Staybridge Suites Orlando Airport South by IHG

The property needs to be updated and cleaned more thoroughly for example, the carpet was so dirty, that my daughters feet were black on the bottom. We then put socks on her and the socks were so dirty after being on the carpet. The bath tub was dingy and the room in general smelled stuffy and like the air filters had not been changed in a while. Unacceptable especially when you boast about an IHG cleanliness promise!

Clean, spacious room. Bedroom is separated from the living area by a door. The bathroom area is accessible from the bedroom and living area, shower and toilet are then in a separate room from the sink. Very convenient layout. Kitchen has a full fridge/freezer, dishwasher, range top, sink. Utensils and dishware are provided. Pool and basketball court are in a center outside area. Breakfast was included - eggs, bacon or sausage, waffle maker, cereal, bagels/muffins/toast, yogurt, milk, juice, coffee, soda. Reasonably priced. I highly recommend staying here.

My only suggested area for improvement is the shuttle service. I initially called the main line and was told the shuttle arrives every 30 minutes at the airport, but after half hour waiting, I had to call again to learn that you must specifically request a pickup. I suggest the staff unify their instructions so guests aren’t confused about the airport pickup procedure.

BIG CON: This is for the evening staff member that left me standing for 45 minutes while telling man at desk and woman on phone same thing over and over and over again. Well then the woman ahead of me had to now go and have a very very long conversation with the front desk employee about where he has worked through his life what she has done through her life her husband finally came back and told her enough conversation that I (meaning me) would like to check in too. I stand there with a reservation that’s paid for a confirmation number but when I get there he tells me I cannot use the card I have it on I have to use a different one. Now I’ve been overcharged I didn’t know till I got home from my trip. I couldn’t get a copy of my bill told id get emailed to me NOPE. Back to hotel So I finally get my room, there is a man standing 5’ from me and he says my room number out loud. Now the woman ahead of me had to write down what she thought the number was she couldn’t read it wanted to make sure she was right. He tells her he never says a room number out loud for security reasons. Well I guess I wasn’t good enough for their security???? One last thing I needed airport shuttle asked me time I wanted I said 5 maybe probably 5:30 so he wrote it down. Just by luck I went to desk 4:55am and found out shuttle only runs on hour and there were 3 of us he didn’t write our names for shuttle and if I didn’t catch that 5am I would’ve missed plane!

It had loads of convenience as far as location is concerned. It really did exceed my expectations on all fronts except for breakfast. That bit was good, but not great. Could do with a bit more fruit options. For the price I paid, approx $135 per night, it was a very good stay. Clean. Very comfy. I didn't cook but appreciated that , that was an option. I'd def. Stay here again.

The property was very nice, mini store fully stocked, staff very helpful, pool nice and clean, and breakfast was plentiful. Also very convenient to sign up for the airport shuttle. I would recommend and would stay here again!

I enjoyed my stay. The shuttle bus staff were great. They were safe drivers and pleasant to talk to. Plenty of restaurants in the area. I was so happy Cold Stone ice-cream was in the area too. I was celebrating a Birthday with my travel buddy. The breakfast is ok. Book your reservations for Staybridge suites.

Main complaint is about the employee at the front desk, Omar. My mother uses a walker to walk as she has trouble walking far distances. I had put in a special request when making the booking to get a room close to the elevator, so she would not have to walk far. When checking in I also mentioned to make sure that the room was close to an elevator. The employee confirmed that it was close to an elevator. My mom was present so he was able to see her using her walker to walk. He assigned us room 308 and when I went up to the room, it was EXTREMELY far from the elevator. I went downstairs and told him once again that I needed a room close to the elevator as my mother cannot walk. He then said it is close to an elevator, little did I know there were two elevators. I apologized and left the desk to look for the second elevator, thinking we may have took the wrong one. The second elevator that the room was nearby was very far though. Very far from the main entrance very far from breakfast. I went back to him again to explain that I needed a room close to the MAIN elevator. He then assigned me a room, which was closer, but still not very close. Please hire people with common sense. The original room he assigned us would’ve taken my mother at least 15 minutes to get to. He saw my mother in a walker and yet gave us one of the furthest rooms from the main elevator. On top of all of that, he seemed to have been getting frustrated at me. Absolutely appalling behavior.

