Man issue was the man who checked us in had a YouTube video full volume while trying to ask us questions and get my information, couldn’t hear anything he said and kept having to ask what room we were. When checking out no one was there, whenever we entered the building the same guy was there and playing YouTube ignoring us, also the bed sheets didn’t fit the bed and kept popping off

My room was very clean. There is a free continental breakfast, gym, pool, business center. Waffle House and IHOP and many other eatery in walking distance. There is a car rental company across the street.

The lobby will have you fooled thinking this is a clean hotel. As soon as we stepped of the elevator there was a smell. I couldn’t figure out what it was but later figured it was a moldy smell. The room has the same smell as the hallway. Mattresses are cheap and thin. The bathtub had rush stains but the real problem was the ROACH greeting us at the front door crawling right across it after we returned from the store. We immediately retrieved our things and requested a refund. Due to me booking with a third party they had to verify with the person at the desk. They called multiple times with no answer. I was still in the parking lot so I went back in and that person was just sitting there watching the phone ring because he knew the third party was calling and I told him you need to answer that phone so the company could process the refund. I waited to make sure he advised correctly. If there is one ROACH there are plenty more. STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!!

The hotel is surrounded by construction projects. Several male construction workers were staying at the hotel. At the end of their workday, they gathered in groups of 10 - 15 in 2-3 places in the parking lot, drinking beer and socializing into the late night. They had no ill intent, yet their presence created a safety concern for us.

Smelled of mold or mildew. Floors were wet upon arrival in hallway and room. Friendly staff. Great coffee set up and selection.

Getting to the third floor, it seemed like a different hotel. Air smelled stale, loud air conditions unit, dark hallways. The room was clean. The sheets didn’t fit the bed, so they kept rolling up. I had to screw the cable back into the wall for the tv to work. It was difficult, as the wall part was bent. Lots of things still said Best Western. Not terrible, at least it was clean

The property is well located, but feels a bit old and there are some things that require maintenance or need to be replaced. Breakfast was simple but fine, which is enough on this category. The floor mat/carpets on the room were wet and the fire alarm started beeping during the night, while we were laying on the bed. We asked for a room change, and we got a better room. Staff was kind and helpful.

Better room got to stayed in one of the upgrade rooms on my 2nd visit.

At first glance when I got to the front desk, I was scare. I feel the property needs a renovation. The suite, with two beds, room itself was very clean and kept, I was happy about that.

Side door was held open until late at night with a rock and appeared that it had been broken at some point. Pool and pool area was not as pictured, did not look maintained. Ice machine broken the whole stay. Bedding has visible stains. Staff was kind. Waffle House next door was a perk.

Just one thing we don’t like it on the fourth floor we are in go to the a room and next to the elevator is a room next to the elevator is all smell drugs but this people not respect the hotel and the pool is very poor dirty we have to clean to enjoy a little bit the hot weather but the room is very clean excellent

Both my spouse and I came back with a sinus infection. Leave me to wonder if the air is clean. The place is clean and smells good however the carpet in the room was dirty.

They do not clean the rooms often unless you request it. We stayed for four nights and asked for it to be cleaned, but it never was. It was over a holiday weekend, but was disappointing.

Sufficient if you need a 1 night place to sleep however wouldn't recommend extended stay... room could do with a revamp- air conditioner extremely noisy

Room was and smelled clean. Also, it was super comfort (had 2 big beds and 1 sofa, on which someone can sleep). I give it an A+ or 20/10 since for me the most important is hotel has hot water in the shower and a free included breakfast. Hot shower funtioned perfect and breakfast was really good. This is a low cost but real nice hotel. I could visit back happily. Breakfast included: bread, pastries, baked eggs, scrambeled eggs, fresh fruits (like apple, banana and oranges)... and yes it had bacon/sausage!! Also, had an cofee machine, juices, yogurt and cereals. Easy and fast check in. Nice staff. Only thing which for me was not so important is pool was on a really bad shape (looked as if no maintainance and dirty).

