The staff were friendly. Everything, the hygienic conditions were ZERO, noise was unbearable, no air in the room no open windows. Things were broken in the bathroom, floors dirty and dusty. Very disappointing.

People were nice and helpful. Breakfast was good. The free shuttle was only once in the am several hours before parks opened. The evening shuttle was only twice. Each time an hour before a park closed. I picked this hotel because of free breakfast and free shuttle. The fact that there are only 3 shuttle times should be noted on the website! Other places have multiple shuttles throughout the day. This was extremely difficult and we had to pay for other transportation.

Breakfast was average. Juice bar wasn't full. Our room needed improvement like the key card didn't work sometimes, the coffee machine was lobsided causing spilling and the a/c was loud. But for a short stay, it was tolerable. Had this been the first La Quinta we stayed in, we would consider another hotel option.

The hotel is amazing! The staff is friendly, helpful, and truly made our stay enjoyable. The location was perfect for us, and the room was very clean. I always check everything carefully, and both the room and beds were spotless. The front desk staff went above and beyond to assist us whenever needed. I will definitely be back in six weeks and look forward to staying here again!

Beds were comfortable. 24 hour access to rea/coffee machine. Hotel was very dated, very poorly maintained, old, shabby and smelled very musty. Carpet in hallways was faded and looked dirty. Doors to rooms had chipped paint, overall feeling of neglect. Carpet in rooms faded, rooms not cleaned to a high standard. Bathtubs old and in need of replacing.

I was notified when I arrived about the deposit. Told staff you should put it in booking the amount needed and terms. Staff talked to each other at desk in Spanish. Overall nice hotel. Less space for handicap parking.

Spacious, clean room. Lots of soft towels. The beds were comfortable with several pillows. Good hot breakfast with lots of selections.

We stayed two (2) nights after visiting Universal Studios. Beds were extremely hard and could not sleep. Also, no housekeeping for two (2) days. Breakfast was good and fair amount of variety. I don't think we would stay again.

Staff was great. Building is rundown. Our door handle didn’t work properly and there was a large cockroach in our room (just one after a thorough Check) that we assume was just due to being a rundown building in the Florida heat.

It was a place to stay. The hotel is not exactly up to Laquinta standards. Getting clean towels or the room cleaned was impossible.

Great location for Universal. Walking distance to parks, although a free shuttle is also available with a bus stop right outside the hotel. Plenty of parking available. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The pools were clean and looked after as well. Breakfast options were good, including the usual continental options as well as cooked food including eggs, sausages (turkey and pork) and a waffle maker to make your own. Although rooms were very clean, they do look a little tired and could do with a small refurb. Also a shame there is no kettle in the room to make teas etc (although a coffee maker is available in the room). The air con can also get slightly loud, especially in the night.

This LaQuinta is located no more than 5 driving minutes from Universal. The staff were very polite, and efficient to reasonable requests.The walking area from my 3 day experience seemed safe and quiet no heavy foot traffic - seen a lot of early runners, did not see any late night runners. *most photos were last day due to busy schedule I would leave around the afternoon and be back at midnight hours for the time I physically saw around area*. The Lobby was clean from what I could see, it did have a certain small sewer like smell from the cleaning products they used…nothing outrageous, but definitely noticeable. The breakfast was hotel breakfast - Yogurt, small fruit, waffles, cereals, small party cups for juice and milk, plastic silverware, party plates. The hotel lobby was a medium size, intimate to say the least. The pool was clear you could see through, seen families swim, and staff did cater to said pool when nobody was in or around. The staff were very friendly when I needed a quick request on the fly. *** I will say for female visitors they do not carry menstrual cycle pads in the merchant area only over the counter medication. The room offers a nice complimentary countertop microwave and mini fridge, as well as functional roku decent size flat screen tv. The bed was comfortable and slept well, the pillows were uncomfortable at times but one good pillow will make up for it. **** KEY CARDS did not work all the way ~ DOORS did not close all the way ENSURE your door CLOSED

Great value for money! The room was a good size with two comfortable beds, a fridge, and a microwave. Everything was very clean. The hotel has two buildings, and each has its own outdoor pool with pool towels provided. There is also a small gym for guests. In the morning, breakfast is served in the lobby, and free coffee and tea are available all day. The staff was very nice. I highly recommend this place! The only minor suggestion for improvement would be the breakfast options, as they could be a bit more varied.

Everything was fair for the price. The hot breakfast was a plus. The property was clean, the room was clean. The shuttle schedule to the parks could have been better, but I would stay again.