Pilar as front desk was exceptional skill for customer service. Towels are really white and clean. First time I see pillow label by soft and hard / I have 20 years experience in hospitality. Dove shampoo/conditioner/body wash just wonderful. The room are spacious and divide to privacy really and lovely surprised. Just wonderful. Was really great staying .

Breakfast is fresh and while it doesnt give you a ton of options I enjoyed myself as did my little brother. The rooms were very clean and THE BEDS ARE SO COMFY. The main complaint I had was most of the outlets in my room were lose or didnt work. I charged my phone in the kitchen. Other then that it was fantastic and I liked it enough I told my husband next trip Im coming back. They also do "socials" in which they prepare like a light snack or finger food. I enjoyed going in the evenings to them grabbing a soda and heading out on the porched area.

I was only in my room for 12 hours and picked this place because it had free parking, was reasonably priced and was close to the airport. The room was a true one bedroom apartment with everything needed for a week-long stay including a laundry room, kitchen and if you had someone sleeping on the couch in the living room, separate entry to the bathroom so they don't need to enter the bedroom in the middle of the night. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast was more than a continental breakfast and filling. Definitely recommend!

While our room appeared ok clean at first sight as we were getting settle in we started seeing cockroaches randomly scurrying across the floor. We tired to change rooms that night but they were fully booked and it was way to late to change hotels for the couple hours we would be there. (Didn’t get in until 4 am) We also were informed that they had a full breakfast buffet from 7:30–10:30 but we had a late night getting in and got down to the buffet at around 9:30 and it was sparse and heavily picked over and not refilled which was disappointing.

They offered a complimentary Social Hour with beer on tap & several wines - and ravioli with a yummy smelling marinara sauce, plus cookies & maybe muffins? Breakfast was a step up...assorted fresh berries for waffles, cereal or to go with yogurt, along other fruit & usual breakfast items. Scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits & gravy. All the staff was stellar - courteous, cheerful, friendly & very helpful. one of my best stays in a hotel in the past two years of frequent travel. Be aware - there is no longer a hot tub/spa outside by the pool tho' pool area was nice & maintained well.

We have stayed at Staybridge Hotels on many of our travels and always have a good experience. Staff are friendly and helpful, property is clean and there are so many perks like free breakfast, happy hour, pools and gyms. We will continue to look for Staybridge Suites on our travels.

Booked this hotel very last minute. The room was nice for what I needed for the night for myself and daughters. The room was clean. We left before breakfast the next morning, but staff was very nice!

I can't speak about anything except for the front desk and management. I reached out to the hotel 3 times to get assistance for an issue with a reservation. Not only were my messages not returned by management as promised, it seems as though the front desk is not up to date on their policies. I really had hoped the hotel would work with me, but given their lack of communication, I'm not surprised. I will avoid this hotel in the future.

Always stay there when we fly out of OIA. From the front desk to the shuttle to the airport everything works perfectly. Increase in price of Park and Fly. The price of asphalt hadn’t increased.

The gym was decent. The property is located near a number of food places and 10mins from a Walmart. I like that the room had kitchen facilities and the bedroom and bathroom were separate. The property is very gray. The decor including the paint on the walls were very dull which overall left me feeling like the property is outdated. Decor needs work. David at checkin was less than hospitable in comparison to the other front desk attendants. He needs to be at the back of the house. The breakfast buffet needed more options. I usually stay at the Miami location and they have way more options for breakfast.

