The facility and grounds are well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our suite was spacious and clean. However, the hotel needs updating. Also the breakfast could be more appetizing. Overall, our experience was very good.

This stay included breakfast which was bad scramble eggs and sausage patties. There was waffle makers as well. The juice machine did not work at all. No fruits or water bottle to take with you. Not sure if the staff knew how to make coffee. It was totally blend, tasted watered down. Very disappointed in my stay.

the room was very nice and spacious! the hotel itself is a little outdated and the breakfast was minimal. not a lot of options but the breakfast times were good considering most other places they are super early in the morning. the staff was pleasant and helpful. overall not bad for the price paid.

The check-in staff were helpful, allowing us to park early and storing our bags until our room was ready. However, when we returned and checked into our room, we were greeted by a mould-like smell, which I believe was coming from the air conditioning. The bathroom door wouldn’t close properly, and the main room door was marked and damaged from repeatedly banging against the wardrobe. The swimming pool and surrounding patio area were filthy and clearly not being maintained. Breakfast was very limited, with very little choice available. The free Universal transfer was a clapped-out van with wires hanging from the ceiling. By the time people from other hotels had boarded, it was standing room only, and passengers had to hold onto the seats because there were no handrails in sight. Overall, this was a cheap stay, and unfortunately, it was very much a case of getting what you pay for.

Location is good. Warning, do not go to this hotel: Double Booking. The management books the same room on a per hour basis to travelers flying later in the afternoon - evening. They count on families spending most of the day in Universal - Disney and checking in late in the evening. We left our luggage at 10AM in the hotel. They told us the room would be ready by 3PM. We got back from Universal at 9PM and we had no room. We couldn´t check in until 10pm as our room was given to another traveler. After calling the manger , supervisor and making a big deal they refund me for 50% of the price but more importantly they gave us a room. They lost nothing as they charged twice for the same room but they ruined our first night.

The location was excellent right by the Universal studios. The staff was was very friendly. The room is a really good size. I liked the kitchenette very much. As I washed my fruits etc. The bed was comfortabel, and area was quiet. The floor in our room was a bit dirty, needed mopping, our socks were dirty walking on the tiles by the entrance bathroom area, I removed a sticky thing off the floor, not sure is left overs from Pets. Sheets/comforter didn't appear to have been changed.

The staff was amazing especially Francesca she was awesome and helped us with all of our questions and went above and beyond for us! Perfect location for universal and they have a shuttle bus to universal at 8:15.

Great location to Universal Studios and international drive outlet mall.Shuttle service was offered to save you the 45-50 dollar parking fee. Breakfast was good ! Scale in lobby for weighing luggage was nice! I loved having fridge and microwave in the rooms. Bathrooms could be updated and more modern. More fruit options at breakfast.

We checked in late and soon after getting in our room, we realize that the toilet was not flushing properly. My mom went downstairs to let the front desk know and was handed a plunger my 68-year-old mother was handed a plunger. No accommodations to move us to a different room or apologies made. We’ll never stay here again.

everything thing about the room felt "gently used." Scuffed furniture and doors, very little soundproofing from the hallway, you can hear the pipes struggling when turning on the shower.

They have a front desk who speaks portugues she helped a lot. Breakfast can be improved with more fruits (quantity) easy parking

DO NOT BOOK HERE!! I booked a 4 day stay through a third party site and since I would be checking in late I called per the hotels instructions. Rather than confirm the details were in order the guy was more obsessed with trying to sell me on the Wyndham timeshare. When I arrived I was told the hotel had cancelled our reservation and wouldn’t issue me a refund. So not only did I lose out on $467 for the room I had to spend another $740 for a completely different hotel. Thank god I had some extra funds otherwise I would have had to sell my concert bracelet to get back home

We liked the pool, the ample space in the rooms, laundry and the location. Room was cleaned every day during our stay. Staff was super nice! Breakfast was pretty boring, they didn’t change it up not even a bit. The lids for the coffee cups weren’t even the correct size. Not enough sunbathing benches/chairs in the pool area, only 2.

