I didn’t like that the parking was not included and not made aware that it was an outside company. We arrived at night and tired from our flight. We honestly didn’t see the sign for pay to park and had a notice the next day on the window of our vehicle.

Stayed for 2 nights. Location was excellent for late night uber back from universal parks… room on arrival wasn’t the cleanest- foreign hair in shower and cockroach on floor. Meanwhile I had to pay an extra 100 dollar deep clean because I had my 12y.o. 8lb chihuahua mix for one night while we were there. Did not try any amenities but did notice they had a shuttle to parks as well, and a great smelling breakfast.

I'm from the Virgin Islands so it was awesome to meet someone from my home! There was nothing not to like. Everything was excellent. My kids rated it a ten out of ten. Very impressive place to stay.

It was beautiful The staff I waited an hour in the lobby for my room. They didn’t say anything to me I had to ask what was the hold up. Because my 3 year old was going crazy. No drink or cookie or even an apology for the wait.

the room was nearly exact to the photos available. definitely a lot roomier than i was expecting as well, although the bathroom was smaller. everything was functioning perfectly and wifi/tv setup was a breeze. the front desk was the cherry on top! both of the ladies i talked to during the morning and afternoon were kind and helpful. i would definitely book here again whenever i plan on coming back to orlando :)

It was well located and breakfast was great and staff was nice. The mattress for the sofa bed was disgusting with dark stains, the bathtub drain plug was broken and a drawer was also broken and the carpet in the room was sticky.

Breakfast was good except same food everyday. Room cleaning was okay, I asked them to provide extra towels one day, but it did not happen. So I did not ask them again. Another thing surprised me is they only make the beds and took the garbages out, they do not touch the used glasses around the room. It may not be a big deal but it was annoying when you enter the room after a long tiring day. Also bathroom tub was very old which made it look like dirty, my kids hesitate the use it. There were scratches and permanent stains in it.

First when I booked the hotel nothing was ever mentioned about parking was being charged … and when we checked in the women was not helpful about we needed to scan an app for parking. And today before check out I kept getting texts my parking had expired and when I asked she said it was for the 24 hour stay. Overwll I will not recommend anyone staying there!!!

Great and convenient location to Universal Studios, shuttle services available on way in / back was a bit tricky as it rained that day and we needed to return sooner than expected shuttle time. Return shuttle service back to the hotel is not flexible.

The room was big and very clean and we really liked the location being so close to universal. Pool area was quite small but not a hugely disappointing thing as we didn’t really use it and we would have liked if room service food was an option.

This was an excellant stay. The only complaint I have is I feel when you book a room a parking place should go along with it. Here, not only did I have to pay extra for a place to park my car, but I had to do it by putting all my fonancial information on my phone. If I have to pay for parking, I should be able to pay in the hotel without putting this on my phone. This is the first time I have ever used my phone for paying for something and I was not happy about it. Other than this, my stay was great.

Unexpected fee for parking. Hard to understand why the charge for parking as it was their parking lot, no security or garage so wasn't happy about that. Also you have to pay for the continental breakfast. With wanting to charge you extra for everything I gave it lower stars. Property was clean and not far from the park which was a positive.

We have stayed at this hotel on several different occasions and it is a great hotel for the money. It is about a 15 minute walk to Universal City Walk. You get a nice hotel minutes from Universal without paying resort prices. The parking is an expensive add on but it is in line with all the other hotels in the area.

The room was clean except for the bathtub kept getting clogged every time you took a shower and I had to call down numerous times for them to come fix it. The staff was rude at the front desk. The breakfast was horrible for $8.00 a person... it was close to Universal. I would never stay here again

The room felt clean and recently updated. The breakfast area was very bright and inviting with lots of seating. Even though it was a simple breakfast, there were lots of options to meet all needs. The staff were helpful and very kind at every step of our stay, from check-in, to breakfast, to check-out. The staff seemed happy to be there and enjoying each other's company, which goes a long way to creating a welcoming environment. We left a stuffed animal behind and the staff were so incredibly helpful and kind about helping us find the item and get it sent to our home with a sweet note for our daughter. There was only one set of extra bedding to use for the bunk beds. Easily remedied with a trip to the front desk, but since it is bunk beds it would have been nice to have had 2 sets in there.

The breakfast was simply on the more awful side of okay. It should be free. Everything was clean and very average. The best thing about this place is the location to universal. If I returned I would not pay for the breakfast.

