The rooms are clean and location is very convient to the attractions. The only con I have is that the beds are are not comfortable. I used a pillow to lay on in the bed because it was not soft enough.

Great place to stay rooms were nice and clean, pool was a good size. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, breakfast was amazing. The lobby area had different family friendly activities to enjoy and plenty of seating. The only downside was having to pay for the parking at the hotel property.

It was a great over night stay before our Disney resort, however keep in mind the water smells so bad. From the shower to the water fountain. But that’s most of Florida. Other than that, great stay and great breakfast.

I didn't like the fact that there was no closet or drawers but I guess that's just the how TRU is. Other than that staff was great, the place was clean and the kids had fun in the lobby. The breakfast was good and they changes the side everyday. One day it was turkey sausage, next day bacon, next day for sausage and our last day was ring sausage.

The staff is the reason for the 5 stars. They even gave welcome water which other hotels in the area charge for. The room was clean. The gym functioned well for what I needed. Breakfast had good options. The air conditioner in the room is a bit noisy but it wasn’t so loud that I couldn’t sleep. The area surrounding the hotel is okay. The price is better than the other hotels which were in the area. I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel is close to the convention center, so they are fully prepared to handle the influx of customers they deal with on a regular basis. Highly recommend.

The breakfast was a deal breaker. It was fresh every morning and was different everyday. The room was clean and tidy. You do have to pay to park at $21 a day but other than that I would stay there again

This concept has everything you need if you are spending a couple of days in Orlando for work or play. Good location near the convention center. The 24 hours complimentary coffee is a hit!

I would say try and find another location. This was a bare minimum hotel. Although newish and clean, the rooms were small and really not equipped to hold much. We only stayed for one night, had we stayed longer, not sure we would have been able to keep our belongings in the room. Very cheap. I would not stay here again. Also, everything was extra. We could have stayed elsewhere for the same price or a little more. Location was the only thing that was very good.

The check in process was quick and easy. I like that the rooms do not have carpet and that the room is spacious. I did not get breakfast, but I saw the options as I was leaving for my flight and it looked great. This is my second stay and I would return again.

The room was good and clean. The breakfast could be better, it was not good and the coffee taste like old coffee.Paying $22 for parking daily was frustrating. I had better stays in Orlando. Not planning coming back.

Bed was a bit hard pillows super soft they get flat middle of the night. Location perfect to aquatica 6 mins away. Parking was very limited even tho you pay. Luckily I have a handicap pass.

Had to check out and check in somewhere else because there was lights blinking on and off and overall not very friendly for our kids. No help to bring luggage, and you have to pay for parking even though guest attending same event who aren’t staying don’t have to pay

There was pubic hair in the bathroom upon entering. I paid for double queen bed with bathtub so I can wash my children. There was an open shower . I didn’t bother telling staff because we were in and out of there

Breakfast was subpar! One of the desk people was very confrontational about what another, more helpful person told us the night before. She got us all spun up before going to our granddaughters volleyball game. Probably won’t be back to one of your hotels. The cost was what was attractive to us, but after adding nightly parking, it was no deal! Just add it to the room cost!

Room was fair for the price and A/C broken, toilet ran constantly, and blinds to keep out light missing...staff said they'd have it checked at 1pm, no one showed, so reminded them at 9pm upon return. They moved me to a working room after maint. checked...better late than never, but moving at 9:30pm when I was checking out at 6am a pain...they offered a free bar drink for my troubles!!

I loved that they had gathering areas in the foyer as well as pool table and games. We loved that the doors were solid so no hallway sounds. Also the room has laminate wood vs carpet. Felt clean and crisp.

Loved the hotel for our 1 night stay. We had a handicap accessible room which was amazing. The lobby is great. Only complaint was the bed and pillow. The bed was too soft. Like you sank in and it actually hurt our backs. It was hard to get out of into my wheelchair. And the pillows had no life they were thin and limp. But replace the mattress and pillows and we would stay again no questions asked.

Desk staff checked in frequently on the app making sure the stay was going well. That was pretty awesome. Very welcoming. Breakfast bar Monday morning I didn’t eat. As I checked out the breakfast 3 ladies on staff were just standing together whispering to eachother as I walked by. No greeting or anything. I’m used to it as a single dad raising a little girl it’s just annoying. Tuesday staff was friendly greeted welcomed me and we ate. The breakfast was fresh and very delicious actually.

I usually stay at Hyatt hotels, so I noticed that this one had a good rate and positive reviews. However, when we went to check in, they charged a $20 parking fee—which, in the end, meant the total cost was the same as if I had stayed at the Hyatt. When we entered the room, the floor was covered in sand, and the bathroom wasn't very clean. We didn't have a good experience.