The front office staff (in the morning)and morning shuttle driver were both so kind and friendly. I left having a better morning than the evening check in. The front office man at night, seemed more robotic and rehearsed with what he said. Completely ignored when I asked for the 6am shuttle, he made a not then proceeded to tell me about the breakfast buffet beginning at 7:30 a.m. on the weekend...$230 for about 5 hours of sleep when there was a water leak in the 3rd floor and industrial blowers running all night...9.0 ratings my foot.

This hotel was my option during SW airlines flight cancellations. We were surprised at the facilities it was pleasant and sweet. The room came with a small kitchen and a comfortable living room! We were slept good compared to the other night at the airport benches lol

Spacious and clean room. Comfortable beds. Helpful staff. Some electrical equipments like TV and telephone are kind of outdated but work fine. The laundry room is a bonus but needs better maitainance. The shower water is good but the cold and hot water labels on the shower valve are reversed. So if you turn the valve all the way to the H side, you’ll get cold water. Just turn to to 1-2 o’clock position to get good water temperature.

No pool & hot tub. Very disappointing. If I had known. I wouldn’t face booked with them. The hot tub has been closed for three years and it is still in their promotional material. At the time I write this the pool had been closed for two weeks. I bet it’s been longer.

It was a nice clean hotel with comfy beds but we would not stay there again because of the odor of marijuana that permeated the 2nd floor.

The main downside was the airport shuttle. When I first called, customer service told us the shuttle would arrive in about 30 minutes, so we waited. After 40 minutes, I called again and was then told it would be another 1–1½ hours. At that point, after a long travel day, we took an Uber instead. Uber driver told us they have 1 shuttle for 3 hotels, and it’s common for quests to take a ride share instead. Unfortunately, the second call was handled poorly — the staff member was rude and dismissive, which added to the frustration. Overall, the stay itself was comfortable, and if you don’t rely on the shuttle it’s a solid option. If airport transportation is important to you, plan for possible delays or budget for a rideshare.

Not a fan of pillow top mattresses. Staff was outstanding. When we arrived they were working with limited power due to someone damaging a power pole along the highway. They did an excellent job of managing the situation and getting us checked in and into our room. Can't praise them enough!!!!!

Picked this as Expedia had it as a 9. I was very disappointed. Very old hotel. Couch needed to be replaced. Sunk in middle. Was so uncomfortable to sit on. Tried another room same. We were there 3 days so wanted a sitting area. hotel was very clean. Breakfast was great. I would not stay here again.overall a very worn appearance. If I could have changed hotels without a financial impact I would have.

Breakfast was very fresh. I can’t comment on parking because we used the hotel shuttle. Omar was very nice and went above and beyond for all my guests that was going on my 60th birthday cruise the next day. After his shift was over a very pleasant young lady took over and was just as nice those two made our stay great!

Be sure to clarify that you want a pet free room. The ONLY issue I had with this property was that the furniture in the room I was given had a slight smell to it and was scratched up by what I can only presume was a cat that previously stayed in that unit. Staff was friendly, area was well kept, quiet, and close to dining options.

This is a go to for us. It’s quiet and comfortable. The location to the airport is great. The food options are plentiful. They have free laundry to boot. You just need to provide your laundry soap and stuff. They have a pool that isn’t heated. There is a hot tub as well.

The toilet was broken. We had to take the back off to flush it everytime, and the door looked like someone had tried to kick it in as the top hinge was cracked.

Staff were mice. Building is old but well taken care of

Roach infested and dirty. Saw the first roach within minutes of arriving. They offered to spray or a different room. Let's be real, if there are roaches in one room there are roaches in the next room. We tried to hang in there, but decided to leave one day early after seeing roaches crawling on my baby's bottle on the mug, in our food that we had to throw away! We asked for a refund for the day we didn't stay there and were told they couldn't refund and a manager had to handle that, but there was no manager there while we were there or for the next few days after we left. We still haven't received any communication from this hotel regarding a refund. We communicated most of our concerns through text, and in person. In person I was told that we hadn't been charged for that last night that we didn't stay since we were going to check out, but that was not true. We were charged the full amount from the beginning. We had a horrible experience and horrible stay.

