is very convenient.
- 5/5
Very nice vibe here way better then chain hotels
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
Clean room. A bit outdated and with carpet wich makes me a bit jneasy but overall it was a great experience.
- 5/5
Beautiful gem in the heart of Palo Alto. Great room with comfortable bed and great price for a weekday stay.
- 5/5
Perfect for my needs while up at Stanford. Thank you!
- 5/5
No upgrade, but the room I booked was fine.
- 5/5
This place was fantastic! Priced reasonably and great location, with amazing service and nice continental breakfast. Super good deli market on site and the grounds are so pretty and serene with benches, tables and chairs to sit back and relax or on your patio. Highly recommend staying here!
- 5/5
Loved patio outside room overlooking creek
- 5/5
The staff is friendly and the room was nice
- 4/5
Lovely wooded surroundings and beautiful shrubs and flowers
- 5/5
Great staff
- 5/5
Spacious room. Plenty of parking. Nice staff.
- 5/5
Creekside Inn is a beautiful and clean property. The check in and check out were easy and the hotel staff is pleasant. The room was big, clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel for families.
- 5/5
As several have reported, the breakfast is too much focused on sweets but I enjoyed the coffee and yogurt
- 4/5
Thin walls. Easy parking.
- 3/5
List: Humidity smell room Broken coffee maker False advertisement regarding heated swimming pool.
- 5/5
Picturesque location, room was a bit dated but clean
- 4/5
Everything is good but no elevator for heavy suitcases.
- 5/5
Great staff. Clean and comfortable room with nice amenities.
- 5/5
Great staff, great setting!!Felt like a little resort . Loved it!!!
- 4/5
I was booked in the wrong room, some glitch with an upgrade they said. My confirmation email said I booked a queen queen room but I was given a king room and when I let front desk know I needed two beds I was informed there were no rooms available with two beds. I was in town for surgery, already very stressed, Not great. Would’ve been good to at least be offered a discount. That aside, I’ve stayed here a few times and really like this place. Feel like I found a hidden gem.
- 5/5
Staff are friendly and accommodating
- 4/5
I stayed in one of the older buildings for my second stay at Creekside. The room smelled terrible musty and a little like pet urine. The air conditioner is an older unit and was so loud.
- 4/5
- 1/5
The property is pleasant, service great and cleaning excellent, but we were given a room directly across from the trash and next to the steak house. The smell when we opened our door was trash mixed with steak, which was not pleasant at all. Area is nice and again, very clean property. Just shouldn't use rooms across from the trash.
- 4/5
But the room itself is dated, a classic bay area 50's building feeling.
- 4/5
The property is clean and quiet.
- 5/5
Highly recommend. Rooms were very nice, large and clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helped in any way they can. Best part of it was that since we have stayed here a few times while in town they surprised us and upgraded us to the VIP room at no charge. Staying here next time in town for sure.
- 5/5
It's a very scenic property near Palo Alto. The rainfall showers are awesome. The bed and bedding quite comfortable. The room is very spacious.
- 5/5
The grounds were very well kept very very manicured and very less and pretty
- 5/5
Absolutely accommodating
- 5/5
It was a cute little property with green space and little places to sit throughout in the middle of a busy city area.
- 5/5
Loved my stay here!
- 5/5
Enjoyed the patio.
- 5/5
I love all the trees that incorporate the different buildings such that it’s all rustic and natural feeling. And a lovelyPool area as well.
- 3/5
I got a suite for an extra $10 a day. Suites are supposed to be fully equipped. This one has a kitchen, but it's completely empty: no cutlery, no pans, no plates, and nothing else... So, what’s the point of having a kitchen if you can't even use the microwave to reheat food and eat it?
- 5/5
Nice quaint pkace
- 5/5
Very comfortable hotel, warm environment, very quiet,
- 5/5
I enjoy this place.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay, it was a nice clean place. That had its own unique charm. Definitely would recommend and stay again.
- 5/5
Great staff as usual & the stay was quiet and comfy... :)
- 5/5
The office staff went above and beyond to accommodate. The beds were amazing and we slept like a baby.
- 5/5
Nice. Quiet. Clean. The atmosphere was relaxing. I’d stay here again. Room was good size. Also appreciate the car charger and breakfast. VIP perk was a bottle of wine. Nice touch.
- 5/5
It was a great location, easily walkable to restaurants. Nice deli attached to the place.
- 5/5
Thank you
- 3/5
Quiet setting and adequate room but bathroom a problem. No water pressure sink and TOO MUCH water pressure shower with only a half glass panel to block shower was inadequate and water went all over bathroom floor so a mess and dangerously slippery!! Told desk but nothing fine to adjust it. Offered to change rooms but not on vacation to pack up and move to another room with same bathroom arrangement. If they had upgraded us to room with complete shower panel we would have changed!
- 5/5