Room was clean and it was very close to Universal Studios. There is a free shuttle to Universal. I was told there was an airport shuttle by a staff member and then told there isn't one. The breakfast is absolutely terrible. They need better hot and cold items. There is an IHOP right next door. Parking seems plentiful although I wasn't driving.

The bed was very comfortable abd the location was very close to Universal. Staff were also friendly. The shuttle was not big enough and wasn't frequent. Also the breakfast was good but basic and lacked choices.

Transportation to and from universal studios My room was horrible. Loud AC unit, mold on my bathroom ceiling,terrible smell in the hallways, toilet seat was loose. Stains on my sheets, carpet look and felt disgusting

A/C unit was broken in our room. I asked for assistance with the unit and a maintenance technician was sent to fix it and he just shrugged and left. Since we were staying only one night, it wasn’t worth the fight to get him back or request a change. But, come on! Florida, you need A/C units to function properly.

The beds were super comfortable and the breakfast was excellent The helpers at the breakfast could have been nicer, they seemed fairly impatient to get things wrapped up when breakfast was over. They even turned off the water function on the juice machine...come on people. Hate to say it because we did have a nice time but the water wasnt as hot as it could have been.

Very convenient location. Very dated and not the cleanest. Most of the staff were pleasant but not all. The lady at the front desk the morning we left was exceptional. I wish I had gotten her name. I believe she said she was from a South American country, maybe Peru or Chile.

Good location, free parking, check-in was fast, friendly staff, coffee and tea available all time, wifi, breakfast included but it just bread, waffles, scrambled eggs and bacon that's it. We just stayed for one night, but if it was for more nights I couldn't. Carpets in the room are dirty, the room has smell of people's perfume, outdated facilities, not enough lightning.

Staff was nice , the breakfast was good and a nice touch, they provide hot coffee 24hr so that was great. General appearance of hotel is good inviting. The problem is the rooms. They are outdated when it comes to the bathrooms especially. Our toilet was loose not held down so it would move around a bit. I went to use the outlet in the bathroom for my hair dryer and it was not working so i pressed the reset button and the hotels blow dryer went off and started to smoke. Onlet the staff know and they said thanks ...someone came in to see it and was like oh its fine dont worry here use this dryer instead. Safe to say i did not use the outlet or dryer again..... over all it was good experience juat hope they get a chance to update rooms. Room was clean , i always check for bed bugs and it seemed clear of them. Beds are ok nothing to rave about .

The hitel is located very close to Universal Studios & Islands of Adventure. It was really easy to get to the park. There was a Taco Bell, KFC, and IHOP right in the parking area. All three were within a couple hundred yards. The lobby was welcoming. The bed was uncomfortable. I can be finicky about beds, so I don't usually put my opinion in a review, but my wife woke up many times during the night. The door door to the room wouldn't shut completely, even when using a shoulder to try and slam it. The only thing keeping the door shut was the secondary lock. There was a smashed vehicle with broken glass all around the parking spot. I realize that the property doesn't have total control over that, but I would think they could get it cleaned up within a few days.

Overall, I am impressed and it is a budget- friendly hotel that is located within close proximity to Universal theme parks. Breakfast was decent and it featured the same items everyday. It would have been great to include items such as yogurt and could have include hard boiled eggs as an alternative for those who do not consume scrambled eggs. Staff members are friendly and courteous. The housekeepers are doing a great job in maintaining the cleanliness standards of the rooms and it feels refreshing to see your room spick and span after being outside in the sweltering Florida sun throughout the day. I would return definitely return back to this hotel for my next Orlando adventures.

Breakfast was a bit disappointing. I was a given an ADA room (I didn't need one, but I think it was the last available option) and the shower was awful. The shower wand was broken. The curtain didn't hold back any water. I can't imagine how a person with limited mobility would take a shower in there. There was no room to use the shower head without constantly touching the curtain. Coming from a cold NH winter I had hoped to use the pool, however it was not clean at all. On the other hand, the staff was so pleasant, welcoming, and accommodating! They get an A+ rating.

