Location, comfortable beds, view, easy check in.

We didnt get there until 9:30 pm. There was a bell to ring for service and the person came right out. The process was simple and easy so it was greatly appreciated

This is a lovely little hotel at an affordable price. the room was clean. Nice bedding/pillows. Appreciated the microwave and fridge in the room. I loved that you could open the window and have fresh ocean air, and nice plantation blinds. Lots of cute places to eat and grab coffee near buy. The property had washer/dryer available for use, convenient ice, vending machines, large parking area. Just four blocks down from Winter's Tavern, in case you are coming up to the beach for music and don't want to drive home after drinking. We walked to breakfast at Pacific Cafe, which was wonderful, just two blocks away. A short walk down to the ocean just beautiful (windy/bring a fleece!). Will definitely use this hotel again.

The room was HUGE. Enormous. We had a king size bed (very comfy too) and there was at least room for two more and still have room to move around. We had a view of the sea though it was in the distance - which was appreciated. The check in was swift and slick. The staff were kind. The parking was free. Towel swans were very pretty. It's a dumb complaint - but the huge size of the room meant that the bed was a long way from the TV, so it was a bit hard to see for us older folks.

We liked the location, easy to get to the freeway and get into San Francisco. The room was big and the bed was comfortable. Liked the free parking. The key to enter the room was difficult to work. The towels in the bathroom were not very soft. The blinds do not make it very dark in the morning if you want to sleep late.

The room were very clean ,heat and ac worked well . Hot water is a must for me in the shower . i didn't see much staff but the one that i did see was friendly. Great location about 15 mins from everything. Airport , downtown, chase center , food and shopping .

The staff was pleasant and the room was large and quiet. It is a very quick drive to a local supermarket and several coffee shops and restaurants. I would consider this to be a budget travel option that gets you into a nice beach town with an easy drive to many communities south of San Francisco. There was a coffee pot, microwave, and fridge in the room, and vending machines in the hallways. I found the Pacific Drift to be a bare-bones accommodation in need of modernization. Everything was clean, however it is an older facility so things like the porcelain in the bathtubs was chipped, carpets are worn, decor is a bit aged, etc. Despite reaching out to the front desk for support, I was unable to maintain a reliable wi-fi signal in my room.

Overall great experience. There was a bit of mold in the shower. In several areas, I have allergies & this is a trigger for them.

I love the location. It felt safe and not far from the beach.. Hotel was very clean. The rooms were a little small and the mattress was very firm. It was an uncomfortable sleep. I could feel and hear the springs in the mattress when I would toss and turn.

The building smelled terrible the sheet smelled like cigarettes so you know those sheets was not changed . Elevator had some kind floral air freshener that made me nauseous.. I would not stay there again nor recommend this place

Not the cleanest definitely dated but its afordable for the area with great restaurants nearby. Staff were really nice and even provided extra blankets. If you go with the mindset of getting what you paid for its a good deal.

The staff was awesome they allowed us to check in early and store my nephew's small travel trailer in a parking spot. The area was convenient for our needs and easy to get into the city when needed.

Debris on counter in bathroom and table, scuffs on walls, very noisy right outside the window, but the worst of all was how the AC seemed to only make the room muggy and warm. It was cool outside during the day but our east facing window doesn’t have a breeze. We were quite warm and uncomfortable. Also given the cost you would expect some amenities like a small breakfast, an in building bar, etc. friendly staff, but that certainly doesn’t justify the $200+ cost for room rental for one night.

Owner was very attentive to our needs and the room was extremely clean, housekeeping is on point here! Everything seems to be kept in good condition. Wish there was some kind of breakfast because the area doesn’t have many options but overall we had a great stay. These people know how to run a hotel.

First off, we got confused on which hotel it was ended up being this one. The hotel was clean. It smelled like curry. The bed was very uncomfortable and the highway. Traffic was too noisy. For the price I definitely wouldn’t stay here. I would go to the other places around the area.

Spacious room and decent bed. There was a stain that looked like a blood spot on the carpet and the faucet in the shower was hanging out,needed replacement and the heater Never clicked on,however it was nice and quiet and i slept well!

I think we’ve always stayed on the other side facing the beach so we could see the water in the distance also the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Unfortunately, there was a overwhelminf fragrance in the elevator. And, the walls were thin. We woke up several times to furniture moving and noise in the hallway. We needed an extra blanket and pillows. But we never asked.

The front desk clerks were very nice, but the area seemed very sketchy, I didn’t feel very safe about our vehicle out front, so someone in our party slept in the car

I found two bugs crawling around the bathroom floor. When they came in to clean my room on the second day while I was gone, I came back to the air conditioner, turned off and my window open. I will definitely not be staying here again. The only saving grace was that it’s right down the street from the beach. It also didn’t seem to be located in the nicest area, but it did have free parking.

I love staying here! I have to stay here once a week and it’s always my to go to. Very easy to park, I get my room key fast. Had everything you need , I only stay for work ! Definitely recommend if needed to stay here for a night.

It's my 2nd or 3rd time at this hotel, the parking is a bit uncomfortable, the towels were super ugly and in bad condition and the noise: My God, I couldn't sleep but I already had the week paid and I couldn't leave. My experience was horrible because of those who were staying in the room above mine and the rest said.

We were staying here for a family event. It was close to all of our activities. Large room, very clean. Within walking distance of the beach and pier. Easy to access Pacific Coast Highway. Coffee and juice available in the morning and very close to local coffee spot, the Perfect Pour.

very dissapponted in the "breakast" just juice and/or coffee; no toast, biscuits or rolls; the creamer was powdered. I understand for the rooms, but for breakfast it would be a simple step up for service to have half and half or even whole milk.

Great spot for a great price! We were there because my dad was getting a medical procedure done and we didn’t want to stay in sf. It’s only about 25 minutes away from ucsf medical center. Short walk to a nice beach and plenty of spots to get good food. Soul Rice and Davids bagels are great. Quiet so dad could get the rest he needed even though it’s close to the main road you can’t really hear it.

I’ve driven by or walked by this property for years. It was convenient to stay here as my wedding was going to be a five minute drive away. I could walk to and from the beach and one of my favorite restaurants was about two blocks away. Shopping center was over the freeway bridge, so conveniently located. Nice medium budget inn.

Quiet, quant, desk person was efficient friendly & laid back. I felt bad for waking him up.

Very convenient and affordable places to stay a few blocks from the beach and close to eating and table wine tasting location.

It was a basic hotel. It had everything I needed in the location I wanted. Comfortable bed so slept well.

Always clean and the staff are very nice, never have any issues staying here. I love walking to the beach and there are places in walking distance to get a coffee or pastry and meals.

Pleasant surprise! The location is perfect if you want to walk to the pier and beach. Has washer and dryer and rooms were updated. We will definitely be staying here the next time in town.

Overall the hotel was really good, the room was clean. The washer and dryer were convenient. Only downside is I only saw someone at the front desk once out of the 5 days I was there.

Clean and easy. Bonus was the free parking. Loved the location - several cute little eateires and coffee shops located nearby. Some highway noise but, it definitely quiets down late a night. There was a bit of noise from the upstairs neighbors waking around - but nothing terrible. Would stay here again.

The only thing I would change is to have the room facing the west and not facing Hwy 1.