We arrived back from our cruise early and needed to check in early. I was taken back when I was told I had to wait. The front desk lady was very rude and she made us wait for about 2 hours to check in. When she told us we could check in she charged me an additional 30 dollars to check in early and placed an additional 50.00 hold on my card for fees. Keep in mind my room had already been booked and paid for months prior to us checking in. But what was so shocking to me is a Caucasian gentleman told me he was not charged for the early check in fees. I really felt some kind of way about that. I will never stay here again. Front desk was rude and disrespectful. Use your own judgment when booking because no one needs to be treated in an unprofessional manner.

I experienced multiple issues during my stay. The initial room I was assigned did not cool down even after setting the temperature to 60°F. I reported the issue and was told it would be fixed the following day; however, by the afternoon of the next day, it had still not been resolved. I was then moved to another room, which unfortunately did not have hot water. Additionally, around 5:00 a.m., the smoke alarm went off loudly and would not turn off. I was relocated once more, this time to a suite, where I encountered small cockroaches on occasion.

This is an older property than has been remodeled. Everything was newer. For the cost and the quick overnight stay, it was fine.

Convenient location, kind staff, the breakfast was good (just a bit early for me), the bathroom had washes, lotion and a bathtub. The sheets werent as soft as I'd love, but for the money it was definitely a nice room.

The hotel was clean, but the furniture was peeling and chipping. While at the property they did not bring us clean towels and we had to ask for them. You could tell the hotel was pet friendly because the room smelled of dogs. When we checked out the person at the desk never said thank you for staying with us etc..and we had to ask for a receipt.

We only stayed one night before leaving for a very early flight the next morning so can’t comment on the breakfast as we didn’t have it. We didn’t use the pool either, it was basically just a quick pit stop! The room was clean, the furniture was very nice and the room was huge with a king bed and a sofa bed, and desk area etc. The bed was too soft for my liking but of course that’s just my personal choice. There isn’t much around apart from a gas station and a waffle house next door (from what I saw). It is a great location for the airport, about ten mins in an uber but there is no noise from it, so all in all we were happy and would recommend.

Very clean. Great staff. Near the Orlando airport, Disney World, and many restaurants. They have a nice pool, snacks and beverages, as well. A really good deal for the price and conveniently located. Will definitely stay again if I'm in the area.

Clean room. We did have to ask for our room to be tidy and beds made. If not, im not sure if that would just be done. But I believe that is a preference. Also the amount of towels was nice but some were questionable so we just used what we could. Not necessarily bad service but it may be time for some new towels. Other than that...the staff was so kind, breakfast was exactly what you need. Theres something for everyone. It's meant to be simple breakfast, grab and go. They did that well. Thank you for making our stay pleasurable!

Booked this hotel for one night prior to our cruise. It’s a small hotel. Room was clean and staff were friendly. Close to restaurants and a strip mall. There is a Waffle House next door and a gas station across the street.

First we got put into wrong room. But it was corrected with two days. The room we do stay for most of the stay can use some tlc. Bathroom ceiling over shower cracked and little mold. Rust build up near drain in shower. Breakfast was good and service personnel was great.

Only complaint was long wait for check in, as only 1person working. Otherwise great!

Our room was humid and smelled bad, window seal looked like it has black mold growing, shower water pressure was nonexistent. Shower was dirty when we got there. Housekeeping didn’t come the whole 4 days we were there. Breakfast was ok. Mostly had an issue with the cleanliness. Would not recommend.

There was a leak in the lobby and it smelled as if a lot of animal air carpet freshener had been used. The smell was a bit overwhelming in the room. The hair dryer was melted which was a concern. While it said no smoking, the smell of weed getting off the elevator was horrible. I had to walk my child through it which was very disturbing. The staff was very nice and efficient

Front desk people were extremely helpful except the old man who didn't seem very friendly. First 2 days we saw small bugs in the bathroom, not sure if they were roaches, but surprisingly not a big issue for us. When turning off the shower it had to be forced off to ensure the dripping would stop and to turn on afterwards took great force. Maintenance was notified, but their fix was just to force it closed like we had been.