This is such an incredible hotel and property! Extremely undervalued. Very nice, completely remodeled & updated, safe and amazing friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend this hotel. I flew from Oregon with my 11yr old son for an appt at Stanford. I felt completely safe and even forgot a hairbrush of all things!! My son was sick and the front office staff graciously gave me a new hairbrush free of charge… it is the little things that make a difference. I almost did not book this hotel (we stayed for 3nights) because of some bad reviews.. I was just shocked at the bad reviews vs. my experience. If people are expecting the “Four Seasons” resort, than they need to be prepared to pay those fees! Creekside was excellent and since my son was sick and not feeling good - sleeping and snoring in our rental car, they were gracious enough to allow us a very early check in time. I’m grateful for all of their kindness. We will always book this hotel for future drs appts… thank you very much.
- 4/5
The spread
- 1/5
The carpet was dirty and there were floored hovering in the room. Slept one night and left the next day. I shouldn’t have had to pay even for the few hours that I slept there with no choice. Great inconvenience! I would not recommend it to anyone.
- 5/5
Easy to get to Stanford Hospital and within 10 minutes away
- 4/5
I enjoyed staying here for business. My room were always so clean whenever I back from business everyday.
- 2/5
I reserved a multiple beds room it showed 3 double beds and a sofa bed on the list when I ordered. However when I get the room it only conmes with 2 double beds and a sofa bed. I asked them why they told me they don’t have any 3 double beds room I was not happy about that but nothing I can do on that day
- 5/5
Very good and clean.
- 5/5
Nice continental breakfast, quiet area
- 5/5
Serene area among plants, trees, and cozy outdoor seating in nature. Enjoyed the soothing fountain, flowers, bridge, simple breakfast of pastries, yogurt, tea, coffee, and fruit. Enjoyed the balcony and space with couch. Great to have available water dispenser for water refill 24 hours. Thank you. We booked it again, conveniently located close to stores, dining, freeways, and Stanford. Thank you wonderful staff!
- 3/5
- 4/5
Clean area and quiet
- 5/5
The room was very nice -- exactly as described -- and very quiet despite proximity to a busy street (El Camino). The staff was very kind, helpful, and accommodating. Highly recommended
- 5/5
The property is beautiful. One of the best features is that the property has a market/deli store that makes great sandwiches and snacks. Very convenient! Our room was clean, and the area is very quiet. The only thing is that the air conditioning was a swamp cooler, and it was noisy, but it did its job, and we appreciate that. The pool area is clean and inviting. I would stay here always when in the area.
- 5/5
Staff at check-in was amazing! He let us check-in a few hours early. Very welcoming and professional. Room was very clean, beds were comfortable, and the view was so beautiful and tranquil. Highly recommend! Safe area during both the day and night. Planning to book again in a month or so!
- 4/5
Conveniently close to Stanford. Rooms are clean, but slightly outdated.
- 5/5
Great clean and comfortable
- 5/5
The room was a nice size and the bed was comfortable. The staff members were super friendly.
- 5/5
The property is quite but very close to many dining options. It is a great choice for any Stanford related activity. Free parking and safety are part of the reasons I have stayed here again and again.
- 4/5
Pool should have heated, as advertised.
- 4/5
Grounds are peaceful and lush- property reminded me of a higher end motel setting. Rooms are basic and could use more decor, but had everything we needed and beds were very comfortable, which I cared most about. Nice stay!
- 3/5
Good location to Stanford.
- 3/5
2. Anemic breakfast at the lobby 3. They take away the breakfast before the stated deadline.
- 5/5
would recommend to anyone who wants to stay in the area
- 5/5
Nice and quiet
- 3/5
The rooms are old and tired and not well insulated from noise.
- 4/5
Clean safe and secure place Would recommend
- 4/5
Creekside is a great Inn. the rooms are always nice and clean
- 4/5
We really enjoy our stay at the Creekside Inn. The location was super convenient with lots of dining options and just minutes away to Stanford University.
- 5/5
Good place!
- 2/5
Was shocked when I got to my room to take a nice hot shower after traveling all day, only to find there was no hot water. I called the front desk, and it was an "oh by the way, yeah, you need to let the water run for 10 minutes before it gets hot". Ummmm no. That is unacceptable in modern society at a hotel in Palo Alto. The last thing I want to do when I'm exhausted and need a shower, is stand around in a hotel room, unable to settle in, while I wait for the water to get hot. Furthermore, it is in direct opposition to the hotel's marketing that it is eco-friendly, as all that water is just wasted down the drain. Unacceptable
- 4/5
The stay was convenient and close to my event nearby. Check in was pleasant and respectful. I chose this location to have access to the pool area but unfortunately did not know until I checked in that it was closed for the day.
- 5/5
My go-to hotel when I'm staying in the Palo Alto area. Always a pleasure; always a great experience.
- 4/5
Could have been cleaner and quieter.
- 4/5
Clean. Easy parking.
- 5/5
I was a great place to stay.
- 5/5
Interesting variety of rooms in different size buildings in varied landscaping centered around a creek which was dry when we were there but still very pretty.
- 5/5
Had a lovely time at the hotel.
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was very comfortable, and the grounds are very beautiful. It is a lovely property.
- 5/5
Lovely place and friendly staff.
- 5/5
Beautiful place to stay while my granddaughter was at a daily camp. wonderful grounds and deli semi-attached to hotel.

