    I paid for the upgrade. We were supposed to get bathrobes available to us in our room and there were none. The capital view was more like a highway view. The cost of the room was way too overpriced. There was also a lack of restaurant variety.

    The hotel is fine... nothing special and certainly not worth a premium price. The casino and surrounding shops are fine, but nothing special. This should be a $200-$250/night hotel.

    Check in was a bit tough since I didn't book directly through the hotel website, hindsight is 20/20. Overall beautiful hotel, very clean and modern. Great restaurants on site and perfect concert venue.

    We had a fantastic time on our trip. The only issue I had was the fact that the mini fridges come virtually unusable because they’re stocked completely full and I feel like you get charged for just looking at the items. They do offer an alternative if you need a real fridge for yourselves, but we were only staying one night so it was more of a hassle than it was worth to switch it out. Outside of that it was clean, the shower stalls are weird, and the staff is super friendly. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in town!

    Room 1917 had Mold in the shower roof. I also got charged 45 dollars extra on my ballet bill. Something about me arriving at 2:45am the first day. All that aside, it felt like the room did not match what I paid for. I over heard the front desk man say he gave our room to another customer. And the manager did not explain anything just gave us what I assume was a smaller room.

    Was not what we expected for MGM Grand. Not enough entertainment or things to do inside the casino. Very small casino, spa was amazing, but probably won’t be visiting again.

    The room was really clean and I liked the walk in shower. All of the staff were really helpful and answered all of our questions. It was hard to regulate the room temperature. That was the only thing we didn't like. The food was good at Bread and Butter Cafe and the casino had a lot of slot machines that were good. We will be back next year!

    My brother and I stayed in a room together. I had no privacy to change no door on bathroom area. I had to use closet and bath room door for privacy. Also no good breakfast spot and everybody loves breakfast. Had to leave facility to sit down and eat breakfast before getting on highway back home after paying almost 600$ and I have to leave the facility to enjoy a good breakfast. Never again.

    Room was clean, but not enough USB Ports for phone. Casino was very lively. Wish they had free breakfast. The theatre was great for Aaron Lewis Concert, bars were great. Location to National Harbor and Navy Yard is awesome

    Our room was not ready and they told us we not get the room we reserved (two queen beds) and that the could give us a king. We had 4 people on our reservation. And the man at the check in desk was very rude. We were there for a concert and expressed concern about making it on time for the show and his response was “are you performing?”- he was very rude while I was being clam and trying to be understanding. He also told me the over sold the hotel and were fully booked. I had made the reservation 3 months in advance. I have no real reason to ever stay there again. It am disappointed in a Marriott run hotel.

    Came for a concert and stayed the night. Room was spacious and very clean. The entire place was very clean. Didnt go into the casino, but it looked fun. One thing that did kinda hurt the ambiance was that late at night, we did see multiple people that appeared to be homeless, sleeping on the floor and on benches inside the resort. Our only real complaint was the toilet paper in the room. That stuff was pretty rough. Lol. But would definitely stay here again. Id just bring my own TP next time.

    Went for a concert. Won't go again. Average room with mediocre amenities, pod maker was functional but only given 1 regular and 1 decaf for 2 people. Had to watch a video to use fridge as they stocked the fridge, we only wanted to put waters in to keep them cold. Not worth it.

    Staff were professional and our room was very clean. We enjoyed our stay. There was an older African American woman working at the ticket desk right before our event/concert on Feb. 1st and she was so delightful, patient and extremely helpful. That type of customer service was refreshing!

They have those weird weighted snack bars systems in the room where if you accidently knock something over you are charged. The only plus I can think of is it's proximity to the Harbor. Staff were nice and accomodating.

    No, these were both fine. The one thing that upset us was that we were charged upfront an incidentals fee of $450 for 3 days. This charge is way excessive and then I was told it take 3-5 days faster your stay for to get a refund of this charge. I will not be returning to this resort

    Hospitality and customer service was amazing. However, the room was very dusty. There were broken items nowhere to hang your towels and the hot water would not come through for some reason, so there was no hot water. The show we went and saw started two hours late so that was disappointing.

The casino has something for everyone and was very clean as well. The steak house Voltaggio Brothers was incredible. From the service to the food it was worth every penny. The other food options that have a great. Only complaint is the parking garage is on the other side of the property so you it can be a long walk. If you have someone in your group that has issues with walking, is on crutches or you have a lot of items to carry you might want to drop off at the front door before going to the parking garage.

    I like the fact that we were steps from the casino and no one could go on the elevators unless they had a room key. I will say for a hotel this expensive, the room service food was HORRIBLE! The waffles straight from the microwave, the chicken tenders taste light something you would get out the frozen food section in the grocery store. We went to the Bread & Butter restaurant in the hotel and quickly realized it was the same food they served for room service. NASTY! The seafood and pizza place were pretty good. Overall, would I stay there again? No! For that price, I can stay in the harbor area nearby and take an Uber to the MGM and still have gambling money.

    To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my absolute and profound dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your establishment. My husband and I arrived on Thursday, Thanksgiving, to celebrate my birthday. What was supposed to be a relaxing and enjoyable getaway turned into an unmitigated disaster. Our initial experience was marred by the complete absence of hot water. After numerous unanswered calls, we were forced to descend to the front desk. An hour later, after a technician's supposed "fix," the water remained frigid. The manager's dismissive response, stating nothing could be done until other guests checked out, was utterly unacceptable. We were left without the ability to bathe from Thursday morning until Friday afternoon. To compound this insult, we were finally moved to another room around 5 or 6 AM, leaving us completely exhausted. The promise of a partial room credit to compensate for this egregious inconvenience has yet to materialize. Furthermore, a food voucher, which we were not informed about, was only discovered upon our checkout. The sheer incompetence and lack of concern displayed by your staff and management are appalling. This experience has irrevocably tainted my perception of MGM. I strongly advise anyone considering a stay to seek accommodations at nearby hotels. This was, without a doubt, the worst birthday experience imaginable.

