Comfort Inn Oxon Hill - National Harbor

Room was decent, not flashly. Basic hotel rooml, met my expectations. The breakfast daily was very good.

The bathroom shower handle was difficult to figure out how to turn on and manipulate the hot/cold temperature. The floors were dirty. Staff was friendly and helpful, though.

Carpet in the main hall and chairs in the seating area were dirty; the carpet in the elevator was Filthy. Bed was nicely made and room was clean with the exception of very worn carpet. It took a while for the water to get hot at the sink. Somehow, we were locked out of our room and had to go back-and-forth to get reassigned to our original room. Breakfast was supposed to be over at 9:30 however at 9:15, there was no indication of any breakfast. There were mo beverages or coffee. When asked about it , we were told that it was broken.

The building was nasty had a smoke smell i changed rooms 3 different times and all of the bed sheets were dirty. Some had blood stains and urine stains

Worst part was the breakfast.. it was complementary but yet very bad. Surely, not the wirth of mkney I paid.

Old hotel. Room was comfy except for the mold on the bathroom ceiling. Good towels. They still give you individual bottles of shampoo, lotion, and soap. Bed and pillows were very comfortable; in fact, better than that a Hilton hotel in Silver Spring. Free parking. Safe. Free breakfast. It was perfect value for the price for one night. Close to the Navy Yards nd Nationals Park.

Overall hotel needs an update but the room was clean and the breakfast was good for a quick bite.

Roaches in my room. Overall, the facility is decrepit. No working gym. Elevator button held together with tape. The carpets are in bad need of replacement. Another guest said that it was the worse hotel they have ever stayed in. Extensive renovations are required.

Close to the Ronald Reagan airport The first room I got when I checked in 410 had a broken shower valve and was leaking water.. I was switched to 420 and it was quieter and clean. The lounge area furniture needs to be cleaned or updated furniture. The carpet in hallways and elevator were dirty.

There was a scary amount of black mold growing in the shower. The mechanism to control the temperature of the shower was broken. The sink had no stopper, and visible black goop growing near the top of the drain. The room smelled musty and awful despite the air conditioning going. There was paint peeling off the walls and splattered over the floors. Overall seemed unsanitary, unclean, and was worrisome that this place remains open and available to book through hotels.com.

Walked in and walked right back out even though the comfort inn refused refund my stay despite never checking in. The lobby is filthy, the furniture is torn and stained, and despite needing a keycard to use the lobby restroom it was covered in brown and red stains. I would not feel safe staying here. We ended up booking across the street and the staff there let us know that the comfort inn has a "reputation" and isn't somewhere you'd like to stay.

As we pulled up, there was a man taking a piss right outside the entrance to the hotel lobby. NO!! I’M NOT KIDDING !! The elevator carpet was pulled up in areas and smelled of pot. The comforter on our bed was dirty with stain spots. IT WAS SO NASTY WE DIDNT EVEN STAY OVERNIGHT!

Booking.com we belong to a dance team an book rooms all over front Louisiana to Maryland an we have study had problems with you all. We will not continue using all. We support 42 kids dance team an cannot afford these types of mistakes.

Location was convenient. Hotel interior was pretty worn down. Carpet was frayed, wrinkled and patched. Breakfast was ok but eggs were cold. No Greek yogurt only sugary yogurt. Only non processed food was an apple. You could hear bathroom usage into the room.

For a somewhat older hotel this place has clearly been maintained over the years. Everything was delightfully clean, stocked, friendly. My room was scent-free, clean and comfortable. Bed and pillows were comfy. Bathroom shower had very hot water available and terrific pressure. Front desk lady was very nice, and clearly familiar with their computer check in/out because it was quick and flawless. Location is safe and generous parking lot well-lit. Door card worked flawlessly. I do a bit of traveling each year so I can credibly say that most hotels don’t get all those important things right. This one did. A big thank-you to whoever is the managing authority here!

The lock on our door didn't work which felt unsafe. The customer service was rude. I felt like I was being belittled and treated like a child who didn't know anything. I'm an adult woman and it was exhausting. The overall experience was not great and resembled the kind you would get at a cheap motel.

