Rosen Plaza on International Drive

Rooms looked nice and it seemed it was remodeled recently. Fire alarm was triggered 3 times while sleeping.

I was surprised how nice the hotel and room were given I didn't pay that much. Pool was very nice and large, enough places to eat and gave cocktails. Great location across from The Point where they have numerous stores and restaurants and just nice to walk around. Lots if large screen tv's fir the Wirkd Cup watch parties. Would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again if my travels brought me to this part of FL.

Very poor

The flip side of this is where things went sideways. When you spend $300+ a night you expect an upscale experience. Self parking was OK, except there aren't enough ADA spaces and people without tags were parked there all but one day, so I always had a long walk to the door. At check-in the front desk staff seemed like they didn't really want to be there, and when I had questions about where things were on the property I was met with a snarky attitude. The in room mini fridge poured water the second we opened it so we just decided not to use it, but it was inconvenient. The hotel also has a busy restaurant/bar downstairs, but the guests on our floor were at an event there one night and ended up drunk, loud and playing music until the early morning hours. On the last night we were there, someone in our hallway was smoking pot in their room, and it stunk up the whole floor. On checkout we called the bell stand and the bellhop who came up seemed annoyed that he had to help us with our luggage. If I'm being honest, much of that is budget hotel behavior. I may try the Hyatt next time, but honestly this experience has pretty well turned me off to hotels in general.

Once you park at Rosen Plaza you literally can forget about your car. I went to a hairdresser trade show at Orange County Convention Center and the convenience of having a walking bridge connecting the two buildings was fantastic. Rosen Plaza has great restaurants and bars that make leaving the hotel unnecessary. But if you want to venture out, leave your car in the parking lot because there are loads of bars and restaurants that are all walking distance. I was thankful for hotels.com/expedia because back in January when I tried to book a room directly, there were none available.

The breakfast buffet was good but could have more options. The food tasted good. I did not have a bad stay. There is nothing negative to report.

I understand that there are policies in place. We were unable to travel because my wife had a medical issue, she suffers from a hiatal hernia. I had to cancel the reservation, and the hotel made no attempt whatsoever to help. I will no stay at Rosen Plaza Hotel again.

This is a cool place. Great location and restaurants near by. If you go to Jack's Steakhouse house, try and get Amal. She is wonderful. I will be returning.

The fire alarm was pulled at 330 in the morning the one night we stayed here. The whole hotel had to evacuate and we couldnt get back into our room until 430.

The 2 double beds were to small I would have liked one king like I reserved we ordered 4 drinks at the pool bar and my bill was $74 dollars. I tipped, then found there was a tip already added. I can see if it was a large party, but there was only 4 of us.

The hotel was being renovated and we stayed in the 6th floor and the room was recently renovated. The room we had was great, we loved how modern, clean and comfortable the room was. Definitely recommend staying there. And walking distance the The Pointe center with lots of things to do and eat

We have stayed here many times over the years and parking used to be free, but alas they have joined most of the other places in cheating people out of money to park at the place they are staying at.

The room was just renovated. Food was good and reasonably priced for being a hotel, much better than the convention center.

The value for the price is outstanding. We stayed in one of the newly remodeled rooms, which was modern and very comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive throughout our stay. The location is excellent, there are plenty of restaurants and entertainment options just across the street, and the convention center is within walking distance. We didn’t need to move our car at all. As an added bonus, the property also offers on site charging for electric vehicles.

We stayed there while at a volleyball tournament and I was pleasantly surprised, especially for the price. The hotel was recently renovated and the rooms were new.

The location and the room were really good. The fact that they charge for parking and on top of that it was really hard to find a parking spot.

Property was very well maintained. All staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was good and good selection. Omelet station was the best. Price was decent for a hotel and saves time with going out to place for breakfast first in the morning.

My stay was not so good the hotel was extra loud due to construction which if they had mentioned this beforehand I would have booked with a different hotel. The rooms need to be upgraded because you can now see where all the usage in the rooms, pool area, and throughout the property is wearing down. Staff is polite and very helpful. They need have more menu and store items on property for guest. Overall, I rate this stay a 5/10

The check in experience was not good as the desk attendant who helped us was rude and in a rush despite there being no wait or line of guests checking in or out at the time.