Staff was extremely friendly but I booked 2 queen beds. When I checked in there wasn't any available. So they gave me a king bed and a moveable twin bed. Instead of bringing the twin bed to my room. I had to get it myself from lobby with the bedding sheets and take it to the room and set it up myself. The twn bed was extremely thin and uncomfortable. I could feel the springs of the base on my back.

The place was overall okay, pretty clean and a good budget choice. Employees were friendly, breakfast was decent. They asked for a 50$/room deposit, which they DID NOT want to pay back. I had to contact Booking to be able to get a refund. Disgusting policy, i would never rent here again because of this.

Bathrooms are really nice and clean. Ours had a huge mirror with led lights, which was really nice. Overall, I’d stay here again and recommend the hotel to my friends and family. It was cheap and clean. Can’t ask for anything more.

We specifically booked a hotel that said they had an airport shuttle. When we arrived at MCO we called Sonesta Essential for a pickup. We were told "no more shuttle". We paid for an Uber to the hotel. Then the next morning we needed to go back to the airport, due to a delay in our cruise boat getting into port. I asked at the desk and was told they no longer have a shuttle. We paid for another Uber back to the airport to wait for cruise transportation. The hotel room was fine for one night. We didn't end up eating the continental breakfast because room was small and crowded. Next time we will stick with a chain hotel instead of getting a local hotel.

Room bathroom dirty, with hair all over the place. When I asked front desk for antibacterial wipes to clean the bathroom ourselves, they told me that didn't have any, just the one in the front desk and I had to return it. Stay away from this property.

The hotel was very generic. The neighborhood di not look great. Yes you will be close to the airport but do not expect much more. The breakfast was ok. A women putting breakfast out could not bother to smile or respond to us after we said Good morning. There is a deluxe coffee/cappuccino type machine that either was not tuned on or just not working. We asked the woman and we just got a "no" You get what you pay for here if you pay under $100. I would not stay again.

Rooms definitely need a deep cleaning, the bathroom was not clean fully. Folding table to iron was stained. Elevators need updating and the reception was very rude. I understand the language barrier and the accent but they need to learn how to have patience with guest and respond in a nicely manner especially when asked nicely. Will definitely not stay here again.

Reservation was cancelled because it was not paid by 6:00 pm. If this is the policy, why give the option of paying at the property? Or at least why not give notice of the cancellation policy when reservation is booked? We had no notice of this policy until we arrived to the hotel.

The room was not very clean. The tub was dirty. The breakfast selection was OK, but the quality was average. There were no seats available as people were using the tables as work stations. We ended up taking our food back to our room to eat. I would not return to stay at this property again.

I asked if we could be moved to a partner hotel, and while she said she would try, nothing was arranged. We were offered the option to use a pool at another hotel, but that would have required paying for transportation back and forth, which was not reasonable for us. When I calmly expressed my disappointment, I was threatened with being asked to leave and refused service — all in front of my young children, which was extremely upsetting and unprofessional. We were told two nights of our stay would be comped, but we have not received anything. On top of that, the rooms were not clean and overall customer service was very disappointing. Unfortunately, this was a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend staying here.

Pleasantly surprised with the room and amenities. Only negative is that the hot water does not have a circulation pump so at 3:00 AM (early flight) it took a while to get hot water for a shower.

When I got to the hotel, they stated my reservation was cancelled by Travelocity. Travelocity confirms, they did not cancel my reservation. There was a large nascar race about three hours from this hotel and I am guessing the front desk sold it for more money than they would have made from my reservation. The front desk clerk would not meet me in the eye or even talk to me about my canceled reservation. I ended up staying three hours from the airport and paying over a thousand dollars for a one night stay. This was the worst hotel situation I have ever experienced and will never stay at this property or recommend it to anyone.

Receptionist was very hospitable upon arrival. Room was clean, wiped down a majority of the surfaces in the room and was pleasantly surprised about how little to no dirt was on my wipes. The shower was my only grievance, as I did not have hot water, only warm water. There are also no shelves in the shower, so if you have bar soap, containers, wash clothes etc, there was no where to put them. I also was given a conjoined room, and i could hear almost every thing they were doing and saying in the other room. Other than that, I had a great stay and would consider staying here in the future.