Unfortunately I can't remember the gentleman at the counter and who drove the shuttle bus name Monday morning December 1, 2025 at approximately 5am. Their customer service was exceptional. They were very cordial and helpful during my check out and ride to the airport.

I love every thing about the property. Each room is a suite, which seperates the bedroom from the living room and yet spacious. Each room also has a kitchen with a full size refrigerator. Having a kitchen is comes in handy especially if you are staying for a more than a few days. This hotel also has free breakfast, which is always fresh. Also on Mon, Tues, and Weds the hotel has free appitizers which also include wine or beer. Other amenities included are free washing machines, fitness center, salt water pool amd hot tub, basketball court, bbq grills and an office center. This hotel is by far my new favorite!

The room was bigger than what i expected and clean. The only thing was breakfast buffet has not a lot of options plus elevator had a malfunction at the time we were there.

We were only there to spend the night for an early morning flight. We’ve stayed here a few times for the same reason and we really like the accommodations for our family of five. The only negative is the front desk person could have been a little more welcoming and friendly.

We had an unexpected stay due to a canceled flight, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. The staff was amazing…shuttle, check-in, management, and food staff (Anna). The facility was very clean and fairly updated. We greatly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the evening snack (loaded fries and free beer/wine). We will definitely stay at this location when in Orlando again.

It is my second time at this location and was wonderful. Love how it’s conveniently located near the airport and a short drive to the main tourist destinations in Orlando. Room was clean and spacious. The breakfast staff is super friendly and greets you every morning for breakfast. The front desk staff on the other hand may need to be a bit more welcoming although today at check out the man was super nice.

Even though I had pay at the hotel they canceled my room that day because the card on file declined because I keep it locked. Even though it will still early afternoon and they didn’t even try to call me and see if I was using a different card because I could have unlocked it. Main thing is it was pay at hotel and I wasn’t even there yet. They just. Angeles my room them tried to charge me 180 more for a last minute reservation. A hour later after missing a planned dinner I got into my room but then after looking they still overcharged me 60 dollars. Terrible customer service. Won’t stay again. May not even use hotels.com again. Second time I e had a really bad experience and they don’t do anything to make it right when it causes you to loose money for something that was their error

This was a great option for our quick stay at the end of our trip so we were close to the airport for our early flight. The room was comfortable & the clean. The extra living space was greatly appreciated and the room had all the extras we needed. Only complaint was outside in the pool area. They didn’t have enough towels for our family & ants were prevalent around our lounge chairs (because food from previous users didn’t get swept up ) and cigarette butts in ash trays that hadn’t been emptied in a while. Those issues didn’t make the pool area very inviting. All in all, a nice stay tho.

The ac unit had the carpet soaked & we all left sick. Possibly from mold. Complained multiple times. Was told “we are sending someone”. Breakfast was ready over a hour later than stated. Very limited items as well. I ask both days to be contacted by management. To date no contact has been made.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel. The location is very convenient for getting to the airport which was our purpose for staying there but in addition to that, this hotel is extremely clean, well appointed and very comfortable. We enjoy having the suite for the additional space it provides and the additional amenities of the mini kitchen. We highly recommend staying here.

We didn’t use the amenities but the breakfast. They do a good job. Prices in the store are reasonable. Beds are very comfortable. Love the mini dishwasher. Close to AdventHealth East Florida hospital. We were able to stay here and visit mom in the hospital!

Worth noting: while relaxing by the pool, a black snake did slither through the gazebo and lounge area—likely harmless, but it was a surprise.

We were checked in by the friendliest staff. I have never went to a hotel and felt so welcomed. The room was clean and the in hotel mart is ingenious. We didnt have to leave to eat. I would definitely stay here again.