Staff was friendly. The room was perfect for my short stay. The hallways did have a funny smell, but the room was nice and clean. We did have issues with our room lights randomly going out, but we did call the front desk and they did get it taken care of within the half hour or so. Overall, I was happy with my stay.

Convenience of access to the Convention Center. Can hear everything going on in the hallway at night. The air conditioner is quite loud and I hardly slept at night. No microwave in the room, either.

One of the main issues that impacted my stay was the fact that the hotel was under construction during the period. This caused a significant amount of noise, especially in the morning, which disturbed my rest — something essential during a vacation. Additionally, the service from the staff was disappointing. Overall, the team was not very welcoming, and I had a negative experience with some front desk employees, who were even rude when we asked for help connecting to the Wi-Fi. Another inconvenience was that every time we used the hair dryer, the power would go out, which was extremely frustrating.

Close to the convention center There was loud construction outside the window over the weekend and then construction above our unit early morning the day we were leaving.

Hotel decided to allow Free Palestine propaganda flags front and center at the entrance simply because this group booked a wedding venue. Everyone coming and going from the hotel lobby had to see this. I asked management to please have them move their vehicles with flags from the valet entrance they said it’s a sensitive topic but we will have the cars moved only to call back and claim they can’t find the vehicle owners (mind you the cars are parked with valet who hold the keys). Rosen plaza chose profits over principals. Thanks for calling me back as promised (heavy sarcasm as manager never called back).

We stayed at the Rosen for my daughter's volleyball tournament. It was convenient that the hotel attaches to the bridge that goes over to the convention center. The hotel is nice, spacious, and has pretty of food options downstairs. Small frig in the room, but no microwave. Microwave is downstairs in the deli.

The staff are all superb, the beds and mattresses are like sleeping on a cloud, can’t wait for the refurbishment to be completed. The pool area is great and selection of food at the deli is varied & reasonably priced, theres even microwaves & toasters for client use by the cafe. Would always recommend this hotel for its warmth and location

I gave this hotel a 5-star. I only stayed overnight. The hotel and room was very clean and there qas lots of eateries and things to do (if that's what you're looking for). You're also right on I-drive so yo I can walk to nearby places. Upon checking in, the front desk staff was really professional and nice. The one thing I was not too happy about was that hoisekeeping was knocking by 9am when check out is 11am (i didnt put the sign on the door so maybe that would help). Also, you have to pay $29/day for parking

It was very disappointing. I booked for a king room and then got two double beds Also they’re doing renovations. They did not mention on their website and all we heard was hammering all morning from 9 am-to 6pm very disappointed probably will never go back to that property again. The hotel was under going renovations and there was ongoing work above my room from 8am-5PM. What sounded like jack hammering. Extremely loud. Totally understand hotels need to renovate, however would recommend not booking rooms in the vicinity or at the very least directly under.

The food options were a great variety and not to mention the location of the hotel, close to many food options along with all of the parks in Orlando! We could see sea world and epic from our room!

This hotel was truly a pleasure to stay in from start to finish. The rooms were spotless, fresh, and thoughtfully arranged, making it easy to relax the moment you walked in. This property connects to the OCCC but on the west concourse so if your conference is in the north its a LONG walk.

The only thing I didn’t like was getting nicked and dimed at $28 a night for parking. Hide the parking cost by raising the room cost if you need to. I wouldn’t feel like I was getting taken advantage of if you did that. Staff was top notch. Food at in house restaurant was excellent. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Overall, everything was nice and we had a good stay at Rosen Plaza. The room was clean, the hotel was well kept, and there were no hidden fees, which I really appreciated. Check-in and pricing were straightforward. The only small downside was when I asked the lady by the buffet if they offer any complimentary birthday meal for breakfast—she was a little rude. Other than that, everything else was great and I would stay here again.

Great experience all around. Was in town for DEMA at the OCCC and was very satisfied with everything. Manager (Jay?) is a great guy and made sure to stop by the poolside bar to ask me how everything was!

