    Cleanliness, everything was dirty. I had to buy products to clean the room and always there was food odor in it, when people from others rooms were cooking. All day and night. There are people who lived in the hotel.

    The entire place is very dated and dirty. The hallways are dark, the elevator is dirty and so are the rooms. As soon as I walked into the room it had a strange odor. The carpet in the room was filthy and has several stains. The bedsheets also stained. All the furniture is chipped and falling apart. Not happy at all with my stay. Plus it took about 30 minutes to check in since there was only one employee in the lobby. Never again!

    The room itself was probably kept as clean as it could be considering how old and tired everything was. The mattress on the pullout sofa needs to be disposed of ASAP. The ventilation in the bathroom needs an upgrade as well. The vanity was falling apart due to the buildup of steam and moisture in the room. As for positives, the staff was extremely nice and welcoming and the AC In the room worked.

    Walked into the room and immediately got hit with an old musty smell. Luckily, it looked like housekeeping left an air freshener can in the room so I was able to blast it to get the smell to a tolerable level. The pull out sofa was disgusting with stains and crack all over. The carpet was stained throughout the room, and the shower was unmaintained and barely drained while in use. The cherry on top was finding a live cockroach on the nightstand when I woke up in the morning. As I was leaving I saw another outside of the room. I tried to bring it to the front desk’s attention when I was checking out, and the only thing I was left with was, “Okay.” Please steer clear of this hotel. There are better options available in the area for the same or better price.

    The room i originally checked into was used. The bed was soiled and smelt like smoke after I requested a non smoking room. I then was moved to a second room, that room was INFESTED with roaches. The room didn’t have proper linen on that bed. The entire experience was utterly miserable.

Hotels.com has made multiple attempts to contact the property to secure a refund, and the hotel has refused to respond. The photos used to advertise this property are clearly from a different, much nicer location and do not reflect the actual conditions. This was, without question, the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The lack of cleanliness, accountability, and basic professionalism is unacceptable. Do not stay at this hotel chain.

    This was a very dated and not maintained hotel. It stinks of weed. There are dogs who bark, I killed 3 roaches inside my room. They provided 1 extremely small trash can 3 small travel size bars of soap and 4 towels. There was mold in showers , refefridgerator was very dirty and rack was rusting. Recommend staying somewhere else.

    We arrived late with six people,checked in and thats where it all started. The hallway smelled of urine. The room was dark and dingy. When we opened the pull out couch there was no bedding at all. The mattress actually had smears of what looked like excrement and found signs of bed bugs on the mattress. The front desk actually refunded the payment for the dog but not the room. My son called and had to demand our money back and was given the run around. Update 5days later we were finally credited the room rate.

    Front desk staff was friendly. Always greeted us with a smile.And was very understanding about my concerns. I did not like that the pool was closed. Nowhere on the site Did it mention that the pool was out of order. I also didn't appreciate the fact that I had to go buy my own pots and pans. The police arrived several times for several different reasons.

    We only stayed the one night out of three because it was too late to change. The real disappointment was I immediately booked our other two nights at a different hotel through Hotels.com and told them there’s no way we could stay at the extended stay. They contacted the property and after a long back-and-forth for days, the property would not refund us the remaining two nights. I’m very disappointed in Hotels.com not coming through when we were totally misguided with this dump that was a true crap hole.. oh also the druggies around the parking lot were a mess and the cops were even there in the morning when we left..trust me; don’t stay here!!

    Nothing at all,What so ever The overall customer service was disgusting just as much as much as it smelled.. urine and animal odor throughout the hallways and room..You wont get any compassion or respect from the manager because once the room is booked your comfort is the least of the worries...Tried contacting this location multiple times for being over charged due to misunderstanding and misinterpreted conversations but the manager of this location is unprofessional,disrespectful and proceeded to hang up and avoid incoming calls from customer relations regarding this situation.The bed had no.     The guy at the front desk he was so pleasant and welcoming I am sorry I didn’t get his name but he was there when we checked in on Friday after 6pm and he was very warm and cheerful. We needed that after our long flight. It was easy and smooth process to check in the room was extremely clean and tidy. It was very spacious the water was very hot throughout the duration of our stay. We normally book Extended Stay America Hotels when we travel and they never ever disappoint.

    We got called the day we flew in telling us that there was a maintenance issue with our room, and they had to move us to a sister hotel close by. As we arrived at the hotel with people using drugs out front, the crazy guy approaching my kids staring at them. I went to the original hotel the regional manager said ok we will get you a room here it wont be what you asked for. We agreed because it would be better than the other place. She also said she would send us a voucher for a free stay (never got it). She was nice but we got a smaller room than we paid for no discount, no voucher, and room smeeled bad. Ill never choose extended stay again.

    This hotel is super run down, musty and overall it needs a major overhaul and renovation. The lighting is horrible, the bathroom was outdated and there was water damage to the sink cabinet. The towels in the bathroom were DIRTY or stained either way gross. The kitchen and appliances are outdated. I would NOT stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

    The room smelled like tobacco, I had to spray my perfume in order for us to really stay in this suite. The bed sheets on one of the beds, there was light brown stains. Inside the bathroom, there were not big enough soap bars and There could have been more effort put into this hotel.