Overall it was a nice,clean hotel. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The evening staff was phenomenal! The daytime staff were not particularly friendly. Breakfast was mediocre. If you are traveling here in the warmer months, be warned that the AC units in the rooms work on motion sensors and will turn off while you are in the parks. While the temperature was in the mid 80’s for my visit, this wasn’t terrible. However, coming back to a 75° F room after being in the sun all day wasn’t ideal and definitely would prevent me from staying here any other time of year.

The air conditioning system lacked centralized control. This resulted in restricted operational capacity during nighttime hours, contributing to elevated temperatures. Furthermore, the AC filters were due for replacement.

I wanted Eggless breakfast and requested the staff to provide if they've. Their staff ended up giving me bagels which we ended up eating without knowing they also had egg in them.

The hotel was very good and clean. The closeness to Universal was very helpful. A little disappointing the fact that the parking payment needed to be done separately and the staff member that checked us in the evening was indifferent and not welcoming.

As a female solo traveler I felt so comfortable staying in this hotel.

The location was close to Universal Studios. Someone called my room phone at 12:30 am and someone was banging on my door at 2:30 am. Not a simple knock, but an aggressive knock that lasted more than a minute. I was afraid for our safety and therefore, we didn't open the door and we had a difficult time falling back to sleep.

The rooms were spacious and equipped with a convenient kitchenette, including a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, and sink, which was a nice bonus during our stay. The breakfast was solid, with a good variety including eggs, potatoes, sausage, pancakes, oatmeal, cereal, fruit, yogurt, and more. The location is excellent—right across from Universal Studios—and the area felt safe and typical of a tourist-friendly zone. It’s approximately a 22-minute walk to the CityWalk entrance (via the valet walkway), and the hotel also offers a free shuttle throughout the day to Universal Studios and Epic Universe. Uber rides typically ranged from $10–$16 depending on the time and ride type, and about $22 to Epic Universe. The hotel is also close to Premium Outlets, along with plenty of shopping and dining options. Disney World is about a 20-minute drive from this location. The only downsides were the parking and bathroom layout. Parking costs $25 per day and must be paid through your phone via a third-party company (PMC). It was also unclear how closely the parking area is monitored. That said, the parking spaces themselves were large and plentiful. The bathroom—specifically the toilet and shower area—felt very tight and a bit cramped. But it was okay since we were barely in the room.

Location, location: Proximity to Universal, restaurants and shops are the main convenience. While the room, the furniture and the washroom are dated, the cleaning staff has done their job properly. We felt the washroom room layout is off because the sink is located outside the bathroom; you are opening the door handle with unwashed hands. Parking fee was a painful surprise; we never knew about the parking fee ($25/day) while we booked the hotel. We wanted to dispute the parking charge. Expedia or the hotel should waive this charge. Thank you very much for your understanding.

Our 6am flight was cancelled and we had to book a last minute hotel. Not only did this hotel have a availability but they allowed us to check in really, really early. The beds were comfortable, the location was 17 minutes from the airport and directly across from Universal Studios and tons of restaurant options nearby.

Breakfast is good as always at IGH, a little of everything for all eaters. Staff were amazing, easy going. Room was very spacious, felt like a small apartment. Shower could have been cleaner and room was never vacuumed but that’s just me being nit picky. Overall was a great stay from being out of state.

We were woken up at midnight to a leaking ceiling after the plumbing from the shower in the room above us leaked. Required a room change in the middle of the night as well as disrupted our sleep stay.

There’s no coffee creamer they only have half and half and that’s not ever filled up. Breakfast is cheap at $9 but nobody tells you that until you go to get orange juice. Overall quiet place friendly staff. They need to have coffee in the rooms with creamer.

Thank you for your excellent service. As someone who owns a service-based company, I believe no matter how beautiful a hotel is, what truly stands out is how people are treated and your team delivered on that. We traveled with a service dog, and everyone, including housekeeping, was incredibly kind, respectful, and accommodating. That level of professionalism and warmth does not go unnoticed. The only physical drawback during our stay was that the walls were extremely thin, and you could hear just about everything. While that affected comfort, I understand that’s not something the staff can control. If it helps improve the experience in any way, I do want to mention a checkout issue. When I requested a simple receipt for our restaurant charge, the process became surprisingly drawn out. We were trying to get on the road, and what should have taken a quick moment turned into an extended back-and-forth explanation. There was repeated discussion about needing identification, policy details, and system limitations. As someone who owns a service-based company, I believe no matter how beautiful a hotel is, what truly stands out is how people are treated and your team delivered on that. We traveled with a service dog, and everyone, including housekeeping, was incredibly kind, respectful, and accommodating. That level of professionalism and warmth does not go unnoticed. The only physical drawback during our stay was that the walls were extremely thin, and you could hear just about everything. While that affected comfort, I understand that’s not something the staff can control. If it helps improve the experience in any way, I do want to mention a checkout issue. When I requested a simple receipt for our restaurant charge, the process became surprisingly drawn out. We were trying to get on the road, and what should have taken a quick moment turned into an extended back-and-forth explanation. There was repeated discussion about needing identification, policy details, and system limitations. The staff was wonderful. We had asked for a handicap room and did not get one. It was very difficult when I had a parent that could not take a shower and struggled to get up and down on the toilet.