When I booked the room, I did not realize that there was no in room coffee machine. Even though they have 24 hour coffee in the lobby - when you stay on the fifth floor, you really don’t wanna come down first thing in the morning (in pjs) to get coffee to go back up to your room. Plus, the room is all hardwood/tile flooring. It would’ve been nice to have something by the bed to wipe your feet off before you got into bed.

Staff was the best honestly. I will say the cleaners I feel like either skipped cleaning our room or just weren’t aware there were people in it. Our room wasn’t clean/ sheets weren’t changed nor a single day were there. We had to ask for sheets and towels and changed them ourselves

I got the digital key, it worked fine for like 3 times. 10pm at night trying to go to my room it says “key requested” had to go back down stairs wait in line for them to reactivate key no explanation to why it suddenly disappeared and I couldn’t access my room. (Same day within hours) our tv kept messing up. The picture would have lines and scroll up all of a sudden. If you turned it off then back on then it would work for a few minutes then go back.

The room was cold because the heater unit did not work. I asked other guests, and they confirmed that they had no heat. I went to the front desk, and they said that all rooms had the same problem. She said she would have houskeeping add another blanket. That never happened.

This is the first time I have paid for parking in the hotel property parking lot for guests. I stayed 5 days and paid more than $100 (per day $20.00) treat like private parking. So please prepare to pay, as it has caused me significant disappointment. Otherwise, the rest of my experience has been satisfactory honestly.

We were in room 817. The first thing I noticed was the sink in the bathroom did not drain. I had a full sink in a couple of minutes brushing my teeth. Next was the a/c. The unit made loud noises and my husband could not sleep with it on. So in Florida I had to turn the a/c off which made it a horrible night. We weren't the only ones. Several people also complained in the breakfast area.. It was one of those inside a/c; not like central a/c. They need to replace them. The positives are the first floor for families, the convenience to the convention center and the new design. I complained to the front desk with no response.

If you are on the budget this hotel is for you , you get basically what you paid for , hotel is on great location very convenient to accessing themes parks and other surrounding , its decently clean has great swimming pool huge one..but there is also downside other amenities are missing , in your room you dont have coffee maker, you dont have safe , you dont have closet to put close few hangers etc they clean room every other day and breakfast is so busy and crowded you have to fight your way to get bagel or pancakes its small area very basic breakfast same every morning and no service to help you with anything I stayed this time for 6day vacation like I said it was budget friendly but what I know now if I knew before I would pay little more extra and choose different hotel ,I can't go more than 3 star and thats being generous...

A couple things could be better: the breakfast quality was hit-or-miss (the sausage on 1/1/2025 wasn’t good), and we had to call for extra towels. When they brought them, the used towels from the day before were left on the bathroom floor, which didn’t feel very hygienic.

Extra pillows on bed so two per person would be better. We should have asked but got in super late. The lot was extremely full but we parked along side. Every thing else was great and clean. Staff super helpful and nice!

How clean the place was

The best feature was the lobby. it had a lot of area to enjoy time with family and friends. Lots of places to sit, chat, play pool or sit up at the bar. The reason I downgraded the rating is the room and nightly parking fee. The room felt very dormish. No closet. no dresser. everything was either a shelf or pegs. the biggest was no coffee pot in the room, So you had to get ready and dressed just to go downstairs and grab a cup of coffee. I like to have a cup of coffee in my room while I'm getting ready to go to whatever event I have to attend. Also not happy I had to pay $20 a night for parking.

Amenities and breakfast

The room was very clean, and the whole facility appeared to be updated and modern. There were plenty of towels and bathroom toiletries. Also, it was quiet and in a great location. The breakfast was a nice bonus. They served toast, bagels, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, and all kinds of cereal. Juices, coffee, tea and milk ere also included, along with fresh fruit.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room clean but small a basic. I really missed the coffee machine and a blanket and a real closet. I don’t think I will stay again in a Tru I’m used to have more comfort when I stay at Hilton.

Pancakes with real butter were very good. The last two nights of our stay the heat in our room did not work. The HVAC blew cold air. My understanding is corporate can control the HVAC from where they are. Outside temperature got down to 49 degrees in the area. We loved our stay at TRU. I hope the penny pinching doesn't ruin them.

The room was ok. The free breakfast was a disaster day after day. The food was bad and the variety was worse. I've stayed a tru hotels several times and the breakfast has been decent. Not this time.

