This Italian-inspired Florida resort offers an 18-hole golf course, a 40,000-square-foot spa, and 11 on-site restaurants. Included in the Daily Resort Fee is transfer service to area theme parks, including the Walt Disney World Resort 8.9 mi away. A satellite 65-inch HD LCD smart television, free bottled water, and iPod docking station are included in all guest rooms at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grand Lakes.     Great location. Great front desk staff. Valet staff helpful. Dated interior. Terrible shower. Meh breakfast. Super overpriced. Noisy rooms. No full room light control by the bed. No dimmers. No charger. None of the things you’d expect at this price point are there. It’s just an old hotel with a fancy logo duct taped to the Marriott which it shares the grounds with.

    This is an old properties that charges you an arm and a leg just because you are near the park. The bed was terrible, the aircondition sounded like an airplane in the room. We ended up forgoing 1 night that we paid for and we checked in to a different hotel

    Nothing special In addition to a very unpleasant situation caused by the hotel and the reception staff, I was charged twice for my reservation. Although at check-in I was clearly told that everything was fully prepaid, they still asked for my credit card (which is not unusual). However, they blocked a very high amount on my card, which made me feel uncomfortable. Later I asked the staff at reception, and they told me that this amount was only a security deposit and nothing more. At check-out, I asked again, and once again they reassured me that it was simply a hold for security, and that the amount would be released within 48 hours. A few days later, during a routine check, I discovered that my bank account had actually been charged the full amount of the booking. What was presented as a temporary hold turned out to be a double charge for my reservation. Mistakes can happen, but they should not happen after I verified three times with different staff members, all of whom gave me the same answer without really checking. The result was that during my honeymoon I was left without access to money. That same disappointing day, I contacted the hotel. At first, they did not really try to help, and instead shifted the responsibility to Booking.com – even though I had made it clear upon arrival that the reservation was prepaid. They insisted further checks were needed, and meanwhile my account was charged without my knowledge. What was even more disrespectful was discovering in my email that on the very day of my check-out, an invoice had already been issued – despite the receptionist confidently telling me I had nothing to pay. Being asked three times, without receiving a professional answer in a hotel of this supposed standard, is unacceptable. It became even more frustrating when they asked me to try to resolve the matter myself with Booking.com, and only if that failed, they would “do it for me” – as if they were doing me a favor.

    room size acceptable, lobby area so good ,the pool was one of the best for sure the staff was so perfect . The water pressure at the bathroom not that powerful, it can be more beater then this so for the people they dream with morning shower maybe they will disappointed. I miss my Arabic tv channels.

    I think the hotel for a 5 star is too big. You wait on busy nights too long in the bar / around the pool to even get served etc but overall the facilities are class and all the staff are too. There was only one time around the pool where I asked if we could move an umbrella and the guy turned round and said yes and walked off….. Thanks for your help! The hotel is spotless and the rooms are beautiful. Fireworks on a Saturday night are epic and out of this world! Overall great trip and great hotel and I would go back.

    We love the Ritz Carlton one of the most beautiful and luxurious Hotels my wife and I stayed at and we have been to several countries and the Ritz is definitely in the top 3 the only thing I would change is the bed is rock hard which is important for a good night sleep so I would request a different mattress if available when I return but love the place!

    Nice comfortable room and lots of options in terms of areas to sit and relax. Spa was very nice. The standard of the food in the lobby bar and Primo restaurant was poor. Much better in H&H.

    French toast and bacon were delicious - room service attendee was the best treatment we had while we visited- finally felt like Ritz treatment just before check out. Nothing was special- employees didn’t go above and beyond, they didn’t even seem like they cared- there was nothing that screamed wow this is the Ritz Carlton treatment, the rooms were dated and floor not clean- our keys didn’t work - we called and asked for new keys to be delivered to Spa while we had couples massage, they did not deliver anything. Massage was mediocre- 800 plus for mediocre couples massage experience- went to knife and spoon later, food was decent but nothing felt special about the Ritz and I highly doubt we would ever spend that much for such a basic experience ever again-

    Spa services were less than desirable. The noise in the staging area was awful. There are no seats inside itself was adequate. However, the massage therapist told me that a service was complementary and then charged me $50 on top of that and I was charged to 22% gratuity on services that were just OK, don’t mind paying The service fee if the massage is very good, but when the massage is adequate and you’re already charging $285 per massage and then add a 22% gratuity on top of that it was not only excessive. It was robbery.

    Dinner was amazing at knife and spoon! Lobby bar had great entertainment. Room felt dated and A/C didn’t work well. It was very warm in the room all night. Sinks would not drain & the shower had a strange odor.

    So I stayed here for my 30th birthday and it was honestly a great experience! The staff was all very friendly and helpful to answer any questions we had. The hotel and room were very clean :) and all the food we had was also so good! We will definitely be back soon :)

    The dining options were good and access to both pools was nice. Some constructive feedback: the bed was very hard and hurt our backs and made sleeping difficult. And the towels and robes were a bit scratchy. Outside of these things, everything was great and we had a nice time.

    Hotel had less than 50% occupancy and they put me in a third floor room looking straight into some palm trees. Absolutely no view. I know service in our country has nosedived, but you just don’t expect this from a Ritz Carlton. Very little attention to detail.

    Absolutely stunning resort and property! I was upgraded to a club level suite upon arrival and it was one of the best hotel rooms that I’ve ever stayed in! What else would you expect from the Ritz? The service was on par to what you would expect! I can’t wait to book again. This will be the only place I stay while visiting Orlando!

    The property itself was clean and beautiful. The reason for a poor review was the way in which I was treated. We were asked the leave the property on the second night of the stay due to an electronic vape. While I understand that these are not permitted on the premises and completely understand being asked to leave the lobby area, I do not understand why they felt it was good practice to first openly serve us alcohol for many hours at the bar and then ask us to leave the hotel late that night. I would not expect such poor judgement and service from the ritz, and I am very disappointed in our experience. Will not be returning.

    Beautiful property. Hotel staff were very friendly. The pool cabana folks were so helpful and awesome and the food at the Pool was delicious. The water bottles in the coolers everywhere was so nice for the Florida heat. Great addition. Thank you!
