Such a quaint older facility just a stones throw from the beach!! Certainley enjoyed the location...enjoyed the beach, the surfers and waling about 20 yards from room to beach!! Restaurants within walking distance, so convenient and the food was delicious!

Sea Breeze Motel in Pacifica, CA was just what we needed for a quick "ocean fix" getaway. We left our window cracked open at night to hear the waves lull us to sleep. Unfortunately we also heard the man that was super excited to celebrate his buddy's birthday but at least it was positive loud talking. :) Sea Breeze is just what you would expect for an oceanside motel - small room, not really any perks to it but we chose it over the nearby Marriott for the ambiance not the "perks". Convenient to hiking trails to go into town for coffee and breakfast in the morning. Great beach for wave and people watching. Many close restaurants for food and drink - Moonraker and Nick's in particular.

Beach was just a stone throw away from the room. Plenty of parking and restaurants near by.

The location. Upon arrival, we encountered several significant maintenance and safety concerns. As we attempted to enter our room, the door handle was extremely loose, and the deadbolt was both misaligned and unsecured. A locksmith had to be called, resulting in a 30-minute delay before we could access the room. This situation raises serious questions about the property’s attention to guest safety and readiness standards. Additional issues were evident inside the unit. The toilet seat was loose, and my husband ultimately had to borrow a screwdriver from the locksmith to repair it himself, as the property relies on outsourced maintenance services. It is reasonable to expect that such basic repairs would be addressed during routine inspections before deeming a unit ready for occupancy. Furthermore, communication with management was highly unsatisfactory. Calls to the front desk regarding concerns were not returned as promised. During direct interaction with the manager, the communication was abrupt and unprofessional—to the point of being instructed to “spit it out.” This level of service reflects poorly on management’s commitment to guest experience and care. The accommodations themselves were also below standard, lacking essential amenities such as a microwave, coffee maker, and adequate storage for clothing. The only redeeming aspect of the stay was the view, which is the sole reason for assigning a one-star rating.

One of the best beach motels I’ve ever stayed in. Got an ocean view room and even though it was the closest room to the restaurant all I heard were the waves.

We stayed here for our anniversary weekend. Check in was easy, the staff was friendly. Rooms are small but this is a motel. It’s a cute spot right next to the beach. Parking is easy. We had a blast and will definitely come back again!

Loud in appropriate extremely intoxicated and yelling in her room all hours of the night by herself. Woke us up serval times. We’ve stayed her at least a dozen times and have an occasional noise but this was beyond that. I told the front desk and she just shrugged it off. It immensely changed our experience this visit. Disappointed in how it was handled.

We've stayed here a few times. Although it's very dated, it's extremely clean and comfortable. I love walking out the door and seeing the ocean first thing.

The room was small, uncomfortable and dirty. My bad as I didn't see this was a 2 star hotel. They completely exaggerate continental breakfast. They put out "pasteries" at 9am...9am!? We were long gone but wouldn't want them anyways. No air conditioning and the room was very hot. Bed was uncomfortable, no hair dryer. Yes the view is nice but you can't see while you are sleeping. There are places literally right behind them with much better accommodations. Stay somewhere else, you are worth it!

You cannot get closer to the beach than this location, comfortable bed room on the smaller side, but you pay to be right next to the water. The only problem is the thinness of the walls. You can hear the conversation in the next room. We had a screaming toddler that woke us up multiple times in the room next door.

Staff at check-in was friendly. We have 2 rooms for our group of 6. I was expecting a basic sea side motel. However, the rooms were quite warm (75°) We have no problem opening a window to cool off and listen to the ocean, but people walk past the rooms well past dark making it awkward and very noisy with music blasting from the parking lot area. Thankfully the music stop around 10pm, but after a long day of travel this was not the relaxing night I had hoped for. The locks on the windows did not work (floor level facing the parking lot). One room had a stick to "lock" the window, but our other room did not. One room we never did get the TV to turn on. The toilet seat was broken in one of our rooms, so it was easy to get pinched between the seat and the bowl. The ocean was beautiful and lots of restaurants to walk to. There was a verbal argument happening outside of our room at one point (again, very loud with the window open). Otherwise, the area seemed safe. I would stay in Pacifica again, but would probably spend a bit more to stay somewhere with less foot traffic right outside the door.