    First off, the check in process was very confusing for us because it was our first time staying here. It would have been nice if someone explained to us how to get from the parking lot to the hotel before we had all of our suitcases in hand. It was very frustrating after a day of driving to not know how to get to our room (you have to go through two different elevators and through the casino). There also were not any luggage carts available, so the process really started our trip on a bad note. However, after that, the stay went smoothly. This was a honeymoon gift, so we did not have to pay for this experience. But I can say it would not have been worth the money if it was. For this price, we expected over the top service and an incredible room. And while the staff were friendly and the room was clean, it truly did not rock our world. The casino is fun. Ginger is DELICIOUS! We had a great time - but free is always fun.

    Overall my stay was fantastic, the room was spacious and very nice. The amenities inside the room mini bar, coffee machine, toiletries were great! My only real gripe was the restaurants, all of them had a different close time listed online and when I called the restaurants the servers/hostesses whoever answered the phone were very rude and one of them hung up on me for just politely pointing out the times online were different from what they were telling me.

    Phone in the room didn’t work. I had to use my cell phone to call the front desk or call for in-room dining— which I subsequently found out stops at 4pm during the week. Super disappointing. Tried room service the next morning and couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone. Average experience at best— particularly for a room that was over $500/night.

    We my husband and I spent one night after walking DC for 3 days , after check-in I went to the spa for a pedicure and relaxation , it was very nice and I felt better , we had a lovely dinner at Osteria , lost money in the slots and retired to room by 9 pm , no complaints

    The theme within the hotel is interesting and unique. I did not like that we had to walk from the parking garage across the entire property to get to the elevators to our room. They should have a separate parking lot for guests. The parking garage was quite full on Saturday.

    You can hear EVERYTHING coming from the bathroom and I do mean EVERYTHING, which I've never experienced in a hotel room before. The TV had a dozen strange backlights' obscuring the image as if the pixels were actively dying, and the NOISE all night long from the door rocking in its frame made it sound like someone was coming in, which woke me up several times in alarm. You can't be charging these prices for subpar facility conditions like this.

    The manager on duty Shelia was a gem. She was such a great help and she made sure her staff was on the job. Because of her expertise my sister who was visiting from Michigan will be coming back again. I have to say she really made us feel at home. Thanks Shelia for all that you do.     Needing a room key to get in the elevator and up to you floor isn't the most convenient either. If you forget it to run down and get some coffee, someone with a key has to come down and get you, so again really inconvenient. However, the worst issue was that a concert took place on a Saturday night while we were staying here, and us paying guests were left to park in an outside uncovered overflow lot and had to walk in the freezing rain to the hotel. Im sorry, but people paying to stay IN the hotel should be getting priority parking in the garages, not people coming for a concert and leaving. The security or whatever they had directing the massive traffic jam that occurred were incredibly unprofessional and rude. We asked where paying guests were expected to park and every response was one with attitude and an air of "I don't care that youre staying here, keep it moving." Again, this was at 7 or 8 o'clock at night, in the dark, with freezing cold rain that we were left to walk in. Absolutely will never stay here again

    I will never stay at this hotel again even if it’s the only hotel available. The staff gave poor service. I reserved dinner reservations at the expensive steakhouse which they took it upon themselves to cancel in Valentine’s Day after a confirmation without any explanation or call to their hotel guest. They try to charge you for everything! The mini bar is also a setup. It’s on a timer even if you don’t drink anything, they charge you for it. The restaurants are ridiculously overpriced. Room service even puts their own gratuity on your bill. They have the nerve after charging so much for a night for a standard room to get you to opt out of housekeeping. The TV only has options for you to rent movies or watch regular channels. Don’t think you can signin to Netflix or watch even HBO. Also it’s $150 a night deposit and $27 resort fee each night plus resort fee taxes. Do not stay here!!!

    I did take the bus to the harbor. The representative at the check-in desk said you pay a one-time fee of $5, and you can ride all day. You don't have to pay again. The bus driver said it was $4.25, and you have to pay each time. I paid for two people, and I didn't have exact change, so I put in $10. Coming back to the hotel, another driver said the price is $2.25 per person. Not sure why the first driver let me put in $10. This is not the hotel's fault; I just want them to know the cost is $2.25 for each ride. The drivers knew nothing about a one-time fee of $5.

    For the price I just expected more. I stayed for the night of Diana Ross concert. My room heat wasn’t working. Hotel send maintenance guy who is trained to say things that doesn't make since to explain the mishap. Finally after 3.5 hrs of freezing they relocates me, room service menu is not updated. The menu have food that’s not available and the food that was available was prepackaged and cold BUT!! the show was amazing !!! But I will never stay at MGM again. I stayed at MGM grand in Vegas and it was nothing like this.

    Great property, staff friendly and helpful. The pillows on the bed are too dense, too big for a petite person. They should have various types of pillows to accommodate all shapes and types of guests. There was no telephone in the room so I could not call front desk or housekeeping. Front desk did not ask how my stay was when I was checking out.
