    My daughter loved the pool. I loved the vibes. The staff were very friendly. That they didn’t have complimentary water bottles at least. Maybe I’ve been to other hotels where they do. So I had to go all the way to the lobby because there weren’t any vending machines on the hallway. And our closest elevator was out of order during our stay. Another disadvantage was that they don’t have a phone at the restaurant/bar so I couldn’t order by phone and then just go pick up when ready. I had to go down, order, go back to the room, then go back to get our food. But the food was delicious specially the personal pizza and chicken tenders, so it was worth the hassle. We ordered from there almost every night during our stay.

    The room had a strong odor in the bathroom and in the living/kitchenette area as if it had very recently been fumigated for an insect infestation. We had to call down for additional towels, toilet paper and because there was an empty tissue box left in our room. When checking out, a woman arguing with the front desk over a $20 hold on her card and another woman was trying to walk her luggage behind the front desk by herself. The staff did a great job redirecting and maintaining professionalism on both counts. Unfortunately our family will not be back because of the room itself as it was a huge disappointment.

    Condition and cleanliness was greatly lacking. Our hotel door was broken so we have to shove it multiple times to get in or out. There were multiple stains on sheets and blankets and the overall atmosphere was bleak. The staff however, were extremely kind.

    Another unpleasant thing was we heard a baby crying next to our room at night and early morning almost everyday, very annoying. I made a complaint to Front desk, Maurice, on the check out day, gwhich he apologized and said that I should let him know right when it happened, so he could change the room for us, so this was a thing that I liked.

    The property was beautiful. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. We checked in for a Disney stay. They shared that shuttle service was offered. Also, vouchers toward snacks were given. The hotel room has a fridge, microwave, and is very spacious. I did not get to experience the courtyard and pool but it was beautiful. We did the breakfast buffet which was delicious and worth the price.

    Only complaint I have and I believe it’s mostly Expedia’s fault is that it advertised the queen bedroom as Breakfast included when it didn’t include breakfast and we did not choose the King bedroom for this reason.

    BEWARE Extremely disappointed. With 100000 hotels in the area. Had I known, I NEVER WOULD HAVE STAYED AT THIS PROPERTY. Upon Check In: Keys did not work Had to go back down through the Pool Area to get to front desk. (with luggage in tow). DUE TO KNOW ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE. No AC in Hallways or Elevator. Once we entered our Rooms there were double beds not the King size that we booked. Property blamed wrong rooms on Expedia (though I showed the confirmation from Expedia. which clearly listed King Rooms) They offered free breakfast to help...and Expedia did refund one night for both rooms. FYI Leaks in the soffit over the window Dirty bathtub Safe broken, requested to be fixed. Was told the next day I needed to be room... Had to carry my jewelry and passport everywhere I should have checked out and found a better hotel. Truly should have got a full refund.

    My room had a roach on the bed, we were moved from rooms but I was still worried, we were compensated with ice cream. the so called park shuttles only go to Epcot and Hollywood studios, so if you’re thinking of booking to use the shuttles for magic kingdom or animal kingdom they don’t do drop offs there, and the drivers are rude they gave me a hard time especially regarding my stroller and the second driver refused to transport me and my young children, just ended up unerring to and from the parks for the remainder of my stay

    The staff was top notch and helpful with anything I needed during my stay. The breakfast is great and the spiked slushes at the bar are delicious. I have to call out they're bartender Owen! He is beyond awesome!! Even locals come to see him because of how amazing he is! Thank you Owen for talking with me this week as I'm dealing with my separation! I would come back to Orlando to just hang with you sir!!

    Great hotel, 9 year old loved the pool with the splash area, made the stay. The bathroom shower in the room was really nice also. There must have been some kind of allergen in the room because it seemed like allergies kicked in when we were in the room for any extended period.

    Front desk was super nice, while property was “clean” you can tell it was older hotel with thick layers of repainted paint on the walls to cover up whatever wall stains or to appear nice. I noticed old furniture wit stains around the elevators old rugs in bedrooms.. stained tubs overall just needs a bit of renovations and some TLC. Lobby was nice. Pool area nice. food from bar edible. The hotel served its purpose which was to sleep. There was a one night loud crowd came through and was loud in the halls talking and what not. Good location..Close to restaurants, parks, stores but unfortunately I would not stay again.