Very old motel, but right by the beach. My room had an ant problem- the bathroom had no ventilation fan, and the window was stuck in an open position. As such, I would leave for the day and come back to dozens of ants all over the walls and ceiling. I took video and many pictures, but Expedia won't allow video posts, and the quality of photos turned out not as helpful, since the ants were diffused over the room and not concentrated. I wanted to speak to the hotel staff, but our hours did not overlap to speak with them in person, so I decided to take care if it myself with bait traps. That worked, but it definitely out me off from considering a rebooking in the future.

The place met all our needs, and delivered what it promised ; a bed, a fridge, a shower, free wifi, plenty of free parkings. Do not expect luxury, but everything was clean and adequate ! We slept the window opens at the sound of the crashing waves. We loved the small beach litteraly outside the door, with plenty of pelicans flying and feeding in the ocean. It's a very short and easy drive from the airport, which was appreciated since we landed quite late at night. As written above, do not expect luxury, but every was clean and adequate, and great value. As mentioned in a few other reviews, the fridge can get noisy.

Fantastic as always. Supremely comfortable bed! Lovely staff. Beautiful view. This is second time in as many months I stayed here and I absolutely love this place. I highly recommend it. Our neighbors were super loud until midnight, that was my only complaint. And there is no one to answer the office phone that late so I couldn't do anything about it. But I would still stay there again in a heartbeat.

The rooms got a little stuffy, but once the window was opened it was absolutely no problem.

Room was very clean. Beautiful view. Bed was comfortable. Everything was wonderful. The only bummer was a member of the cleaning staff came in the door while I was getting dressed on the day we checked out. We had till 11am to check out, and this was like 10am. Embarrassing! But despite that, I'd still stay there again.

This place is cool! It has a 50's vibe with modern day insides...and the location is the best! I had a good talk with the owner and even if she wanted to update the building...permitting would prohibit it due to it's close proximity to the beach. There is a great 20 minute hike that gives you a wonderful view of the beach, and a cool restaurant/bar next door that had a great band. The beach area next to the hotel is really nice...enjoyed watching the surfers. So while this place isn't the Ritz Carleton, it is clean, comfortable, and a great value with an awesome location....I really love Pacifica! And the micro brewery across the street has great food and beer too. Nothing ..loved everything!

The location was excellent. There was food left on the fridge from the previous stay. The room smelled a bit musty and the window was dirty.

The best spot to stay in Pacifica! Million dollar view! Nick’s next door is a great spot for food and drinks. Mattresses and pillows could be better.

When arriving to our room, it reminded my wife and I of a jail cell. The walls were terrible looking with multiple patch marks that were done very poorly, our heater didnt work, there was mold in a corner of the room near the door entrance, there was some kind of stain splattered across the mirror in the bathroom, and the bed to the room did not seem anything close to the Queen room that I selected. I also selected an ovean view room and due to the room being at the same level as the parking area, when you looked out the window you saw nothing but a row of cars and not the ocean. This place was terrible and I would never in my life recommend it to anyone. If you look at my booking history all of my purchases are pretty good/decent hotels so based off the pictures presented by Expedia, I figured this room would be just as good and especially based on the 4.3 stars that it was rated and it was nothing close to that. My wife and I slept on top of the covers fully clothed. All of this was also reported to the live agent.

First 3 nights we were in the rum close to reception and all night we could hear smashing doors. Was not good sleep. The best about this place is beach view.

The TV is not properly working. There is no A/C only heater. I know Pacifica is always cold but, it gets very warm inside the room. An A/C will help. Thank you.

Your staff is very welcoming and kind, and you can’t beat the beautiful view. However, the walls are VERY thin… because of the noise (snoring from the left and young/loud couple on the right), I enjoyed zero sleep.

We Highly recommend this place if you're visiting San Francisco because it's right in the out skirts just close enough to get where you are going within a timely manner and would double as a second getaway from being in the city all day.

We love staying here! It takes you back! It’s a vibe! And the restaurant and lounge next door…food is great and fun place to dance in the evening! The motel is right on the ocean/beach. We always leave our window open and sleep like a baby listening to the waves all night. The owner is super kind and friendly. The Moonraker restaurant across the street is good too! With a great view, piano playing and nice atmosphere for a romantic dinner.

The cleaner smell is very strong and if you open window the cigarette and marijuana smell is over powering. The Wi-Fi is very flakey. The tv is suppose to be smart TV but didn’t work. I’m disappointed. I stayed here many times and it seems like it has gone way down hill. Lots of questionable people walking around. I’m glad it is just one night. I don’t think I will come back. It is a motel but for price they could do much better.