The room had a mildew smell a little and the beds were very uncomfortable, the soap in the shower was empty had to get out and get it from sink one.

universal Studios epic universe in most places were within 8–18 minutes away- was a great location, I was fine with our room. It was comfortable. I was not fine with the size of the pool it was not clean. my opinion, the free breakfast was basic an convenient. There was no outdoor place to sit in the evening -noisy by The highways needed update and getting in and out of the room door was ridiculously difficult, their keys do not work well,, but the staff was very nice and the housekeeping was very nice. I would prefer going to a resort if I’m going to stay a week. this is fine for just a few days or a long weekend that’s my opinion. I’ve been traveling for over 45 years and you don’t get that many television programs unless you pay for it there’s really no view great for short days if you want to be near universal Studios. The people that worked there were very nice, the housekeepers were really nice. The main desk was very nice. The room were clean. The bed was comfortable great for short stays. I would not stay there for a week again , there’s no place to sit outside in the evening, they don’t have much on television programming, unless you have children there’s no view , parking lot highway in Palm trees that’s your view it’s a bit noisy because you’re right off the highway so you do need earplugs , the pool is very small and it was quite dirty on the bottom. The breakfast was your normal scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, danish, bread, waffle maker, coffee, tea, blah blah like I said if you have children and you can get a sweet for the price, it’s great.

The location was ok The building, the room, the common areas, and the bedroom itself were outdated. The breakfast was bad, but more importantly our bedroom smelt so bad, like it was moldy, and the AC was old, dirty and did not work very well. The smell was strong and I'm pretty sure gave everybody a headache it was actually hard to breathe. Also there was a LOT of noise late in the middle of the night, we could hardly sleep. Stay away.

We chose this hotel for its location near Universal Studios and shuttle, but the shuttle ran only once very early. Breakfast ended at 9:00 AM, and by 8:30 there were no seats. Room rate was the attraction for us as it was close to Universal Studios and central to our vacation plans. Not only were the room rates great but the hotel was clean and nice. We had a washer and dryer as well on our floor that we used mid week. Overall it was a great hotel.

The hotel was better than expected. The room and bathroom were clean, the air conditioning worked well. The beds were comfortable. The hotel is an older building, which shows. We had trouble with our door. The pool had a lot of debris in it and we took the last two towels available at the pool. The breakfast was adequate. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would return and recommend, especially those going to universal.

We chose this hotel for its cheap rates, shuttle, and breakfast. We knew that we wouldn’t be spending much time there. However, the room, itself, was not a very enjoyable place to be, even just for the short times we were there. Black, purple and lime green decor was horrendous, and left all of us feeling a bit unsettled, instead of calm, and just made the place look quite cheap. Pillows were incredibly uncomfortable. My kids are usually really excited to stay at hotels, but even they didn’t like the feel of this place, and were happy to leave. The breakfast was fine, for the most part, but my kids were most excited about the fresh waffles, and they all refused to eat them because they tasted “sour.” The shuttle driver was nice, but there was only one time to get the shuttle in the morning (quite early), and it picks up/ drops off people from other hotels, too, so was quite full by the time we got in, and one of the evenings, it looked like it didn’t fit everyone, so the shuttle was going to have to make a second trip. In all, a pretty sub-par experience.

Same things for breakfast ever day. Jam-up at the coffee bar. Needs to be bigger. Lots of people stay here because of its low cost which creates jam up at breakfast time. Its an older facility. Well maintained but showing its age.

It was a clean, friendly place that was conveniently located from where we needed to be during our visit.

Suite size was good, but we had issues with the water service while we were at the parks and stayed away until we got confirmation it was resolved. Also had toilet clogging issues that were eventually resolved but again had to stay away longer due to this. The WiFi didn’t always work which was an inconvenience as well. We didn’t end up using the shuttle service since we get discounted parking at Universal for being pass members. The pools were not clean and were very small which was a disappointment. Overall I’d say it was ok but we will not stay there again.

It was a pretty solid hotel for the Orlando area near Universal properties, and for a fantastic rate at that. It made for an easy stay, nothing stood out as a problem by any means, and the staff were super helpful. All-in-all great hotel and I'd stay again anytime!

On the second night, we returned around 1:30 AM and the elevator was not working. There were no clear instructions posted on how to access the stairs, which was frustrating late at night. Thankfully, the elevator was working again the next morning. Overall, the location is convenient, but there are definitely opportunities to improve guest service and room checks prior to arrival.

The cleaning standards are very low. I have pics of the nasty toilet that would barely flush and the dirty baseboards. They clearly just don’t care or have any standards. I even saw a small bug (alive) on the nightstand. This hotel badly needs a complete refresh w new carpet and tile, and painting throughout, at minimum. I have stayed at other LaQuintas that were very nice for a basic hotel but I will never stay at this location again. The actual location is decent as you can walk to Universal, but not good enough to compensate for the poor condition of this sad, dirty hotel. I would have changed hotels if I could but everything was booked for Presidents Day weekend. I had no idea this was such a popular travel time for the parks. Be forewarned.