My low review is due to the fact that they advertise breakfast included when in fact all they offer is coffee and some tiny muffins. Better advertise no breakfast, or describe it as what it is...I really dislike deceiving advertisement.

    Disappointed in the grab in go breakfast. Its not what i paid to stay there . I was hungry nothing to drink but coffee and i don't drink coffee. My kids were hungry. Wouldn't have stayed if i knew it was grab n go. 😕

    The stay was beautiful. I love how it’s was roomie. It was clean. It smell like a nonsmoking facility it’s had a full kitchen bed was comfortable. I love kitchen area with table it’s beautiful plan I will come again.. it’s it was 6 people.. yall keep them out 302 was my room

They wanted to offer me another room to split my family up . We’re not from the area and felt uncomfortable sleeping in separate rooms.     Pool was out of service our entire stay. Room had roaches and ants. AC in room stopped working. Kitchen was not equipped with utensils prior to us arriving and they were very limited on the utensils they did provide.

    DO NOT BOOK HERE! I booked a room at this hotel and as I got off the exit to check in, I got a call at 4:16 PM stating that they were overbooked and that we no longer had a room. Juan (who worked at the front desk) called to let us know but was like "Oh we have a sister hotel in which YOU can call and reserve". We asked him if he could just move our reservation over and he said no. We hang up and book at Cabana Bay. He called about an hour later to inform us that he booked for us. We told him to cancel and we already found another hotel. The next morning I woke up to a charge from extended stay. It was a no-show fee! I called the hotel that morning and was told to call at a later time for manager. Later that day when we finally got in touch with a manager (Monica) who at first refused to give us her name. She stated that she needed to speak with Juan before she decided to refund us. However, she would not let us know when she would get back to us. I got in contact with Hotels.com and they were able to get us our refund. However, they also had a hard time dealing with this hotel. If it wasn't for them I do not think we would have received our refund. Our fun trip to Universal turned out to be so stressful because of Extended Stay. I would STAY far away from them. Plenty of other options in Orlando.

    Once walking in , noticed how outdated it was and even though i do not wear shoes in houses or hotels . I felt dirty if i didn't. We had a kitchen stove fridge ect. In order to get cookware you needed walk to lobby to retrieve . They had no dish soap. No dishwasher tablets avaliable. In addition shower bracket was broke so the shower head/handle needed to be held at all times with barely any water pressure. One 1oz body was and a bare of soup . After cooking the first night the remaining 4 nights it always spelled like a an animal died . The fan above stove did not work .it absolutely wasnt cute. And to be bougie how do we not have a smart tv at this point . And floor was sucken in on one side of bed

    There was a lot of loud noise coming from the room upstairs from ours. We called the front desk to complain and was told there wasn’t any thing that could be done until after 10pm. We asked to be moved to another room and that was denied at first then when we did get moved, the room smelled like raw sewage, there were no dishes or utensils available and the breakfast was a joke! I was embarrassed, we had our grandchildren with us and it was a nightmare. Never been so happy to check out of a hotel!

    I will give a modest review of our stay for consideration for future improvements. First, the hotel has great bones, but could use quite a bit of TLC. Very clean with exception to the cigarette odor in the floors and walls. The reception folks were always very kind and attentive - there was an older woman working the front desk who told us to be careful because “Biden’s policies are letting illegal immigrants in” and proceeded to say that there was an attempted murder at Universal because of this (this was an odd conversation to have with front desk staff at check-in). The electronic door locks (both on our room door and the back entrance door) do not work unless two cards are taped together. Our room was very clean and came with a fridge, oven, and microwave—air conditioning was great and the bed was comfortable. For amenities, the hotel does not provide dishes, cups/glassware, silverware, or pots and pans, which is a bit odd. Hotel management—this reads as though you do not trust your customers. There should be no reason your rooms do not come pre-furnashed with appropriate amenities. If you are a customer and intend to use these amenities, you will either need to ask the front desk for all that you need (they will happily help to provide what you need) or bring what you need. A bit outdated overall, but it wasn't horrible. It wouldn't be hard to get a great rating with some simple fixes, but currently has a 4.5/10 rating from me. Please invest in this hotel!

We had to ask the maid and other guests if they had anything extra so that we could cook dinner.     Terrible. Many people living there. It was just me and my 12 year old daughter in Orlando and I did not feel safe. People were up all hours of the night and the hallway smelled completely awful. I locked and put a ironing board against the door.