Great space. Simply was hard to find a balance with the thermostat and finding random items left behind by previous people. The space was clean but not the cleanest it could be but overall, happy with my stay

Check in and check out was easy. Room was really nice and comfortable. LOVE the 24 hour convenience store downstairs. Breakfast was a bit pricey for what you are getting. Might as well go to a nearby restaurant. Nice bar area downstairs to have a quick drink and mingle with others staying at the hotel. Perfect location I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was clean and neat. The staff were always polite even at late hours. The property itself was nice and pretty. They had free chargers for EV cars. Everything you could possibly need.

I only gave a 4 because thw beds were slightly small for 2 adults. I also had a standard room which could have been the reason for this. Nevertheless, i would stay again and I would recommend. Conveniently located across from Orange county convention center.

My room was clean and water. Pressure was good. Air conditioning worked very well, sometimes too well I wish the breakfast buffet had a slightly better price point for people staying at the hotel. $22/day to park! I was there for a conference down the street so that did not make me happy. We also just came from the Drury where we did not need to pay extra for parking and the breakfast buffet was free.

Room was fine, it could use some upgrades. Very annoyed at staff knocking on my door at 845am to see if I was there, Check out is at 11am, you didn't let me check in sooner b/c you said it would be a $50.00 charge, i don't expect the cleaning staff to know on my door so early. Luckily i was awake and still getting ready but that should not be allowed.

But this time things were noticeably different. It doesn't seem as if they are upkeeping the hotel as closely as they previously were. Mattresses really need to be changed out, they're extremely uncomfortable now. The air conditioner made so much noise and was so loud we couldn't sleep. I kept waiting to hear It finally give out and shut off. Also, don't even think about trying to check in early.They're gonna tell you, you gotta give them $50 to check in. Staffing isn't as friendly as they used to be either.They definitely don't go out of their way to help you or give you any further information about anything.

We stayed at Rosen Plaza for a conference. It was very convenient since there is a bridge that directly connects to the convention center. The hotel had great food options including a deli that was open till 11. Overall, we had a great time and highly recommend this hotel!

The front desk staff was unfriendly. The room is small and dated. No upgrad, nor an offer. Had to pay for parking. No VIP treatment despite nearly $400 for one night. Very disappointing

We got our reservation mixed up and they got it transfered with no hassel, safe was friendly the room was very clean. We will be staying there again on our next Florida trip 5 stars

The room was extremely noisy. The hallway had no buffer when people came through. You could hear the whole conversation people above walking like elephants. It was extremely noisy. People on both sides kept bumping the wall very noisy place. It needs some insulation. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The view was nice. The front desk was OK but could be a little friendlier.

The Rosen Plaza consistently provides a comforting, clean, fun atmosphere for their patrons. Friendly faces, a variety of food and drink options, a beautiful lobby, amazing pool area, and a professional feel top off this hotels ambiance.

The location is perfect—close to everything we needed, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and local attractions. Everyone we interacted with was kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

Front desk staff had attitude la and when you had a question acted like you were bothering them. Told us there was a door in the parking lot to get to lobby went out the door to get luggage and couldn’t get back in had to walk all the way around to the front to get in when I told them the door wouldn’t open there response was we know it’s broken but you still advised people to park on that side

Hotel was beautifully designed and decorated and close to all the restaurants and attractions we were interested in on International Drive.

Everything was perfect and very close to universal

10/10 this was exactly what my family needed. We were able to relax and feel safe in busy Orlando. The kids enjoyed the pool while the adults relaxed in the hot tub. Everything was clean and tidy. The staff was amazing. Any requests we had they were happy to accommodate. Always with a smile and I felt like when I spoke with them, they were alert and listening to my needs making this a truly magical stay for all of us. I will absolutely be booking with them again in the future. Oh I almost forgot, I love that they are pet friendly!

This property was good for the most part. However, parking was not included and totaled$ Jitsu under $50 for a two night stay. Also while the room had a refrigerator, there was not a microwave to heat food up. This was a big deal because we had leftover food that we wanted to eat the next day but did not have the means to heat it up.