The breakfast service area is too small for the hotel’s capacity, which causes inconvenience. Additionally, the served products and/or the accessories for preparation are insufficient. Regarding the juice and coffee service (advertised as available 24/7), for 48 hours we did not see any juice, and the coffee provided does not meet the expected quality

This hotel is very conveniently located. Close to Universal. Easy and quick access to I4. Commute wise great. Stayed there for 3 nights with family. Felt safe. Clean horel. Little outdated or worn out at places. But all in all value for money and no complain at all. Will stay here again if we travel bsck to Orlando.

This hotel is very OKAY. It feels old and outdated and is not nice whatsoever. BUT it was clean, everything in the room worked like it was supposed to, the breakfast buffet was average. The shuttle service did take us to the park and back, but only went to and from at one specific time and was full when we got on so we had to stand. If it was busier time of year we wouldn't have fit on the bus. Overall this hotel is a cheap stay near the amusement parks and gets the job done but is nothing nice

Loved the shuttle offered, and the staff were all excellent. My only issue with this property was how loud it was. Every conversation in the room next to us or in the lobby were as loud as if they were in the room with us. Perhaps better sealing around the doors would help block some of that noise.

We got placed right next to the elevator and heard it run every single time. And it's a slow elevator so it would last a long time when it would go. We weren't a late check in either so why we got placed with a really really awful room is beyond me. They're also going to place a large hold on your card at check-in that is not disclosed during your purchase on Expedia. You find out a couple days before by text message.

There were ants around bathroom sink and when water wouldn’t go down I pulled up stopper only to find food hair stuck to it. Reported to front desk they took care of it. My daughter in law had a large bug in her bed in the adjoining room. Their room smelled bad and there seemed to be a wetness between adjoining doors. I was disappointed in the hotel rooms. The front desk people were very helpful. Could be better maintenance of things. Food was fair.

The first room I was given was absolutely disgusting. The bathroom was clearly never cleaned — the toilet seat had disturbing blood stains I don’t even want to describe, the carpet looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in ages, and the whole room smelled awful. This was in the building opposite the front desk. I was already exhausted and arriving late at night, so getting a room in that condition was the last thing I needed. I immediately went downstairs (after waiting forever for their painfully slow elevator) and asked to change rooms. Thankfully, the staff did move me to another room in the main building near the front desk, which was slightly better. However, even that one had issues — no bath mat, barely any toiletries, and just a single soap bar provided. The so-called “free shuttle” to Universal Studios is a complete joke. It only runs once a day at 8 AM — way too early, especially since Epic Universe doesn’t even open until 10 AM on Sundays. And to make things worse, the shuttle only goes to Universal Studios, not Epic Universe. You have to get off there and take another shuttle, wasting even more time. I didn’t bother using it for the rest of my four-day stay. The breakfast wasn’t any better — the juice tasted like flavored water and the options were minimal. Overall, nothing about this hotel was worth the money. I would never stay here again and definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Room was dirty. The shuttle is small and first come first serve, it only makes one trip to Universal at 8am. I’m assuming it’s a shared shuttle since it was anlmost full when we got on. Only makes one trip to pick up from universal at 530pm. So we had to use uber the rest of our stay. The fridge froze all of my drinks and they busted. We had to get three different key cards because our lock wouldn’t read them. Maintenance was suppose to come fix it but that never happened. Pool was closed when we tried to go around 6pm one evening. Breakfast was super limited. We were down there 40 minutes in line for the one waffle maker. They never restocked the yogurt. We ended up going elsewhere for breakfast the other two days.

I chose the property because of the it was closeby to Universal. I was to be a place to crash for 1 night and a decent breakafast and we are on the way again. Check in was good and fast, except for the $100 hold on your card which no one likes, but it is a necessary evil. I immediately noticed that the hallways were hot, but the rooms were cool. Beds were comfortable and TV had plenty of channels. The place was dated, but clean inside and out—lots of places nearby to eat. Breakfast was good, but I wish it had a few more choices. Nevertheless, I would stay there again, as I had a comfortable night sleep.

We had to go down to the front desk to request more, which felt frustrating given the circumstances. Our first day was exhausting, and when we returned late in the evening, we found that our room had not been cleaned at all. When we called the front desk, we were informed that rooms are only cleaned every other day, which is simply unacceptable for a family stay. 2nd time here and the stay was great. Only like 7 minutes from universal parking. We went to Halloween horror nights so we stayed here instead of driving home 1.5 hours at 2am.... very affordable for how close it is to the parks

A short list of the issues: - Upon entry, the room smelled very strongly of mold. - There was a dead German roach in the bathtub. - The in-room refrigerator did not function. - The fold out couch had Trojan brand condom wrappers inside. Overall, it was not the worst hotel stay, but it was disappointing and showed a very poor attention to detail.

The place was clean, linens were good and comfortable. There’s some highway noise nearby and depending on the season, some drainage issues in the outside areas that can contribute an odor of standing water/muck.