There is absolutely no place to sit outside anywhere in the hotel unless you go in the pool area. The rooms do have both a mini fridge that has a freezer and a microwave. Rooms were clean, great water pressure and the water gets hot. The hallway on the 3rd floor did have kind of a misty and stale smell. Overall this is a good hotel for a quick one night stay but we wouldn't stay for a multi night week again.

The fire service were present and I heard them saying they would need to condemn the building. We were never actually told anything by the hotel staff in the 90 minutes between being woke up by the fire alarm (at 7:30am) and when we decided to pack up and leave/check out. The fire service never even told the guests if it was safe or not to re-enter the building. I felt for sorry for the hotel staff during this ordeal, but I do think some kind of safety guidance should have been giving to the people outside wondering if it was safe to return to their rooms.

I will be honest I booked this room thinking I would have a good experience but I didn't. The breakfast was very limited like it was continental breakfast, the rooms need upgrade there is not enough counter space to place things at all and the rugs in the room horrible they look old and dirty definitely needs an upgrade. For the price it's not worth it my point of view.

My lower rating is due to the sleep quality - bed was really hard and uncomfortable and pillows are to small and too soft. I barely slept.

Staff and clean room

Had one front desk lady that was amazing and helpful. The washer wasnt working well and laundry had to dry out clothes as it was soaking wet. We asked to change the sheets but i don't believe the top sheet counted as there was stains still evident. Room wasn't cleaned during one day that we asked, they later came by and cleaned after 4pm. The hotel was ok overall. Breakfast was meh. Otherwise close to theme parks and dining options

We were stayed for 3 nights with Kids. Nice place and easy accessible for restaurants and Universal studio/Sea world. Highly recommend

Overall good stay. Super close to universal. Rooms could use updating. Only issue is breakfast is below average for hotel breakfast. Eggs are bad. Breakfast staff waited over 30 minutes to clean up spilt cereal in center of breakfast area. They ran out of forks and had customers looking for them in cabinets instead of stocking themselves. Seemed understaffed for breakfast time.

The lifts are scary too. When your floor approaches the lift goes extremely slow giving you a heart attack. The receptionist was a bit too stern with me and when I was there at the front desk they were away and i had to wait. When I told them I was waiting, they were like I was in the ladies! That is so unprofessional. Hope senior management go through my feedback.

Quick and easy check in. The receptionist was very polite and even let us pick the floor. This was a last minute quick getaway and we were literally close to everything. We came for universal and it’s not even 10 minutes away. And they have a shuttle as well.

The room itself was clean and decent for the amount paid. The breakfast was subpar compared to other buffet breakfast hotel options I've had. The beds were hard and the pillows pretty flat. All in all, though, the room was adequate for my needs and met expectations.

We were able to keep our car here even we checked out that day and use the shuttle to go to the park ,saved us some money because parking at Universal is over $30.00. Rooms a spacious, bed a comfortable, location is awesome, overall a great stay

The hotel was great but the claim of having a buffet was exaggerated. The eggs were powder and there was no fruit what so ever. There was hardly any bread choices. The waffle was good. The sausage Pattie’s were cold and very small. No room service. It was close to universal.

We stayed here during our recent trip to Universal Studios. It is extremely close to the park. The hotel was clean and the person checking us in was very friendly. The breakfast was good and consisted of pancakes, waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, juice, and cereal. They have a shuttle to Universal but it only runs once per day. I recommend taking an Uber or Lyft as it is only around $7.

We got there and they gave us an occupied room then when I go tell her she didn’t believe me! I said well then it didn’t get cleaned since someone’s things are in there. The last day there was no water because a pipe burst. Will not be staying here again!

Economical and clean hotel. Ive stayed in plenty hotels in the area and this one for the cost, service, and bed comfort is my top three picks. Breakfast could be so much better. Sausage were overcooked and burnt. Eggs were watery not appealing. Coffee quality was not the best either. However, the cleaniness and upkeep of the property makes it worthwhile for a budget stay! Enjoyed my stayed.