Perfect. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. Cafeteria has the pest pizza and Cuban sandwiches. Location very convenient. Cross street restaurants and bars. For us was more than pleasant.

The room was so small, outdated and dark…The beds were two double beds and too small for 3 people! The double bed is twin size and its ok for one person not two person! Overall, we werent satisfied!

I had an amazing time at the hotel! Staff was great and fast to respond andthe pool was good and clean on those really hot days where my friends and I just relaxed the day away. Also, the 24/7 snack area was a great set-up for snacks after me and my friends got peckish all times of the day.

The pool, restaurants, location, and staff was all superior. I wanted to stay an additional night but an event had the rates way too high for my budget.

The only complaint i feel like the parking would be more informative how self parking charges for.

Rooms felt slightly outdated. And my shower needed to be hotter in the morning. But it was clean, in close proximity to the convention center.

We did not like the fact that jacks restaurant was not opened for dinner. After a long day of shopping, we we're very tired and really could have used a nice quiet dinner in the hotel but instead we had to fight the traffic and go out. The hotel itself was very clean and very accommodating.

We love staying at the Rosen Plaza.

Convenient location

Very close to the hilton where I needed to go for the salsa congress and resturants if you want to take a walk outside the hotel. I ended up going to the brazilian restaurant on my last day and you can't beat all you can eat for $52. Overall stay was great. They clean your room daily. I would stay there again.

The hotel itself was beautiful with a clean room. The issue I found was that I booked a double-bed room, but they tried to give me a King Bedroom, even thou I told the manager that we were 2. At first, they said the hotel was fully booked and that there were not 2 beds available, and the reason they changed my reservation from a 2 bed to a 1 bed was because they only saw 1 person's name on the reservation, and also added that because I did the reservation thru a third-party (Expedia) they did not see the type of room I booked.(???) They also charged me an extra $25 because I got there at 12:30 instead of 3:00PM, meaning they have to charge the early check-in fee, even thou I didn't see that fee stipulated anywhere during my reservation process, neither was visible stated at the counter. I found out about it when I got there. The cherry on top was that when I tried to turn-on the TV, guess what? Remote was bad, so I had to call for a replacement, and it took them over an hour to do so. I even had to called twice because of the delayed. Again, the hotel was beautiful but too many inconveniences. They messed up my reservation, and didn't have the decency to, at least, waived the early check-in fee??? Very disappointed to say the least.

I have stayed at Rosen properties before, and it is my preferred place to stay while in Orlando. This property is convenient to all of the places I need to go, and is clean and nicely maintained. I recommend the Rosen Center and Plaza if you have anything going on by the convention center.

But management had no control or supervision of the facility that evening. I thought I was at a frat party. There were people running up and down the halls all night. Kids screaming and slamming doors. A pool party that lasted with loud music until 3 am and a couple screaming at each hour most of the night right across the hall from my room. The hotel is in a great location, close to a wide variety of dining and entertainment options. The rooms are clean and the staff was friendly. Keep in mind that Orlando is bustling with kids because of the local attractions, so if you are seeking a quiet/relaxing experience, you may be disappointed. Overall great hotel experience and I would definitely stay there again.

The rooms smelled musty and were pretty old. I am not sure why this place is so highly rated and expensive. The only positive was the location that is extremely convenient, right next to a bunch of restaurants.

For what the rate is per night, I would expect better mattresses on the bed. As soon as I sat on the bed it sunk in. I ordered a roll away bed for my daughter and you can feel the coils in the mattress without even sitting on it. Whole place needs an upgrade for these prices

Great location, walking distance to the convention center, but unfortunately loud music at night because across from the hotel is a night club and outdoor live music.

The Rosen is quite possibly the cleanest Hotel in Orlando. From check-in, to ease of parking, the spacious well appointed room, to the poolside dining, as well the ease of getting to the Convention Center next door. We have nothing but good things to say about our stay. There is something to be said about family owned businesses and the Rosen tops them all. This will be our go to property while visiting Orlando on future business/casual trips.