Fantastic service, great room, in a beautiful property.

Have stayed many times visiting family in the area. Always clean, comfortable rooms and good service. I just wish the showers had normal water pressure. All are low due to flow restrictors and can barely get clean or even keep warm.

On the plus side, beautiful grounds.

Very beautiful quiet & serene. Room was comfortable and very clean! The cleaners were so quick, we left for about 20 minutes and they already replaced the towels and took out the trash :) highly recommend.

My only complaint was the $2/hour charge for the EV charging station.

Really beautiful grounds in a convenient location. Rooms are nice and clean, but the outdoor space is the main event at Creekside. There are beautiful sitting areas with fountains and gardens. Stunning and peaceful!

Super gorgeous hotel! The drive was crazy-cool, cruising past tech and computer company headquarters! The hotel itself was lovely and very family-friendly. The grounds were beautiful and even though the creek was dry, the creekside rooms were totally worth it just for the view. If you can reach, there's even blackberries and raspberries growing around it. There are hidden fountains everywhere! Definitely coming back again!

It is one of a rare hotels that we can find offering room with 2 beds and a sofa bed. The property is in a good location. It is 2 miles from Stanford and is close to many good restaurants. The property is a bit old and the sofa bed not firm enough to sleep comfortably.

Creekside Inn is a quaint place located 5-10 minutes drive from Stanford. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast consists of muffins, croissants, cereal, yogurt and coffee. I’d stay again.