I called at 930 pm and spoke with Kayla to let her know our flight was delayed. I told her we would be checking in after midnight and didn't want our room to be canceled. She said that was fine, and she would put a note saying we'd be in at 1am. When we got to the hotel shortly before 1, we were told our room was canceled. The "on duty manager" apparently wasn't on the property. I had 3 little kids with me and was on the phone with expedia for over an hour trying to find a new hotel in the middle of the night. We were checking out at 7am and didn't get to a hotel until after 2am. The staff at this hotel are incompetent.

When I arrived the entrance to the facility caught me off guard . The over powering smell of air freshener that almost invaded every part of my lungs almost made me have an asthma attack. Upon entering my room the fridge had a smell due to it not being cold enough. The sink in the bathroom had a small roach in it and one was also crawling in the floor. During my sleep hour someone was laughing and banging on my door on both sides . The little areas where you get snacks was completely EMPTY, nothing but Diet Coke in their fridge . This was not an ideal stay and I was not happy at all . I did how ever enjoy my stay in Orlando .

The outside of the hotel was surrounded by a storage container lot and there were homeless people sitting under the trees and close to the hotel making it feel unsafe. Had to make reservations for a safer hotel

On a positive note, the toilet flushed, the room was cooled and all the light bulbs worked. On a not so positive not, the pool was closed, the coffee was terrible, and sleeping on a mountain of rocks would have been more comfortable than the bed.

So… they somehow thought we were checking out the day after we arrived at 11 pm. I unpacked everything so neatly and into drawers… toothbrushes lined up in the bathroom, make up set out, medications lined up. We got back to the room after a full day out and the bedding was completely gone, they threw out half of my expensive skincare, all of our prescription medications including my baby’s glaucoma eye drops. My dirty clothes pile was stuffed into my suitcase (where I kept my clothes so they all stunk for the whole trip, loved that). To me it was so obvious we were not checking out, they said they called me but I checked my phone records and they did not. The manager was very gaslighting about the whole situation and brushed it over quickly while they did give me a cash refund for what I could think of was missing in that moment (I calculated around $70 ish), it ultimately was not enough as I continued to realize more and more of my stuff was gone throughout the remainder of the trip. I honestly have no idea if they fished my toothbrush out of a trash bag somewhere and put it back. My expensive eye cream survived the ordeal but the label was melted and peeling off?! Wild. How did they realize halfway through taking apart my room that we weren’t leaving yet some of my stuff was thrown away and not recoverable? Why did they not replace the bedding? We had to go request it and put it on with two tired toddlers at 9 pm at night. It definitely left a bitter taste in my mouth.

The room was clean although it smelled like a paint a little. It was easy to find, easy to park and easy to navigate. Having breakfast included was a perk too. Our room was a little small and there was a slight odor.

The pool was disgusting, full of hair and algae. The floor in our room was extremely wet. People that were not staying at the hotel were sneaking in to use the pool, said they live on John Young parkway and use the pool all the time. The woman fixing the breakfast was sitting down, microwaving eggs for the continental breakfast and eating her breakfast at the same time. Very unsanitary and lazy. I grabbed a towel in our bathroom after my shower and it had a huge yellow/brown stain on it. We were extremely disappointed this time around.

This property advertises breakfast, but in reality, there was barely any food available. We were repeatedly told it would be restocked “shortly,” but it never was. Even after multiple guests asked, staff claimed they were out—despite breakfast having just started. Housekeeping was also a major issue. We stayed for seven nights and had to repeatedly ask for our room to be cleaned. When it finally was, the staff was clearly unhappy about it. The room itself was extremely small—so small that two people could barely move around comfortably. The ceiling was unusually low, which made the room feel cramped and uncomfortable. Another major issue was the overpowering scent machines throughout the hotel. The smell was overwhelming and caused an immediate headache. In addition, the ice machine on the 4th floor did not work. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. There are much better properties available at similar prices. I would not recommend staying here.