    The staff was friendly and helpful, but they were tough to find. The hotel itself is definitely older and worn. Our room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, as did the hallways, but it was clean. It was ok for the few hours we needed to take a nap before coming home, but would not stay for more than that.

    very disappointed that this hotel states they require $100 deposit to check in (this is not listed on website or reservation). This was not anticipated and although I only stayed 1 night, this $100 is still absent from my bank account and I had to adjust finances accordingly. I was told this was new policy as of 2/1/24 - and required for possible damages. Although The halls and room was overall free from debris, but there was overall unpleasant odor in halls and in the room. Bed was uncomfortable and not enough blankets for comfort. I thought there was no trash can anywhere in room, bathroom or little kitchenette, so my paper garbage was piled on the table in my room. When preparing to check out, I randomly found 1 little trash can inside a cabinet in the kitchenette. Shouldn’t there at least be trash can in the bathroom? Finally, when I called to request a 1 hour late check out, the staff member stated they would have to take money from my unanticipated $100 deposit. I felt that to be very un customer service friendly. If it was because of bookings, that’s a more legitimate reason to deny a very slight late check out. I honestly can’t remember any hotel that has not been flexible with late check out when needed for personal reasons. So, overall disappointed - especially for such low quality facility that does not match the room rates and very unnecessary $100 deposit (my credit card was file for potential “damages” coverage)

    Room was very dirty, pet had destroyed room prior to our arrival and not repaired, smelt like burnt greasy food, very dated and not worth money payed. Had to leave 100 deposit for room not even worthy of it. Nose burned when we woke from strong odars

    I was looking for an inexpensive place to stay for one night and I got what I expected. I research all of the hotels and read reviews going back at least six months. This hotel was rated a high six. I think that's accurate. The Good: 1) Convenient location - Universal is just down the street, 2) There are multiple food options that you can walk to, 3) The room was relatively clean. The Not So Good: 1) There's a security deposit of $100 when you check in. It wasn't mentioned in any of the communication I received after I made the reservation. It wasn't a big deal but it might be for others. They should be upfront about it. 2) The walls are thin and there's a lot of noise that comes in from the street. I didn't have an issue with noisy neighbors. Everyone staying there was respectful of other people and there were four rooms on my floor that had pets so the potential was there. 3) It was nice having a kitchen but utensils, plates, pots, and a coffee maker were not included. I would have had to go up front and ask for them. Coffee makers come standard in most hotels. As do standard kitchen tools in suites that have a kitchenette.

    The people were friendly and helpful. Though the room looks like it's seen some trouble, there was paint over some damaged things around the cabinets and the floors were dirty to the point it stained my bare feet after a shower. Don't know what gets done when rooms are cleaned but a regular mopping would a seriously important need given the wooden plank tiles. Oh and a side note is I know the smoke alarms and detectors are important but having one right above the bed that has a blinking red light at night isn't very conducive for trying to sleep.

    Upon checking in no one was to be found. The employee did not show up for 10 minutes after standing there. Then upon entering the room the bathroom was terrible, there was mold all above the shower on the ceiling. Beds were comfortable but bathroom was unsanitary. Outside area had trash overflowing from the trash bins.

    When we forst arrived there was no one to let us in to the main lobby for us to check in. It was around 11pm. After checking in we went to our room and it was musty but appeared clean. After a few minutes we were getting ready for bed and we saw a cockroach run across the bed. We immediately grabbe dour stuff and checked out not even an hour and a half later. Will never come back here

    I got there at 2:30 am, no one at the front desk and the lobby doors were locked. Not great for a solo female traveler. They canceled my room despite my calling to tell them my flight was late. The desk person finally came and he was great (not his fault that the room was cancelled), got me a room for the same rate. However, the door lock was broken, new room had flooded and was being treated, third room finally worked. Elevator had sheets covering the walls for some reason. Once I got a room, it was clean, extremely big with a full kitchen. So kind of a mixed review. The staff on site was great but definitely had some issues with the rooms.

    I loved how they cared about my family and I. When we went to our first room there was mold in it. They immediately swapped us rooms. They ended up giving us 2 rooms because all they had were rooms with one bed in them. I will come back here again. The rooms we ended switching too smelled extremely clean.

    There was a strong smell as you walk in to the building. The carpet in the room also had a strong smell and the sofa bed was in really bad condition. The room was big and kitchen and bathroom were clean. If you going in a family vacation, this is not the hotel for you.

    Staff was not unhand to check-in my daughter and the manager at the sister property, across the parking lot verified this. Finally after several hours waiting for a prepaid visit, the staff would not let my daughter check-in without paying. They were "gracious" enough to let them check-in before the 3pm check-in time. Mind you that this took place between 1-3:30am and the sister hotel was fully booked. Expedia contacted the hotel on our behalf to request a refund but it was denied. So I had my Wells Fargo representative cancel the charges.

    Got a call the day I was checking just to tell me that I had to be there by midnight or my room would be canceled. Then I was told they did not have the room I booked however they did offer joint rooms so I could be next to my son. THEN when my parents came their room was not available and they had no more rooms period. When you’re traveling 6-8 hours this can become very frustrating and concerning for future travelers. Now I have to fight Expedia to get my money back. Which from my past experiences is gonna to be a pain.

    I evacuated here due to Hurricane Ian. My choices were limited because it was last minute, I needed pet friendly, and I also needed a place with a refrigerator to store insulin. This location was available and affordable with the aforementioned amenities. It isn't a place I would want to stay for a vacation, but it met my needs. All the staff I interacted with were very nice!