    The staff from all shifts were just so amazing and so accommodating. The pool is beautiful and such a cute vibe. The drinks are A1! Starbucks in the lobby and dinner. Literally only 10 min from Disney and you’re able to walk to all the gift shops! Really good location

    The lobby looks fine and staff is friendly, but costs are not transparent. Booking through Expedia did not disclose a required deposit, so you’re surprised at check-in. Parking is $20/day, which does not match the area and should be included. The Starbucks café is limited, overpriced, and lacks real quality or variety. The main issue is the bathroom. The bathtub fills with water while showering, covering your feet, with slow drainage and visible residue (including plastic-like particles). This raises clear hygiene concerns. The sink soap leaves a sticky film on your hands. For a property under Marriott, these issues show a clear gap in maintenance, cleanliness, and overall value.

    I recently stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Lake Buena Vista in Orlando and had an outstanding experience. The property is beautifully maintained, offers excellent rates, and is conveniently located just a few miles from SeaWorld. The amenities are exceptional, including an on-site restaurant, bar, Starbucks, snack area, two pools, and a well-equipped fitness center. One unique highlight is the large outdoor screen by the pool, perfect for enjoying sports and movies. The rooms were immaculate, and the beds were extremely comfortable, making for a very relaxing stay. Most importantly, the staff provided exceptional service throughout our visit. In particular, Mike Fontez at the front desk went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Orlando area and will definitely return in the future.

    I was here for my daughter’s birthday with my husband and family. We had a suite and had one tiny trash can which they only came to empty once and we were there for 3 days. No house keeping came to add more to towels until the day we before we left. And if you have a room infront of the pool you will hear kids playing all night in there. I have a young daughter and we saw a bug in our room and I was told someone would contact me but they never did and we paid over $600.

    The check in was ok he talked really fast ..we had a suite and the room needed upgrading the ceiling had stains we tried to call the front desk the phone didnt work the light in between the beds flashed we didnt have tissues and we didnt have enough towels for 5 people we had to ask for them...i probably would not stay here again it was mediocre at best. The rooms we noisy you can here everything outside...the front door was very hard to open..the suite had no paper towels and only 2 glasses that didnt match..

    I paid for a room and was given another room because they were overbooked. Was told that the reservation was made with a third party and they couldn’t do anything about it. I was charged the amount for the other room anyways. When arrived at the room, the room was dirty, it even had a pair of shoes left from the last guests. The refrigerator was filthy. It seems that yogurt spilled and they had left it for days. We arrived at 11:30 p.m. and had no energy to even go and say something at that moment. The next morning, the person in the front desk was rude, not empathetic at all, he had an attitude. Thank God that the stay was only for one night. The employees need to have better communication and inform their guests if there is a change or if something that occurred should be fixed.

    The pool was great, location was great. I booked a suite that showed a balcony in the details. I specifically booked a balcony. Traveling with 4 kids I needed some zen time once they knocked out. Just to sit out on the balcony and unwind with a glass of wine. I get there, and ni balcony. I asked for the balcony I booked for. They said it didn't say balcony.     We stayed at this property for our Disneyworld Vacation. The things that made me pick this property at first were the pictures looked amazing, the price was great and Shuttles to the park were provided (or so we thought). The property uses a a shuttle service called Platinum Transportation and they ONLY pick up and drop off from two of the 4 Parks. Epcot & Hollywood studios. This made it so hard. We went to Magic Kingdom on our first day and got there late due to the pick up time for the shuttle being after the park opened, We had to get dropped off at Epcot then take the shuttle and boat to get to Magic Kingdome. We stayed to watch the fireworks. Shuttle pick up time was at 10:30 the latest. We had to take the same route back to epcot and missed the shuttle by 2 min. THEY WILL NOT WAIT for you or even give a grace period for you to make it on time. So basically you have to cut your time at the parks in order to make it for the shuttle or get your own Uber back to the hotel which then defeats the purpose. When this was brought up to the hotel staff they made it clear that it was not their problem and we would need to call the transportation company directly. This made me not want to stay at this property again. The room we got looks like it was a older room. Almost all of the outlets did not work. We had to constantly watch our stuff to make sure that it was actually charging.

    On our first night, our key card did not work when we returned to the hotel. We were locked out of our room and had to stay outside with our infant for about an hour before the issue was resolved. This was very stressful and unacceptable, especially while traveling with an infant. The room itself was also in poor condition. The sofa bed was completely flat and unusable for sleeping. The throw pillows looked dirty and disgusting, making the space feel unhygienic. To make matters worse, the mattress had saggy springs and some of the springs seemed to be coming through, making it very uncomfortable and concerning from a safety standpoint.we asked for replacement but no available. Overall, the condition of the room and the inconvenience we experienced made this stay extremely frustrating. I expected much better standards from Marriott Courtyard. I hope management takes these issues seriously and improves both the maintenance of their rooms and the service provided to guests.