This was a good stay overall. The staff was helpful in every aspect and the location is very close to the parks. My ONLY complain is the AC unit that shuts off automatically and there is no way to control it. This woke us up in the middle of the night every night.

Check-in was great, the staff were super friendly. The rooms were clean and spacious. The only down side was the breakfast it is the same continental breakfast you get for free at another hotel but they charge you $8 a person here. It is what it is, but overall the hotel was perfect.

It was bad service . No room service done during our stay. Rooms were so bad when we walked in. Asked for towels atleast they didn’t care to bring it in. Next morning i have to go get them. I would not go back again

Was not told that breakfast wasn’t free, like ALL of the Hyatt Places I have been. On top of that, the breakfast was mediocre, at best. Also, the drain in the tub/shower was super-slow, which had you standing in a pool of water, while showering!!!

This nice, clean hotel served all of my needs and desires. Natasha at the front desk (and bartender) was especially charming and helpful. She gave me a quiet room on the top floor away from the elevator without my even having to ask. The location, including the parking lot, is convenient and safe. I will certainly stay here again.

They should have that in an email or advertising unless i missed it. I wouldnt have stayed if i knew that. $25 a night is crazy but everything else was fine.

We had a nice stay here. The room was very clean and cool. They let us check in pretty early which was a huge bonus so we didn’t have to pay to park at Universal. It is close enough to walk, but it’s still a good ways, so I wouldn’t recommend in the summer. I would stay again.

QR code/text message line for paid parking did not work. Shuttle to Universal did not include evening options during Halloween Horror Nights (the main reason we chose this hotel). Room was large but the comforter/duvet combo was annoying and thin.

The hotel staff was wonderful and welcoming. However, when we arrived to our room it looked like the wall around the door had been damaged. Then when we went into the room, the metal door stopper was loose. It made me uncomfortable because the door stopper was not properly secured to stop someone from entering.

The room was well kept, clean, and spacious. The hotel was conveniently located, near the parks and restaurants. The shuttle was timely and included in the stay. We have stayed at other resorts that required an additional fee for the shuttle. The staff was pleasant and eager to assist us. We really enjoyed our stay and would book again!

When we checking in we had the sweetest young lady. We were trying to recover from a busy day and then flying to Florida to go to the Haunted Nights at Universal Studios. She got us checked in quickly and then helped with making a special order Starbucks coffee and we were on our way. She was funny and kept us laughing as she was our girl at check in and almost our barista. All staff was wonderful.

We stay at this resort every time we go to Orlando we enjoy staying there and there’s enough room for more than enough people. We had a group of five people and everybody slept comfortable.

We arrived early and asked if we could go ahead and check in. The gentleman at the front desk, Kadeem, was fantastic! He was patient, polite and provided excellent customer service. One of our rooms was ready and he let us know when the other one was. The young lady that was working with him, I didn't get her name, was also very helpful with tips for our Universal Horror Nights visit. They were so enthusiastic and made it really feel like a vacation. 5 Stars for the front desk staff!!!

Positives: Staff were lovely and friendly, assisted with any issues we had. The hotel was in a convenient location to the park (nice walk to and from the park). Cons- Despite registering with the parking app for the duration of our stay we were ticketed twice (assuming they misread the plate's zero as the letter O), causing us to worry our rental car would be towed. The AC unit was incredibly loud when it'd turn on; it sounded like a 98 honda civic thats been modded but is on the verge of falling apart. The metal components in the shower were rusted, and anytime we showered there was an offensive smell thst came up from the drain and surrounded the entire room for an hour after.