Had expired food out for consumption (dairy products) even after a few of us said something they took them away but brought out more that were expired. Didn't eat there again after that since clearly they didn't care they were giving out expired food. Beds were way soft I literally laid down on both beds in the room and i literally was engulfed by the sink age of the Beds. I didn't really sleep well due to that and had major back pains from it. Felt like they don't rotate or change the beds out at all. Through out entire stay had either a smoke alarm or an alarm from another room going off every night between 2-215 am. I called the office every night but no one answered the phones and no one was at the desk for me to bring it up.

I saw stains all over. We were moved to a new room which the hot water did not work well and did not drain properly. We asked for assistance and they came but said the water was warm and there was nothing they could do for us. The water was definitely cold, so I’m not sure what the issue was with saying it was warm. This room was also not cleaned well either. The staff was okay at best. I would NEVER return. I have pictures and videos of everything. Honestly, this place should be torn down if possible.

There were a smell as if there have been smoking in the hallway on the second floor and even in the room, which caused my migraine to start. The bathroom area was half clean, behind the sink the granite was cracked. I got up and left. I am still dealing with my migraines, I had to get that smell off of me.

I rated this hotel three stars. Overall, the hotel was clean, and the staff was friendly, which I appreciated. That said, the service at the front desk needs improvement. Upon arrival, I had to wait approximately 15 minutes to check in because no one was present at the desk. Additionally, access to the gym requires a separate key. When I went to the front desk to obtain the gym key, I had to wait another five minutes for someone to assist me. While these delays were inconvenient, I would say that for the price, the stay was acceptable. With better front desk coverage and clearer access to amenities, this hotel could provide a much smoother guest experience.

The staff was very pleasant and the bed was very comfortable. There appears to be some remodeling happening so the floor/carpet was pulled up which made the hotel look a bit run down.

Unfortunately, the room had roaches. I was not pleased by this . I actually left the room and stayed somewhere else for the night which was not my plan. Staff was notified and a message was added regarding my room. Awaiting feedback from management. I would appreciate to discuss the matter further with them.

I booked here because of the reviews. Location and price were good. Not the best looking spot looked like renovations were taking place on our floor. The beds were quite comfortable but the walls were thin as paper. Also appeared people lived there long term. The furniture off from the lobby had a huge stain they may want to inspect the dining furniture especially something so visible to the entrance.

There were cockroaches in the restroom, I just checked in and went to room I saw that bathroom is not so clean and cockroach is running around, I went back to lobby and asked if they can refund me, they offered to changed the room but I refused and they refused to refund so I checked out. They charged me for full night however I wasn’t there even for 5 minutes.

Our hotel stay was very bad starting from the point when we entered the establishment. We had to wait for a while before the lady came to the front desk to help us and then she treated it as if it was an inconvenience that we were there. The elevator was so dirty and it stunk like old sweat in the hallways as well.. We get to the room and it definitely wasn’t clean very well and the toilet paper roll was half used. The tub was dripping water all night long. The bed was so extremely uncomfortable and springy. Your elbows literally go into the springs. Between the refrigerator and the air conditioner that was so loud we barely got a wink to sleep. The only thing we wanna do was get out of there we go down thinking we’re gonna at least try to grab a bite to eat before we leave Outside. If there was hardly anything to choose from the waffle station was empty and the food was cold so we just gave up and we left. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone.

My check in was great she was awesome. The hotel had a recent flood and the 3rd and 4th floors smelled bad. I had to request a refund due to the smell because my asthma was kicked into 3rd gear.

The hotel was doing renovations because of a previous water issue (carpet getting wet). The 1st room we were in tv didn't work. So we were moved to another room. The room and floor had a mildew smell. And there was water damage and mold in the ceiling in the bathroom. Also when the shower was on the water didnt go down the drain. And we were to be contacted by a manager and no one has reached out. And they even forgot to give us a receipt.

There was mold in the bathroom, the curtain did absolutely nothing to hold the water in when showering. The bathroom door didn't click shut. There were various stains on the hallway carpets. And almost all of the workers were rude.

Great price for the location. Not the best OJ and i didn't have breakfast because i had it offsite. Room was clean and quiet.

like every Comfort Inn that I ever stayed at, it always has dirty smelly carpets and stinks of smoke. I think this will be my last option next time. I don't expect your survey to change that so what's the use wasting my time.