    It wasn’t bad. But the room smelled a little like smoke and old room. Our room was really far away from the main pool. The door to get into our building was really hard to open especially when we have our son in a wheelchair so it was hard to open and push or pull the door. It would just keep getting stuck. We did love that housekeeping was very in point doing our beds every night and bringing extra towels every day.

    I would give 4 stars as the quality, cleanliness, and various options of this Hotel makes it a bit more than decent. However, I would like to mention, they make you pay a $20 a night overnight parking fee if you happen to drive to the hotel. I found it to be a very tasteless and tackey fee to add on after being so reasonably priced on front end.

The only downside was that the complex and overall decor was a little worn - doors shabby with some chipped paint. However for the price, very reasonable.

    The front staff was really nice and helpful. Housekeeping could be better, we ended up having to switch rooms because housekeeping wasn’t available to change our linens. They moved us to an upgraded room no extra charge. The shuttle comes on time and take you to Epcot and magic kingdom. Would stay here again if the rates stay low.

    The room was very dirty and in bad shape, needing repairs and updates. False advertising on the "Free Shuttles" to the Disney parks. There was a shuttle available to Epcot and Disney Springs 2 times a day. Customer service lacked apon our arrival after taking a red eye flight and paying for the previous night to ensure our early checkin. Out of our 3 night booked reservation we stayed one night. We left early due to the inadequate living space.

    We did not partake in the breakfast Service as it was too expensive for us.! Negative was there was no complimentary coffee in the lobby. For what we paid for the room they should have been a given. We did not go to the bar as we are not drinkers. Our safe did not work, although we did not bother to have someone come to fix it as we were time constrained. The grout on the floor of the bathroom was black. There was hair in the bathtub before we ran our first shower. The staff never gave us a second hand towel which would have been nice because there's really not a whole lot of room around the sink to set things up without those things getting wet when you would wash your face or brush your teeth. The location was good for the area that we wish to visit which was the Disney parks. I wish there was more information on these is there was no one at the booth. The brochures could have included what they give at the parks which would be the maps of the certain areas so we could plan are they there.

    The property is a little older, I noticed some sidewalks are in disrepair. My room, and the public areas, were clean, but it's apparent that the property is a bit older. The corridors and the guest room are dark. The dark gray paint colors and lack of adequate lighting make the spaces feel gloomy. The bath vanity has only a backlit mirror and could use more light. The music at the pool is somewhat loud and it doesn't go off until 10:00 p.m. I turned into bed rather early but the noise from the pool area made it difficult to wind down and relax. The location is very good with lots of restaurants, some within walking distance. It's also very close to theme parks and other attractions. There is a shuttle service which is an added bonus. There is very limited selection at the cafe, which was a bit disappointing when I went down for a little breakfast. I wasn't able to use my $5 credit. Overall, I had a good stay and would consider in the future if the rate is good.

    What started off as what I thought would be a nice place to stay turned into an extremely disappointing experience. My room wasn’t properly cleaned at all — the sheets were never changed (including a bloodstain), the room was never vacuumed or mopped, and nothing was actually cleaned, just superficially arranged to look done. There were ants on the table, which only made the lack of real housekeeping worse. When I asked for four towels, I received two, and instead of addressing any of these issues, the front desk manager gaslit me and accused me of staining a towel with eyebrow dye when it was simply green juice I spilled and wiped up. I was even told housekeeping had videotaped my room, which felt completely inappropriate. I visit Lake Buena Vista often and was hoping to make this my regular home away from home, but being misled about resort fees and treated with dishonesty and deflection made this stay completely unacceptable.

    The luggage carts are also an issue and could easily cause someone to get hurt. A full frame luggage cart is a much better option than the small, triangular shaped ones. None of us had breakfast, so we are unable to rate that. The area surrounding the hotel is great and is very close to Disney Springs. I’m not sure if we would stay at this one again. The likelihood of having to face another potential asthma attack is daunting to say the least.

    The room was in pretty rough shape. The shower barely drained, hair on almost every surface, and the bed was not very clean at all. It was cheap, but for a Marriott property I at least expected it to be clean. I would not stay here again.