The property sees a lot of people for sure. The shuttle service was late by about 20min. The breakfast options are very lacking. The rooms are ok, but run down for sure. For what you pay it’s a place to lay your head. Mattresses need to be replaced for sure. Or add a padding to them.

The room was small and out dated. There were roaches in the room, both large and small. I took video! The staff was not very friendly or helpful. The pillow cases were dirty. I got new ones. The "free breakfast" was a disgrace! Eggs, bread, ham or pork only sausage and pancakes at an out dated pan cake maker, doesn't cut it! Never again!!! You definitely get what you pay for!

What really led to this rating is due to having multiple issues with the key card / door locks not working. Additionally, there was flooding from the upstairs unit into our room. Ironically family members we were staying with at the hotel had the same issue and was able to change rooms. Due to lack of availability, we could not switch ours.

We booked this last minute on the way to Orlando, and I would never stay here again! Our room was covered in mold. Upon further inspection, it looked like there was mold growing on the walls, and they just painted over it. The bathroom ceiling, vents and behind the toilets had mold under the paint. I showed the receptionist the videos and pictures I took, and there was really no apology or attempt to remedy the situation. I know this is an affordable hotel, but having mold covering the room and painting over it instead of fixing it is unacceptable.

The beds were hard as a rock, the breakfast was terrible on the days they served that nasty ham which was most of the days we were there. No bacon at all. It was a place to sleep and the staff was friendly but the pool was tiny and there was nothing to do whatsoever at the hotel other than sleep.

They offered cleaning room service every 2 days, but we stayed for 4 days and the room was never cleaned. Everything in the building smells like it’s so humid and mold, we got exacerbation of rhinitis while in the hotel.

It's a fine hotel for a quick stay. Affordable, includes breakfast and helps out when you are just there to enjoy the parks.

The property was nice and clean but it was very noisy.

We stayed four nights on our trip to Universal and it worked out well overall. They had a shuttle that will drop you off (0800) and pick you up (1530) from Universal’s CityWalk each day! They clean your room every other night, which was fine for us. The breakfast was mediocre at best, and the pool was small and obviously a bit older. My biggest complaint is that after walking around the theme park all day, there wasn’t dinner options close to the hotel that you don’t have to walk to, so we ended up having food delivered each evening. That said, the beds were comfortable and there’s a small refrigerator and microwave in each room, so we were happy overall.

They charge a hundred dollars for a deposit and then don’t give it back.

This was a great spot for a day at Universal. The shuttle was easy and when we didn’t come back on the shuttle, the location is so close that an uber was extremely affordable. I wished the pool had later hours (sun up to sun down) because our kids would have loved a night swim but that was the only thing I wished was different. The place is a little older but was clean. Would recommend .

They made us pay a deposit of 100 dollars. When we checked out they checked the room and said we had juice stains on the sheets, so they took the 100 dollars. When we asked why, they said they couldn’t just wash it and that they had to buy new ones, which was a lie. Do not stay here. It is not worth the money.

My family and I stayed for 9 days recently. For the price, it was amazing. The location is just a short driving distance to restaurants, the major malls and Universal. We enjoyed the free hot breakfast every morning - eggs, toast, waffles or pancakes, sausage or ham, yogurt and cereals. The place was clean, secure and we benefitted immensely from the free parking. The Staff members were extremely professional and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again!

When we got in our room tv was not working and phone was not working, I had to go back to the lobby to let the staff know it was inconvenient because our room was in a different building. They gave us a different room because it will take a while for the maintenance to come and we had to move our stuff to a different room, not much we can do. We checked out early and asked if we can leave our bags and pick it up later. They said they can only keep 2 carry on 2 personal items will have to pay 10$ for every 2 bags we leave

Was my first time staying at a La Quinta. Overall my stay was good. When I got to my room our Ac unit was not working properly. Maintenance came out and reset it but it did not fix the problem. We were able to change rooms and staff made sure the ac was working. Other than that our stay was fine. I would definitely go back again whenever we have plans to go to the parks.

Fire alarm beep went off in the room at 1:47am. Again at 2:15am. We’re here for a big race in the morning - this is a real problem. Front desk offers a room change but nothing else. Can’t offer a discount or anything for the trouble - must go through Expedia. Staff comes to the room and tells us everything is fine with the alarm - like we would call them at 2:15 am for no reason to move to the same room across the hall. Either never stay here and/or never book through Expedia for this place.

The pool was not kept clean at all. Plenty of bugs and debris floating inside and on the surface of the water. If there was a pool cleaning net i could have made something work, but even that was absent.

It's a good place to stay. Very good position for those who are going to visit the parks or the outlets. The only thing that would improve is the breakfast space, because it is a little small in correspondence with the number of guests, but everything else is pretty great.