Initially i liked the property. It seemed clean, was simple and had all the basics. The towels were soft and the bed was comfortable. But on day two, i saw 3 roaches in my bathroom (2 i killed). Afterward, i was uncomfortable, didn’t eat from the kitchen and basically, couldn’t wait to leave the premises as I was concerned about the possibility of taking roaches with me in my luggage.

Staff seemed careless, customer service was lacking! They did not clean our room during our entire stay. We asked for fresh towels and did not receive any. Couldn’t use the pool due to chemical maintenance. Impossible to get a hot shower during the day, only had hot water late at night. Breakfast hours were very early and too short, so we missed out on that! We could here coughing all night from the adjoining room.Overall, our stay was less than satisfactory and would not recommend this hotel . Close to airport, so not much around the area.

When first arriving, the tub was dirty and there was hair in the sheets. I had to request to get the bathroom cleaned and new linen which they complained about. I had to hunt housecleaning down to get new rags and towels. We stayed for 7 days. I gave them all of our dirty ones and they only gave us 3 large towels. No face rags, nothing. The microwave kept locking when we tried to use it. It would not open to release our food. They also ran a test for the alarm system at 8 in the morning, which is fine. However, they didn’t give us no warning. Didn’t tell us it was a test. That went on for 30 minutes.

The young reception ladies were super nice so this doesn’t include them, BUT we were there for 3 days and it was disgusting. We had roaches in the room and had no fresh towels unless we went downstairs to request them and then the old manager gave us dirty towels with dirt stains. And when we asked why housekeeping hasn’t been to our room, the manager told us they only come every 3 days, and dismissed us. Will never stay here again.

Everything was great - the room was clean and spacious, the free breakfast had a decent variety and was very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. One thing that could be improved is the check in process. It was a bit slow, but the person working the front desk was pleasant. I felt bad that he was handling all the check ins by himself. When we arrived there were already a few guests ahead of us waiting to be checked in, and when it was our turn there was a line practically out the door.

All bath towels had hair on them from previous users, to begin with only had one towel in our room, there were hardly any staffing to request more. Toilet issues, and can hear everything that’s going on outside of your room at night.

The check in girls don’t feel so welcoming , all on their cell phones . As soon as you are walking down the hall there is a strong odor not bad nor pleasant but like trying to cover up something . The room we got was at the end , 110 and as soon as we entered we can smell the cover smell over the humid musty smell. It was so bad to breathe in there. We heard there is a leak over the bathroom and we can hear it dripping throughout the night . Definitely this place needs some work .

It’s now 2:30 am on November 11 and we just got a key to our room!!! I don’t have the energy to write and explain this fiasco now as I am beyond exhausted!!! Honestly this should be reported to the media, no one and I mean no one should experience such a horrible situation!!!!

No TV, when I went to complain at the front desk worker didn't seem to care. I asked for him to call manager because she was not on duty and no manager called. They were painting on the second floor and that's all you could smell, and it caused a headache all night. I was told I'd get a discount, so let's see if this happens. Will not stay there ever again. When we arrived there was no lights/ power once it did come on it took an hour before we could check in due to computer issues.

The Hotel was ok, but honestly for a Sonesta , is a little below from what I was expecting. International Drive Sonesta was much better !

The tub wouldn't drain while you took a shower.. We reserved for 2 guests, but had a worm or centipede crawling guest join us when we woke up.. room 105.. aside from that, loved the hotel..

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room however seemed a bit outdated, the tub had stains in it form wear and tear. The walls are very hallow. I could have easily heard the folks next door. Overall it’s a convenient place to stay and the beds are comfortable enough to get a good night rest. I will say the room was clean which was good and the AC was nice and cold.

The front desk was super helpful and nice but unfortunately our room toilet wouldn’t flush properly it would keep being backed up. There was a swarm of ants on the 4th floor we was on. I also mentioned to the front desk when we arrived to our room there was no body wash it was completely empty in the shower. They responded we don’t have any. How it that even possible so I’m supposed to bring my own when the hotels always have lotion body wash shampoo, and conditioner. Other than those complaints it was fine and next to Waffle House :)

It wasn't listed on the site that this hotel was under renovation. There were smashed roaches on the way. Always live roaches in the restroom. Black mold was inside of the ice machine. The mold was on the ice once it was dispense.