My stay at the Staybridge Suites in Orlando was fabulous!! The hotel was clean and modern. The staff was extremely friendly all four times that I needed to converse with them.

- 24 Hr Airport Shuttle (prompt & quick) - Free use of washer/dryers (need your own detergent) - Friendly & helpful front desk (avail 24 Hrs too) - Little pantry shop that has a good amount of options (energy drinks, alcohol, ice cream, travel necessities, laundry stuff, etc - Rooms were very spacious w/ living room area & full kitchen. I would recommend & also stay again!

Close to airport. Wish breakfast started earlier than 7:30.

The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was also better than comparable hotels I have stayed at. Staff were kind. The room was a little outdated and on the older side, especially the bathroom, but again, still clean. I suggest replacing the shower heads. Also, consider a digital parking pass so guests don’t have to walk all the way back out to their car to place a physical one on the dash. Otherwise, I enjoyed the stay!

Literally amazing experience for an affordable price

The front desk staff was fantastic. But an older woman employee working breakfast literally yanked the waffle batter from my hand as I waited in line, yelled at me in spanish, and proceeded to make the waffle for me...with no non stick spray so it came out mangled. Jets on the hot tub didnt work our entire stay. Room was nice enough but NO housekeeping. You want towels? Go to the front desk. You need toilet paper? Go get it yourself. Want real room service? You have to be staying a week or more, or you can request it but they want 24 hours notice. The dishwasher leaked, the trash cans in the room were the size of a pop can, and the towels were about as close to sandpaper as you can get. I'd pay more next trip for a hotel thats not so 'self service'.

We liked the complementary breakfast and self service laundry. We also liked the pool and basketball area. We would recommend informing guest about the free airport shuttle policy upon arrival and having more availability. We were not able to obtain the service at check out because of no available spots. If we knew we needed to schedule in advance we would have.

My second time staying here. 1st time was after my cruise this time was before my cruise.

The tub didn’t look clean but it’s probably the age of the tub itself. There was some dust in the area under the kitchen cabinets. Nothing major I just notice things like that. There was also a small stain on the sofa in the living room. The staff was very friendly. I also loved the free 24 hour shuttle and the free breakfast. Loved the fully loaded kitchen. The check in and check out process was also very smooth.I will stay again.

The property was close to the airport and near lots of activities. Unfortunately it isn't in a walkable area.

Loved our stay here! The only downside is that there’s only 1 elevator for the whole facility. We will definitely be coming back!

The lady who was monitoring the breakfast buffet was awesome. She help everyone by clearing the tables when the guest was finished & checking on each of the tables to aee if anything was needed.

Horrible service, especially regarding the free shuttle service. Had to order an Uber so that I wouldn't be late to the airport. No restaurants really in walking distance.

Couch in room was soiled. The hvac system was noisy. The front desk was unable to assist in arranging transport to airport-my phone was broken and shuttle full. Front desk should be proficient in calling a taxi.

Only stood for one night, but the room was exceptionally clean. Front desk attendant/staff were very welcoming. Breakfast options had a variety to choose from. Pool area was clean as well.

The shuttle and the hotel is understaffed. I tried to call for my family of 6 4x in a 30 min period and just kept getting hung up on. Staff at front desk were on phone when we arrived late at night. They were also still working when we did a late check out the next day. Rooms are clean but outdated. One bathroom was missing a door. Staff at breakfast were amazing and the breakfast was consistently restocked and good. The hotel did do well in allowing us an hour late check out but it def needs some work.

The staff did not seem happy to check us in, to connect us with a shuttle, or to have us there. They made us feel like we were an inconvenience. The printer was out of order in the business center.

We arrived at midnight and James at the front desk made everything so easy for us, so we could have everything ready in seconds. The room was very spacious, beds were great (had a very good rest) and every area was very clean. I will go back if I need to stay in that area again.