I enjoyed my stay

The property was in disrepair and decaying everywhere. Paint peeling, pubic hair in the beds, the sheets were not changed, the shower was broken, and the floor had large visible pieces that had not been vacuumed.

I enjoyed my stay at the property. My room was clean. The staff was professional and friendly and my bed was comfortable. I truly enjoyed my stay and will be back.

This property was very outdated and required many updates to the rooms as well as the interior overall. I would not reserve a room at this property if I am in the area again. Much work is needed to the property.

Really need an uplift

The photos of the hotel are very deceiving. The building was dirty inside and out. The furniture in the lobby and in the room was stained and gross. There was mold in our bathroom. The carpet in our room was worn down to a bare spot. The ceiling tiles throughout the building were stained and moldy. There was a burn hole in one of our bedsheets. There was a used tampon beside the pool. This hotel was disgusting and I felt guilty for making my family stay there.

Bad: There was no remote in the room and the ceiling in the bathroom was leaking down onto the toilet. My clothes got wet.

I booked room in third party app so the ratings didn't match hotel the carpets so dirty nasty in hallways and room just disappointed best part close to MGM

I don’t like anything there, I was fraud of money, I paid and you guys don’t suppose to have access to my account and I paid for deposit twice without refund, toilet is noisy, fridge not working, they don’t come to clean the next day until you check out.

Room smelled like cigarette smoke. Directly below room window was a junk yard with old broken equipment and trash from the hotel. The parking lot behind the hotel has no outdoor lighting. I went to park there but saw people sitting in a vehicle parked back there and immediately returned to find parking out front of the hotel where there is some light.

The room had blood stains on the floor and wall. Trash on the floor. Bed was lumpy. The lobby smelled musty. The room smelled. The food was not good.

Poorly kept up Room was ok. Shower handle was broken. Unacceptable.

Room 201 bathroom exhaust fan not working and the ceiling appeared to be saturated from water or steam. The a/c quit on the second night. The room supposed to be designated as non smoking room. Yet it smells like crap. I will never again book a room from comfort inn.

Older building, needs some basic renovation. Good for a night and convenient to the casino, but basically just a room. Shower stall needs work. Also held my deposit for 3 weeks and had to call several times about it. Nice people, iffy facilities.

As soon upon my arrival, I received my keys and the person at the front desk wanted me to pay an extra $100 for a smoke fee. Since I don’t smoke she gave me my room keys. On the next day after our stay. We were with my sick mother. Which required working with her to eat get exercise. Upon returning to the room it wasn’t serviced After commuting with the supervisor the service slowly got better. Although, when it didn’t get serviced. One particular service persons attitude was to back mouth under her breath but loud enough for me to hear her and my wife to hear on two separate occasions strange body language and talking negatively under their voices on each request made. We contacted Expedia and filed a complaint. After several days comfort inn did not grand our request to refund findings another hotel.

My stay was canceled because i didnt show up the first day. The beds should have been replaced 10 years ago. The first room i had the shower was broken and the room smelled terrible.

This was a last minute hotel request after being at the casino. The room was clean, but most of the hallways, appliances, walls, floors, all looked dirty and unkept.

Descent hotel, good for the price, but small details here and there removed a few stars. There's tiny body lotion which is not enough for even one person, ripped drapes on the window and overall cleaningness of the place could be better. I might not have been lucky with the room, but that's what I had

The hotel is not well maintained

The hallways had a bit of a stale odor to them. The tub faucet in the bathroom was not functional, so we could not bath or shower. We could only sit in the tub and get wet.

We had an excellent stay. Love the breakfast.

Un pleasant recepcionist almost throw the room key at me. He was in a bad mod. And elevator , hall and room smell like marihuana .

Phyllis of front desk staff was lacked basic customer service skills. Not helpful, borderline offensive. Beware that they copy and want to keep a copy of your drivers licenses

Hotel a bit dated and the room we stayed in needed a more detailed cleaning - especially in the bathroom, black mold observed on shower head & shower walls, faucet did not operate as designed. Notified front staff immediately but front desk did not schedule maintenance performed till after our 2 nigh stay. Disappointed with staff response. You get what you pay for