This is the worst!!!!!!! hotel out of all, while checking in I was told reinnervation was going on, which wasn't brought to my attention upon booking, misleading pictures on the website, there was no complimentary water in the room upon arrival, when I called front desk and ask about the water, I was told it was $3.50 per bottled water. so I went to Walmart and purchase a case with 24 bottles with the cost for two bottles at the hotel, then i was told by the receptionist at the front while checking in that I have to pay $22 per night for parking, and $8 per person for breakfast, so to me it was all about the money !!!!!!!! I forgot to download the app for the parking, and to my surprise when i went outside the morning after I checked in there was a warning ticket on my car stating that they would take further actions if I did not register my car, when all it takes was a phone call to remind me about the parking. lighting in the room was very poor, there were no mirrors in the bathroom, bathroom space was like a match lots of dust was on the carpet in the corner next to the window, which haven't been clean for a while. my stay was very uncomfortable and humiliated the way i was treated and I will never make this big mistake to book with this hotel ever again. I I'll give a score of 10 to both employee who compliment my dress while I was heading out to my engagement sorry, I didn't got their names but they know who they are.

Really large rooms with many of the comforts of home. Loved the kitchenette, the large sectional couch and the generous floor space. We were so comfortable. And so affordable!

It is a great location for visiting the parks. Easy to schedule shuttle transportation and an easy to access affordable breakfast for a quick bite.

It was noisy throughout the night. Loud emergency exit door slamming and equipment noises made it difficult to sleep. Would not recommend this place.

The complimentary breakfast was decent. While there weren’t a lot of options, it was enough to fill you up and get your day started. One downside was the housekeeping schedule. They consistently came very late—around 5 to 6 PM—which is unusual. Typically, housekeeping services rooms earlier in the afternoon while guests are out, so it was a bit inconvenient that they didn’t come during those hours. The pool was not in service during our stay, which was disappointing. However, guests were allowed to walk over to Hyatt House and use their pool if needed, which was a thoughtful alternative. The location was also great for guests visiting Universal Studios—it was just a few minutes away. The hotel also offered a free shuttle service to the park, which was very convenient and appreciated. Another area that could be improved is the checkout process. There was only one agent at the front desk, and I had to wait quite a while as she assisted the guest ahead of me. Around checkout time, it would be helpful to have more staff available to manage the flow and reduce wait times. One final note: parking is not free—guests are required to pay $22/day Overall, it was a good stay with a few areas that could be improved to enhance the guest experience.

Everyone is so nice there. Miss D and the young guy at the front are awesome! The breakfast is great and only $8. It’s right across the street from universal $6 uber or free shuttle. Rooms are big and new and very clean. It’s quiet. There is a nice outdoor pool and the price of the room is super inexpensive. I love that hotel and I will look at Hyatt places now in other cities. Great location, large roomy rooms, parking is paid independently from Hotel so it can’t be billed to your room, breakfast is an additional charge of $8 per person each day but it’s NOTHING more than any other Hotel breakfast that is included in stay. This breakfast should NOT have an additional charge.

Safe and Walk distance to Universal Studios. No worries about parking. Shuttle bus is also available.

Loved the stay here! The staff was very nice, room was kept clean, every night we returned to our room our beds were made and trash taken out. Shuttle service is available to universal and back. The only thing is the return time was not clearly communicated for the shuttle, I assumed it’d be there when the park closed at 10 but last return shuttle was at 9:20 so we were left without a ride back home. We had to get an uber. Still giving this place a 5star bc of how great everyone was and also there is a schedule for the shuttle to look at but apparently I missed it so that could have been avoided. Breakfast options were good as well. I’d stay here again if we return. Thank you all

I’ve stayed at this property many times over the past 15 years because I loved it. They PREVIOUSLY had complementary breakfast and free parking, but now there is additional charges for both. The rooms have also changed so there is less room and fewer places to put things. The dresser under the TV is gone so you really do have to live out of your suitcase. The tiny tables available struggle to hold chargers and other bedside items. I was disappointed. Oh- no blanket for the sofa bed, so ask for one on your way up. We arrived late and my grandson was cold that night. Maybe that’s how they keep the electric bills down.

The universal shuttle latest pickup is 9:20 but the park closes at 10. They sent us to wrong spot for pickup at Epic and we ended up getting an Uber. With one elevator out of service it made going and coming a problem . Breakfast was the best I’ve seen for a budget hotel though. They had bacon every day.

Paid over $200 for a room and when we got there 1 out of 2 elevators was out of service! Finally made it to our room with all our luggage and went to get ice. Ice machines were on floors, 3,5 & 7. Made it to 3rd floor and ice machine was out of order so up the hot stairwell to the 5th floor. Check-out was chaotic because of the elevator shortage mixed with cleaning crews trying to get cleaning supplies up the elevators also. Needless to say it was not a good experience

We stayed here for a few days while we visited Universal Studios and Disney World. The shuttle to Universal was great and on time, and we enjoyed the pool and guest laundry services. Staff were very friendly.

Our daughter had bites from this place. They looked like bedbug bites and showed up after sleeping here. She slept on the hideway couch. The pool was infested with spiders.