The cleaner smell is very strong and if you open window the cigarette and marijuana smell is over powering. The Wi-Fi is very flakey. The tv is suppose to be smart TV but didn’t work. We really liked it. Only has 1 restaurant to eat at. Unless you want to pay $50 a plate. View is beautiful. Easy to find. Very clean. Nice staff.

We had a great stay at The Sea Breeze Motel. We enjoyed leaving the window cracked and listening to the crashing waves against the rocks. Room was a little small but we weren’t in it that much so it was ok. Nice newly remodeled bathroom. We were within walking distance to a couple of different restaurants. Our only complaint was the bathroom door would not close. Could have been swollen from the moisture from the ocean. The lady at the front office was very pleasant (wish I would have gotten her name). I would definitely recommend this little gem of a motel.

We liked the location right on the beach!! It was great to listen to the sounds of the ocean. Yes the Motel is dated but very well maintained. Yes I could be a repeat guest. Ah, even if the walls are very thin.

Great little hotel. Clean, pleasant staff & literally in front of the beach. Water is like 200' from your back window. Not many features but has a fridge & there is a microwave in the front office. Would recommend

Perfect spot to immerse yourself in nature, right there on the beach, and walking along the bluffs. Sounds of waves, birds, all so relaxing. Motel is cute and basic, and good food is right next door and across the street.

Cons - 1) No air conditioning. Which is not unusual in the Bay Area but I sleep hot and didn’t feel safe opening a window in a one story building. Don’t get me wrong, THE AREA IS GREAT but one can never be too safe. 2) Paper thin walls. We could hear the conversations in the adjacent rooms. Pros - 1) GREAT VALUE for the money. 2) I could see the waves crashing from my bed. 3) Awesome service. 4) Comfortable beds. 5) SUPER conveniently located, close to everything local.

Hotel is located next to ocean. Beautiful view. Check in was fast and easy and parking was a breeze. Very friendly clerk at front desk. Hotel room is clean and comfortable, although a little small. Location was fantastic. Will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this hotel.

The construction crew was outside my room at 7:30am with loud equipment. That day the attendant was kind and apologized. Yet she was only about to reimburse me $25 for the inconvenience allowed by the management. Apart from that, my friends and I enjoyed the location and the room was clean and comfortable.

Please be prepared to a very cramped room. Upon opening door chlorine smell was so bad I had my eyes watering. People basically look right at your room as they walk by. The only saving grace is the ocean. Otherwise you would have to pay me to stay there. I can only see if as a quick stop on a road trip.

Nothing too bad, but the rooms are a little dingy, the bedroom itself is ok. The bedrooms have been recently redone, but the bathrooms are old and could be better updated. Overall a great place to stay!

Room was small but clean and comfortable. The lighting could be better...cold white lamps made it feel industrial.

So nice to be so close to ocean!

The manager and staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. I am definitely going back sometime soon!

The ocean is literally splashing in the parking lot. Sea breeze is a perfect name. Loved this place. Beautiful!

Can't beat the location. I wasn't expecting a 4 star hotel, and it wasn't, but rooms kept up well with nice, clean beds. Walls were thin and I could hear people talking next door. However, I liked the hotel policy of no loud noise after 10:00 PM. Guests seems to observe this. It would be even more fantastic if the rooms had screen doors or the windows would open so you could listen to the surf at night!

I'm not really a Motel person, but I booked this place for the ocean view, I was surprised how clean and comfortable the room was, although small, no coffee in room or microwave, had mini fridge, overall it was nice, has Nick's restaurant attached to it and did charge an incidental fee the the restaurant.

The ocean view is amazing. Staff was extremely nice. Rooms could use some updates but overall decent for the price.

No frills, but very clean & comfortable right at the beach! Celine (management) went out of her way to make me very comfortable - above & beyond the job. She is great. I will return because of the location, comfort, cleanliness and mostly because of Celine!

We came from the airport in an Lyft($30) if you have bags and your room is not ready they don't have stops they let us put them in the room while cleaning. NO AC ROOM WAS VERY HOT. WE HAD TO KEEP THE WINDOWS AND DOOR OPEN. We were there for just one night

The people were nice and the hotel was literally on the beach. They have no AC and they are just run down and tiny. The shower is a tiny stall shower and the bathroom was very much an old Motel.

It is a simple motel byt the ocean/beach location is GREAT ans the price is right!

Watched whales from our room window. Simple hotel and rooms not to big but location makes it a Jem. Location is amazing.

It was a great view when the parking lot in front of the rooms were gone ,super busy and no place to just relax by the room only inside it