    I went to EDCO and chose this hotel because of the shuttle service. I checked in at 430am- but it was smooth and quick. The room was clean, bed was cozy, staff was friendly- to me. My daughter arrived later than me, and although Mike put her name in the notes to allow her to check in, some female associates gave her a difficult time. After some other man came to her rescue, our stay went beautifully.

    We saw a sign saying that Marriot policy is not changing and made the bed every day. I asked do not change the sheets or towels, We understand in our house we are not changing Sheets or towels every day but yes we made the bed every day and the front desk said not because is the policy Marriot. This is not correct. Marriot is a big Hotel company to reduce this service.

    There was a roach in my room. Staff said they could have engineering come up and spray. I had my 5 year old granddaughter with us. You can imagine what I told them. They would not move my family to a different room. Front desk said they would have manger reach out to me. Never heard from them. Lobby is beautiful looks are deceiving. Would not recommend.

    We booked a non smoking and the first room we checked in smelled horribly of smoke. Went back to the front desk, while they were getting us a new room, one of us walked over to the bar and the bartender said they were closed, when my friend came back over and said that, the front desk agent rolled his eyes and said, "it supposed to be 11" clearly this happens alot. We went to our new room, which didnt smell of smoke, but mildew, at this time we were exhausted and just wanted to sleep. We were gone most of the next day. When we got back we went to the bar again for a drink and some food. This was a Marriott and I expected more than a Espresso Martini from a can?! We ordered calamari and a pizza. When it came out, the bartender put the pizza (which was in a box) and the plate of calamri down and said, enjoy. No plates, no napkins, no silverware. We had to ask, she had to go in back as she only had one set up behind the bar. When she came back 5 min later with 2 more set ups, we still had to ask for plates, which ended up being paper....not what I expect from a Marriott

    Also, as an aside, I had a payment issue during check-in where I had to step away for a second midway through the process, and the first man helping me went to hand me a complimentary bag with what looked like water bottles and maybe some other things. I didn't take the bag from the desk since I hadn't finished checking in, but when I continued the process with the other man working the front desk, I was not given a bag. Inconsistency seems to be an overall issue at this location.

    For the days when breakfast isn’t served, guests are directed to the on-site Starbucks. While having a Starbucks on the property is a nice touch, it comes with its own set of drawbacks. During my visit, I found that the food options ran out quickly, which left me scrambling to find something to eat. I ended up purchasing two coffees and two croissants, and to my surprise, the total came to $32.00! This was particularly frustrating given that there was a limit of $15 per adult for breakfast. Unfortunately, this limit didn’t even cover the cost of my small order, which felt quite unfair. Overall, my stay was decent, but the breakfast situation definitely left a sour taste. It would be helpful if the hotel could improve their breakfast service and ensure that guests receive the value they expect, especially when paying for a full week.

    The staff was great, however, the room was musty and could not be remedied. There is no outbound ventilation, so all the moisture from your shower, or your wet towels, stays in the room. If you've been in a high school locker room before, you will be familiar with the smell. Additionally, you can hear every sound from the hall and surrounding rooms clear as day. If you do not plan to spend much time in your room, it may be fine for you.

    The first room they put me in smelled like cat urine. The second room had tiny roaches on the counter and nightstand. The carpet was dirty, and they didn't refill the toilet paper when they cleaned. They left the nearly empty roll on the holder, so I had to go down and get more. Not what I expected from a Courtyard. Paid extra for a nice stay.

    Hotel staff was very friendly, rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable. The rooms had plenty of outlets and usb charging areas. The carpet in the room was worn but nothing to bad. Walls are thin you can hear everyone in the morning walking by your room. The only major issue we had was parking late night. We were in the building way in the back and there was limited parking. When we returned from a park super late at night there were no parking spots available anywhere near our building so we had to park way on the other side of the hotel. Overall I’d stay here again just maybe would ask to stay in a different building due to theParking

    I had a worry about an issue with me checking into my room, so I called and asked, I was reassured that I was okay to check in and and not to worry because I had been coming from Disney and was exhausted and hungry. It was 11pm. Then I go to check in and they take everything back and say it wasn’t them. I had to argue and then get the cops threatened on me to leave over their mistake, then they doubled my deposit.

    This was our 3rd stay at this resort over the last few years and unfortunately the property has gotten worse. Rooms are old & outdated, ceiling is filthy, old and worn out bed sheets & pillows, we found and killed a roach in our room, terrible lighting everywhere including rooms, hallways and out in the parking lots. People outside smoking cannabis. Just not a great representation for Marriott. Pros continue to be location is great and pool area.