Bathroom walls and tubs were a bit worn down.... peeling and mold is the only reasons I can't give 5 stars.

It's a small place not far from Universal Studios. It's in terrible need of refurbishing. There were stains on the ceiling in the bathroom and mold on the grout in the shower. the breakfast was gross and what gets me is they put a tip jar out .. FOR WHAT .. this person is getting a normal hourly wage. it's not like they are serving us. WHY????

Upon walking in we were greeted in a pleasant manner, the rooms were clean and all the hotel staff we came in contact with were very nice with us.

Cons- stayed for a week and breakfast was subpar. The selection was small and the pans of eggs and sausage seemed to be empty no matter if we came in at 0715 or 0930

PROS: Room size is perfect! Clean rooms. Clean bathrooms. Kitchenette in the suite has a table. Breakfast has many options. CONS: Beds are a little hard for our liking. In our room we were in there was a small dip in the carpet where the floor underneath is lower for some reason that you have to be careful for because I somehow sprained my ankle on.

This property was easy to get to, very close to the Universal parks, quiet location and had an amaxing breakfast spread. Excellent value, we will definitely book tjis location for our future visits to the Universal area parks

The lady at check in was very rude and not welcoming, she had the worst attitude and personality, she definitely doesn’t need that job, the sink was stopping up really bad and it took so long for the water to get hot it was about to run over, the room was dusty, the curtains were filthy and so was the carpet, we had a family of 4 and constantly had to ask for enough towels for 4 people, we checked out and got the same rude individual that checked us in and she never acknowledged us when we walked up she said you can put the key in the basket, she never thanked us and asked how was our stay, we typically love Windgates by Wyndham and never had a problem until this horrible experience, we will never stay here again, we chose this because it was convenient to universal but never will make this mistake again.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond and all were very helpful. The breakfast buffet consisted of juice bar, hot coffee & tea, scrambled eggs, sausage, make your own fresh pancakes or waffles, bagels, toast, cereals. Very good value for a nice, clean place to stay. We tried one of the local restaurants recommended by hotel staff, Agave Azul and it was fabulous! This is a great place to stay if you are going to Universal Orlando and there is a shuttle to the park.

Great cost benefit

My stay was good, room was large enough and I had the double queen bed room with mini fridge and microwave. I like that the safe had an actual key instead of a combination. Breakfast was the same thing the 3 days I spent there. After day 1, I opted for tea and fruits. Walking distance to takeouts,#40 bus to Mall of Millenia and I-Ride trolley ride outside was a plus.

There was old food baggies left under the chair in the room, I discovered LATE at night, so when housekeeping came that morning, she quickly removed them. Also there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance and downside was the toilet kept refilling every 10 to 15 minutes, and the breakfast options was left to be desired and limited, NO FRESH FRUITS and the orange juice was not working, during our entire stay, Fri- Sun. BUT, I WILL SAY THAT THE LADIES WORKING BREAKFAST WERE AWESOME....GREAT JOB LADIES!!!

I LOVED my stay here, I had an amazing time. The staff was 10/10! The breakfast was amazing, it’s the same thing everyday but who cares! There was daily housekeeping as well which was amazing. The TV was huge. The room seemed updated too which is nice!

Property looked safe, easy parking, staff nice. Our room had sugar ants in it, which were in all my kids sweets and cups. We bought a box of cookies from Insomnia and the ants transfered from our cookie box to our car because we had no clue. Until we we opened the box up after loading our items and I had a hard time getting rid of the ants out of my car right away! I asked fir compensation and received nothing! So i won't stay here again!

There wasn’t much water available. You could get some from the vending machine at $3.50 per bottle and it doesn’t take credit cards. Good luck to ya! Housekeeping was outstanding.

Liked the room and the fridge with freezer and microwave as well as complimentary breakfast was AWESOME.