Doors are super loud so when people are entering and exiting their room you can hear it. The service was OK. It feels like you're entering a gym when you walk into this hotel. Cleaning service is every other day which is terrible. It is located close to Seaworld and it is quiet at night close to the police station, but not my cup of tea of a hotel.

Very nice hotel and the stay was great and the bedding and pillows and comforters was excellent however, when housekeeping began, it was still quiet hours before 9 AM and it was extremely loud. That was my only complaint.

New, clean, sufficient breakfast, carpet-free room, glass shower in the bathroom, excellent value for money!

The room was not cleaned. They didn't reset the alarm clock from the previous visitors, so we got a bunch of alarms in the middle of the night. When my wife called to ask how to shut it off, they just hung up on her, and then they called directly to the room which again woke my son up. The manager was a jerk at check-in. They charged more for parking than we were told. Otherwise it was fine.

The staff was fine, really no issues with them. There were cops at the front of the hotel a few nights in a row not sure why, we found multiple small roaches in the room and bathroom a couple days into our stay, there was a bright blinking light coming from fire alarm in the room and kept waking me, the water pressure from the sink was dismal.

As for the cons, the water pressure in the bathroom is very low and the ac unit is loud when starting up. The entrance light and side light above the mirror seems to be broken as they didn't turn on. There is only one old microwave in the entire hotel and the breakfast line is not replenished quickly. Also not sure why there is a parking fee as the patking lot is a regular parking lot on property .

Had to wait in line 43 minutes to check in. Line was to the door and only 1 person at desk. When we got to breakfast an hour and 15 minutes before it was supposed to end the warm food was gone. Waited 37 minutes for rubbery eggs.

Front desk needs to be more courteous

One thing that really stood out to me was the bath products. The body wash and body lotion from a brand called Not Radio Soap were surprisingly good — definitely better than the typical hotel toiletries. The breakfast was also enjoyable, with different options to choose from each morning. It’s a nice way to start the day before exploring Orlando. The only downside was the $20 parking fee per day, which felt a bit high. Overall, though, it was a wonderful stay. I’ll definitely come back!

Distance from Disney was really nice and ride was enjoyable. The only negative experience I had with the hotel was our room wasn’t cleaned the next day when we went to Disney, but other than that everything else was very good.

Great breakfast variety with a four hour window with good coffee, juice, pancakes, bagels, oatmeal, cereal, fruit and more. Room was clean, outlets in good spots, great water pressure. Parking was $20 for the night but honestly expected for the area.

The property itself was clean but for those of us who walked to surrounding venues there was trash up and down both side of the street. Grade and brush over lap the sidewalks.

TRU is clean; spacious, value for money. It is close to Orlando Convention Center. It has ample safe parking. The breakfast is substantial but could use variety. The amenities are top notch beating more expensive hotels.

I loved the stay, but was disappointed in the parking fees. It would have been nice to know about them ahead of time or have them included in the price. Overall it was a very nice hotel, very clean, friendly staff, and comfortable beds.

The room and common areas were very clean. Breakfast was large and good service all around was great.

Rooms were nice and clean, but there are guests slamming door running down the halls being loud. Staff was nice but lacked a professional appearance, you’d think they were guests not staff. The lobby in the morning is crazy with the breakfast buffet set up making it very hard to check out.

Overall the stay was very nice. Only thing that could be different would be if cleaning staff didn’t block the hallway. Instead of moving one of the carts so we could get by they just looked at us and then went into rooms and shut door. I moved the carts so everyone could get through with their luggage. Working in a service industry myself that is unacceptable.

Went to swim with the fam and the cleaning crew decided it would be a perfect time to clean the lounge chairs with the loudest power washer for 2hrs and we had to leave since we couldn’t hear each other to even have a conversation

Worst: no extra toilet paper, we should ask for extra towels,no housekeeping between 2 days . The 2nd pumkin is the best for me and 5th.

I read online that parking would be free, only to get to the desk and be told that parking is $20 per night. There weren't as many options for breakfast and after everyone's (including kids) hands were all over everything, I gave up. Other than that, the staff in the lobby were pretty nice (Thanks, Ian).

The Ac unit was so loud no matter what level you had the fan running. We heard multiple people complain about the AC units. The bartender didn’t show up for two hours, so there was no happy hour. After a long day being at a tradeshow that was disappointing. room smells musty. Would not stay here again. Not close to anything. Had to Uber everywhere. Because of locations any food or beverage they had to offer was at extremely inflated price. A small bag of chips was five dollars.

Very friendly staff! Not a lot of storage space - I was 1 person so it was fine. No room to open a large suitcase and lay flat (had to use bed). No room safe. Breakfast is “adequate”. Rated high because extremely friendly staff, very clean room and building.