    However, the rest of the hotel looked a bit run down, which was surprising for a 4-star resort. There’s also a daily resort fee and a $20 per day parking fee, which can add up quickly. The bed was comfortable, but the AC unit is located right next to it and blows cold air directly on you. Unfortunately, that made it very uncomfortable for the person sleeping on that side of the bed, and they didn’t sleep well. In short, while the hotel has some appealing features and is in a convenient location, there are a few areas that could use improvement to truly match the 4-star rating.

    I am not one to ever write poor reviews but this stay has truthfully been the worst hotel experience I have every had. I have emailed the general manger in efforts to avoid this review but that individual has not had the courtesy of responding to my email so I am writing this review. Let’s start from the beginning, the night we checked into our one night stay, we were first greeted with the information that this hotel falsely advertises being a good neighbor hotel and individuals staying there do not get the benefits of early admission into Disney which is the only reason we had even selected this hotel. Shortly after we entered our room at around 11:15 pm, after entering we quickly realized our room was not cleaned. We found toys, trash and someone’s dirty headband in our bed. We were then moved to a second room in which we also immediately found other peoples trash in our pull out bed. Not to mention the pull out bed was yellow and dirty. later into our stay in the new room we then found dirty panties under our mattress. The individuals working here do not take the time to clean these rooms and I believe individuals should know prior to booking that you should expect dirty rooms when booking this stay. Desk staff was wonderful Steven and Maurice were both beyond kind but aside from them two all my other experiences with staff has also been terrible. I will never book a stay here again.

    Great hotel. Clean, reasonably priced, great location. Pool is great and is heated. Two issues--no spare roll of toilet paper and the Starbucks in the lobby has prices 60-70% above regular Starbucks. (A small coffee was $5). There is a Starbucks about a 1/4 mile from the hotel.

    It's incredible how Marriott degraded this hotel chain. Towels felt like sandpaper, linens were smelly, pillows were old and yellow, you can hear the other room people snoring so imagine when they were awake. I've used a lesser hotel brands recently and they had de-humidifiers, to avoid smells, another do not allow you to stop the ventilation as the humanity in FL creates a very nasty smell., not at Courtyard. Quite smelly rooms. Price as a better brands, including ridiculous extra fee, parking fees to park in the sun so there's not even covered parking. Glad now is easier to find how many brands / what they own as I'm sure simply is the same.

    Awful experience. Booked a 14 night stay with breakfast included. After 7 nights was told restaurant was shutting for refurbishment (didn’t see any refurbishment start in next 7 days we were there so assume this was a lie, the first of many). Complained to reception who offered to waive the destination fee as compensation. Upon checkout received a final bill stating I owe the hotel $24. Naturally queried this with reception who told me that it was an error and no money would be taken from my account. Arrived home to find that that was a lie too and they have taken $24 from my account. We were also charged for a lunch in the final bill which I had already paid for at the time. Staff on reception at check out was in middle of her lunch so basically just lied to my face in order to get rid of me and get back to her lunch. Disgraceful service

    Pros-check-in was smooth & quick. Room was clean only issue was slow sink drain. Staff I dealt with were friendly. Cons: The pool area isn’t manned, every entrance has a towel area that was empty. Had to visit the lobby to get pool towels. The was a rowdy group rolling joints at the pool, they probably looked about 16. Parents left young kids unattended around the slide so we hoped to enjoy to pool area but it left us annoyed and unimpressed. This was fine for one night but we would’ve been really disappointed if it were a longer stay.

    Pool was very dirty. It had children's feces in it. Children were left unattended in the splash pad slide area. They were jumping from high areas of the slide which made it dangerous for smaller children like my toddler. I was afraid they would fall on her and cause her bodily harm or injury. I was surprised that this area isn't supervised. This hotel has so much potential. It just doesnt have the right workers. Staff didnt add my breakfast to my profile at check in. Dining staff told me i had to go back and ask them to add it. What an inconvenience. Dishes were dirty at breakfast . Room was clean.

    They didn’t care. I suggested they tell handicap people to use the front automatic sliding door but they don’t because that isn’t near the handicap parking. The “market” Is way overpriced. The room was mediocre. The TV has no channels unless you logged into your streaming accounts. Literally no perks of staying here versus another hotel. The experience was disappointing and frustrating.