It was fine until I got back to the hotel from Universal. There was no parking and a truck and trailer took up a whole row of parking we said something to front desk lady told us to park in the road to the side get to the room turn the bathroom light on found a german roach if you know anything about those they are terrible and can infest your house if brought back bed was ok pillows were uncomfortable 4 mini pillows instead of 2 full size pillows and when they give you the deposit of 50 dollars back they charge you 4 dollar fee to put it back on your card and didnt bring that up at check in.

Honestly I was only there for a total of 5 hours quick sleep and then flight but very nice hotel quick check in and very quiet. I would stay again if I’m in the area catching a flight

We came in late the day of our booking, the gentleman greeted us with a smile and promptly got us to our room. I didnt have a credit card and he took a cash deposit and we got it right back the morning of checkout. They had great staff that met us with a smile and made us feel wanted. I definitely recommend Sonesta for cleanliness, staff and continental breakfast was better than most hotels.

The hotel itself is pretty much what you would expect for a cheap airport hotel but check-in was painfully slow with the employee struggling with the customer in front of us and not understanding her. The room had poor AC and had early morning construction noise.

Overall trip was amazing. Fatima & Corey are amazing! Great service and good people. They are renovating so our water went off for a while and we heard construction early in the morning. Breakfast was okay, service and variety was amazing. Food was just mediocre. Espresso/coffee machine was my favorite part. They have a store in the lobby for snacks which was convenient. Pool was nice. mostly unoccupied so able to enjoy time alone. Would definitely recommend this stay and would come back if i was to travel here again.

It’s not a bad hotel by itself, it looks o.k., but when you find hair in your bathroom, then fake nail in your room, you start to worry about the cleanliness of everything. Then, it was a fire alarm in the middle of the night, so everybody had to go out and wait outside for a while. We were so tired.

Our bathroom ceiling had a leak, it ruined my husbands watch and several other items. They comped our room and credited it back to Expedia. I sent Expedia an email and still have not had a reply from them! All in all it was a upper moderately nice hotel, good staff. Clean rooms, nice choice at breakfast buffet. Maintenance on it now after we saw the leak. Would def stay there again, but may not go through Expedia next time.

The property is under renovation which would have been nice to know before booking. The workers started drilling in the room adjoined to ours by 7:30 each morning replacing bathroom fixtures. The halls were filled with paint fumes and caused me to have a migraine. It was awful. Breakfast had no waffles, oatmeal, or even coffee - again all things advertised and park of why we chose this hotel. The front lobby was dirty and smell musty. Entire experience was terrible and we won’t be back and don’t recommend.

I booked this stay 5 months in advance. When i got there at 3:10 (check in is at 3), the man couldn't find my reservation. I had plans to be picked up at 4:20 by uber to take me to the concert we were going to. The man then said i could leave all my bags and stuff up front with him and get them later when the room was ready! I advised him that we needed to get ready for the concert and our stuff was in those bags. I think he realized we were getting annoyed when after 15mins, my room still wasn't ready and i began looking online for another hotel. He started scrambling quickly, and after another good 10-15mins, a room was ready for us on the top floor. We had 30mins to get ready, but we did it! The hotel is going through remodeling, and it looks nice, the parts that are completed, but it seems like the front desk worker needs to be updated because he had no idea what he was doing. And I'm not just saying that because of what happened with us, he had a family ahead of us and was having difficulties with their reservations as well.

Staff was kind and attentive, rooms were just renovated, super spacious, bathroom was a charm, laundry facility was a plus, close to the airport, everything you may need from a hotel, you get it with Sonesta. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was not clean upon arrival. When I called the front desk to request shower gel they asked me to go downstairs and the only option was small facial bar soaps. The elevators were always dirty with food. The area was extremely noisy. Could not get any sleep.

No safe, WiFi was poor, and not enough breakfast for amount of guest there but everything else was fine

but I think this is good for people to know and they were fixing the rooms in the same floor and the smell of paint. Was horrible to and the noise they were making never again
